Sunset Shimmer Loyalty Part B: Arrest him.

Spike ran over and aimed Sunset's arm to the wall. She fired, causing a burnt mark on the wall.

"Commander!?" Sunset asked in shock. "What the hell are you-!?"

"You don't need to shoot him." Spike interrupted "You've learned your lessons all those years ago, so it's best to use them now. Killing him will say that you've never learned anything, and that you're as equal as a criminal as him."

"Then what should I do?"

"Be the better woman I know you are." Sunset blinked for a few moments, then sighed. She dropped the pistol

"Alright. What should we do with him?"

"You can let me go." Fade suggested, creeping his way out of the door. Sunset's aura grabbed him and dragged him back. Spike saw a pair of handcuffs on the table and took them.

"I think it's best for the royal guards to decide." Sunset nodded and turned Fade around, allowing Spike to arrest him.

"You-You can't do this! Sunset! You're really following a Draco's orders!?"

"Why not?" Sunset asked "He knows what he's doing."

"Who the fuck are you!?"

"Commander Spike." Spike simply answered. "Sunset, get a tablet! The police will need all of the evidence they need."

"Yes, sir!" Sunset and Sweetie replied, though Sunset had a smile.

They quickly dropped Fade off at a local Canterlot guard base, tied up with his wings, arms, and legs together, with a tablet tied around his chest, complete with evidence on all the crimes he committed. They quickly found that the fake Twilight look like herself from the Simulation, but wearing a hoodie to protect her identity. This proved to be a bit tough on Sunset, as she still had feelings for him, but found it a bit good, knowing that Fade was still alive & he'll get what's coming to him after all those years, along with knowing what Mecha-Sparkle would look like. Sunset parked on a roof a mile from the Canterlot orphanage. They could see a huge celebration was there, most likely because it was both the orphanage's 150th years and Celestia herself was attending the festival. Sunset sat behind the wheel of the vehicle they drove, taking a deep breath from her nose.

"Is there something wrong?" Spike asked "You're starting to make me nervous."

"Nothing." She replied "I... I wonder if we made the right choice. I'm not sure letting him live was the right choice, and the fake Twilight's out there, ready to attack Celestia!"

"This isn't like you." She looked away.

"What do you want from me, Spike? What would you do if someone betrayed you?" Spike remained silent for a few moments.

"...I'm not sure. But I wouldn't let me change me."

"I would've said the same thing before it happened to me. Look, even if I'm not here to stop Mecha-Sparkle, someone has to stop her before she gets to Celestia! Nobody knows that she's around nor know what she's capable of. I don't see any other options."

"What if I talked to her?"

"Talk all you want, but there's a little chance that she'll listen and I won't! She screwed all of our friends! She deserves to die."

"I understand what you're going through, but do you really want to kill her?"

"I appreciate your concern, but I'm not you."

"Yes, but this isn't you either."

"Really? I've always hated injustice; the thought of Mecha-Sparkle getting away with this. Why should she go on living while five, soon to be six, good people in unmarked graves!? I'm sorry, Spike, but words aren't going to work! I need to set up here; you both go down there and find Mecha-Sparkle and distract her. Give me a signal, move, and I'll pull the trigger. It'll be quick and painless, I promise." Spike and Sweetie Belle nodded, Sunset exiting the vehicle and taking her position as their vehicle automatically drove them close to the festival below.

The festival boomed with loud music as people danced, new couples (both traditional and strange in sex & species) found a child or children they'd like to adopt. The place was crowded, but Spike could see Celestia herself, standing while greeting both new families and having small talk with some of the local orphans, not even showing prejudice to the more... special born kids. To be safe, both Spike and Sweetie Belle walked towards Celestia, knowing Twilight would be around there as well. They both found Mecha-Sparkle, slowly making her way towards Celestia, who was talking to a couple. They both rushed to the fake Twilight.

"We found her!" Spike announced in his helmet

"I see," Sunset replied "Stop her!" Spike and Sweetie ran and stopped Mecha Sparkle in her tracks.

"Can I help you!?" she asked impatiently, he legs and hands twitching "I'm on my way to meet Celestia!"

"Alright, I have her in my scopes. Move to the side and let me have my shot." Spike noticed that, right between Twilight's eyes, was a small hole that a bullet could fit in, but perhaps, if he wanted to, with Sweetie Belle's help, a single bullet could help reprogram her to not kill anymore. But it was a wild guess, since he wanted to help the fake Twilight as well; she still was her older sister, in a weird way, and he knew fighting her wouldn't work, but he had to do something, or else Celestia may fall victim of a power hungry robot.

I. Take the shot!

Shoot her reprogram button.

Cause a panic.

Kill Mecha-Sparkle.

II. Don't shoot.

This isn't you, Twilight

Warn Celestia.

[Expose Twilight]
