At the docks

Spike and Kion were sparing while Sarabi was watching them, Spike tried to deliver rapid punches at the mohawk lion cub but Kion blocked and counterattack the blows by doing a leg sweep, causing Spike to fall down "Ow, how am I gonna get good if I keep getting knocked down?" Spike asked "Believe me, Spike, I got knocked down numerous times when I first got into training." Kion answered "It would've been a lot easier if I could use my wings." Spike said as he got up "No outside help, Spike, the goal of this sparing match is to fight without wings or magic, continue." Sarabi said sternly as Spike and Kion got into their stance, Spike was the first to deliver a punch and uppercut but Kion blocked them, Spike then tried to deliver a roundhouse and a twist kick but Kion dodge and grabbed Spike's leg and slammed him into the docks "You're getting sloppy, Spike, perhaps it was a mistake to let you skip the basics." Sarabi said in a disappointing tone "But, Sarabi, I know about the basics!" Spike said desperately "If you know about the basics, you wouldn't get knocked down that easily, Spike, I know you're saying that because you used to train with that egomaniac but now you have to forget what she said because martial arts is not about fueling your ego, it's about learning how to defend yourself and learning about discipline." Sarabi said, she learned about why Rainbow Dash got into martial arts thanks to Spike and now Sarabi was teaching him about the deadly skills and discipline traits about her martial art "Are we interrupting something?" a smooth male voice said, then the three turned around and saw Mufasa, Twilight, and Simba who was carrying Uru in his arms "Aww, Simba, what a cute puppy, what's her name?" Sarabi asked "Her name is Uru, Fluttershy managed to get her for me from the animal hospital." Simba answered "You want to hold her, Mom?" Simba asked "Yes, sweetie, I do." Sarabi answered as Simba gave Uru to Sarabi

"So, how's the training going?" Mufasa asked "it's not going fresh on Spike's part as he's getting knocked down because of the so-called basics that the egomaniac taught him." Sarabi answered "At least it's not as bad as Dad's timing at explaining that he was alive all this time." Simba said as he crossed his muscular arms "And was does that mean?" Mufasa asked "I-- no we thought you were fucking dead and all this time you didn't stop by any sooner." Simba answered "I have my reasons." Mufasa argued "Bullshit." Simba said back "Would you boys stop it!" Twilight shouted "Stay the fuck out of this!" both Simba and Mufasa said, causing Twilight to shut up "And I once had to live with the fucking guilt that I was the one responsible for your death but thank God I learned the truth from one of the marines and I killed your brother because I had to free my home from his tyrannical fucking rule and I wanted revenge, and now I got it as my squad and I personally slaughtered him like a cow in the slaughterhouse and I have no regrets for doing so." Simba said, this surprised Mufasa, he knew about Simba's history of wanting to join the military but he never thought his son became a squad leader

"Remember the time you, your mother, and I were watching Full Metal Jacket?" Mufasa asked "Yeah, and I remembered the time that I wanted to be a soldier when we were watching all of those military movies, I wanted to make a difference." Simba answered "And I was man enough to reclaimed my birth home, something you didn't bother to do." Simba said, then Mufasa pushed his son off the docks and into the water "Mufasa!" both Sarabi and Twilight said in shock "He was asking for it." Mufasa said, then a tendril coming from Simba's paw grabbed Mufasa's leg and pulled him into the water, Sarabi and the others except Twilight were laughing at the scene "How do you like me now, fuck head?" Simba taunted "You bastard!" Mufasa shouted as he grabbed his son and started throwing him across the water, Twilight shook her head as the two lions were wrestling in the water "I swear that these two bicker like children." Twilight said as she drank her beer, Twilight was at the legal drinking age but she only drinks at a special occasion "Alright, Spike, since we're going back into basics, we should start with the punches." Sarabi said as she gave Uru to Twilight and started training Spike, the two lions got out of the water as Spike started delivering slow punches in the air with Sarabi's guidance.

Kion didn't join in as he already knew about the basics "Is there a reason why you wanna take martial arts, Spike?" Sarabi asked "I wanna to defend myself and my friends from trouble, I mean Twilight and the girls are heroes of Equestria, Simba is a former navy SEAL who was infected with the blacklight who killed one of Equestria's worst villains, and I'm the hero of the Crystal Empire just out of luck." Spike answered "Sometimes being lucky does help." Sarabi said as Spike continued doing slow basic punches "I realized we're taking this slow, why's that?" Spike asked "Because it helps out with the muscle memory, if you can follow the pattern on where you can punch, block, and kick in a slow manner then you can do it twice as fast, Simba does the same thing before he showers." Sarabi answered "What's the reason on why you want to defend your friends?" Sarabi asked "It's a secret." Spike answered

"Sometimes we have to tell our secrets in order to help anyone, especially if it means for the safety of others, now let's mix your punches up with a few blocks and kicks." Sarabi said as Spike followed her teachings and slowly preformed blocks and kicks "Alright, the reason why I want to defend my friends is because I feel useless around them, I sometimes never get to go on their adventures and I sometimes get left behind." Spike said in a somber tone "I can understand, Nala and Kion used to think about that, but Simba and I showed them that they had purpose and so do you, Spike, you're not useless." Sarabi said with wisdom in her voice "I remember you used to say that to me when I was a cub." Simba said as he grabbed Uru from Twilight "A child can learn a lot if they're guided right." Sarabi said as she showed Spike on how to block properly, Simba also remembered that when Nala was away at her secret hideout and he had to tell his mother about it just for safety reasons "I'll let you concentrate on the basics, you two, I need to get back with the others." Simba said as he went back with the others with Twilight following him.

Beach shoreline

Simba walked to where the others were, he found out that Discord, Fluttershy and Applejack were gone "Hey, Tia, where's Discord, Fluttershy, and AJ?" Simba asked "Discord took them back to Canterlot and he has a schedule to keep up." Celestia answered "Huh, never thought that the self proclaimed lord of chaos has a schedule to keep." Simba said as he grabbed another beer "Seriously, Simba, how are you able to drink that much and not get drunk, do you have an iron liver?" Twilight asked "Actually, Twilight, I don't have any internal organs anymore." Simba answered "What, how is it possible you don't have any internal organs?!" Twilight said frantically "Twilight, I'm infected with the blacklight virus, it mutates my body into becoming more resilient to damage and can evolve at a rapid level." Simba said as he opened his beer bottle and drank it, Twilight was having one of those what Celestia calls it a"knowledgeable student fit", Simba went towards Twilight, picked her up, and kissed her on the lips, Twilight got a massive blush and a wingboner from the kiss, Simba then broke the kiss "I thought you hated me." Twilight said confusedly "I don't, Twilight, I wasn't thinking straight at that time." Simba said as put Twilight down "So, you trust me now?" Twilight asked "Yeah, Twilight, I trust you, ever since you apologize to me, I decided I should give you a second chance." Simba answered "Who are you and what have you done with Simba?" Celestia asked sarcastically which caused the rest of the family except Shining Armor to laugh "I'm still the same guy." Simba said as he grabbed his beer "I know, sweetie." Celestia said as she kissed him on the cheek "You okay, Daddy?" Kiara asked "Yeah, honey, I'm just thinking about the time when you, Kion, your mother, and I went to the beach on our vacation." Simba answered "You missed Mom, don't you?" Kiara asked "I do, I just can't accept the fact that she's dead." Simba answered with tears in his eyes, Kiara hugged him and started crying in his shoulder "I miss her too, Daddy." she said between sobs as Simba returned the hug "Simba, Kiara, I know you feel guilty about Nala's death but you have to remember that it wasn't your fault." Celestia said, trying to comfort her lover and stepdaughter

"Who cares about your wife?" Shining Armor said, then Simba and Kiara started giving out death stares "What the fuck did you say, bitch boy?" Simba growled "I don't know why your stupid bitch wife had the excuse to marry you but she had made a mistake and that mistake was meeting you!" Shining Armor shouted then Simba punches the idiot unicorn in the face, everyone except Kovu cringed as Simba pinned Shining Armor to the ground with his knee and continued beating the ever living shit out of him "Simba, get off of him!" Cadence shouted as she tried to break the fight but Simba pushed her back "My wife's not a bitch, you're the one who's a bitch!" Simba shouted as he kept punching Shining Armor, Simba's fists were getting all bloody as he delivered the last punch, knocking some of Shining Armor's teeth out.

Simba got up and turned to Cadence "Why the fuck did you marry that loser?" Simba asked "Simba...?" Cadence said in shock "Is it because you thought of him to be caring and compassionate about everyone, is that why you married him?" Simba asked "Yes, Simba, I did!" Cadence answered "Well guess what, he isn't, all he cared about was being captain of the royal guard and marrying a princess just so he can have everything he ever wanted, he's also a spoiled brat who at that one time cared about a stupid fucking wedding more than his own sister!" Simba said as Cadence turned to Twilight "Is it true, Twilight?" Cadence asked then Twilight nodded "Well, what do you want me to do, Simba?" Cadence asked "Divorce his ass." Simba answered "What?" Cadence said in shock "Cadence, you're a smart, loving mare who deserve far more better than being that loser's sex toy, divorce his ass and forget that you ever had a relationship with him!" Simba said as he grabbed Uru and walked away, Twilight told Cadence everything about the royal wedding and how Shining Armor disowned her, Cadence almost cried, Simba was telling the truth that she married the wrong stallion "How could you do this?" Cadence asked "What?" Shining Armor said as if he didn't do anything wrong "How could you disown your own sister?" Cadence asked "But, Cadence, she was trying too ruin our wedding and that bastard is ruining our marriage!" Shining Armor whined like a spoiled brat "Simba was right, you are a spoiled, pathetic loser." Cadence said as she took off her wedding ring "You can forget about us being together again and if I were you I wouldn't let you come near me, Twilight, and Flurry Heart ever again!" Cadence shouted as she threw her wedding ring down and walked away with Twilight and Flurry Heart following her.

Simba's POV

Simba was walking next to the shoreline with Uru in his arms until Celestia teleported in front of him "You okay, Simba?" she asked "Yeah, I just lost it because bitch boy insulted Nala." Simba answered "I'm guessing that it was necessary for you to rip apart their marriage." Celestia said as she started walking next to the shoreline with Simba "Tia, I pry Cadence's eyes open to see who her so-called loving husband really is." Simba said, stating his reasons "I understand, Simba, believe me, I would do the same thing if someone insulted my family." Celestia said as Simba wrapped his muscular arm around her "Especially if they insult my parents and my kids?" Simba asked "Especially if they insult your parents and your kids." Celestia answered "Asante, Tia." Simba said as he kissed Celestia on the lips and continued walking next to the shoreline.
