Chapter 2: Th Lost Princess

Item# SCP: 4346

Object class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4346 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell furnished with a bed, a set of drawers, and a bookshelf containing factional stories that are 100 pages or more. SCP-4346's containment cell is coated with *redacted* following the incident of Date exsponge. All foundation staff seeking direct access to the Subject are required to do so through a hermetically-sealed entrance. The barrier is not to be broken at any time, nor is SCP-4346 permitted to see any space outside of its' cell, barring tests approved by at least one senior researcher and subsequent moving of its containment unit to a location SCP-4346 is not familiar with.

If the ring containing the [redacted] is compromised all staff is to immediately retreat from the vicinity and [redacted.] The use of non-lethal weapons should be directed towards the horn or wings. If SCP-4346 should manage to escape its confinement, or disappear from testing, then site *redacted* will commence lockdown procedures until the subject is found. It’s more than likely SCP-4346 has merely been displaced within two hundred meters along whatever path it has recently had visual contact with. If recaptured, SCP-4346 is to be blinded and transported to a new cell on a different site.

Nutrition consistent with the average dietary needs of an equine twice the size of the Subject will be provided at twice-daily intervals, in order to maintain the physical health of SCP-4346. Approved literature from list EXD-02 is to be provided as requested, though this privilege may be revoked in the aftermath of an intentional containment breach. At least two personnel whom have not had contact with SCP-4346 are to remain outside the containment cell at all times, in order to prevent a containment breach.

At no point should any former members or other anomalous items formerly belonging to the Global Occult Coalition be allowed near, or contact with, SCP-4346, unless under strict supervision and with direct permission of a member of O5.

Description: SCP-4346 is a mammalian, sapient creature that closely resembles Equus ferus caballus (commonly known as a horse) of an undetermined breed and diminutive size, though its' form bears a number of striking differences as well. Chief among them are the horn atop the Subject's forehead, along with a pair of wings halfway down its back. DNA testing has returned inconclusive results, only confirming that it is genetically related to equines but belongs to no specific species known to the Foundation. The Subject closely resembles a combination of both the mythological creature Pegasus, as well as certain interpretations of a unicorn. SCP-4346 identifies itself as female, and all tests so far undertaken have concluded that this is likely correct. The Subject is known to speak English with an accent of unknown origin, as well as several previously-unknown languages, the translation of which currently eludes staff assigned to them. SCP-4346 identifies as 'Twilight Sparkle', and maintains that it is currently a 'Princess'. The Subject is, unlike equines on Earth, capable of a wide variety of facial expressions and outward physical reactions, which correspond, for the most part, with that of a human.

SCP-4346 came to the attention of the foundation after routine testing of SCP-4866 *redacted* resulting in the disappearances of several staff members, including site director Doctor *redacted*. SCP-4346 was later found in site *redacted* in the library, where it was later placed in foundation custody. SCP-4346 claims to have arrived after testing a way to freely walk between worlds. It is unknown if this is the result of SCP-4866-1's effect, but testing has proven inconclusive.

Despite multiple escape attempts, aided by several sympathetic staff, SCP-4346 remains in foundation custody.

Interview Log #4346-1

Doctor J. Hamilton: Thank you for cooperation thus far SCP-4346. I know this is new for you, and I understand if you’re scared. Don’t worry, it’s just you and me in this room. I’m just going to ask you a series of questions.

SCP-4346: That's fine. Ask away.

Doctor J. Hamilton: What is your name?

SCP-4346: My name is Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship. May I ask where I am?

Doctor J. Hamilton: That's something I can’t tell you yet, Twilight, due to security concerns. Now, where are you from?

SCP-4346: I'm from Equestria. But… why am I a security concern? I'm just a pony...

Doctor J. Hamilton: No normal pony would just disappear into thin air, Twilight. We don’t know what you’re capable of. For all we know, you could be a very dangerous entity.

SCP-4346: I'm not dangerous. I would never hurt anypony!

Doctor J. Hamilton: Anypony? I’m not a pony. I’m a human. Don’t they have humans in Equestria?

SCP-4346: No, of course not. I never even heard of a human until I went through that magic mirror in Canterlot. Aren't there ponies here… Wherever here is?

Doctor J. Hamilton: Yes, but none of the ponies here have abilities like yours.

SCP-4346: Oh. I see.

Doctor J. Hamilton: Tell me more about your abilities.

SCP-4346: Oh, well, that's just my magic. It's common in Equestria.

Doctor J. Hamilton: And are there more like you?

SCP-4346: Yes, there are many ponies in Equestria. There's Pegasi, Unicorns, and Earth Ponies. I'm an Alicorn myself, but my race is very rare.

Doctor J. Hamilton: I see, and do any of the races share any of your abilities?

SCP-4346: Well, Alicorns are basically a combination of all the races. We have the ability to fly, like a Pegasus. We also have the ability to use magic like a unicorn. And we are just as tough as earth ponies.

Doctor J. Hamilton: I see. Well, we’re going to conduct some tests on you. Nothing harmful, I promise.

SCP-4346: I guess that's ok. I can understand your love for scientific research.

Doctor J. Hamilton: Then I’ll see you for testing tomorrow, Twilight.

Interview Log #4346-2

SCP-4346: Hello again, Doctor. How have you been?

Doctor J. Hamilton: I have been well, Twilight. And how are you holding up? I hope everything is to your liking?

SCP-4346: Well, I at least get to read here. I was worried I'd have nothing to do. Might I inquire as to if my friends are here as well?

Doctor J. Hamilton: I’m afraid not Twilight, at least not on this site.

SCP-4346: Oh… That's not what I was hoping to hear…

Doctor J. Hamilton: I can only tell you what I know.

SCP-4346: I understand… If you can, please look for them. They mean a lot to me.

Doctor J. Hamilton: I will try, Twilight. Let's look at your test results.

SCP-4346: Doctor, I really want to see if my friends are here. Could you please let me out? It'll just be for a little bit, I promise.

Doctor J. Hamilton: I can’t do that, Twilight.

SCP-4346, while crying: P-please, I won't be long, a-and I'll come r-right back...

Doctor J. Hamilton: Alright, I’ll have two security personnel escort you around the site.

SCP-4346: Th-thank you…

SCP-4346 began to walk out of the interview room. Upon exiting the room, there was a flash of magenta and a popping sound. When the light cleared, SCP-4346 was gone and had left two security department personnel stunned and temporarily blind.

Upon his recovery, Sgt. Macray radioed in that SCP-4346 had disappeared, and the site was ordered to go on lockdown.

After a few minutes of searching, SCP-4346 was found in the Light Containment Zone, appearing to be searching for something. It was caught and recontained soon after.

Addendum: After the incident, Doctor J. Hamilton was reprimanded for unprofessional conduct resulting in the near loss of SCP-4346, and was reassigned to *Redacted*.
