Clare:

I felt incredible, this new form was giving off energy just from the aura, supplementing me with energy even while I just stood there. “It doesn’t matter… I’ll still destroy you” Sombra hissed. “We’ll just have to see about that” I said then quickly teleported behind him and slammed my fist right into the back of his head. His body was propelled forwards and crashed violently into a crystal wall, breaking through it and still travelling through several other crystals.

I flew forwards and chased after him. He quickly redirected himself and flew back at me. We both threw a very powerful punch that connected with one another’s hit right in mid-air. The strikes collision send shockwaves that shattered crystals apart from the sheer force.

We began to absolutely pound each other as hard as we could. My hits were obviously more powerful than his and soon he was fatigued. I spun my body in a complete 360 and kicked him in the side of the head, sending his body crashing through several crystal walls in the caverns.

As I went to fly after him he appeared behind me and slammed a kick into my back that sent me crashing to the ground. I quickly rolled sideways and dodged his attack as he tried to crash land into my body.

I quickly flew into the air and we began to throw a blur of punches at each other. He slammed a punch into the side of my head and I power housed a kick into his ribcage. He was knocked sideways from the force but kicked me straight in the gut and knocked me back. That damned power crystal was supplementing him with power, but my energy aura was supplementing me with energy as well.

I back flipped in the air and brought my hands together as I cupped a sphere of bright blue energy. He flew directly at me and I fired the blast. He collided with the blunt force of the blast that erupted on impact and vaporized his body into smoke.

He quickly reformed his body but I flew forwards and pummeled him with a furious volley of punches that riddled his body. His horn flared and he blasted me with a purple beam of energy that knocked me back, smoke emulating from my chest where the blast had hit me. That’s when I remembered that I was still naked.

“Hey wait” I said and Sombra hesitantly stopped. “Moon, use the earring and give me some clothes” I called out. She had rejuvenated herself with the earrings and I knew that they could most likely get me some apparel.

Her horn flashed and my body was covered in a beautiful set of clothes: a duster coat, trousers, a white t-shirt and black combat boots that fit perfectly, even with my bulky muscles. I smiled and gave her a nod. She was looking a lot better and hopefully she would recover quickly.

I turned back to Sombra. “Thanks for waiting… I just thought it was awkward fighting with no clothes” I said and he nodded. He flew at me and we both connected a punch with each other’s face. I slammed a kick into his chest that knocked him back but he back flipped and booted the bottom of my jaw.

I staggered back through the air as he charged at me. I quickly brought up my right hand and blew him away with a blue energy blast. Part of his body had been disintegrated and the other part of his body simply floated in the air.

“Why you little… ARRRRG!” Sombra yelled as he regenerated his power. I didn’t give him any time to properly regenerate and quickly began to pummel him with a volley of furious punches and kicks.

He staggered back and managed to blast me away with his horn, part of my duster coat became torn. He flew forwards and grabbed my leg then spun me around in circles before letting go of my leg. I was propelled to the ground and crashed into the floor of the cavern. The crystal flooring cracked and I was in a small crater that had formed from the impact.

I quickly spun around and fired several energy blasts into the air that erupted violently as they decimated Sombra. I stood to my feet and quickly flew back into the air. Sombra zipped out of the smoke and we collided with each other.

In a blur of motion we began to hammer each other with a fury of punches and kicks. I managed to hit him with a powerful kick to the head that sent him crashing into the crystal wall of the cavern. If we kept this up then the entire mountainside of Canterlot was likely to collapse.

I flew downwards and crashed into his body. He gasped in pain and blasted me with another purple beam of energy from his horn. I was sent tumbling across the ground with smoke pouring off my body. I skidded to a stop and back flipped onto my feet.

Sombra charged at me and I gave a tremendous uppercut that sent him flying into the air. I teleported behind him and slammed both my hands against his back and sent him careening back to the ground. He caught himself and was about to land peacefully but I flew down at supersonic speeds and drove both feet into his back as I crashed his body into the crystal flooring. The collision formed a large crater and several crystals burst from the ground and into the air a few feet above ground level.

I lept back but suddenly Sombra appeared behind me and hammered the back of my head with a brutal kick that sent me crashing through several crystal walls. I flipped my body around but he appeared behind me again. I tried to swing my body back around but he fired a blast of energy right into my back that sent me hurtling upwards.

I cupped my hands then swung them to my side as I stopped my body in the air. I swung my hands back outwards and the sphere of energy in my palms turned into a powerful beam that collided with Sombra’s body. There was an eruption that destroyed part of the cavern. I waited until the smoke cleared, Sombra’s body still hadn’t reformed.

I waited for a few more moments but then a kick hit me in the back and sent me crashing to the ground. He grabbed my body in a magical aurora and began to slam my body through several crystal walls. I yelled in pain as my body crashed through each wall then he released my body and sent it crashing through a very thick diamond wall that shattered like glass as I collided with it.

I lay painfully in a smoking crater then staggered to my feet. Sombra landed close by. “You’re… pretty strong… stronger than before” I commented. He smiled. “Yes indeed… it would seem that the longer I fight the more powerful I get” he said.

“Well then… I guess I’ll just have to finish you off quickly” I said but he shook his head. “No… I’m going to kill you” he told me. “Well… you wouldn’t be the first… and then there’s always the chance that you do” I said but I disappeared in a blur of motion and flew so fast that the naked eye couldn’t see me move. I appeared behind him and slammed a kick into the back of his head that flung him forwards.

I quickly zipped in front of him and kicked him again, sending his body crashing into a crystal wall. His body didn’t quite go through the entire crystal wall but he was floating in a crater formed from the collision.

He flew downwards at me and I fired a blue energy beam that vaporised his body. He quickly reformed and he stood there laughing maniacally. “Shoot… my hits aren’t having any effect on him… I have to find a way to beat him…” I muttered to myself as I looked to the crystal that stood at the top of the cave. I could try destroying his crystal again.

I began to yell as I cupped my hands and charged a sphere of energy in my palm. I took a step forwards and swung my hands to the right side of my body as the sphere of energy charged up. “HAAAAAAA” I yelled as I swung my hands forward and fired the sphere of energy which formed into a powerful blue beam.

As the beam was about to hit the power crystal it erupted. The blast shook the caverns. “That had to have destroyed it” I said positively. The smoke from the eruption cleared, revealing the crystal to still be fine and operational. “Then again, maybe not” I said with a sigh of discourage.

Sombra charged at me and we began to fight furiously again. Our punches and kicks looked like blurs as we swung our strikes at each other at Mach speeds. As our strikes connected the shockwaves would destroy crystal formations close behind the impact. I clenched my hands together and hit him with a heavy blow that sent him crashing to the ground.

I figured out a possible way to finish him off, there was only one little problem. I searched Nightmare Moon’s soul to see that she was pure, or well close enough to pure so that she wouldn’t be injured by the blast. I raised my hands into the air, my palms facing the ceiling. Sombra stood up, knowing exactly what I was doing.

“Fool, I will not be defeated as Solar Eclipse was” Sombra hissed as he flew at me to try and stop me from completing the technique. Nightmare Moon collided with him mid-flight and slammed his body into a crystal wall. She gave him a powerful head-butt that dazed him then threw him back to the ground.

She looked up to me as my Spirit Surge began to formulate above me in a giant sphere of blue light. “You better hurry up with that thing. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to keep him busy” she told me then flew back towards Sombra and began to fight with him.

It was taking a lot longer than usual to charge. I didn’t understand what the hell was going on until I looked up. Part of my energy that was being transferred to the Spirit Surge was actually getting absorbed by the power crystal. “Fool!” Sombra laughed as he struck Nightmare with a back hoof that sent her crashing into a wall.

There was no way the Spirit Surge was powerful enough to destroy him at the moment. I gritted my teeth as I tried to think of something I could do but couldn’t think of anything. Sombra flew up at me but suddenly a warhead fitted rocket slammed into his side and he fell back to the ground in a smoking clump.

I looked down to where the rocket had come from to see Long Tail standing with an FGM-148 Javelin missile launcher. He dropped the launcher to the side and gave me a salute. It helped me greatly but only for a few seconds. Sombra rose to his hooves. “Insolent little shit… you shall die now” he screamed as he flew towards Long Tail but then a burst of large caliber rounds slammed into his body and propelled him back.

Sky Dancer stepped forwards in her titanium combat armour along with Discord, both their machineguns were smoking. “You shall not harm my son” she said in a very calm voice then blasted him with another burst from her twin Gatling guns. Sombra brought up a magical shield to protect his body but suddenly an M1 Abram tank burst through the crystal wall and flattened his body like a pancake.

The hatch of the tank popped open and Danko looked out. He was swaying heavily and was continuously taking sips from a bottle of vodka. “Dasvidaniya bitch!” Danko yelled out as he looked up to me. “Hey, move out of way. I destroy crystal thing” he said. “Danko! The crystal has a powerful shield around it. You won’t be able to destroy it” I yelled out to him.

Sombra’s body had started to reform. Danko shook his hand, “Don’t worry… I have good plan, come on Slicky, let’s go destroy expensive crystal thing” he chuckled as he closed the hatch to the tank. The large 120mm smoothbore cannon pointed up towards the crystal and fired but rather than hit the crystal the cannon shell hit the top of the cavern.

“FOOL, hasn’t you mother ever told you drinking was a bad habit” Sombra laughed but suddenly the cavern roof gave way and the crystal broke free. The power crystal fell from the roof of the cavern and as it hit the ground it shattered into millions of tiny pieces. All the energy it contained traveled right to my Spirit Surge.

The cannon swiveled and fired at Sombra who was blown to pieces from the blast. The hatch of the tank popped open. “Okay… everybody in tank now… we get out of here” Danko said drunkenly. Sky Dancer, Discord and Long Tail raced towards the tank but Nightmare Moon refused to go.

“Ugh… Moon… go” I called out to her. She looked up to me. “I won’t. You might need help” she called out. Sombra’s body was starting to reform again. “Nightmare please just go. I’ll be fine, I promise” I yelled out. She quickly raced over to the tank. The others hopped in the tank and she created a shield spell around her body. “Okay, we see you later funky haired man” Danko slurred then drove his tank straight through another crystal wall.

Sombra finally reformed his body. He looked up to me and gasped. My Spirit Surge was incredibly powerful. I launched the sphere of energy at him and it collided with him but he tried to stop it with his hooves. The Spirit Surge stopped and drove him into the ground but he managed to stop it. He began to try and push it back to me but I tensed and forced an incredible energy output. I extended my right arm and faced my palm towards the sphere of energy.

Sombra yelled out in anger as he tried to withstand the blast. The energy created from the Spirit Surge was enough to crack and shatter several diamonds and crystals in the cavern.

Sombra’s forelegs began to cock as he couldn’t withstand the force I was pushing with. His eyes widened with fear and he clenched his teeth to try and push back.

Elsewhere Twilight still showed the events of the battle to the others with her magic. Celestia smiled. “Why am I not surprised” she chuckled happily.

Sombra’s biceps flexed and veins bulged from his arms. His jaw dropped as he realized that this was the end, he was defeated. “Looks like this is the end of the road for you Sombra. Your evil and dark tyranny has come to an end” I said as I smiled. “I wish things could have been different” I said then yelled out as I began to force out the final push to erupt the Spirit Surge. I brought up my index and middle finger to my forehead and gave him a small gesture as a goodbye. “Adios” I told him.

The Spirit Surge cracked and lightning energy crackled around throughout the caverns. Sombra screamed in anger as the Spirit Surge began to crush his body into the ground. I let out one final yell as I ruptured the Spirit Surge. It erupted into a flash of blew light.

Third person:

The Spirit Surge erupted and Sombra’s body was vaporized into the explosion. The explosion ruptured the back half of the Canterlot Mountain and completely destroyed it. The blast erupted in one final explosion that spread out the sphere into a large ball of flashing light.

Smoke emulated off the destroyed part of the mountain. Danko’s tank burst from the front of the Canterlot royal castle and most of the castle collapsed to the ground.

Danko popped the hatch on the M1 Abram and everyone piled out. “Think he’ll be okay?” Discord asked and Nightmare Moon nodded. “I don’t think I’ve ever met someone more stubborn than him… he just doesn’t die” she commented.

Hours later,

Clare, outside remains of Canterlot royal castle:

It was dark out but the lights of rescue vehicles now illuminated the night. Somehow Prince Blueblood had survived in the castle this entire time. I chuckled to myself as the others conversed with one another.

Suddenly a police cruiser screeched up and the General burst out of the car. His real name was Dance Prancer but for obvious reasons everyone just called him The General. “CLARE, YOU’VE GOT A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO oomph” he yelled but just as he went to yell at me Celestia opened the door on her own police cruiser and his face slammed into the door and knocked him out cold.

Celestia looked around in shock as she realized that most of the castle had been absolutely totalled. She looked over to me and trotted over. “Good job Clare” she said proudly. Luna was close by with our two new born foals. “Hey thanks Tia, hey how about I buy you two diner. I know this great Mexican restaurant and…” I trialed of as they both chuckled and shook their heads.

“No? Come on whatta yah say?” I chuckled jokingly. The others all trotted up beside me, even Elder had come down from heaven to see the victory. “So… I guess this is the end huh?” Long Tail said. I gasped, I had never heard him talk before and figured he probably only new native zebra tongue.

“Long Tail… you… you talked” I gasped and he chuckled. “Yeah? An that’s mind boggling because?...” he trailed off humoressly. “I’ve never heard you speak before” I replied and he snickered. “Well… I guess I’ve always been the strong silent type” he told me.

“Well regardless… it’s nice to finally and properly meet you Long Tail” I said as I extended my hand. He shook my hand and gave me a nod. “Well Clare… I hate to say goodbye… but my time is running out. I’ll see you around” Sky Dancer said as she stepped up beside her son proudly. I gave them both a hug then stepped back as Elder stepped up beside them with Discord and Nightmare Moon.

Soon they all vanished into the air. Luna stepped up beside me. “So Clare I was thinking. What should we name our children?” she asked and I looked over to her with a smile.

“Oh Clare… I almost forgot. Now that your back I’m going to need you to start up your old unit again. All it would take would be you coming back” Celestia said. I turned back to her then looked down to Luna. I had a promise to never leave her and now we had children. I looked back to Celestia with a smirk. “No chance” I told her and both Luna and myself walked away.
