Returning to Equestria, Fairlight is forced to work for the agency, a shadowy organisation that removes 'problems' from society, to keep the status quo and protect the integrity of Celestia's vision for pony kind. Intrigue and deception, however, are never that far beneath the surface. Fairlight's quest to uncover the truth behind the spirit which inhabits him, takes him across Equestria on a path that will uncover a hidden chapter of a past long since buried and perhaps even into conflict with those he has sworn to protect.
