While the creature was unconscious and in Twilight's bed with its tattered clothing back over it, Twilight decided to study it as much as possible. This made no sense to her she has been through all of her books on even the ones on mythology, but nothing explained what it could possibly be. It was already starting to get dark by the time she gave up searching for answers in her books. Twilight decided to just study it the old fashion way, dissection....... (Just kidding) She decided to start off by taking notes on its muscle structure, taking notes on its facial features. She then decided to take note on its oral composition aka the teeth. Using magic to open its mouth to look she noticed the human canine teeth, Twilight let out a loud girly scream. Spike came running into the room.

The scream woke up Kenshin from his deep sleep and as soon as he started to sit up he was pinned to the wall by a unknown force. It didn't feel like hands or a specific point of where his body was being pinned. But, it felt as if his body was being equally pushed back at all points evenly. It was a unexplainable tingling sensation against his body.

"Hello? who's there, Where am I, I mean you no harm."
Twilight scared angry but yet confused.

"Y-Yo-You eat meat!" Twilight accused

"WHAT! we have a pony eating monster in here!!" spike yelled in fright.

Thoroughly confused at what was happening and somewhat scared being called a monster. He was in no condition to protect himself if he was attack. He injured not sure were his katana was and had no sight.

"I assure you I mean you no harm, whatever the problem is we can talk this out peacefully and maturely? You have bandaged me up and saved my life, Can you please release from whatever your doing to me?" Kenshin asked politely.

"B-B-But YOUR A CARNIVORE I SAW YOUR FRONT TEETH! If I release you how do I know your not going to try to eat me when you get hungry?"

"Im sorry miss, but I never did quite catch your name?"

"My name is Twilight Sparkle"

"Well Miss Twilight, I am sorry if I scared you. I hardly eat meat, I can live without it. I usually just eat vegetables and fruit" Kenshin said opening his mouth to show his molars.

Twilight visibly relaxed after she heard Kenshin hardly ate meat and could live without it. she just noticed Kenshin had his eyes closed even though he was sitting up in bed and facing her direction. She took notice of his elegant long red hair that was not bound up was running down his back. The cross shaped scar on his cheek and so many other scars she had seen on his body. Lowering her magic she released her magic hold on him.

"So your an omnivore then?"

"Twilight, What are you doing HE EATS MEAT! WE NEED TO PUT HIM IN A DUNGEON!" Spiked panicked to twilight

"Spike relax, I can handle myself"

"Anyway, What's your name seeing as I can't just keep calling you the creature."

'The creature, alright so they are the same species as me. Very unsettling. They don't seem like a violent bunch seeing as she saved me and only held me against the bed instead of attacking me. If they wanted to kill me I would be dead right now.' Kenshin internally spoke to himself.

"My name is Kenshin Himura, please just call me Kenshin."

"Alright Kenshin, What are you and why do you keep your eyes closed?"

"I'm a human, my vision was taking from me in a fight I lost."
An awkward silence filled the air, until a certain dragon broke the silence. "How do we know your not lying to us? spiked accused pointing a claw at him.

"What reason would I have to lie?"

"Well, I guess you make a fair point." Spike reasoned.

"Well seeing as I am blind would you mind, telling me what type of creature you are"

"I'm Spike, and I'm a dragon!" Spiked huffed proudly with his chest pushed out.
Kenshin then let out a quite chuckle.

"WHAT IS SO FUNNY!" Spike demanded walking close to kenshin.

"Sorry, it's just dragons are sacred mythical beasts from my land. I have trouble believing one can be as small as you."

"Well he is just a baby dragon after all" Twilight interrupted before Spike could get another word out.

"Be that as it may, but you aren't a dragon are you? You stand on four legs which is quite odd." Kenshin replied to twilight.

"How did you that I wasn't a dragon also and I stood on four legs?" Twilight asked quite curious.

"I find myself listening more then I did before, I hear everything more clearly then I did before. I could hear you walk and the way you breathe suggests you are a different species then your friend next to you."

"Interesting" Twilight mumbled.

"OHHHH he's up!" said Rainbow Dash as she walked into the room.

"Just get done with work Rainbow? I'm surprised you aren't napping." Spike replied to Rainbow Dash as she walked into the room.

"Well, I would be napping but meeting this thing is just so much cooler. Plus, after I got done with work I did promise twilight to help keep an eye on him." Rainbow retorted.

"Hello, there Rainbow" Said Kenshin in a friendly voice.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!" Dash yelled flying up in kenshins face, snout to nose.

'Wait, she is furry? What kind of creature am I talking to? A creature with four legs that is furry? She isn't on the bed and from the air pressure i am feeling on me she must be hovering in my face. what strange powers do these creatures have? Probably weighs around 50 to 120 pounds. Its like a large dog, or similar creature.' Kenshin thought trying to piece it all together.

"Spike just said your name. I am sorry if I have offended you, that was not my intent." Kenshin replied quite caught off guard at the physical contact.

"Ohh.. Well... Don't you try anything funny mister! Names Rainbow Dash. What is your name? What are you? Why were you wounded? What are you planning? ARE YOU A SPY?!" Rainbow fumed pressing his snout harder into Kenshins face.

"Rainbow calm down he has been through alot. Just let me ask the questions for now."

"Fine egghead ill ask my questions later. Defeated Rainbow flew back over and stood next to twilight by the door entrance.

"I'm sorry about of zealousness Kenshin, I'm sorry to hear about you losing your sight." A loud gasp could be heard coming from Rainbow Dash. Twilight ignoring this continued on, "As to your earlier question, your right I am not a dragon, I am a pony."

"How did you hold me down to the bed and how was Miss Dash flying?" Kenshin asked quite confused as to how pony's could talk and fly.

"Well I'm a unicorn and I kind of used magic to pin you down." Twilight said looking around a little sheepishly. "As for Rainbow she is a Pegasus."

"How'd you know I was flying just now? A ha! I knew you were lying about being blind. Trying to get us to pity you is that it? What are you planning!" Rainbow Dash said poking him in the chest.
Kenshin opened his eyes, it could be seen that there was a certain emptiness in them. He looked so young but, his eyes looked like they have seen much pain in his life time. Rainbow looked into his eyes and could see for herself that he indeed was not lying about this ailment.

"I am not planning anything Miss Dash. Please do not poke me my chest as it is still in pain." Kenshin politely said to rainbow dash who was now feeling guilty over her treatment of him.

"Listen I'm sorry for accusing you, I didn't mean to hurt you. I was just trying to protect my friends." Rainbow dash sincerely apologized to Kenshin.

"Wow, rainbow dash apologizing I thought I would ever live to see this day." Spike wittedly remarked to twilight.

"Spike!"

"Yesh! I get it Twilight! Sorry Dash. No need to yell in my ear twilight."

"So, I have another question for you Twilight. Ponies do not normally talk from where I am from. Neither do we have magic, or even flying ponies. Could you please tell me where I am? Last I remember I was falling down a cliff." Kenshin asked quite overwhelmed, and still processing all this information.

"Sure, Kenshin" Twilight smiled. " You are in the land of equestria. Co-ruled by the two princesses Celestia the ruler of the sun and Luna the bringer of the night." Twilight then went on to explain all about the history, about how Celestia raises the sun and Luna brings the night. She explained there society about the different types of ponies, cutie marks, how she was Celestia's personal student. She even explained how she sent a letter to her mentor asking if she knew anything about the kind of creature he was, and also how he was the keep her updated. She even explained how she found Kenshin just lying in the park injured.

"But, if you don't mind me asking how are you speaking equestrian Kenshin?"

"I am not speaking equestrian, I am speaking Japanese."
Processing this new information. Twilight decided to study the strange phenomenon later.

"If you don't mind me asking Miss Twilight what happened to my sword?"

"Why do you want your sword?" Rainbow butted in, sounding more curious then accusing.

"It lets me protect those, I care about. It's a reverse blade sword which cannot cut. I've already given my word I mean you no harm. I would just like it back." Kenshin replied politely to Rainbow Dash's outburst.

"Well, I've judged you not to be a threat. But, tell me what is a reverse blade sword. what is a sword. It looks like a skinny long cooking knife, I've never seen a weapon like it before." Twilight asked quite curious.
Well its true, they knew what a weapon was. But, in Equestria with no war and a drastically lower violence rate then in our world the only weapons they had where dual purpose. By this I mean, weapons they used were pitch forks, pick axes, cooking knives, and even shovels were used. They knew the word weapon, but they had never created weapons with the base purpose for just killing.

"My weapon is katana, its purpose is to kill." Kenshin said in a serious tone. A pen dropping could be heard in the room it was so deadly silent. "My weapon is the reverse blade katana, has a blunt edge instead of it being sharp so I do not kill my enemy. I only wish to protect those who are in need of protection."

*GRROOOOOOOWwwwwlllll* Kenshins stomach roared with hungry defiance.

"Well it seems all this talk has made me hungry." Kenshin said nervously chuckling trying to lighten up the mood.

"You need to stay in bed for the time being kenshin, we will talk more later, I will bring your sword up to you seeing it can't cut, and your in no shape to harm anyone anyway. I trust you Kenshin please do not break my trust.

"I promise you Miss Twilight I won't let you down. "

"Twilight are you serious about letting him arm himself?!" Spiked wined

"Yeah, twilight that can't be a good idea." Rainbow agreed.

"I can always take his sword away from him with magic if it gets to that point, I trust Kenshin he seems like a good fellow."

"But, how can you trust him you've only just met him" Spike complained

"I don't know, I just see something in him." Twilight replied.

' I may be blind but I am not deaf. Rainbow and Spike do make a valid point. I'm happy I ran into such kind creatures. This could have turned out much worse, that it could have. ' Kenshin thought.

"Kenshin how would you like some apples and some apple juice?"

"That sounds delightful, Thank you for your hospitality Twilight."

"Hey rainbow you can go home, I think me and Spike can handle it from here. Thank you for all the help."

"No problem Twilight. Time I get back to napping anyway. Bye Kenshin I'll see you tomorrow!" Rainbow waved leaving the room through a window.

Twilight returned upstairs to see that Kenshin had fallen asleep. Smiling she set a bucket of apples on the counter next to him and the drinks also she placed the sword leaning against the counter. Snuggling up next to him, she got comfortable under the covers. Since the guest mattress was ruined she would just have to sleep next to him. 'He isn't even the same species, doesn't matter if I sleep next to him.' They had so much to talk about tomorrow and they had just scratched the surface. Twilight didn't know why she felt like she could trust him so much, but it just felt right. Even when she heard the unsettling news he was carrying a blunt version of a weapon for murder, when she heard it was to protect she believed him. She had just sent a letter to Celestia over everything they replied in thier conversation, and she would wait till tomorrow until she told Kenshin the news.
