Soarin was pacing the hospital reception waiting for news from his wife Rainbow Dash. She had gone into labor 2 hours ago, and so far he had no news about her.

"Because it's taking so long, is she okay? What if something is wrong with Dash or the foal, and if-" Soarin was cut by Twilight who was also in the reception room along with Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie & Rarity

"Soarin calm down! She'll be fine, I'm sure she's doing great inside" Twilight said

"I know but ... It all makes me very worried ..." Soarin said

"Don't worry Sugarcubbe, Rainbow Dash is a strong mare, I'm sure she and your foal are fine," Applejack said.

"By the way do you already know if it's a little filly or a little foal?" Asked Rarity

"Not yet, we went for the ultrasound but Dash preferred it to be a surprise," Soarin said.

"But what do you expect it to be?" Said Fluttershy

"As long as the foal is strong and healthy I don't care what it is" Soarin said

"I can't wait to see the baby! It was very hard for me to wait for 11 months" said Pinkie Pie

Soarin smiled and tried to be as calm as possible.

A few minutes later Nurse Redheart left the delivery room with a smile on her face.

"Excuse me Mr. Soarin, it was okay with childbirth you can come in now" she said

Soarin immediately flashed a huge smile on his face, so he began to walk into the delivery room.

When he entered the first thing he saw was his beloved wife lying on the bed, her horsehair worn and holding a small foal in her hooves.

"Rainbow" Soarin said

"Soarin" Rainbow said weakly

Soarin started to walk to the bed and took Rainbow's side. He was amazed at his new foal.

"Oh Rainbow is he handsome, is he a filly or a foal?"

"Filly"

Soarin smiled again so he leaned over and kissed Rainbow Dash on the forehead

"She's just beautiful, she's our little Wonderbolt"

"Soarin ..."

"Can you imagine our daughter in the Wonderbolts?"

"Soarin"

"She'll be the most amazing of all!"

"Soarin ..."

"What was Dashie? Any problem?"

Rainbow bit her lip before speaking

"Soarin, there's something you need to know ..."

"What's up? Is something wrong with our filly? Like any health problems?"

"No ... her health is great except for ..."

"For what?"

"Your vision"

Soarin froze for a moment realizing what was happening

"You mean that..."

"Yes ... She ... She's blind ..." Rainbow Dash said holding tight to her filly.

Soarin leaned forward and hugged Rainbow.

"The doctors did a lot of tests on her and then they said there's nothing to restore her vision ... Oh Soarin I'm honestly very worried about that ..."

"No need to worry honey you know I'll never let anything happen to you or our filly"

"Yeah, but just thinking that she's going to spend the rest of her life without seeing the world gives me a heartache ..."

"I know Dashie ... But we as her parents are going to make her get over it."

Soarin then leaned over and kissed Rainbow Dash and the baby on the head.

"Have you decided any names for her yet?"

"Well I was thinking of ... Snowflake?"

"It's perfect"

A few minutes later Pinkie Pie came into the room with Rainbow's other friends.

"So where is the cutest baby in the world?" She said

"Well..."
