Isn't life just super awesome? I mean, what else can you ask for rather than being chased by a mare? Sadly, we weren't being chased by THAT kind of mare, we were being hunted by no other than our coffee loving, plant controlling, Vinetion Lutin, and we were so bucking close to the field.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! C'MON GUYS! DON'T LET HER CATCH YOU!" I laughed maniacally as I was in front of the group, and yet to more of my surprise, so was Legit and Dark.

"She's never gonna catch us now!" Dark shouted with a laugh,"I mean, she already got Breeze! What else does she want from us?"

"Ahahaha! I know right?!" Legit too laughed with a bit of over confidence,"Hey Vinetion! Plants are stupid!"

"Legit, please don't piss her off more," I warned.

"Oh c'mon Graze, learn to live a little, let him have his fun. Don't be a killjoy now,"Dark advised and then looked back,"YEAH! What can plants do to us huh?"

[HEY! You can't use that word! Only Joy and I can use that word! Right!?]

I gave a slight chuckle hearing my two consciences rant, but as quickly as it came, my face turned to horror as I saw two lasso like vines roped around both Dark and Legit, forcefully yanking them back into the air.''GET OVER HERE!''Vinetion shouted with a deeper voice. All that was heard, were two shouts from tortured souls.

*KA-BOOM*...... Oh buck, may Celestia have mercy on my soul.

[SERVES THEM RIGHT!]

"RUUNNNNNN!!" Shot shouted quickly passing me, exiting the school and now entering the stadium grounds.

"OH FUCK! WHERE IS SHE?!" Grim said actually scared of Vinetion," FUCKING TARTARUS GRAZE! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BOOP HER?!"

" I DON'T KNOW MAN! IT SOUNDED LIKE A PRETTY FRICKING GOOD IDEA AT THAT TIME!" I shouted a reply.

"I DON'T WANNA DIE!" Ice shouted for his life surpassing me.

"I'm not the one to curse, but, BUCK THIS SHIT! I'M OUT!" Aroma said teleporting away from the scene.

"Yeah! Me too!" Light said preparing his transportation spell.

"NO! WE ARE BROS AND WE ARE GOING DOWN LIKE BROS!" I shouted to him as we both entered the field seeing Shot, Ice and Grim patiently awaiting their death. We joined beside our remaining brothers as we stared intensely at the entrance to the school awaiting Vinetion. "C'mon guys! We need to keep moving, you actually think I want to bucking die?!"

"Well, maybe our training today could be survival, so I say we run," Crackshot said taking the easy way out, knowing and actually learning from past experience that nothing could stop Vinetion.

"I say we fight! If we run she is going to pick us off one by o--" Ice's speech stopped midway as a vine wrapped around his neck bringing him into the darkness of the entrance, only to come back out with mighty slam against the walls of the stadium. He tried standing back upon his legs as he said weakly," Guys, I think she just Equestrian kicked me."

[FIGHT! Oh buck! GRAZE TURN AROUND!]

Our attention quickly distracted by Ice, I turned around hearing a gallop only to see Vinetion one metre away. I quickly threw out a hoof to push her away, which she simply grabbed pulling me in as she bucked me with her forehoof sending me flying into Grim's chest. He stood on his hindlegs while using his fore to grip onto his neck as if trying to regain control of his shortened breaths. Vinetion took this moment.....No, she abused this moment as she bucked him straight in his family jewels, putting him into a daze of seeing life and death momentarily.

With both of us wondering what the actual fuck was happening, she tackled us head on, pitching us both into a pyramid like structure of cylindrical coolers neatly stacked upon one another.

"Ice! We got to help them! Do you still have that sword you used on me?" Light questioned the blue pony.

"Dude, isn't that a bit too much?" Ice questioned him actually worried about safety.

"It's Vine, she is going to murder you with it anyways. And, it's ice, just dull the end." Ice shrugged hearing the logic behind Light as he stomped his hoof, making that same fencing sword not seen since bucking ages ago, appear before us," Still know how to use it?"

"Pftch, dude, it's a sword, what's so hard about swish swish slash?"

[Graze, we are getting our asses kicked!] Kill exclaimed [ We need to fight back!]

*POW* I was knocked directly in the face by a cooler making me hallucinate stars and three pony lookalikes as they formed tiny circles around my head.

<GRAZE! IT'S US!> Joy informed me as it all made sense once I seeing Grace properly distinguishing from the two.

[GET THE BUCK UP!]

Following Kill's demands, I placed a steady hoof on the floor with another rubbing against the ache which could have only been caused by a cooler to the head.''Oh fuck me inverted,'' I cursed myself being roped in again by Vine as she too had pulled Grim. Before slamming us into one another, at the very last second I shouted,"WAIT!" She furrowed an eye brow interest as she looked at me allowing me to speak," Why are you only picking one Grim and I?"

"Because you booped me and Grim is an ass," she answered as if she knew what exactly what she was going to say from the beginning.

"Seems legit," I shrugged," continue."

*BAM* Grim's head slammed into mine followed by a quick kick, left and right, both Grim and I were hit as she made a quick pivot, bucking me in the face. Now, it was Grim alone, yay me.

Futile enough was the attempt to punch Vine as she quickly ducked under Grim's hoof, hitting him three times left and right progressing to his head, where she too had hoofed, knocking it back down to see the ground where a knee came into sight, using so much force which temporarily lifted his body into the air as she bucked him straight in the nuts and into a wall.....I swore I saw him cough up some kind of blood from that last nut shot. No no, he didn't cough blood from every other hit, but the nut shot was so intense, he had to cough up something.

"HEY SWEET CHEEKS!" Ice called out throwing a snow ball to grab her attention," STEP AWAY FROM THE ASSWIPES!"

Ice pulled out his fencing sword as both slowly approached one another in silence, forming a circle to show not to cross those lines.

"DON'T WORRY ICE! HERE COMES BACK UP!" Light exclaimed charging behind Vine with a head on tackle. Simply side stepping, she quickly wrapped a vine around Light using his momentum against him and threw his body against Ice, sending the two other ponies by Shot, Grim and myself who might I add, were still trying to recover from the senseless beating.

"I fucking blame Graze," Grim placed the weight of the entire situation upon my shoulders.

"Yeah Graze, what do we do?" Light asked curiously.

"I don't know man, I never hit a mare before in my life," I responded.

"I can see that! Try harder!" Shot advised.

[That's what she said]

All five of us on our legs now, we prepared once more for Vine to beat the living shit out of us. Five versus one, we could win, right? To answer that question, I was horribly horribly wrong as Vine stomped her hoof bringing out a wooden staff from the roots of the earth. This was unfair and bullshit! She didn't even have the damned thing in her mouth, she was using a flipping vine to control it!

Walking slowly towards us, Vinetion approached with her bow staff as she soon escalated into a head on charge. 'Get ready Grim,'he mentally prepared himself. And here she comes!

Grim quickly made a mad dash wanting to grab the staff but in such little time to react, she swiped him off his hooves with the same staff as it quickly made a 360 degree turn only to hit Ice's left cheek sending him flying as the wooden weapon broke on contact. With now two pieces of weaponry or might I properly name them as kali sticks, she bucked Shot into a wall who rebounded back towards her only to get hit struck again by such force of wood and raw power.

Wanting to make another body tackle at Vine, Light was quickly tomohawk'd  with one kali stick."And then there was one," she said quietly under her breath approaching me patting the lone kali stick upon her hoof repeatedly. I actually walked back afraid knowing I couldn't do anything and clumsily tripped....No, she placed that there! I tripped over a root! Oh fuck Vine!

In perfect position to assault she told me one thing," You know Graze, I've never been interested in golf until now." And with a hoof swinging back, I prayed to Celestia for a miracle as I closed my eyes.

"GRAZE!" I heard a voice call my name. Not a call, it was more of a shout thus opening my eyes wanting to find out who had shouted my name.

"Ditzy?" I said confused and silently cursed so she won't have heard," Oh fuck she's pissed off."

Knowing one's marefriend is very important as to know when you are in the zone or in fucking hell, simple as that.

"What the buck is this Graze?!" she shouted to me as I arrived to her spot being the entrance. I opened my mouth to respond only to be quickly hushed," And don't you dare lie to me!"

Under my breath, I spoke a few words, unsure of what she might say but was definite of the outcome."We're practicing."

"Practicing? Practicing for what?! Honestly Graze, all you do is fight and get yourself injured making me worry over you!" She shouted with a slight choke in her voice," You think I like to see my coltfriend almost killed? Not only once! But twice?! And now you're in this again! What can you possibly be fighting against!"

" Shadow."

"Oh great! Again! What a surprise!" She exclaimed sarcastically.

"It's not the same Ditzy!" I shouted with a stomp of a hoof making her flinch," He is stronger and you don't see what he can do!"

"I don't give a buck of what he can do Graze! I don't want to see you get hurt!"

"If I don't do this, he is going to kill everyone including you! Why do you think I am doing this?! I have only tred to protect you since day one we have met!" I said with honesty," Can't you see I'm doing this for you as well?"

"If I'm the reason you fight for, and if I'm the reason you get killed," she paused holding back a few tears," and if it's the only thing that I can do to stop you, it's over," she said with her final words leaving the stadium. One tear from each of us dropped to the floor, one saying words which needed to be said and the other being the receiver of such harshness.

"Bright Eyes," I called out with a hoof touching her shoulder.

"DON'T 'BRIGHT EYES' ME GRAZE! IF YOU WANT TO GET YOURSELF KILLED, THEN FINE! DO IT FOR THE SCHOOL! DO IT FOR THE PONIES! DO IT FOR THE WHOLE BUCKING EQUESTRIA FOR ALL I CARE!" She shouted now crying her heart out as it soon turned into a silent whisper," Just don't let me be the reason for getting yourself killed, that's too much to handle," she then turned her back on me,"Goodbye Graze and good luck."

With a heavy heart, I wanted to walk forward yet, Kill, Joy and Grace were preventing me from moving. It was only instinct that I had wanted to follow what was meant dear to me, but, I needed more than instinct to make a correct decision.

And that's what I did, I took a deep breath and watched as she left me. I just allowed it to happen as I too made way for the opposite direction.

"Graze, are you alright?" Vinetion being the first to ask.

I ignored and turned to Grim and asked with near to no emotion holding back everything," How ready is the spell?"

"I did it this morning, I can get it ready by tomorrow, but we--"

"Good," I cut his entire speech off as I walked passed every pony on the field.

"You're acting irrational Graze," Light warned of my behavior.

"I've lost everything Light, there is no time for rational behavior. We are ending this here and tomorrow, forget all plans, rest up everypony and warn the others." Trotting slowly behind me, Vine wanted to rest a hoof on my shoulder but I quickly knocked it back as I released my wings in its black flamed tribal state," Do not follow."

With my last words floating in the air as a strict rule, I fled the scene in a flash leaving no time for any pony to catch up.

"Do you think he is going to be alright?" Crackshot asked with curiosity.

Looking at a small wet drip of tear upon the field, Vinetion replied, "He is far from," and thus took flight as well. Next Chapter: Descent Estimated time remaining: 1 Hour, 48 Minutes
