"Why the Pokémon are just so adorable," Rarity exclaimed.

"Before, you guys make your decision," Sycamore said. "Here are the Pokédexs one for each of you."

He handed Serena, a red Pokédex, a Pokédex with three bright blue diamonds to Rarity, and one with an apple for Applejack.

"Thanks very much," Applejack then the device turn on. "Great toad! It's on!"

"If you point your Pokédex towards a Pokémon, it'll search for it automatically. " Sycamore explained. "Why give it a try?"

"Okay," Serena agreed they pointed it to Fennekin.

Fennekin, the Fox Pokémon. Fennekin expels hot air that can reach nearly 400 degrees. It likes snacks on twigs.

"Amazing!"

"Let's look at you," Rarity pointed her's at Chespin

Chespin, the Spiny Nut Pokémon. Chespin can flex the soft spikes on its head, making them so stiff and sharp they can even pierce through stone!

"Impressive!"

"Last but not least," Applejack pointed her Pokédex to Froakie.

Froakie, the Bubble Frog Pokémon. From its chest and back, Froakie creates bubbles called Frubbles which act as a cushion and soften the blow of an opponent's attack.

"Wow! That'll come in handy!"

"Like it?" The Professor asked.

"Yes!" All three said.

"Well then go ahead and pick your partner,'"

"Well then who going first?" Applejack asked.

"I'll go," Serena spoke up. "I knew who wanted before I left the house."

Serena walks up to Fennekin and lowers herself to its level.

"Fennekin, I pick you!" She exclaimed. "I'm Serena!"

"Fennek!"

"What about you two?" He asked Rarity and Applejack.

"I'm not sure," Rarity said with unease. "They'll are so cute but I can't decide."

"Me either," Applejack added.

"I've just recently got some starter Pokémon from the other Regions," Sycamore just remembered. "Do want to see them?"

"Of course," Both of them nodded.

"Sunburst," He called for him.

"Coming," He said bringing Treecko, Chimchar, or Totodile with him.

"Wow, aren't you guys are adorable," Rarity said.

"Which one," He asked.

"I'll take Chimchar," Rarity picked the Chimp Pokémon.

"I got Treecko," Applejack picked the Wood Gecko Pokémon.

"There, all done," Bonnie said while cleaning up Pikachu. "You're nice and clean!"

"Pika, Pika!"

"That's awesome, thank you!" Ash thanked her.

"Aw," Bonnie blused a bit. "You don't have to thank me. I love doing this kind of stuff 'cause I love Pokémon."

Bonnie then pet Pikachu's tail making him happy.

"Hey Ash," Bonnie asked him. "Does Pikachu like its petted like that?"

"Yeah, a whole lot!" Ash said.

"What a cutie pie," As Bonnie hugs Pikachu then pets its tail again. "Then just what I'm going to do!"

"Look likes fun, let me try," Fluttershy wanted to pet Pikachu's tail.

"Hey, Jaden," Bonnie asked him. "Can you let Marshtomp out? I wanna take care of it!"

"Okay!" Jaden happily said. "Come on out Marshtomp!"

"Marshtomp!"

"Hey, Marshtomp do you mind if I clean your fins?" Marshtomp asked the Mud Fish Pokémon

"Marsh!"

Then Bonnie cleaned its fins.

"You're good at that, too!" Jaden exclaimed. "Marshtomp just loves having its fins cleaned!"

"Taking care of Pokémon makes you happy, doesn't it?" Twilight asked her.

"Yup!" She agreed.

Then Bonnie gave some Pokémon food for Pikachu and Marshomp.

"Isn't that yummy Pokémon food?" Bonnie asked then out of nowhere a Dedenne snatched it right out of her hand.

"No way," Jaden gasped. "Could that be the same Dedenne?"

"Yeah," Bonnie responded. "The one who ran away!"

"It must've been following us this whole time!" Ash thought about it.

"Come on Clemont, catch it, please!" Bonnie urged him.

"Alright," Clemont said then they left.

"Come back!" Bonnie ran after it then Ash bring out Fletchling and Twilight bring out Flygon.

"Fletchling, follow it!" Ash said.

"Same thing, Flygon," Twilight said.

Both of them flew after them.

"Dedenne, wait," Bonnie said as they ran after them.

Flygon was still in the air, and Flecthling perched on a tree branch looking.

"Do you guys lose it?" Twilight asked them.

"Dedenne!" Bonnie called out. "Where are you? Come out, come out, where you are!"

Without looking, Bonnie fell into a ditch and hit her head.

"Bonnie!" Everyone said in concern.

Bonnie looked and saw Dedenne in the hole she tried to grab it but it was too quick and it's popping in and out.

"Bunnelby," Clemont called him out. "Get Dedenne out that hole!"

Bunnebly appeared and went down the hole along with Pikachu. Ash and the others did the same

"Over here?" Ash looking in one hole.

"No, over there!" Clemont said looking in another.

"A-ha!" Clemont hoisted Pikachu in the air then got hit by a Thunderbolt.

"Whoa, that Dedenne sure is quick!" Jaden said.

"I want it now!" Bonnie complained then Pikachu went inside.

Pikachu searches through the tunnel and found it. Pikachu wanted to come out but it refused so it tackle Dedenne and rolled to another part of the forest. Both of them were dazed. They weren't alone as a wild Rotom joined them asking why are they here. As Pikachu explained Dedenne used it electric talk and started to run away. Pikachu did it back to Dedenne and soon all three of them talking by electricity. But they alone as Team Rocket watch from above,

"There's Pikachu," Jessie declared.

"True," Aria agreed. "With a Rotom plus one."

"Yeah, what is it?" Duke asked.

Clyde opens his database with his mechanical arm reach searches as it stops to see Dedenne's picture.

"It's a Dedenne, an Electric and Fairy type," Clyde explained.

"Never seen one before," Duke said.

"They having a back and forth buzz fest," Adagio said.

"Since they're Electric-type," James explained. "I'd guess they're in the process of communicating."

"Meowth, translation," Jessie ordered him.

"No can do," Meowth shook his head. "I don't speak electricity!"

"What luck, the twerps are nowhere to be seen!" Adagio smirked.

"Perfect," Duke smiled. "His lost our gain."

Back with Ash and the others.

"I think they're gone," Fluttershy sadly said.

"Maybe it got away," Clemont suggested then Bunnebly came up.

"Maybe," Ash chimed. "Pikachu hasn't come back either."

"Bunnelby, would you mind going down there and looking for Pikachu?" Clemont asked his Pokémon.

Bunnelby agreed and went back down.

"Pikachu..." Ash said softly hoping his pal was okay.

With Pikachu

Pikachu, Dedenne, and their new friend Rotom were walking through the forest, then Dedenne's tummy started to rumble. Dedenne was hungry, Rotom saw a tree with fruit and grabbed Pikachu's attention. Pikachu used Thunderbolt and one fruit came and gave it to Dedenne just as was eating some launched a Sludge Bomb at them, Pikachu tackled Dedenne avoided it the attack was Adagio's Skunktank and Team Rocket were right above them.

"Prepare for trouble, my prize Pikachu!"

"And make it double, with two as well!"

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the above!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Adagio!"

"Aria!"

"Sonata!"

"Duke!"

"and Clyde!"

"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender or get ready to rumble!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

"Woobuffet!"

"Murkrow!"

"Now Pikachu, be a polite Pokémon, and let us catch you!" Duke declared.

"Dedenne, Rotom, please!" Aria mentioned. "You too!"

All three made of run for it.

"Stop!" Jessie shouted.

"How rude," James shrieked.

Team Rocket was chasing after them. Meowth kept firing net after net hoping it would capture them but they avoided them all! Pikachu turned around and a Thunderbolt to them.

"Woobuffet, go!" Jessie called out the Patient Pokémon to use Mirror Coat.

He absorbed the Thunderbolt and send it back to them and they were blown away from it.

"Don't ever get tried," Adagio complained.

"Take a break!" Aria groaned.

"For our sake!" Sonata cried.

"Chill!" Duke.

Eventually, all that chase led Pikachu, Dedenne, and Rotom to be at the nearby mountain top.

"Give it up!" Jessie declared.

"Hey," James said.

"Stop," Meowth added.

Clyde fired an electric net from the metal arm at Dedenne but it missed causing a fall Pikachu grabs its tail so it wouldn't fall in the hands of Team Rocket.

"Gotcha! Almost... once more!" Aria said while trying to grab it.

Pikachu hoisted Dedenne up to the top and the trio continued to run.

"Drat," Aria grumbled. "If this keeps, they'll get away!"

"We can't let that happen," James armed Inkay's Pokéball. "Okay, Inkay. Hey, hey!"

Inkay appeared.

"Now, tackle,"

Inkay came at Dedenne with a brutal tackle. Dedenne flew across the field.

"Okay, Inkay, Psybeam,"

Inkay blasted the Psybeam at them causing an explosion that all three of them in the river.

"I give, where's Pikachu?" Jessie asked frantically looking for it.

"Downstream," Duke saw head down on the river.

"They're getting away," Adagio worried.

"But I have just thing," Clyde said then throwing into the water. "Our rubber Rocket raft!"

"That's some lifesaver!" Jessie smiled.

"Like me," Clyde smirked.

"Wobbuff. Wobuffet!"

Then all nine members got on the raft.

"Keep your powder dry, Pikachu!" Clyde shouted. "You'll be ours in no time!"

"I can hardly breathe!" Adagio mentioned given the raft's small size.

"So it's a little small," Cylde pointed out it! "Deal with it."

"Concentre on finding Pikachu!" Duke shouted as all of them started to look.

"Look Pikachu alert!" Aria alerted everyone that Pikachu holding to a tree as floated past it.

"Wait!" Aria shrieked. "Stop this bathtub! We floated right past!"

"Strong current, eh. Captain?" James asked Clyde.

"Aye aye matey," He shot back.

Inkay grabs everyone's attention but in time as their raft got popped and they were out of sight.

Pikachu carried Dedenne while out of the river then the Dedenne had suddenly collapsed. A Fletchling came by knowing that was Ash's Pikachu signal it that he was okay.

Moments Later Ash and the others came by.

"I was so worried about you, buddy!" Ash said being concerned for his friend.

Pikachu pointed at the collapsed Dedenne.

"Dedenne?" Bonnie said in concern.

"Oh, my godeness," Fluttershy gasped. "Is it okay?"

"Now what are going to do?" Bonnie asked. "I'm scared."

"What about the Pokémon Center?" Twilight asked.

"The closest one is about eight miles from here," Jaden replied.

"I think we should treat Dedenne right here," Clemont suggested. "Let's give it some electricity!"

"Electricity?" Fluttershy asked.

"How do we do that?" Ash also wondered.

"Just leave it to me," Clemont smiled. "Remember the future is now thanks to science!"

"Clemontic Gear, on!" He pulled another invention. "I've got the perfect machine for a situation like this! Presenting my electricity generator!"

Ash, Pikachu, and Twilight were amazed by this.

"Another boring name," Bonnie sighed due to her brother's limited imagination.

"Now observe," Clemont explain as grab the plastic clipboard. "If you put a plastic clipboard under your arm and rub like this..."

He rubs the plastic clipboard under and placed it under Bonnie's head which caused her hair to straight-up making her smile.

"...the resulting friction causes the build of electrons and creates static electricity, see?" Clemont explained. "This machine uses the same principle, which is to create a massive electrical charge!"

He places Dedenne at the output of the machine. "And power... on!"

The machine started to the plastic clipboard faster and faster in result creating a massive charge of electrically.

"Do you see the electrically?" Clemont asked.

"Science is amazing," Ash said being excited.

"Are you sure this is safe?" Twilight asked him.

"Sure, I'm sure!" Clemont reassured her. "Just watch."

The generator managed to produce a small charge of electricity which cause Dedenne to twitch a bit then woke up feeling fine.

"Great," Jaden said seeing that Dedenne recover. "I think you can turn it off now!"

"One problem," Clemont a piece of his device. "I can't!"

Everyone screamed as it was on overload.

"Dedenne, get away, quick!" Bonnie urged it to get out of there.

"You've gotta stop that thing!" Ash requested.

"I wish I knew how!" Clemont said having no idea then it exploded.

"Oopsie, I guess it's back to the drawing board," Clemont said.

"Yeah," Bonnie agreed. "Look at my hair."

Dedenne appeared as well Rotom.

"Well Dedenne is feeling fine," Jaden said.

"That's what counts," Clemont follows it up. "All's well that end well!"

"Dedenne, I'm glad you're feeling all better now, " Bonnie said then it turned around and thank Clemont.

"I think it's saying thanks for the electricity," Jaden pointed it out.

"Come on. you don't have to thank me," Clemont smiled then Bonnie remembered something.

"Clemont, Clemont! Catch it, Catch it!" Bonnie got up urged her brother.

"Hey, that's right," Clemont realized. "I totally forgot about doing that!"

"Holding it right there!" Hearing Adagio's voice.

Then all of them looked to see Team Rocket's balloon.

"Now prepare for trouble," Adagio declared. " The 'it' means you!"

"You hoo!" Duke greeted them.

"Meanwhile we'll just take Pikachu," James said.

"Giving it to the Boss is the least we can do," Sonata smirked.

"By the way," Clyde mentioned. "If you're thinking of running, you've got another thing coming!"

"Wait, a second," Twilight got something. "This whole thing was all your fault the whole time!"

"Why are you guys always mean to Pokémon?" Fluttershy furiously asked.

"I make you sorry you said that," Aria and James threw out their Pokéballs.

"Inkay, come on!"

"You too, Croagunk!"

Both Inkay and Croagunk appeared ready to fight.

Dedenne got out in front and Rotom appeared in front of Fluttershy.

"Dendenne!"

"Rotom, Rotom!"

"Dedenne you want to battle don't you?" Clemont asks it. "So you can get back at them for what did!"

"Rotom?" Fluttershy asked. "Do you want me to battle side by side?"

Both of them nodded.

"Great! Dedenne use Tackle on Inkay!"

"Rotom, Use Shadow Ball on Croagunk!"

Dedenne started to run at Inkay while Rotom launch a Shadow Ball at Croagunk.

"Inkay use Foul Play!

"Dodge it, Croagunk!"

Inkay grabbed Dedenne threw on the ground and Croagunk dodged the Shadow Ball.

"Now Inkay, Psybeam, go!"

"Croagunk, use Poison Sting!"

Inkay charged and used Psybeam at Dedenne while Croagunk used Poison Sting on Rotom. Both of them dodged the attacks.

"Tackle, one more time!

Rotom use Light Screen!"

Rotom form a shield blocking the Psybeam and Poison Sting, Dedenne came with a full-body tackle, at Inkay then Croagunk both of them started to lose their ground.

"You during great. All right, now use Nuzzle!

Dedenne rubs its cheeks and slammed on both causing them to feel the electricity on their bodies.

"Wow!" Bonnie was surprised. "That move's so cute, I like Dedenne even more!"

"Not only that, Nuzzle gives a paralysis effect on other Pokémon," Clemont mentioned.

"No way," Bonnie didn't know.

"Dedenne, way to go!" Ash said.

"Ah, Inkay," James worried.

"Croagunk hangs in there," Aria screamed.

Then Pikachu came in.

"Pikachu, you use Thunderbolt!"

"Dedenne, use Thunder Shock!

"Rotom, Thunder!"

All three of them launched massive blasts of electricity at the pazlyed Pokémon, both Inkay and Croagunk went flying into Team Rocket's Balloon then it explode.

"We're blasting off again!" Team Rocket screamed as they disappeared out of sight leaving a white flash.

"Pikachu, Dedenne, and Rotom, awesome!" Ash praised.

"Dedenne you were great!" Bonnie said.

"Thank you, guys!" Jaden was, please.

Dedenne and Rotom gave to zap to Pikachu and zap them right back.

"Dedenne and Rotom really want to come with us?" Ash asked.

"Yeah, really?" Bonnie asked. "Yippee! We'll have so much fun! You'll see!"

"Pretty please?"

"Yeah, now it's time! Go Pokéball!" Clemont threw one and Fluttershy did the same.

Both of the Pokéballs captured both of them it started to shake for while then it stopped.

"I did it!" Clemont exclaimed.

"Alright," Fluttershy happily said.

"Hey, can you let Dedenne come out?" Bonnie asked. "I wanna take of it!"

"Sure!" Clemont agreed. "I do it right now!"

Clemont let Dedenne come out.

"Dedenne! Yay!" Bonnie carried her. "Hi there, I'm Bonnie, and that's my brother Clemont! That Pikachu, Ash, Jaden, Twilight, and Fluttershy."

"Nice to meet you!" Twilight said.

Here let me get you cleaned up." Bonnie cleaned it up. "You got yourself all dirty from battle."

Bonnie cleaned its tail which made Dedenne feel happy.

"Hey look! Dedenne likes it when I pet its tail, too!"

"Wow!" Twilight said. "I never would have guessed!

"You're gonna have fun with Dedenne, aren't you? Ash asked.

"Yeah," Bonnie replied. "Dedenne is so cute!" Nuzzle, nuzzle, nuzzle."

By accident, Bonnie was shocked by the Nuzzle.

"Nuzzle's one Dedenne's moves," Clemont said. "I guess you forgot."

"Yup," Bonnie said sluggishly. "And now I can feel what's it's like to be paralyzed."

Then Dedenne fell asleep.

"Of course!" Jaden explained. "Dedenne tends to fall asleep a lot. That's one of the things they do to conserve their energy."

"Awesome!" Ash said. "An energy saver!"

"Okay you can take a nap in here," Bonnie placed Dedenne in her pouch then smile.

"So let's go!"

"Let's hit the road!"

"Yeah!" Bonnie shouted then everyone shushed each other and laughed a bit.

Meanwhile, Serena, Rarity, and Applejack have made it to the forest as the sun was setting down.

"This is terrible..." Serena sadly said. "The sun's setting and we're still in the middle of the woods."

"Well, that means we can sleep under stars," Applejack said since she was more of an outdoor type.

"As in sleeping out in the open," Rarity gave it some thought as Serena turned around a saw some Pokémon.

"Uh, no offense, AJ," Serena sheepily said. "Roughing it's not my style. If we could find a Pokémon Center, there's no doubt we'd able to stay there, but I don't know where it is...

Serena looked around saw somebody and went up to it to ask where is the Pokémon Center but it turns out to be a Vespiquen who startled her and others. Then Beehive Pokémon fired a Confuse Ray. Fennekin jumped in and used Ember countered the Confuse Ray. Then it fled. The Fox Pokémon gave both Serena and Applejack their hats.

"Thanks, Fennekin!" Serena thanked her Pokémon. "You saved us!"

"Fenne!"

"Is everything okay?" They heard Nurse Joy's voice as she and Nurse Redheart and Wigglytuff came by. "I just heard somebody screaming!"

"We're okay."Rarity reassured them. "We're all were startled by a Pokémon."

"We understand," Nurse Redheart said. "But are all of you are all right?"

"We're mighty fine," Applejack said. "Could you tell us if there's Pokémon Center around here, please?"

"Yes!" Nurse Joy responded. "It's located up ahead."

"Thank goodness," Rarity was relived. "Well ladies, look we're staying at the Pokémon Center."

"I have an idea let's a race to see who gets there first!" Applejack suggested.

"You're on!" Serena shouted.
