Celestia has protected the secret to magic in Equis ever since she was little. Having the duty passed down to her by her father, she only trusts her sister and Cadence with this knowledge. However, a recent dream has caused her to add Twilight Sparkle into the loop. A dream of a monster that strikes down everyone in its path, a being like a cyclops, with a crimson eye that only seeks the source of magic.
Yet the monster is not the only foe she faces. A pair of mercenaries has shown up in her lands, both of who have skills and abilities that she is not certain she can best. One is strong, fast, intelligent and wears an armor that can stop even magic. He is to be feared
The other won't stop hitting on her. She just wants him gone.
