Cloudy Days approached the train station her withers slumped over, she turned to the ticket booth pony, he was an older stallion with gray coat and white mane “One ticket to Ponyville please?”

The pony smiled “Of course ma'am that will be two bits.” Cloudy Days grabbed two bits out of her saddlebag and put them on the table, she felt tears in her eyes as she took the ticket.

The stallion asked concern in his voice “Are you alright?”

Cloudy Days smiled weakly “Don’t worry about me, I’m just another pony moving out of Canterlot.”

The stallion frowned “If you’re sure just stay safe, plenty of Unicorns and Pegasi who want to take advantage of an Earth Pony like you.” She nodded as she boarded the train, she had neglected her Earth Pony side quite a bit, she focused mainly on her magic and flight which had been taken from her.

She took a seat and watched as the city which had lived in for years vanished from sight, she slowly sobbed on the empty train car as she left everything she knew behind.

The train arrived in Ponyville, as she got out she saw a pink pony jump at her. She ducked and ran at the sight of her, the calls of “I just wanted to throw you a party” feel on deaf ears.

She bolted into the Golden Oaks Library and galloped up the stairs locking the door behind her, she sat on the bed tears flowing out of her “What have I done?!”

She heard knocking on the door, she trotted over to the door and opened it. Cloudy Dasys blinked as she looked at the mare “Who are you?”

The are smiled “I’m Starlight Glimmer and you’re Cloudy Days or should I say Celestia.”

Cloudy Days slumped over “So you know?”

Starlight nodded “Yes I do and that’s why I’m going to help you, it was only a few days ago that Twilight came to my village, I stole pony’s Cutie Marks trying to create a world free of them not realising how important they were. Then one pony with a yellow coat and pink mane showed me kindness for the first time in my life, she gave me a second chance when I didn’t deserve it.”

Cloudy Days was stunned, she thought she was alone and hated “Why are you doing so much for me?”

Starlight smiled “Because we are two ponies haunted by our mistakes, I have dreams that one day Fluttershy will die protecting me from my past. Take it one day at a time, learn, grow, be better and maybe one day you will become what you once were.”

Cloudy Days smiled weakly “Maybe you’re right.”

Starlight pulled her “Come on, there’s a party for you in Sugarcube Corner, all it needs is the guest of honour.” Cloudy Days blinked in confusion as she was dragged towards a weird cake looking shop, she then recognised it (Sugarcube Corner…, oh no)

The door opened as she saw pushed in by Starlight only to see Starlight in front with the rest of them “Welcome to Ponyville Cloudy Days.”

Cloudy Days collapsed to the floor as she began to sob, the last few of her tears dropping onto the ground onto the ground “Thank you so much, all of you.”

A Pink Pony held out a hoof with a warm smile “Come on this is a party, we have a cake all set up for you.”

Cloudy took her hoof with a smile “Thanks Pinkie Pie.”

Pinkie Pie smiled “You’re welcome, Cloudy Days, come over here and play pin the tail on the pony before we eat the cake, don’t want anyone to be sick.”

Cloudy smiled as Pinkie put a blind fold on her. Pinkie then gave her the tail,she held the tail in one hoof as she wandered around as soon felt around tripping over a few times before putting the tail somewhere. When Pinkie took off her blindfold she turned around and blushed from embarrassment as she pinned the tail on the opposite wall.

Everyone laughed before Pinkie smiled as she passed a knife to Cloudy Days, she cut into the cake with a smile before putting on her plate. She took a bit with a smile as the other ponies, Bluebelle smiled as she held out a hoof “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Cloudy Days smiled as she shook the mare’s hoof “Thanks, I am here to start again, my past wasn’t all that great.”

Bluebelle smiled “Well I better go and see what my coltfriend is doing.”

Applejack grimaced “Ah’m still unsure about her, last time we met it was under quite unfortunate circumstances. Still if they have been dating for three years Ah should give them the chance, the fact that she does good work on the farm is a good thing at least and she does have a real mind for numbers.”

Cloudy Days nodded, the party went on and Cloudy Days enjoyed herself thoroughly. She went to bed that night with a smile ready to open the Library the next morning as she planned to begin her new life unaware of the shadowy secrets Equestria has been hiding under everypony’s muzzles.
