Chapter 19: Ermergerd Journal
Previous Chapter Next ChapterIf Dash was back in the room by now... She better be. It was midnight and you put away the book you were reading, under your pillow. There were probably only two books in the room, one's a Daring Do book and one's Opposite Notes. Of course, you liked to read but didn't read that much... Dash likes to read no matter how much she denies it. You looked over to Dash's bed, and saw something blue sticking out from under the pillow. Three books, actually...
You sloppily rolled out of bed, the floor slapping your face, and crawled onto Dash's bed. After your triumph, you realized the book had a lock and you threw it across the room. The lock broke because it was fragile, and shattered like glass onto the floor below. Your frown grew into a mile-wide smile and you lunged at the book as it was falling, forgetting the blanket that was wrapped around your legs. In mid-air, the blanket decided to wrap around your head to blind you for the time being, and you went head-first into the wall with the book clutched tightly to your chest. You slid down the wall, your head below your feet, and rose your arms up to the air in victory... Then the book started teetering off your palms, and jumped off. Back to Dash's bed. The blanket around your head was ripped off and you got up in defeat, just picking up the book like a normal person. Being normal is hard.
The book in your hands was now millions of shining grenades, as you drooled at your prize. You looked back and forth quickly before you flipped the cover open. As you opened up the cover, it fell off. Shrugging, you read the first sentence that had the words 'What you see in here is a complete secret. FOREVER', and then a picture of Pinkie Pie shouting. After you pondered on rather to read it or not, two little figures appeared on your shoulders. One was a pony, the other a dragon, lion, falcon hybrid thingy. The pony was a very, very light pink mare with wings and a horn, her mane and tail flowing much like Principal Celestia's.
"Oh hello, I see this book is important, is it not?" The hybrid monster said.
"Discord."
"Tia."
"That name is reserved for loved ones, not you." The pony kept a straight and serious face.
"And this book here," He started flying around your neck, reaching the 'Tia' character, "Is reserved for one person, hm?"
"Indeed. And I trust that he," Tia pointed a hoof at your ear, "Knows that."
"No, actually... I have no frickin' clue what this book is." You stared at the book.
"It's Dash's journal, fool." 'Discord' poked the page, flipping it up a bit.
"It is the correct thing to do, do not look in it." Tia was damn serious.
"Look in it."
"Do not look in it."
"In it look!" Discord flew over to Tia and pet her flowing mane, purring.
"Disgusting." She said as you flipped the page, revealing stuff that you have no clue what it is.
The two figures disappeared into thin air and left you with the book, which was full of drawings and words. The one drawing that made you pay attention to it had writing with blue pen and pink pen, the pink was dotted with balloons and had swirlies. Above the writing was the actual picture. You constantly looked between the picture and the writing.
Pinkie drew a picture of me as a pony... Oh joy.
I think it's adorable!
The next page was just writing, full of secrets. It was first about how Fluttershy and Dash first met, and how Fluttershy finally worked up the courage to ask Dash out. They dated and then it got graphic. It kind of described their first time together in bed. You skimmed that part for the sake of your brain and other things. The break up was something you wanted to read, though.
It was depressing when Flutters and I broke up... It's something you wouldn't expect from her at all. She cheated on me. Yes, cheated. With a boy. I caught them kissing in the middle of the basketball court. I confronted her in the middle of the kiss by separating them and kicking the boy in the nuts. Then I yelled at him and gave Flutters a dirty look as I ran away. I steered away from her for the rest of the year, but then we decided to become best friends. She got jealous when I asked Pinkie out, though. So she ignored me until Pinkie broke up with me because I was too controlling. I took a break with the dating for about a year... Just because.
The door swung open and Dash stumbled in, Pinkie following her while giggling. Dash kept tripping over her own feet, falling to the ground and attempting to get up.
"Had the awesomest time ever Pinkie, return my bra tomorrow." Dash slurred, sloppily kissing Pinkie on the cheek.
"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie returned the kiss and looked at you, her eyes widening. She mouthed the word 'forever' and eyed the journal. Dash fell over again so Pinkie helped her up and pushed her onto her own bed, snatching the book out of your hands and stuffing it under the pillow.
"This book is Dashie's secret, meant to be hers and mine. You better not reveal it." Pinkie whispered to you after Dash fell asleep almost instantly.
"I promise..." You murmured, scared.
"Pinkie promise?"
"Sure?"
"Cross your heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in your eye?" She did weird actions with her hands, then put them back on her beautiful hips.
"...Sure?"
"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie shouted as she hopped off, breaking her seriousness. Dash twitched at Pinkie's outburst, but was still asleep. Pinkie's really curvy, how have I not noticed that before.
Pinkie was about to close the door when Octavia appeared in silk pajamas, her hair messed up and for once... Without a bowtie. She pointed down to her room and shouted as loud as she could, burning your ears.
"I KNOW WHO WROTE THE BOOK!"
