At the Master Emerald's shrine, Sonic, Knuckles, Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow, Tempest and Shadow are busy dodging large crystal shards that are being fired at them by Master Overlord.

"Well on the plus side- he's not his super state anymore," Applejack said.

"Now he's a goddamn robo-dragon with Sonic and Shadow's power and Twilight's magic!" Rainbow reminded. "Any got idea?"

"Well, Blaze told me the Sol Emeralds are gone," Knuckles told her. "We can't use Burning Blaze."

"And we don't have the Chaos Emerald on us no super Sonic!" Sonic mentioned.

"And the gems of Harmony are in Canterlot Castle locked after Scarlet try to use them," Twilight said. "But I've got a plan!"

"I will realize Lord Eggman's dream of Global Empire!" Master Overlord exclaimed. "And can't do anything to stop me!"

He grab them all and headed to the Resistance Airship.

"Is this being on him part it?" Rainbow asked her.

"It is now!" Twilight agreed. "All we need to do is to rip the source right out of his chest. Remove the Master Emerald, we save Angel Island and Master Overload is taking straight to the Calvary!"

"Nice and simple-I like it!" Knuckles agreed with her. "Me and AJ will get the Master Emerald! The rest of you keep that Metal Head busy!"

"Cool!" Sonic agreed, "Shadow we need to bust the wings up and drive him down to the island! Close the gap!"

"Understood!" Shadow replied.

In the captain's room on the Egg Fleet battleship

"Uh... Tails?" Vector asked him. "The Giant Robo-Dragon is heading for us!"

"No, we're heaing right for him!" Tails replied.

"Sonic need our help! And if don't act now, Angel Island will fall! Tell Amy to get everyone on deck! I'll get close as I can!"

"Man. I hope we're getting hazard pay for this..."

Tails then begins to shoot at Metal Overlord with the battleship. Knuckles glides towards the robot's torso while telling Amy to help take out Metal Overlord's wings. Sonic and Shadow run up Metal Overlord's body towards his left and right wings respectively.

Elsewhere, in the Final Egg Rough and Tumble have restrained a protesting Eggman.

"Boss, are your sure that this is Eggman?" Tumble asked.

"Trust me," A scientist named Dr. Starline along with Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow. "That's him."

"What the hell happen to him!?" Chrysalis exclaimed,

"It's would that Eggman been conked on the head one too many times," Cozy Glow pointed out. "I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG ALONG WITH THOSE PONIES!"

"Man, this kid is nuts," Rough exclaimed.

"You have no idea," Chrysalis said in deadpan then turned to Starline. "What's next?"

"Simply my dear," Starline told her. "We going to make him remember everything. Now my good doctor just relax..."

Back at Angel Island, Master Overlord is still trying to bring the Egg Fleet battleship down but Sonic and Rainbow took a shot for the head to stop him for a second.

"With everyone working together this hunk of junk will go down!" Rainbow exclaimed.

"True," Sonic agreed with her. "But he make sure they don't get close! Luckily I have an idea!"

"What is that?" Rainbow asked.

"Simple, do what I do best ticking Metal Sonic off!" Sonic told her. "Yo! Metal! You called me your loathsome copy, but the last time I check hedgehogs did not look like the size of 50 foot dragons and we aren't made of metal or have Master Emerald as a pacemaker and kinda of came first, soooo..."

"I am Sonic perfected!" Metal shot back.

"I am more than ever than will ever be! I am-

"AHHH!" As he met with rocket blast by Whisper's Wispon.

"Nice on, Whisper!' Rainbow praised her. "A+, for dramatic timing!"

"Resistance! Charge!" Amy declare as the Resistance attack, while Knuckles and Applejack worked on prying the Emerald off. Suddenly, Master Overlord shakes the Resistance off, leaving those who are not fliers to free fall.

"I can't carry everyone!" Charmy exclaimed as he holding to Sonic and Apple Bloom.

"Don't worry, " Apple Bloom reassured him. "Sliver's got this handled."

(I've never had to reach so far, in many directions... I can't let them down!) Sliver thought to himself and used his psychokinesis midair. As Silver does his best to concentrate, Master Overlord attempts to attack him. However, he is immediately rammed by the battleship.

"HA! Direct hit!" Tails said being delighted.

"Unworthy child!" Overload shot back.

"Come on. AJ, on three," Knuckles and Applejack prepared to force the large gem out.

"1... 2... 3!"

Both of them slammed the coupling and the Emerald popped out. Knuckles then glides right down to his shrine and places the Master Emerald back on its podium. Angel Island barely touches the ocean and slowly rises back up, much to the relief of a laughing Knuckles. As Silver brings everyone down to the surface, Sonic immediately seeks out the destroyed battleship, worrying for Tails but Tails was already okay and flew towards him.

"Dude! That was amazing!" Sonic exclaimed.

"Thanks!" Tails smiles. "Hopefully I don't want to do that again any time soon..."

"Don't worry about it," Rainbow said to him then looked at the decommissioned Metal Sonic nearby . "I think the fight is over."

"Case closed, gang!" Vector collapsed while Charmy was on top of him.

"Is this what it's like for you guys?" Tangle asked.

"Pretty much," Amy simply said.

"Can we hang out all the time!?" Tangle screamed.

"Sure we can!" Sweetie Belle said then hug her.

"Thanks for joining us," Starlight smile at Whisper.

"Yes, you were excellent," Blaze added.

"Thanks," Whisper thanked them softly.

"That was intense," Sunset exclaimed then saw Shadow walking. "Not even got hang around for the after party? Who I am to judged? See you around."

With the Mane 6...

"Girls, we did pretty good out today," Twilight said.

"Your darn tooting we did!" Applejack exclaimed.

"Yes sirree, We saved Angel Island, stop Metal Sonic, and ol' Eggman is a handyman," Pinkie said then hugged her pony friends.

Meanwhile with Starline and the others...

"The first round is compete... tell me how do you feel Dr. Eggman?" Starline asked.
