(Author Notes: Story takes place right after Kenshin Himura VS Shougo Amakusa when kenshin loses, Haven't watched the series in many years so let me know if I get something wrong please. Also I'm unsure whether to continue this story or not please let me know, its hard writing about a character who's personality you have trouble remembering. Also this is right after he is made blind in his battle also when you hear Kenshin speak I always picture the original Japanese voice they had for him.)

The night was freezing, as the night sky failed to warm the souls of the living. The storm was not adding any effect to Kenshin's mood, or the sounds of the sea destroying rocks below. 'I'm sorry miss Kaoru, I have failed.' Were his last thoughts as the darkness seeped over his mind as he fell off the ledge of the cliff.

Kenshin slowly awoke to the sounds of people talking over him. "What do you think it is!" said a brash female voice. Curious to being called an it, he decided to remain silent to judge his current situation. Thinking over the past events in his head, he sincerely hoped his body wasn't mutilated after the fall. As he lay in the grass listening to the wind blow melancholy over the grass, he thought of his past battle with Shougo. His clothing was cut and shredded barley holding together sticking to him from his own perspiration. The beautiful pink which was his original shirt color was dyed red with much of his own blood. His breath was labored from the pain he was in each breath starting to get harder then the next. His consciousness was starting to wane in and out.

"That doesn't matter right now.... I mean.. ummm.... not that what you said isn't important or anything but, the poor dear is bleeding and needs help. We must simply get him patched up right away!" replied a beautifully timid voice.

"Fluttershy dear, what if this thing tries to hurt you afterwards! We all saw the weapon that thing was carrying." Cried a third unknown voice belonging to a certain fashionista pony.

Kenshin deciding enough was enough decided to speak up, " I will not harm you, I only use my sword to protect the weak. Also, it is a reverse blade it cannot cut."

"It speaks Equestrian?!" Cried out five voices in unison. 'Equestrian? I must be hearing things. Im so tired..' Battered and beaten, Kenshin's tired body finally gave way yet again to the sweet embrace of unconsciousness.

"I'm going to take him to my cottage he needs medical attention. STAT", said Fluttershy while turning her head as if some imaginary camera were to be zooming in on her while she said 'STAT'.

"No, Fluttershy this thing is dangerous I don't care what it said! IT still could hurt you." Responded Rainbow Dash while poking Fluttershy in the chest to emphasis her point.

"Rainbow Dash has ah point sugercube, it looks mighty dangerous if ya ask me."

"Well AJ, Princess Celestia wouldn't want us to let some unknown creature to bleed out in the park for fear of what it could do. Besides it's hurt and if it does try something there are more of us then there are of..... of...... it." Said Twilight trailing off confused to what gender or thing it could possibly be.

"Well do you think it's a he or a she? Wait a second, where did Fluttershy go?" The remaining ponies looked around in bewildered confusion.

"Ohhh... She's goooood! I guess hide and seek has started. Applejack your it!" Yelled a certain hyperactive pink earth pony, while she bounced and crouched behind Rarity.

Rarity not in the mood for this simply took a step to the side where Pinkie Pie just mysteriously vanished. Several jaws could be heard hitting the ground, "How did Pinkie, do that!" gaped Twilight. 'no, no, no. This is a slippery slope, she is Pinkie Pie enough said.'

"Pinkie come out this is no times for games." Yelled an irritated Twilight.

"Okie dokie lokie" said Pinkie appearing on top of Twilights head.

"By the way Fluttershy is on her way back she should be back from her cottage in another minute or so."

"Am not gonna ask how ya know that sweet pea, but do ya know why she disappeared without saying anything to us?" said a certain orange hayseed.

"Yeps!" Pinkie replied, while keeping quite and not explaining. Getting the attention and irritated glares from the entire group.

"Well Pinkie Dear, would you please explain to why Fluttershy left, why we have to ask this a second time I simply cannot fathom."

"Silly Filly, Rarity Wearity." Giggled Pinkie Pie, " AJ asked me if I knew, and I did know, she never asked to explain it. If you wanted to know you could have just asked. Well, I guess you did ask seeing as you just asked. But, if you can go back in time and as.."

"PIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKIIIIEEEE" yelled the exasperated group in unison breaking pinkie off in mid sentence.

"Yes girls?" Pinkie smiled while blinking innocently at the group.

"Just please tell us already!" Twilight hollered at Pinkie.

"Well I could now, but wouldn't it be super duper more exciting to see for yourself?"

"What do yah mean, pinkie?" butted in AppleJack while taking a step closer to her.

"Well just turn around and look at the funny wunny creature" said Pinkie, while yet again breaking the laws of physics and somehow hanging upside down on nothing before falling on her back.

All of the ponies with the exception of Pinkie were facing away from the mysterious creature, to look at Pinkie. Noting what pinkie said, the girls turned around to see that Fluttershy was stitching together the more ghastly cuts on Kenshin. Taking a closer look at his body in the bright summer day, they noted the jagged deep cuts on his body. The cuts were still oozing fresh blood which would just seem to refuse to close. Noticing the bleeding she bandaged up the wounds and start applying pressure. Thankfully he was unconscious or Kenshin would be in maddeningly unimaginable pain.

Somehow, in the time they were talking to Pinkie, Fluttershy had managed to retrieve her first aid supplies and kit from her home and was in the process of bandaging up the mystery creature. Somehow she managed to strip him of his clothing leaving him in nothing but his undergarments. She briefly considered stripping them also in case there were more injuries under there, but wisely decided to not do so.

"Hey, Fluttershy. Why didn't you tell us you needed supplies from your house? I could of did it in ten seconds flat." Said a boastful Rainbow Dash.

"Well, You really wouldn't know which medicines and tools I would have needed not that you couldn't get it if I gave you a description or something. I just couldn't stand the sight of him being hurt and acted as fast as possible to help him."

"Why didn't we just bring him to your cottage instead and save you the energy." Rainbow Dash replied to Fluttershy noticing her deep breathing from her exhaustion.

"Wait a second a him? How do you know this thing is a him? This is the first time any of us has ever have encountered this type of creature." Butted in Twilight.

Still working on Kenshin and bandaging him up. Fluttershy started blushing madly while continuing her work, "Well I when I was undressing him I noticed that he had a bulge in his underwear so could only assume it was his stallion hood."

"Suger Cube, You're gonna need to speak up so we can understand yah." AJ Retorted.

Same as last time Fluttershy was unable to be heard. Rainbow Dash knowing her oldest friend well, had expected as much and had put her ear right next to Fluttershy. Realizing what she had said, Rainbow Dash broke out into unrivaled laughter. Pinkie always one to enjoy laughter landed right next to Rainbow Dash. It was a frivolous sight with Pinkie Pie snorting with laughter right next none other then Rainbow Dash who was in the process of gasping for air while she clutched her tummy rolling around in the grass.

"Pinkie you heard what she said also?" asked Rainbow Dash.

"No, I just like laughing" Smiled pinkie.

"Rainbow Dash just tell us how she knew? Was it because the creatures voice?" Twilight asked?

"No, egghead" Rainbow Dash replied still rolling around laughing.

"There is no reason to call me an egghead Rainbow, please just be serious for a minute and stop rolling around laughing!" Twilight fumed

At this point in time Fluttershy was so embarrassed she had decided to ignore Rainbow and the conversation and continued to help the creature, flipping it over she carefully inspected for any more wounds. Curiosity filled her mind as she began to ponder what kind of big dumb meanie would possibly hurt another creature to this extent. Starting to settle down Rainbow Dash stood up a while stifling her adorable girly giggles.

"Fluttershy noticed a bulge on where his stallion hood would be while checking him out if you know what I mean." Rainbow Dash simply stated before starting to roll over on the ground and proceeded to laugh again.

"Rainbow it wasn't like that! I had to undress him to check on his wounds."

"I know, I know I'm sorry Fluttershy I shouldn't be laughing. But, you have to admit the situation is kind of funny."
While the rest of the group tried there best to not laugh at Fluttershy's expense. Some having more control then others. Fluttershy continued to inspect the back of Kenshin's body for wounds.

"I am positively sorry Fluttershy dear, it was wrong of me to laugh at a friend." The marsh mellow said.

"Ahm, ashamed of myself that's no way to treat a friend. Ahm sorry Fluttershy." Apple said turning to look at Fluttershy while taking her hat off and looking at the ground positively ashamed.

"I am sorry to Fluttershy, I never meant to hurt your feelings. I should only giggle at the ghosties and not at friends, I should only laugh with friends." Said a down cast Pinkie while her mane appeared to lose some of its poofiness.

"It's alright Rainbow, I can understand why you and girls think it's funny and I forgive you. I've worked with animals for a long time and I can usually tell the genders apart immediately. It's voice didn't sound all to masculine and he sounded young also, so it was hard to tell. I never met anything like it so its hard to tell I was only checking for wounds." Fluttershy said while blushing.

"Were you sure that was the only motive you had for undressing him?" Asked Rainbow dash giggling.

"OWWW" Yelped Rainbow dash as AJ smacked her with a hoof upside the head.

"Sorry again, I just can't help myself."

"Its Alright Rainbow, your only being you, and I like you for being youself."

"Thanks Fluttershy, it won't happen again. For now at least."

"OWWWWWW AJ STOP IT!" Rainbow yelped again as AJ proceeded to hit her for the second time.

"So Fluttershy, why didn't we just take him to your cottage to bandage him up instead of doing it out here?" Asked Rainbow

"Well, I was afraid that if we would have tried to move him his wounds would have opened up even wider and some of his wounds that have closed already would have reopened and put him in considerable pain. Also, I didn't know the extent of his injuries so I wouldn't want to risk him to bleed out while trying to move him."

"Wow I'm surprised you took action so fast and had this much thought process in it. While you getting supplies I was almost trying to figure out pinkie again instead of paying attention to the creature." Said Twilight.

"Twilight you really shouldn't try to do that. You remember what happened last time don't you?" Inputted Rarity.

"I know, I know Rarity. Well anyway we need to think of a plan. The closest place is my library so lets move him there. I need to send Princess Celestia a note on this. Rainbow I'm going to need you to stay at my place in case he wakes up, the more eyes watching him the better. AJ if you could drop off some apples for us to eat and some for him when he wakes up I'd really appreciate it. I can pay for the apples with my bits. Alright any questions?" twilight stated.
