A few days later, Rainbow Dash and Soarin were released to go home with the baby. They were still a little nervous about Snowflake being blind, but even so they were going to love their daughter to death very much.

Soarin was feeding Snowflake with her bottle while Rainbow Dash was resting a little. Caring for a baby really was hard work, but luckily Snowflake was a very calm baby. She only cried when she was hungry or when she was in pain, or when she realized that her parents were not around.

Even though she was blind she seemed to be a very clever foal. She began to recognize the ponies and the things that happened around her by her hearing, even though she couldn't see it, she could hear everything happening around her.

"Ready Snowflake?" Soarin said as he gave Snowflake the bottle. She soon stopped sucking the bottle and tried to speak.

"Paggghhj"

Soarin smiled and took her foal in its hooves and kissed her on the forehead, so he patted her back to make her burp.

"Soarin is all right here?" Rainbow Dash said

"Yes Dashie, Snowflake just eat I think she's sleepy now" Soarin said handing Snowflake to Rainbow Dash

"Ok I'll make her sleep"

Then Rainbow Dash flew to Snowflake's room and put her in the crib.

"Hello Snow, are you sleepy? Well I'll sing a song for you to sleep" Rainbow Dash said as she stroked Snowflake in the crib. She then began singing the lullaby to Snowflake.
A few minutes later she finally fell asleep and then Rainbow Dash leaned over and kissed her on the head.

"Good night my little Snow, I love you"

The next few days Snowflake hosted a welcome party hosted by Pinkie Pie.

"And now who is my favorite baby in this world? Yes it's you!" Pinkie Pie said as she played with Snowflake

"Snowflake is really beautiful Rainbow Dash" said Fluttershy

"Thank you girls" Rainbow said

"Uh Rainbow look" Twilight said pointing to Snowflake and she was trying to fly.

Rainbow's eyes widened and she quickly flew closer to her daughter and caught her.

"Take it easy Snowflake, you shouldn't be flying" Rainbow said as she held Snowflake

"I thought you would be more excited that Snowflake was flying Rainbow," said Rarity.

"Yes ... But I sincerely want to keep her from flying" the other ponies seemed to have confused looks.

"Well ... With Snowflake being blind I'd rather keep her from flying alone, I'm afraid she'll get hurt" Dash said

"This is a totally common fear Rainbow, but don't worry about it I'm sure she will always be safe by your side, you'll see this is just mom's concern" said Applejack

"Perhaps..."
