A few years have passed once again, and Drew and his team have finally stopped mourning over the loss of Nick. To try and make matters better, Luna proposes a challenge for The Crew. Winner takes all.

Canterlot
Monday, 2170

"So, if we win, we're allowed to do whatever we want for the next week. Don't we do that already?"

"Nay, this week, thou hath paperwork thou shall be doing. If thee loses, thyself hath to join thine Night Guard and do thy paperwork. Plus thine Grand Galloping Gala is this coming week. I assume thee does not want to miss it?" Luna responded, she is currently under a relapse, it's not like she has a choice to talk like that or not. I have to admit it's pretty funny, but Luna, not so much.

"What's the challenge?" I asked, she put her hoof on her chin.

"Thine self challenges thee to a game of Virtual Search and Destroy. I bid thee 24 hours to prepare, and I wish thee good luck as well." Oh Luna, why did she have to go and pick Search and Destroy? That game mode is so campy, and it's the shit I don't like. Well it should be somewhat easy, the map is the Canterlot maze, which means close quarters, and it was us four versus Luna and the three top members of her Lunar Guard.

"So, Lunar Guards, eh? I don't think that's much of a challenge." Helena said, but she shut up once we saw their training facility. This was a true, actual boot camp! I can't believe it, it's just like home! There were squads everywhere, and I bet it's gonna be hard looking for Luna's top three.

"Drew? What is thou doing here? I thought thee was told to get thyself ready?"

"We are, we're getting to know the enemy. Where is this top three you were talking about earlier?" The then whistled to call her top three Lunar Guards, they looked pretty decent.

"Meet Captain Soul Heart, Lieutenant Black Feather, and Sergeant Midnight Candle, thy Commander. Thou's top three students in thou's training academy. Thine art veterans from your many years of campaigning, and former Delta Force." I looked at them in surprise, I guess they resigned to the quiet life of a Night Guard.

"It's been a while Commander. How have you been?"

"It's been good Captain, really good."

"Good luck at the games tomorrow Commander, you'll need it." The Captain said, I huffed and went over to Luna. She then followed me to the exit, and we were off training for ourselves. We were training by going to the training facility in Ponyville, and playing Call of Duty after we finished.

24 Hours Later...

"Okay, the rules are simple. No hacking, or cheating. You can choose any loadout you want, even your armor of choice. Any weapon, equipment, or perks are allowed. There is a ten minute time limit every round. Oh, and we had a last minute change for where this match would take place, we're in the Cloudeseum. Good luck to both teams." Celestia announced. Each team started off at one end of the Maze, and we were started by an air horn.

"Okay guys, we got the bomb this time. Whoever wants it can have it." Jhon had Marathon, Lightweight, and Dead Silence, with a silenced SMG, he's a rusher. I had a stealth class with Ghost, Assassin, and Ninja pro, with a shotgun since it's close quarters. I saw on the kill feed that Kaptn was killed by Captain Soul Heart, and the gunfire showed him near the B target. I then made my way towards A target with Jhon, Helena was camping back with an Assault Rifle, just in case things went south.

"Gotcha." I whispered, and I shot Luna in the back, she dropped to the floor with a *THUD.* I turned around and Sergeant Midnight Candle came up from behind me, but he triggered my Claymore Mine and died. The kill feed showed that Helena was down and so was Jhon, and I was the only one left.

"2v1, not very fair, but I guess I can manage." I said to myself, I picked up Luna's gun and kept going to where the bomb was dropped. I died because it was booby trapped with a Claymore, and the round was over. We all got back up and I changed armor pieces. I put on my MJOLNIR SPARTAN armor, modeled to look like the ODST armor, and Helena had on her SPARTAN Armor too, but Jhon and Kaptn had their traditional ODST Battle Dress Uniforms. The other team also decided to change suits, they were wearing the magical variant of our MJOLNIR armor, its shields are powered by magic instead of our internal power sources.

"Destroy the Objective." I heard our announcer say, I grabbed the bomb and rushed towards B target. I planted a Claymore next to me and I started planting the bomb. I heard the enemy announcer come up and say that the bomb has been planted. The Claymore was triggered and I got Captain Soul Heart, and Princess Luna came up from behind and stabbed me in the back. Helena quickscoped her and camped out B target, and she planted a Bouncing Betty near the Objective.

"Objective destroyed, good work." We heard our announcer say, the score was now tied 1 to 1. We then returned to our spawn point, we were still on the offensive. We then all rushed A side, and quickly planted the bomb, we were camping in all of the corners of wherever we could hide. Luna killed Helena and Kaptn with a C-5 charge, and Jhon and I were both playing dead. The four of them went inside of the room, and started playing around with the bomb, until Jhon and I unloaded and took them all out.

"Hostiles eliminated, good work Delta Team." Our announcer said. Both announcers said that it was half time and we took a break. I changed my weapons and my suit into the Advanced Suit, in which I had a glowing blue faceplate. We all had the cloud walking spell, so footsteps are really loud, walking on clouds is like walking through a foot of snow

"Search and Destroy... Defend the Objective." The whole team spread out, and I took my newly customized Model 1887 out for a spin. Actually, there wasn't much to modify on the Model 1887, all I had on it was that the lever was bigger so I can reload it like a cowboy, MW2 style. The other thing I had modified is that the butt stock was cut off, and the barrel is about three inches shorter. I also had a second one, just in case I wanted to dual wield them, back in the day these guns were so overpowered. I jump shotted Captain Soul Heart, and Jhon killed the Sarge and the Lieutenant. Luna decided to pull a fast one though. She teleported behind Helena and Jhon, and killed them both. Kaptn was already dead because he got blown up by a Claymore. Luna tried the same with me, but I had something she didn't.

Stasis.

I shot her with a beam of stasis, and I threw a Tomahawk at her, killing her instantly. Luna raged, but I was cheering, because Tomahawks aren't always the luckiest thing for me to have. We all respawned in our side of the Cloudeseum, we were closer to the bomb since we were defending. The next two rounds Luna's team beat us, we were caught off guard because we didn't expect Luna's team to start using Portable Radars.

"Final round! This is the tie breaker!" But as she said that, Jhon, helena, and Kaptn backed out, and so did he members of Luna's team. It said that they all timed out, I don't know how, because this is a virtual simulator, but it happened, and Luna and I were the only ones left.

"How about another challenge Drew? I challenge thee to a knife only, this is the final round after all." She proposed another challenge, I gladly accepted and took out Rusty, my knife, and I also readied my Tomahawk. This is my speacial class, to use equipment faster I had Quickdraw Pro and Fast Hands, I also had Extreme Conditioning and Dead Silence. She jumped from behind a cloud wall and she tried to get me with a Throwing Knife. I dolphin dived out of the way and I threw my Tomahawk at her, but I missed as well. She then tried to rush up to me and knife me, but I jumped back and threw Rusty at her. I hit her in the hoof, but since this is Call of Duty logic I still killed her, and I won the final round.

"Remember this day, Drew. Because I shall seek my revenge!" She had that angry face, I laughed as I took off my Virtual glasses, and everything turned back to normal. Bullet holes in the wall disappeared, guns on the ground dematerialized, and the damage done to my Advanced Suit was gone as well.

"Well, I guess we're going to the Gala this year, we haven't been in forever!" Jhon said, I don't think Helena ever went to the Grand Galloping Gala before, and she was very excited to go.

"Thou has earned this week off. I would also like to sayest good game sire." Luna's relapse was wearing off, not by much though.

"Don't worry Luna, we'll join your Lunar Guard." Her eyes sparkled.

"Really?"

"Eventually. How does next week sound?"

"Thank you thank you thank you! I've been DYING to try and watch you spar with the Lunar Guard! They've always said they wanted to rip your innards out of you, all while you're alive!" Oh geez, that's kind of harsh. Anyways, I hope the Lunar Guards will find mercy on their souls because they're the ones who are going to get their guts ripped out. By us of course.
