Ch. 30 The Forger gives me a job

I wake up not in my nice bitchen bed at Dash's parents house, but in a forge. Working on the forge was a huge man with a massive pair of arms and was barrel chested. The thing that worried me was that he had a massive red beard with flames shooting up of it.

I groaned, another god needed my ass for something. Don't they have their half kids for this shit? Hephaestus looked down at me and put down his massive fucking hammer and walked toward me. " Marvil" He said, gods he sounded like a gruff old man!.... I hope he can't read my mind.... " I need your help with something, first though, your lazy ass can help me with this."

He grabbed a hammer from a rack and dropped it at my feet, narrowly missing my boys. " yes lord Hephaestus."

" Just call me forger boy, now my wife told me that you turned her down a couple of years ago." I tried to lift the hammer and barely got it off the ground, it must of weighted 500 pounds. Hephaestus rolled his eyes and picked it up with one hand and started hammering a white hot piece of metal.

" Anyway, can you tell you why you didn't take her up on her offer?" I gulped, A few years ago she did try to sleep with me, I wouldn't go into details but I was lucky she didn't turn me into anything.

" Um... because.... um, she wasn't my type...... please don't break me.....?" I get out. The Forger looks angerly at me.

" Boy did you say I didn't find my wife attractive?" O gods, he was going to beat me to death with with his hammer! He looked at me for a minute more than burst out laughing. It sounded like a hammer hitting a anvil. He picked the thing he was working on, still white hot, and put it in water, hissing loudly.

" Just messing with you boy..... Anyway I need you to get something." He tossed me what he put in the water, it was a round bronze sphere woth a really big button.

" You know the brothers of that horse your sleeping with?"

" Yes sir.... and shes a pony not a horse."

" Whatever..... those are some horses after my own heart" forger smiled. " building machines for everything, but they love a good joke. The little bastards keep pranking me!" I looked at Hephaestus, shocked.

" The little fellas prank you? Why are they still alive?"

" Because I like their work. Now shut the hell up or I'm going to hit you with this hammer." My mouth clamped shut. " You need to get me a very special hammer of theirs and I'll give me a little leway in telling them to leave me the hell alone."

" Is this hammer heavily boobytrapped?"

" Theres a good chance."

" ....... I don't have a choice do I? "

" Nope."

I sighed " Okay, I'm in." He smiled at me and clamped me on the back, almost throwing me across the room. " Good, just press the red button when you get it. After all of this is over you just ask and I'll forge something for you, just tell me what you'll need, goodbye." He snapped his fingers and I was back in Dashes parents house, falling on my ass to the hard godsdamned floor.

" Why Zeus WHY!" I asked. A flash of thunder answered me. I guess even gods and find shit really funny.....

Yay me.......

2 hours later.......

Everyone was at dinner except me. I told the ponies I was under the weather and I guessed they believed me because no one asked me anything about it. As they had a probably nice ass dinner I was doing my best to get past the little fellas traps. I was not doing a very good job.

" Ow Ow Ow" i said as i was catapulted for the 10th time as I tryed to get the hammer. It was in the middle of the room on a platform and it was even bigger than the other that I had seen, I couldn't tell you how they could of gotten it up there. It had looked easy from the start but it was boobytrapped about a 100 square feet around. I hadn;t got 90 feet near it.

" Okay this time just rush it!" I jumped up and charged the hammer. Somehow the floor catapults missed me, I grinned, laybe it wasn't goin- The floor opened in front of me, showing a chasm. " What the fuck is wrong with these kids!" I yell as I jump over and barely make it to the other side.

Intruder, Starting defense protocole 362

That didn't sound good..... i heard a big metal crash behind me. Turning around I saw that it was a massive metal pony charging me!" FUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKK!" I yelled as I kept running, avoiding all of the dangerous traps, you know flamethrowers, flying saw blades and stuff like that.

The metal behemoth was just a few feet away from me now. To make it worse the floor near the hammer was gone and there was no way I was going to make the jump. " Thats great, I'm going to get killed by something that was made by kids, my mother would be so proud." I grumbled. Then I had a amazing idea, okay more of a crazy idea but a bad idea is better than no idea.

dodging the ponies huge hooves I scrambled up into it. It did what I hoped it would do, it tried to buck me off.Moving to its back I waited until it kicked its back hooves and jumped. The extra momentium was just enough to send me over to the hammer. I jmuped on celerbration. " YES! I did it! Take THAT you stupid metal donkey!" He didn't like that but I didn't see what he could do.

Putting the sphere on the hammer I pushed the button, in a blink of a eye it was gone." Now that that is over how am I-" Something huge smashed into the ground behind me, breathing onto me back. The big stupid donkey could jump pretty good I guess. Turning around I smiled up at the pissed off metal creature. " No hard fellings big fella?"....

Twilight was sitting on her bed reading one of the rare volumes that she had gotten the other day. I wonder if Marvil is feeling any better She thought as she finished the book. I should go se- She heard a lot of loud bangs and Marvil smashed through her all and halfway through the other. Twilight ran over to check to see if he was okay. "  Marvil, what happened?!" She screamed at him. He looked at her and patted her on the head. " Pretty birdies go tweet tweet!" He said before he passed out.

Despite everything Twilight snorted. Picking him up and healing him with her magic she put him on her bed as Dash,Sea Breeze, and Skybreaker smashed throught the door. " What happened?" Dash demanded. Twilight chuckled. "Its just Marvil being Marvil.".......
