"Yeah, come in," Serena said hearing the knock knowing that was her Mom.

"Are you going out?" Grace asked.

"Yeah, with Rarity and Applejack," Serena replied. "Hey, Mom, which one should I wear?"

She holds two hats in front of her.

"I'd go with that!" Grace picks the left one.

"Kay, this one," Serena picks the right and puts it on her head.

"If you already knew why did you ask?"

"Rarity told me whichever one you didn't pick is the cuter one, that why," Serena asked.

"I see," Grace sighed. "So where are you going?"

"Lumiose City with the girls! To see Professor Sycamore and get my very first Pokémon!"

"Come on, hurry it up, you guys," Bonnie urged the others to pick up the pace. "Ash, you can register for the Kalos League over this way!"

"Yeah, we know Bonnie!" Ash pointed out.

"There's no need to rush," Twilight said.

"The Pokémon Center will still be there," Clemont mentioned.

"Thanks a lot, Clemont," Ash thanked him. "It's nice of you to bring us here."

"Please think nothing of it, Ash," Clemont mentioned. "I confess I'm a little in awe of you."

"In awe?" Ash asked.

"You were willing to do anything you could help Pikachu and that Garchomp back there," Clemont said. "Just watching you gave me courage!"

"Oh come on," Ash laugh a bit. "It wasn't that big of a deal."

"It was, I can totally understand why Froakie chose you."

Then Ash pulled out Froakie's Pokéball just as Clemont look up at Prism Tower.

I'll have to do better. Clemont thought to himself.

"Something wrong," Jaden noticed something,

"I'm sorry, just talking to myself," Clemont regained his posture.

Then our heroes enter the Pokémon Center and Nurse Joy and Nurse Redheart.

"Good morning," Both of the nurses bow and greet.

"Morning to both of you," Ash greeted them back.

"At this Pokémon Center, helping Pokémon in need is our number one goal!" Nurse Joy said.

"We're here for trainers and Pokémon alike," Nurse Redheart added.

"Pika!"

"I was hoping you could help me register for Kalos League!" Ash requested.

"Sure," Nurse Redheart said happily. "If you please touch this panel with Pokédex."

"Okay," Ash replied placed his Pokédex on the panel.

Ash from Pallet Town is now registered to enter the Kalos League. The number of badges in your possession is zero. We wish you the best of luck.

"You're all set now, Ash," Jaden said.

"Awesome and I'm gonna win!" Ash exclaimed. "The next step in becoming a Pokémon Master."

"And every registered trainer is eligible to receive a Kalos region case, here," Nurse Joy mentioned.

Then a Wiggytuff came by a gave Ash a badge case.

"A Wigglytuff!" Ash exclaimed seeing a Pokémon that he knows.

"Why yes," Nurse Redheart exclaimed. "Here in the Kalos region, our able Pokémon Center assistant is Wigglytuff."

"That's great."

"You're all registered. Good luck!"

"Train hard and always do your best!"

"Right! Count on it!"

Meanwhile, Team Rocket was sitting at a restaurant in disguise.

Meowth put a small projection cube on the table to show the image of their boss the Leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni.

"Good news, Boss," Adagio spoke up. "We had just arrived on time and according to plan."

"Our goal is to catch as many rare and Pokémon as possible," Duke mentioned.

"And the full analysis on Pokémon that Mega Evolve," Clyde mentioned. "Another useful tool for our conquest."

"And rest assured," Jessie added. "We are 100% committed to that goal."

"You can count on us," Aria smirked then something white and black grabbed James's croissant and Sonata's taco.

"Good," Giovanni was please as he pets his Persian. "I'm certain the Pokémon you catch will be an addition to our work. Get to it!"

"Sir!" All of them saluted back to him.

As their boss left all of them gave their classic evil smiles the shouted.

"Yes, The boss man said for us to get it!" Adagio shouted.

"He's counting on us!"Sonata excitedly screamed. "Yippee yay!"

"We're the first step in Team Rocket's takeover of Kalos," Meowth brought up. "Cause no one does takeovers as we do!"

Then both James and Sonata noticed something.

"What happened to my croissant?" James asked what happened to snack.

"And where the heck is my breakfast taco?" Sonata was also brought up.

Under the table, an Inkay and a Yamask ate both of the snacks.

Meanwhile, Ash was on a video call to Professor Oak showing Rotom.

"Hey, Rotom!" Ash greeted the Plasma Pokémon then the Kanto professor appeared.

"Hello Ash," Oak greeted him. "How are things so far?"

"Great! We arrived safely in the Kalos Region. "We're going start our journey soon!"

"Good! Have fun on the road."

"Thanks! I already caught my first Kalos Pokémon."

"Wonderful!"

"Check it out!"

Ash released Froakie from its Pokéball for the Professor to see.

"What have we here? A Froakie, a Kaols Water-type Pokémon!"

"Your right! You know everything!"

Then Rotom block his view.

"Hey Rotom I can't see!"

...

"Hey guys," Ash greeted the others as he walked out.

"Hi, Ash!" Fluttershy asked. "Didn't you tell us you were going to challenge the Santalune Gym first?"

"Yeah," Ash nod his head. "I'm pretty sure the Gym Leader should be back by now."

"I think the best way to get to Santalune City is by traveling Route Four all the way there!"

"Then route four it is! Aren't you psyched, Pikachu?"

"Pika!"

"Froakiem you're gonna be great!"

"Froakie!"

"Then what are we waiting for, " Clemont came in. "The sooner we leave the sooner we're there!"

"You don't have to show me anymore," Ash thanked them.

"Silly Ash," Bonnie joked. "We're really, really good friends now right? So we're going with you!"

"No joke?"

"We're serouis," Clemont exclaimed.

"Remeber what you did back there?" Fluttershy mentioned. "You show us what it's like to have really courage."

"All of us can get stronger traveling with you!"

"Your right, Fluttershy!"

"If it's okay,"

"Of corsoe it's okay! Traveling with friends is way more fun!"

All three of them smlied in pleasure.

"All right it's a deal!" Ash said. "We'll have a great time!"

"Yeah, we sure will!"

Both Ash and Clemont joins hands, then Jaden, Twilight, Fluttershy, Bonnie and the Pokémon came as well.

"Kalos here we come!" Jaden shouted as everyone raised their hands.

"Yeah!"

Meanwhile, Serena said her goodbyes to her mom and caught up with Applejack and Rairty who were already on their way to Lumiose City.

"So Serena," Rarity asked her. "Do you have an idea which Pokémon you want?"

"Sure do," Serena responded.

"Which one?' Applejack asked.

"You know when we get there," Serean telling Applejack that it's a secret.

Back Ash and the others have made progress to Santalune City. As the walking the Pokémon suddenly stop.

"Is something wrong," Jaden asked them then from out of nowhere a berry fell on Pikachu's head and landed on the ground.

As Pikachu went close to it and Thundershock came down and the elefricted berry hit Bonnie on the nose.

"Bonnie are you okay?" Clemont asked his little sister.

"Whoa, that was a shock..." said a surprised Bonnie.

"What was that?" Twilight asked.

Then busleted out of the grass a small Pokémon appeared and Pikachu confronted it.

"Never seen that Pokémon!" Ash exclaimed.

"Ah it's so cute!" Bonnie scremed.

Suddenly both Pikachu and the Pokémon gave off a spark.

"It sure doesn't look like it's afraid of us," Fluttershy said.

"There electric types, " Jaden explained. "So they can communicate with Eletriclty."

"So that Pokémon is Electiric Type," Ash said as pull out his Pokédex.

Dedenne, the Attenna Pokémon. Its whiskers serve as antennas. By sending and receiving electrical waves, it can communicate with others over vast distances.

"So that's Dedenne," Ash was surprised.

"I want it so bad. Hey, you'll keep it for me, won't you?" Bonnie pulled on his shoulder.

"Keep it?" Twlight asked.

"Yeah, he'll keep it for me until I'm old enough to become a trainer." Bonnie replied. "Pretty, pretty please? I'm promise I'll take care of it,"

"Let me see," Clemont thought about it.

"Aww, do it!" Jaden urged him. "I can help you catch it if you want."

"You will," Bonnie gasped. "Thank you, Jaden."

"Okay then let's catch Dedenne." Clemont ok it.

"Right," Bonnie agree then went down to it's level show a berry in her hand. "Hey Dedenne. You wanted this right?"

"It must have thought Pikachu was going to take it." Jaden said.

Just as Dedenne was going to take it another Pokémon swapped downand grabbed it.

"Hey what's the big idea," Ash said with anger. "I never seen that Pokémon either."

"It's a Fletching," Clemont mentioned,

"That berry belongs to Dedenne," Fluttershy mentioned.

Fletching didn't care and ate the berry.

"No fair," Bonnie pouted.

Twilight pulled her Pokédex.

Flecthling, the Tiny Robin Pokémon. Despite the beauty of its lilting voice, it’s merciless to intruders that enter its territory.

Then Dedenne ran away.

"I don't think it's going to come back..." Clemont pointed out.

Froakie used it Frubbeles but Fletching dodged them all.

"It dodged them all,' Twilight gasped.

"Look at that, Flecthing fast" Ash mentioned. "All right, I'm gonna catch that Fletching now!"

"Since Flecthing an Flying type, Pikachu has an advantage being an Electric type!" Clemont pointed it out."

Froakie saw Bonnie was tearing a bit and narrow it's eyes a bit.

"Alright Pikachu let's go!" Ash mentioned.

"Pika!"

"Froakie!"

Froakie threw his Frubbles at Fletching but it dogded them all.

"Come Froakie," Ash sheriked. "We don't even have a plan! Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu prepared to use Thunderbollt, but Froakie urged to stand down and prepare to use Water Pulse just as Fletching used Double Team making copies of itself.

"It's using Double Team," Clemont shouted.

Froakie fired the Water Pulse only to hit one of the copies which allow the real one to used Peck to make contact which send the Bubble Frog Pokémon into a tree and just he was about fall to ground Ash caught before it happen.

"Froakie are you okay?" Fluttershy asked in concern.

"Take it easy, and let Pikachu handle this," Ash said.

But Froakie didn't listen and jumped out of Ash's arms and still battle with Fletching.

"Why would Froakie do that?" Twilight asked.

"Didn't Professor Sycamore say that Froakie has habit of ignoring it's tranier when battling?" Fluttershy brought that up.

"I starting to understand," Ash said while smiling as Fluttershy turned to him. "Stories Froakie Levaing its trainers... I get it!"

Everyone, was shocked that Ash understand why Froakie act like that. Meanwhile Team Rocket were flying in their newly hot-air balloon.

"Ah, my kingdom for a little bit of breakfast," Both James Sonata said as they were seriously hungry.

"My departed croissant,"

"My beloved breakfast taco,"

"It may be a bit early for lunch, but let's bend the the rules," Clyde said as pulled out a basket.

"Wow!" James exclaimed.

"I second that," As Sonata's mouth started to water a bit.

Then a gust of wind came by shook the ballon just causing the basket, tumble causing two of the sandwiches to fall out.

"Come back, " Sonata tried to grab them but something white and black grab them instead. "Did you just see what I saw?" Sonata asked Adagio.

"Something with a touch of white and black," Adagio replied.

"A couple of Pokémon I'll bet," Duke chimed in.

"Wobbuffet!"

"Murkrow!"

Then one of the Pokémon came from squited black ink on all of them.

"Houndour!"

Back with our heroes, the wild Fletching used Peck on Froakie which send him to the ground but he landed on his feet.

"Stop, Froakie!" Ash pleaded as hold Froakie tightly. "Just chill out, you're only going end up hurting yourself!"

"In know how you feel, Froakiem but you've gotta listen to me!"

"Froak?'

"Everyone, take cover," Jaden shouted as Flecthling used Razor Wind.

Everyone jumped out of the way but Ash crashed into tree scrpaing his arm.

"Everbody okay," Ash asked. "Pikachu? Froakie? Clemont, Bonnie, Jaden, Twilight Fluttershy are you okay too?"

"Yeah, we're fine," Clemont said as he and the others were okay."

"Pika!"

"Hey, Froakie?" Ash asked his Pokémon. "I understand."

"You wanted to get even with Fletching for Bonnie sad."

"Froak,"

"Is that true?" Bonnie asked. "Thank you, Froakie!"

Bonnie then hugged Froakie as he started to blushed red.

"But you can't even without, a plan," Twilight mentioned. "Remember with Flecthing is Flying-type. Meaning it has a serious field advantage. Step one, we need a way to lure it in! Any ideas?

Then Clemont chucked a bit. "We you just leave it to me! You see, the future is now thanks to science... Clemontic Gear, On!" He pulls what appeared to be a sort of electronic horn. "Presenting my Flying-type Pokémon Attractor Machine!"

"Ah," Both Twilight and Ash were amazed despite Ash having no idea what does it do.

"The name needs work," Bonnie sighed.

"Moving on," Fluttershy refused the conservation. "What does it do?"

"You see," Clemont explained. "Bird Pokémon have a homing instinct by using sound waves of a certain frequency, this little invention of mine can attract or repel bird Pokémon by affecting their internal compass!"

"Watch this," Clemont stated. "Power, on!"

This device started to make noise.., but it attracted the Beedrill and started to run away meanwhile the machine explode. Then saw Fletching was on them.

Ash an idea to use Froakie's jumping to give it more mobility! Flecthing had a hard time as used Peck but it was fake made by the Frubbles. Then Froakie fire Bubble at Close Range causing damage to it.

"All right go, Pokéball," Ash there a Pokéball at it but it got out.

"So close," Bonnie sighed.

"Keep your guard up! Jump up and get above it again!

Froakie kept jumping while dodging the Razor wind. And then Froakie used Water Pulse at close range. And Fletching fell down.

"This for sure," As Ash turned his backward. "Go, Pokéball."

The Pokéball caught Fletchling and after it shook it stop shaking it stop meaning it was caught.

"Yeah!" Ash said as he grabs Fletching Pokéball. "I caught a Fletching!"

"Pikachu!"

"Froakie!"

Then Froakie fell down being exhausted.

"Are you okay," Fluttershy asked.

"Wasn't that amazing?" Bonnie asked.

"Sure was!" Jaden replied. "Froakie's jumping kept getting better!"

"Same with your teamwork," Twilight added.

"Yeah, I'm staring to understand a lot about Froakie... Come on Fletchling!"

Fletching came out of its Pokéball.

"From now on, we're gonna be good friends, all of us,"

"And Fletching, tell me if you get hungry next time, because stealing other Pokémon's food is bad!"

"Fletch!"

"Okay! Youre forgiven,"

"How about an Oran Berry to celebrate our new friendship?" Fluttershy show it to the bird Pokémon. "Incling you guys as well!"

"Pika!"

"Froak!"

"Snea!"

"All right," Twilight came in. "Next stop Santalune City!"

Meanwhile, Serena, Rarity and Applejack had made to the Sycamore Research Lab.

"Hello?" Rartiy asked.

"Is Professor Scymore around?" Sernea asked as well.

"That's me!" Sycamore said as came from upstairs. "I'm up here."

They all turn around and saw him.

"Hello there," Applejack greeted. "I'm Applejack."

"Rarity,"

"Serena,"

"I'll bet you'll here to become a Pokémon Trainers." The professor knew the answer.

"Why certainly," Rarity anwserd. "Also we saw a Trainer on the news. The report was all about how he had saved a Garchomp."

"Oh, you talking about Ash!"

"Ash... I knew it!!", Serena thought to herself.

"I'm afraid he already left." The professor added. "He was going to challenge the Santalune Gym."

"Satnalune Gym," Applejack wondered. "May we choose a Pokémon?

"Of course, and do you have any idea idea which Pokémon you three would like?"

"Yup!"

"All right! Everybody out!"

Starlight walked out the room with the Kalos Starter Trio.

"These are the Kalos Pokémon new Trainers may choose from: Fennekin, Chespin and Froakie. Which Pokémon will you choose as your partner?"
