Ch. 10 I build my bitchin house

Luna left me by the lake a little more than drunk. I hope she doesn't slam into the tree, I thought me myself, chuckling. After all of the fun was over, I went to Twilight's house to get all of my building stuff so I could get to work. When I got to the clearing by the lake and put a stick were I wanted the house to be. Then I took off my shirt and grabbed one of my axes and started cutting a tree down." I'm probably going to need 40 trees, so it’s going to take the whole day just to do that, then cutting them down to shapes gonna take a while and then there's putting it all together, may as well get started." I muttered to myself getting ready for a long day....

4 HOURS LATER....

  I had cut down 8 trees and I was already drenched in sweat. The sun was about halfway up in the sky. “Damn this is hard work." I stretched, hearing all of my back bones pop. “Time to cool off." I walked to the lake, hopping in. “Marvil!" I looked around, walking out of the lake. “Hello?" I asked to no one that I could see. Then I saw then." O hello girls, what are you doing here?" They all looked worse for wear from drinking all night. “None of you can be feeling good, especially you Rainbow." I laughed at all of them, causing them to wince. “You girls still should be asleep. Applejack, with an unruly mane and bloodshot eyes, said " Marvel were gonna help ya build yer house and no butts about it!" I smiled at the girls. “If you are alright to do it I would appreciate it, now who wants to help me cut down the trees?"

The whole thing went along much faster with the girls. Me and Rainbow were cutting down the trees, AJ and Fluttershy flattened the ground where I wanted the house to be. Rarity and Pinkie took the limbs off the tree and Twilight used her magic her magic to cut squares out of both sides of the trees, about a foot into the trees. In just 3 hours we were almost ready start putting all of it together.

“Jeeze Rainbow, you smell like an ale house. In fact, all of you girls wreak, even you Fluttershy, and you weren't even at the party!" I was given a volley of go buck yourself and buck you's. I laughed “Come on girls; let’s take a dip in the lake." All of the girls except Rainbow, she looked scared. “What’s wrong, Rainbow?" I asked frowning. She looked down and muttered something. “What?" She looked up at me was angrily said, “I CAN'T SWIM! Are you happy now?" She looked like she was going to hit me. I squatted down and looked her in the eye. “Rainbow, its okay, come here." I grabbed her, picking her up by her front hooves and carried her to the lake. She was about to protest, now looking terrified. “Rainbow" I brought her to my face. “I’ve got you; I'll never let anything happen to you." She looked down and muttered something under her breath, blushing.

I went through the water until it was about waist deep. Then I put Rainbow's lower body into the water. “It’s okay I got you." Soon she calmed down and started to have fun. She was laughing and splashing, even letting me bunking her all of the way into the water. “What have we got here?" We all looked to the shore and there was Celestia with about 30 other ponies around her. The one that I caught my eye was the unicorn that was standing next to her. He had a brown coat and dark eyes. His cutie mark was a book that was open. He looked about my age and he had an awed look on my face. I smiled and said, “Hello Celly, did you want to get off your lazy arse and help little old me?"

All of the ponies gasped, except Celestia who was trying hard to keep her regal composer and not trying to laugh. She raised an eyebrow." Celly?" I put Rainbow on my shoulders and walked to shore." I'm Nobility to Celly so I'm not going to call you Princess, and I'm tired of calling you Celestia, so Celly it is." She snorted and started to giggle. “Were you now?" "Yes I was, I was a lord of the whole northern province of Reau!" I exclaimed proudly. I guess Celly couldn't hold it in any longer and started to crack up.  The brown pony got in my face, looking very angry he said," How dare you speak to the princess like that! You say sorry right now or you'll be sorry you monster!"

I laughed," This one has stones. Now Celly, What can I do for you? What are all of these ponies doing here?" She said, still smiling" My sister told me that you were building a house near the Everfree forest, and I thought you could use some help and some appliances." I looked behind her and say that she had brought a bed, an oven, and other stuff like that. I whistled and gave Celly a hug." Thanks Celly, you know that I now owe you 2 debts?" She giggled again, "You can fulfill one of those debts right now." She motioned the brown unicorn and he came over." This is Spell Slinger, he was a student at the Canterlot' college for gifted unicorns. He has begged me for the opportunity to study you. I wanted to see if you would agree to it." I smiled at her and shook Spell Slingers hoof nice to meet ya Spell." He frowned " I prefer Mr. Slinger if you don't mind." “Alrighty Spell, how are you going to study me?" He got huffy and I tried not to laugh. “I’m going to need to be with you 24/7, even live with you." “Live with me ay?" I put a hammer in his hoof." Then you can help build our house." I smacked him on the rear and I said, “Well get going!"

Spell Slinger looked pleadingly at the princess. She giggled," You heard him Spell Slinger." He then walked to the product sight and started to work. Celly walked up to me and said," Marvil, I hope your hospital was pleasant." I looked into her eyes and she looked into my eyes. She knew that I knew what she did to me and she didn't think I could do anything about it.

I kept a straight face and said," It was fine Celly, hey, if it isn't too much of you got me a distiller for me was a few tons of sand is it?" She raised an eyebrow, “It’s not but I have to ask, what’s it for?" " The sand's for a train area that I'm digging today and the distiller is the thank you I'm going to give all of you, It would be great if you could bring both today my gift will take 2 days to brew, so you and Luna some in 2 days okay?" She shook her head yes." Good, Girls! Grab some shovels and follow me!" All six of the mares grabbed shovels and followed me. I walked until I found a good spot.

“Here’s a good spot, alright girls lets dig. We big about a 100 square feet and 4 feet deep. Then we moved the earth and made 2 mounds that were 20 feet all around and 15 feet tall. I pulled out my dagger and cut my hand. “For Dthort." I muttered. I walked around his burial mound, the blood covering the outer edge of it. Then I walked over to the other," For Leo." I did the same thing.

When I was done I felt my hand tingle, my cut was gone. I looked up at Celestia; she was standing next to me. We both stood in silence, respecting the dead. Celly broke the silence," Marvil, if they were anything like you than they must have been great men." " They were" I said rembering the both of them. " Now they are drinking with Ares, and they will be remembered by these mounds, even long after him dead." I smiled," You know Celly, you would of liked Leo he was a real joker." She smiled, " You know Marvil" " What?" I asked. " Luna's going want to have a nickname too." We both chuckled. " I already got one, Lulu. Remember to bring her in two days." She promised she would and left with all of the worker ponies.

What I thought would take 3 days only took one, the house was fully furnished, ad my training grounds were done. I even got the ingredients to make itholth. I smiled, today was a good day. Pinkie got me out of my thoughts. She light a tube with a match and it shot in the air, shooting out lights and making a lot of sound. “What was that Pinkie?" She smiled at me." That was a firework silly." I grinned evilly, I finally figured out how to get Celestia, all I needed was a date to start. “Pinkie do you have any more of those?"......
