Ch. 26 Death

I woke up at whiteness as far as I could see. " Anyone here?!" I yelled, getting up. When I got up I realized that I had died, what a perfectly awful thing to wake up to. " Wheres the underworld, wheres the ferryman?" I said aloud, confused. that was what was suppose to happen, the ferryman would come and pick me up and take my ass to the underworld. I started to just walk around, hoping that I wasn't cursed by the gods or anything, that would fucking suck....

" 10 minutes of being dead and it's really fucking boring." I mutter to myself when I smell it...... someone is cooking beef! Running toward the smell I saw that a group of people where having a picnic. i stopped, something wasn't right here... but they had a fucking cow cooking over a pit! It even had an apple in its mouth. My will power droke down and I ran over to the picnic. Each of the people had hoods over their heads to cover their faces.

Time to be charming.....

" Can I have some fucking meat?"

One of the hooded figures took its hood off, revealing a perfectly normal face, other than the face that his shoes had wings on them. He was grinning and threw me a knife. " Eat up Marvil, we need to talk." " You don't need to tell me twice lord Hermes." I said, rushing over the cow and cutting huge pieces off. Have you ever went long periods of not eating meat when for most of your life you've enjoyed it. Let me tell you that I had quite a chub going.

When I finished I looked over to Hermes, who was grinning. " So Hermes, you giving me a dinner before you take me to the underworld?" I asked him, gaving no idea why he was here, if he did though I wasn't going to complain. " And who are your friends?" Hermes grin got bigger as he walked toward me. " I gods are returning the favor for helping us, Hades was a pain in the ass to deal with but even he agreed to it."

" Agreed to what?" I asked still confused. " Putting you back in your body again, dummy, and healing it. When I send you back you will be as good as new." I frowned. " Isn't that impossible? I thought the fates controlled our lives not the gods." Hermes grin got bigger and he smacked me in the back of the head. " We're gods jackass, just go with it.... O and you know each of these people!"

I looked at the 3 figures and frowned. One of them took a step towards me, taking his hood off revealing...... Leo!" " Leo you short ass!" I yelled as I wrapped him in a hug, probably breaking his ribs. " Nice to see you too Marvil." He told me grinning " Having love troubles?" I raised a eyebrow and he laughed. " Being dead is boring! So a bunch of us took to watching what you were doing in that new world, those ponies are really fucking adorible."

I smiled at him, happy to see my friend again. " A bunch of you?" I asked him.

" Ya, almost a 1000 of us!"

" Gods"

" We were making bets on if you would know that that Rainbow loved you or not."

" How much did it get up to?"

" 10,000 silvers!"

I whistled, looking him over. " Do you know who your wives doing?" His grin got bigger." She just had my baby last month." " Hey good for you man!" He looked me over and smiled. " Thanks for giving us burial mounds Marvil, me and Dthort love them." " Really, how is that big son of a bitch?" Another figure took a step and removes its hood. " Fine sir." Dthort said, looking me over. " It's nice to see you Dthort." I said, wrapping him in a hug. He looked in my eyes with a serious face. " Sir, we need to talk about what happened in the forest."

I sighed unhappily and sat down, Leo and Dthort standing over me. Putting my head in my hands I said, " I've never heard of something like that happening, hell, she's not even human!" I looked over to Hermes, whowas checking his nails. " Lord Hermes, do you know why I found another?" He shrugged.

" The gods know."

" But your a god."

" I know"

" Thats not fair"

" Tell me about it."

I looked at my 2 friends. " Don't you think that its pretty fucking weird guys? Me and a pony... And what about Pthea?.... Have you guys seen her, how is she?" They both shrugged and smiled as the last figure took off its hood, revealing my long dead wife. " Pthea?" I said, tears in my eyes. " She smiled and walked over to me, punching me on the shoulder, hard. " FUCK, what was that fo-" She grabbed me before I could finished and kissed me and wrapped me in a hug. " I will always love you Marvil" She whispered to me. " Love that pony with all of your heart, I'll wait for you when your time comes with open arms."

I chuckled, hugging her tightly, " You sappy bitch." I told her. She broke out of the hug and my 3 friends took a step back, all of them smiling. " Goodbye Marvil, see you in hopefully a 100 years." Leo told me before they disappeared before my eyes. With tears in my eyes I looked over to Hermes, Who had a big smile on his face." That kind of stuff always gets me.... O almost forgot." He tossed me a stone. " Thats from Hades. Since we had to make him not let you die he owes you 2 favors, just think of what you need and if it's within reason Hades will answer you."

I looked over the stone, I was midnight black and was very cold. Nodding to him as I put it in my pocket, I woundered how I was going to used it. Hermes clapped his hands together. " Ready to go back Marvil?" He asked me. I nodded and then realized that Hermes could tell me.....

" Hermes could you tell me if Pinkie's-" Smiling at me he snapped his fingers throwing me into a vortex. As I flew down it my only pissed off thought was Fucking figures.........

I opened my eyes, groaning. I was laying down in a coffin with a pretty snazzy suite on. At least they didn't bury me yet, that would of fucking sucked... Sitting up, I looked around. There were about a 1000 ponies at my funerial with a crying Scoots sitting in the front. " It was deathly quiet, all of the ponies looked shocked. I smiled at them. The 6 girls were in the front rows too, with Stone, Spell and the princesses. I looked at Rainbow, she was a mess. She looked like she had lost a lot of weight and her eyes were red.

" She got up and walked up to me, looking like she was seeing a ghost. " Marvil...... is that you?" I smiled down at her as she poked me to see if I was real. " Ya its m- OOOOFFFF!" I said as Scoots knocked me to the ground, crying against my chest. "Your back dad!" She said as she cryed. I smiled, " Ya its-" Rainbow grabbed me and kissed me... hard. I laughed, breaking out of the kiss." Easy Dash! There's kids here, and yes I love you too. " Before she could say anything I kissed her back.

What felt like a hour we kissed. When we broke it off all 1000 ponies cheered, happy that I wasn't dead. Getting up and dusting myself off I asked Dash. " So how long was I- OOOFFF!" All of the others crashed into me, hugging me to death. " Your going to kill me again if you don't get off me!" I told them laughing. Twilight looked me over." Marvil how are you alive?"
