It was the final day of the Pokémon Summer Camp and everyone was standing on the beach waiting for Professor to tell us what was the activity for today.

"Good morning everyone. It's already our last day at summer camp, which means we finally decide who gets into the hall of fame. So get ready for the Team Battle Competition," Sycamore told them.

"The Team Battle Competition works like a tournament. per usual the team with the top three places will get points and this is the final camp event, so let's get out there and have fun!"

"So, can someone explain to me, what on earth is a Team Battle?" Applejack asked as they were in their cabin joined by Team Squirtle.

"A team battle consists of several trainers forming a team and battling using various types of formations," Clemont explained. "The format could make up three-person, five-person, or seven-person teams."

"Sound confusing," Serena and Rarity said.

"Have you done this before?" Bonnie asked.

"Sadly. I never had the chance," Clemont said to her.

"Hang on, the format is three on three, right?" Hilda asked. "That means only three of us can battle."

"Dang, you're right," Jaden realized. "So, who's going to sit out?"

"I'll do it," Serena said out of the blue. "I only have one Pokémon."

"Actually, Serena, I think that you, Ash, and Jaden should be in it," Fluttershy spoke up.

"You're sure about it?" Serena asked.

"I don't like battling," Fluttershy admitted.

"Rarity and I, have the least battling experience," Applejack said.

"And any of us we're on the team, it probably be unfair to everyone else," Rainbow noted.

"Alright then Jaden and Serena, we can't lose. We'll win this competition and get into the hall of fame!" Ash exclaimed.

A little while later, Team Froakie made it to the semifinals. Their opponents were Flecthling, Manectric, and Furfrou while Ash used Pikachu, Serena was Fennekin, and Jaden was using Golurk.

"Now Pikachu, let's get this going with Electro Ball!"

"Fenekin use Hidden Power!"

"Golurk, Earthquake!"

Golurk prepared to use Earthquake just as Fennekin's Hidden Power and Pikachu's Electro Ball were launched and hit all three then the Earthquake struck and all three opposing Pokémon were out.

"We did it!" Serena cheered.

"Marvelous! Team Froakie has made it through this battle which means they face Team Squirtle members Indigo Zap, Sugarcoat, and Lemon Zest in the final. before the two teams face other, they will have their strategy meetings," Sycamore said.

At Pokémon Center...

"Nurse Redheart, we're here our Pokémon," Indigo said.

"Huh, what are you talking about?" Nurse Redheart asked.

"What do you mean? Didn't our chefs give our Pokémon to you their check-up?"

"Our chefs did that?" Ash asked.

"Yeah, but it's been a while," Sunny Flare explained.

"I say we split up and look for them," Jaden suggested.

Once outside of the Pokémon Center, Roggernola detected some movement on the ground and started to run in that direction.

"Hey, Roggernola got something," Applejack observed.

Fennekin and Sandile then started sniffing in the same direction where Roggernola was going.

"What, is it Fennekin?" Serena asked.

"You got something, Sandy?" Pinkie asked then Pokémon followed. "I think they got something, let's go!"

The pursuit took the group into the forest where they found the chefs near a covered box. Fennekin then ran up to the box and started to sniff.

"Trespasser! Beat it now!"

"Your nose is getting out of joint."

Pinkie, there in here! Sandile told her as Fenneking tried to pull the cover off.

"What have you done with our Pokémon?" Sugarcoat asked.

"It's what they've done they don't want you to see," Zane answered.

"What do you mean?" Lemon Zest asked.

"Gardevoir, Psychic."

Gardevoir used Psychic and pulled the cover to see Pikachu, Bronzong. and Zangoose all tied up with Leech Seed.

"How did you know?"

"I've suspected something was about you guys since I first laid eyes on you. And I was right," Zane explained.

"What do you think you're doing with them?" Ash demanded.

"What other reason is there?" The chefs dropped their disguises to reveal...

"Team Rocket!" Rainbow shouted.

"Team Rocket?" Sour Sweet asked.

"Jerks, who steal Pokémon," Jaden told her then everyone was caught off guard when Sunset slowed clapping.

"You know I honestly have to thank you guys for showing up," Sunset told Team Rocket.

"Say what now?" Duke asked.

"You have given me the opportunity to do this," Sunset smirked then grab Pokéball. "Lucario, let's go!'

Lucario shouted and glare at Team Rocket.

"No way, your Riolu evolve!"

"Here we go again," Clyde groaned as they sent out Pumpkaboo, Inkay, Staraptor, Slumga, and Magenmite.

"Lucario, Power-up Punch on Inkay and Magenmite!"

Lucario prepared to use Power-up Punch as it ran to them.

"Staraptor. Air Slash!"

"Pumpkaboo, Dark Pulse!"

The Air Slash and Psybeam got deflected much to Team Rocket's surprise.

"How is that possible?" Duke questions as Inkay and Maganmite got slammed by the Power-up Punch and sent to James and Clyde.

"Slumga, Rock Slide!"

"Dodge and use Aura Sphere!"

Lucario jumped out of the Rock Slide while firing Aura Sphere at Sulmga. The move caused Slumga to melt the cage with its body along with the Leech Seed. The trapped Pokémon ran back to their trainers.

"Oh, crumbs, I think I know what happens next," Sonata shivered as if on cue Lucario fired another Aura Sphere and sent them flying.

"Good work, there," Sunset told him then they fist-bumped.

"Thanks, Sunset. That was amazing," Indigo said.

"Anytime. Let's get back, you six have the battle to do."

Much later...

The two teams stood across from each other as Professor Sycamore prepared to start the match. Team Squirilte were using their partner in this and Jaden was using Magmar instead of Gollurk.

"Alright teams, Are you ready for your battle? On my signal, let's go!"

Team Battle

Ash, Jaden, and Serena vs Indigo Zap, Sugarcoat, and Lemon Zest

"Here we come, use Quick Attack!"

"Not so fast, Zangoose, Flamethrower!"

"Alright, Fennekin, protect Pikachu, with Flamethrower!"

Both Zangoose and Fennekin's Flamethrower attacks canceled out as Pikachu kept going.

"Pikachu, Volt Tackle on Pikachu, then Dig on Fennekin!"

Pikachu did Volt Tackle on Pikachu, then went underground to hit Fennekin.

"They're not missing a beat!"

"Magmar, Mach Punch on Pikachu!"

"Dodge!"

Pikachu dodged Magmar's Mach Punch.

"Use Slash, on Magmar!"

Zangoose used Slash and sent Magmar back.

"Metagross, Flash Cannon!"

Then Metagross' Flash Canon hit all three of them.

"They're trying to finish this," Ash realized.

"They're really strong," Serena added.

"We need to break Zangoose's rhythm, but how?"

"Metagross, stand by for Hyper Beam!"

Metagross started to charge.

"Pikachu, Thunder on Fennekin!"

"Hidden Power!"

Fennekin's Hidden Power hit Pikachu, but the Thunder ko'd Fennekin.

"Fennekin, return!" Serena returns it to its Pokéball.

"Zangoose, Flamethrower!"

"Dodge it, Pikachu!"

Pikachu jumped over Flamethrower as Sugarcoat called out "Let her rip, Hyper Beam!"

"Magmar, counter with Hyper Beam!"

Magmar's Hyper Beam canceled out Metegross' Hyper Beam.

"Now, Pikachu, Thunderbolt on Zangoose!"

Pikachu fired Thunderbolt and took out Zangoose in one shot.

"Iron Tail!"

Pikachu came at them with Iron Tail.

"Let's finish this, Ash! Magmar Fire Punch!"

"Pikachu, Electro Ball!"

Magmar knocked down Indigo's Pikachu with Fire Punch while Ash's Pikachu did Electro Ball and knocked Zangoose.

"And that's the end of it! Team Froakie is our winning team you'll be in the Hall of Fame!" Professor Sycamore shouted.

"Hall of Fame! Hall of Fame! We did it! We did it!" Bonnie and Pinkie shouted.

...

"I guess it's time to go," Indigo said.

"Yeah, it's never easy to say goodbye," Jaden admitted.

"Of course, that means, we're all rivals now," Rainbow added.

"For sure," Lemon Zest said.

"Later take care," Fluttershy said as the two groups went their ways.

"Next stop," Shalour City," Sunset said.
