Derpy stood at her usual mail station awaiting the outgoing mail to be prepared for delivery.
Derpy remained in her place for twenty minutes before deciding to see what the hold up was.
She went into the sorting room and began looking.
All the other pegasus' mail was gone, including hers.
"Not today, please not today."
Derpy thought to herself.
She then heard some snickering coming from the next room.
She went and opened the door.
Inside were 3 pegasus laughing and snickering, one of the holding Derpy's pile of mail.
It was, Sunset Breeze, Snow Dancer and Fire Log.
They were more pegasus that had builled Derpy.
They often pulled jokes and pranks on her.
Derpy gave them a dark steely stare before snatching the mail from Snow Dancer's hooves.
"Lighten up Derpy, but don't crash while you try." Sunset Breeze said.
The 3 pegasus started sickering again.
Derpy let out an angry grunt before turning to the door.
As she left the 3 pegasus continued snickering at her.

Derpy went to the main door and put the mail in her carrier bag before preparing to leave.
She extended her grey feathered wings and began flapping.
She slowly lifted herself into the air and began flying.
Whilst in mid air she proceded to take out a small brown parcel.
Its adress read.

34 Sweet Street,
Ponyville,
Equestria,

Derpy had never heard of Sweet Street before but began her search for a sign that pointed
in the correct direction.
Fifteen minutes passed and yet no luck finding any trace of the street.
She flew down to ground level and began asking.
No pony had heard of Sweet street either.
Derpy's anger began to raise, she knew if she did not complete today's deliverys she would
have no job to go back to.
An hour had passed before she returned to the post office, she was about to return the parcel
back to the sender before yet again, that laughing and snickering reverberated in her ears.
She had quickly grasped what had happened, yet another trick had been played on her.

She was about to approach the 3 pegasus who were giggling and laughing, but soon her attention
was quickly taken by her boss.
Lickity Split was standing just outside his office staring at Derpy.
"So, did you make the deliverys?"He questioned.
Derpy was about to reply but was rudely interrupted by Fire Log, who stood there holding the
real mail Derpy was supposed to the deliver.
"No, sir, she was too lazy to even collect her mail, look I have it here."
She handed Lickity the mail and smirked at Derpy.

It was then, something happened deep in Derpy's phsyche, something snapped.
Her moral boundries were gone, her emotions now began to take hold.
She felt herself go through a metamorphsis from the care-free, happy pegasus she normally was,
into a hatred fuelled, pegasus who had vengeance on her mind.

While all this was happening inside Derpy, Lickity Split was shouting at her, but yet she
did not notice, too envoloped in her own mind.
Without haste she turned and walked slowly towards the door.
"Where do you think you are going?!"
lickity yelled at Derpy.
Derpy once again ignoring him began flapping her wings before flying into the air and leaving
the post office.
