After an accidental teleportation spell and gaining her first 'faithful' student, Twilight Sparkle realizes that taking on the role of a mentor might be a little more difficult that she may have first thought, that and he's kind of cute.

NOTICE: I don't know how it started, or why, but for whatever reason, it seems a lot of people think the main character is some sort of soldier. He IS NOT any kind of military. Yes he owns a gun, that does not mean he's some kind of USMC or something. He is just a regular guy (Kind of). I hope that clears some things up
