Gohan stood there as Sunset Shimmer and her underlings stared back.

His yellow aura kept going...

Everyone behind him looked in utter disbelief...

What the hell happened to him?

"Twilight?" Spike asked, now on the ground.

"Yeah?" Twilight asked.

"Does that look like magic to you?" Spike asked.

"Yeah, but... I'm not entirely sure..." Twilight said.

Fluttershy was having a mental parade in her head.

'It's him! Aha! I knew it! Yes! He's going to save us all!' She thought.

The other girls just stared at her as she weirdly smiled...

"Fluttershy... You're oddly happy." Rarity said.

Fluttershy giggled...

Now the girls were a little freaked out by that...

Back to the main fight...

"What's up with your hair? What's up with your eyes!? Why'd you bring that!? Answer me!" Sunset demanded.

"One answer: It's all part of your demise." Gohan said grimly.

He let his aura instantly die out.

"My demise? Don't make me laugh. Snips. Snails." Sunset commanded, snapping her fingers.

Snips and Snails both snickered to each other, ready to fight.

Gohan didn't move a muscle, but was very focused.

'I'll have no problem dealing with these two. But Sunset Shimmer... She's holding a ton of her power back. I might have to give it my all, like I did with the Androids...' He thought.

Snips and Snails charged, running straight at Gohan.

"Right in my line of sight..." Gohan muttered.

Snips and Snails were literally right in front of him, about to hurl punches...

...Gohan glared at them intensely, and they were sent flying!

Using his kiai, that is.

He utilized his ki to affect the air currents around them to send two very powerful shockwaves from his eyes...

Snips and Snails were now about 20 feet away, down on the ground.

"Hey!" Snips yelled.

"What happened!?" Snails yelled.

"Did... Did he just... look at them?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Snips and Snails got up again...

"You have wings, idiots!" Sunset yelled.

Snips and Snails started using their flight, flapping their colored wings...

"Flight doesn't give you any advantage here." Gohan said.

"Do you hear yourself when you talk?" Sunset asked, smirking and crossing her arms.

Gohan grunted...

In an instant, he moved from his original spot to jump kicking Snips in the gut.

Snips hunched over, coughing...

Sunset was... pleasantly surprised.

She smiled a bit...

Snails responded instantly, throwing a fist at Gohan!

But, he instantly disappeared, and Snails ended up punching Snips in the cheek.

Snips was hit away...

"Uh oh." Snails said.

Gohan appeared right behind Snails, winding up his elbow.

He brought it right down on his neck!

Snails was sent flying down to the ground!

The combination wasn't finished yet!

Gohan instantly made his aura flare, and flew down to the ground before Snails could reach it.

He got on one hand and spun around.

Using the momentum, he smashed his foot into Snails's side!

Now, Snips hadn't been falling at the same speed as Snails, but right before he reached the ground, Snails smashed right into him!

The two rolled on the ground for a moment, groaning and moaning...

"Ow...!" Snips yelped.

"Get off me!" Snails yelled, trying to get up.

"No, you get off me!" Snips yelled, shoving Snails back to the ground.

Gohan scoffed.

"No team synergy in the slightest." He said.

'I need to quickly end this...' He thought.

Snips and Snails finally got up and nodded to each other.

They aimed their palms at Gohan, and blue aura surrounded them...

Then blazing fire came right out, aiming straight at Gohan!

Twilight knew this kind of spell...

"Move out of the way!" She yelled.

Gohan hadn't listened, he lowered his right arm to his waist, and it formed a blue blast...

He had bent his knees.

"Kamehame..."

"HA!"

He fired the small but immense blue blast to counter!

It immediately ate up the flames!

Snips and Snails looked utterly shocked as the blast approached them.

BAKOOM!

A small explosion ensued...

Everyone was shocked.

'He countered one of the most powerful fire spells!?' Twilight thought.

"That's so cool!" Pinkie said.

"How does someone utilize magic here...?" Twilight asked.

"Darling, we haven't even heard of anything like it." Rarity said.

Anyway, the explosion died down.

Snips and Snails were knocked out.

There was a small circle of destroyed concrete around them.

'Now for the big bad boss.' Gohan thought, looking up at Sunset Shimmer.

He took his arm back down to his side.

She just started clapping.

"Congratulations. You defeated two weaklings." She said, holding up two fingers.

"Of course. You gave them minimal power." Gohan said.

"Looks like you're not the dullest knife in the drawer." Sunset said, crossing her arms.

"I didn't even need Super Saiyan to defeat them, but I didn't want to take any chances." Gohan said.

"This 'Super Saiyan' power of yours is impressive. I didn't think anyone other than the Androids had power like this." Sunset said.

"But what's that compared to the power of the utmost Equestrian magic? This power is capable of overpowering Princess Celestia!" She gloated.

"I... don't know who and where they are, but I can measure your level of power." Gohan said.

Since Gohan looked indifferent about it...

"Hmph." Sunset said, smirking.

She made a red aura appear, and she emitted some intense winds.

Gohan was a little surprised...

'I'll really have to get serious about this...' He thought.

And the girls had a tough time dealing with the wind, shielding their faces with their arms.

In only a few seconds, it instantly stopped.

"My full power." Sunset said.

"You're nothing compared to this." She said.

"Don't underestimate me." Gohan said.

Then, he brought up and clenched his fist.

"I'll show you what my training has brought me!" He yelled, making his aura flare again.

He grunted loudly, and sparks suddenly appeared around him...

The ascended form appears once again...

The aura created some intense winds, and the girls had a little difficulty seeing...

Sunset gave that smirk again, pleasantly surprised.

"Wonderful. I'll give you an opportunity to pledge your loyalty to me. Join me in my conquest, or die." She said, aiming her palm at Gohan.

"No." Gohan said.

"Your choice, fool!" Sunset yelled, making her hand covered in blue aura.

Her eyes were also blue.

She created yet another fireball...

It was much smaller, but still dense.

Gohan instantly jumped up towards her, letting his aura die out.

The sparks remained, though.

Sunset fired!

Gohan kicked the ball away, and flew right at her!

"What!?" Sunset asked, right before Gohan smashed his fist into her face.

She responded angrily by punching him in the gut!

Gohan coughed, but recovered quickly.

He rolled around the fist to kick her right in the neck!

He then smashed his fist into her stomach, making her cough.

He then used both his legs to kick her upwards!

She was sent flying.

He made his aura flare, and flew around.

He dropkicked Sunset with one leg, and she was still flying.

He fell back a bit, putting his hands over another over his forehead.

"Masenko..."

A yellow blast formed in his palms.

"HAA!"

With that, a powerful yellow blast fired at Sunset Shimmer!

However, she recovered quicker than Gohan thought.

Sunset used her wings to dip and avoid the powerful beam.

It instantly diminished and fizzed out.

She had her hands emit a blue aura again.

It created another fireball...

"Take this!" She yelled, hurling the fireball at Gohan.

Gohan flew after Sunset, but maneuvered over the ball, dodging it.

Now Sunset flew right at him, and they flew everywhere at unimaginable speeds.

They clashed all over the sky.

Their attacks were colliding so hard that they formed shockwaves!

BAKOOM! BAKOOM! BAKOOM! BAKOOM! BAKOOM!

"Is he flying!?" Applejack asked.

"He doesn't even have wings!" Spike said.

"Is everyone else just as surprised as me?" Twilight asked.

"We haven't even seen anything like him..." Rarity said.

'I have... A bit.' Fluttershy thought.

Back to the fight...

Gohan dodged a high punch and punched Sunset right in the stomach.

His smaller size made it easier to exploit her vulnerable spots.

Sunset coughed and bent over, grabbing her stomach.

Gohan appeared right behind her, cupped his hands together and held them over his head.

He instantly brought it down on her back, and she was sent down like a meteor!

It's like the air around her formed visible rings as she fell down...

But she stopped herself from crashing into the ground by using her wings.

"Phew..." She sighed.

...But Gohan came crashing down on her lower back with a crushing knee!

She was smashed right into the ground!

Some of the concrete below cracked...

Gohan flew off her.

Sunset looked up angrily, seeing Gohan gently float down to the ground.

'Damn it! How is he this strong!? I can't... Wait... That's it.' Sunset thought, smirking.

She got a good plan cooking.

She flew up once more, held her hand out and made a black aura come from it.

Gohan readied himself for any kind of physical attack coming at him...

...But he didn't see this one coming.

"One of the most vulnerable parts of your body... Your eyes!" Sunset yelled, clenching her fist.

With that, Gohan's eyes were covered in black, and...

"GRAAAGH!"

He screamed in pain, covering his eyes with his hands.

He bent over...

"W-What did you do!?" He asked, taking his hands away.

He was blind...

Also, but the eyes were covered in some sort of blackish aura...

Sunset laughed...

"Hahahah! Caught you off guard!" She yelled, putting her hand down.

The aura disappeared.

"A blindness spell..." Twilight said.

"It makes the optic nerves invisible." She said.

"What!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"How is he going to hit her without seeing her!?" Rarity asked.

Okay, now Fluttershy was a little concerned...

'Oh no...' She thought.

Gohan tried to deal with the pain, it still hurt like hell.

"I-I can't let you... Dah!" Gohan yelped, his eyes hurting every time he opened them.

He covered them with his hands.

"How long does the blindness last for?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well..." Twilight said.

"Ooh! I know! It's for a few minutes!" Pinkie said.

"Y-Yes... But she can immediately put it back on..." Twilight said.

"And now it's time to die!" Sunset yelled, running at him.

She kicked his hands right off his face with her bigger foot.

Gohan had closed eyes, but the eyelids still had some sort of blackish color...

He lost his balance...

Sunset instantly moved behind him to slash her claws across his back!

Gohan recoiled forward, grunting in pain.

There were three slashes across his back, and you could see some blood...

Sunset Shimmer flew towards Gohan, kneeing the back of his head as she flew past him.

He ended up falling on all fours...

She flew away.

"Dang...!" He muttered with his eyes closed.

'Focus... You don't need your eyes to fight...! Forget the pain, it won't hurt unless you open your eyes!' He thought.

Sunset created another fireball with blue hands.

"Die!" She yelled, hurling it at him!

The girls gasped...

But Gohan didn't give up.

He dashed right at it!

He got down on one knee, and uppercutted the the fireball!

As of now, it just stopped the fireball's movement...

But, Gohan made his aura flare!

"HAA!"

He mustered the strength to jump and punch it right into the sky!

As it got farther and farther away, it twinkled.

"Darn you!" Sunset yelled, diving down at Gohan.

She threw a fist, but Gohan jumped to the side!

He had a yellow ki blast in his palm, and smashed it into her hip!

A tiny explosion, and she was pushed away slightly!

"Ugh... Lucky shot!" She muttered.

She threw a kick, which he blocked with his smaller arm.

"What!?" Sunset asked, right before Gohan jumped and smashed his fist into her face.

Sunset recoiled, and started flying backwards for distance.

"What...? How are you able to fight back!?" She asked.

Gohan let his aura die out.

"Unlike you, I don't have to rely on my sight in battle. I can sense your presence wherever you are." He said.

"What!? Grr..." Sunset growled.

"Cool!" Pinkie said.

"I know Princess Luna told us that this world wouldn't be able to defend itself, but I see something can defend it." Spike said.

"I thought magic never existed in this world..." Twilight said.

"Magic would explain his strange powers..." Rarity said.

"Pfft, it's not magic!" Pinkie said.

"Then what is it?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I don't know Asian language, but I know it isn't magic." Pinkie said with a smile.

"What does that have to do with...? Nevermind." Applejack said.

Back to the fight.

"No matter. I'll just have to take things seriously!" Sunset said.

Gohan readied himself for an incoming attack.

He got into a fighting pose, where his left arm is bent upward with this hand seemingly holding up two fingers, while his right arm tucked against his against his toward his torso.

He also bent his legs, keeping the right one forward.

Sunset made her eyes and hands glow blue.

She put her arms in a t-pose.

"Bet you won't escape this!" She yelled.

In an instant, fireballs formed all around her.

"I'm not going down without trying!" Gohan yelled, forming yellow ki blasts in his palms.

He lowered them both to his sides.

'I can't afford to just fly up there... Someone might get hurt.' He thought.

Sunset brought her arms down to opposite sides, letting the torrential rain of fireballs fall!

Gohan threw multiple ki blasts to counter!

Each collision made a tiny explosion and left some smoke.

Gohan charged some immense ki with his left hand...

The fireballs were getting close.

Then...

"Hragh!" He yelled, throwing his arm around from one side to the other.

In an instant, a wave of yellow ki appeared to destroy all the incoming attacks!

It was like a small fireworks show.

Sunset lowered herself to dodge the wave...

Then, Gohan started hurling tons of ki blasts at Sunset's way!

Sunset noticed something odd...

They had no real direction, and they were really easy to dodge and move around.

Eventually, she realized that she didn't even need to move.

"Uh... I stopped dodging, are you even trying to hit me?" Sunset taunted.

"No!" Gohan yelled.

"The heck do you mean 'No?'" Sunset asked.

Then she realized...

Looking around, all those ki blasts she dodged were all around her.

No escaping this.

"A special technique from my mentor..." Gohan said.

"Hellzone Grenade!"

He swung his arms together, and with that...

All the blasts came collapsing inward...

But, Sunset... smirked?

BAKOOM!

Huge explosion in midair!

"He got her!" Pinkie cheered.

The girls seemed happy, but Gohan?

'Damn, she blocked it!' He thought.

The smoke disappeared to reveal Sunset Shimmer with a red dome around her.

A magic shield...

"That won't work on me!" Sunset gloated.

Gohan appeared right in front of her...

He threw a punch!

The shield didn't budge, but Sunset instantly turned it off and used her flame breath.

Gohan didn't expect that, and used his arms to block...

He couldn't focus on any ki signature with all this energy around him...

Sunset instantly flew under her attack to grab his foot!

Then the fire died down.

She spun him around once, and hurled him horizontally!

She instantly appeared above where he'd be, and elbowed him right in the stomach!

Gohan coughed...

Sunset had her foot glow blue, and created a small fireball with it.

She brought it up, then down as an axe kick on Gohan!

The fireball was released, and pushed him towards the ground as he fell...

Sunset created a giant fireball above her head!

"I'll be the one to kill you!" She yelled, hurling the devastating ball at Gohan.

Combined with the original small one, now Gohan was on course for the ground beside the girls!

BAKOOM!

The explosion emitted some winds...

The girls put their arms up as a flimsy defense again.

"No!" Applejack said.

"Gohan...!" Fluttershy said, hoping that he was alright...

Once the smoke died down a tad, there was a very clear crater where the grass was...

"There's no way he could've survived that." Sunset gloated.

Fluttershy covered her face with her hands in sadness...

'No... He beat the Androids...! I think.' She thought, letting her eyes look, but covering everything below...

The smoke was dying out, but...

Gohan was stepping out from the crater, slowly walking out.

The left side of his orange shirt was ripped and fell, revealing more of the blue shirt.

Gohan's body was covered in all sorts of scratches...

But he still had that same serious expression.

Plus, the blindness wore off, so he could see again...

"He's alright!" Fluttershy said excitedly.

The rest of the girls lit up, too.

Sunset growled...

"You persistent snake..." She muttered.

'I can't beat him with all that...!? That was all my power!' She thought.

She had her hands emit a black smoke again, but Gohan wasn't taking the blindness again.

He threw a yellow ki blast before flying after it.

Sunset swatted the ki blast away, losing the spell and clashed her foot with Gohan's fist.

Gohan appeared behind her to punch her in the back.

Sunset responded with a rash turnaround punch.

Gohan easily moved around it, and kneed her right in the stomach!

Sunset coughed, but Gohan wasn't done.

Gohan punched her, then appeared behind her to kick her up...

As she flew, Gohan flew right after her, grabbed her clothes, and hurled her to the side.

He teleported a distance away from behind her, and flew right at her...

As he got close, he dropkicked her right in the back!

Sunset instantly bent over the other way, and you could hear some bones crack...

She gasped at the pain...

She was instantly sent flying towards the concrete...

She smashed into it, making the ground beneath her crack...

She landed in between the girls and the portal.

Gohan landed right beside her to grab her head, bring it up, and smash it on the ground!

CRACK!

The concrete shattered even more.

That seemed a tad brutal to our spectators...

Gohan didn't end it there, he brought her up again, and kept mercilessly smashing her down over, and over, and over again.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Sunset growled and her eyes briefly flashed white...

In an instant, a surprise white blast was unleashed on Gohan, sending him flying.

It got him off her, so it worked...

Gohan flew back down to the ground, ready to fight some more.

Sunset managed to stand up, slouching over tiredly.

"You...!" She growled.

'Damn it... How could he overpower me like this...!? It doesn't make sense...!' She thought.

"You can do it!" Pinkie cheered.

Gohan didn't respond.

It made Sunset mad, though.

'I'm at least taking someone out tonight!' She thought angrily, looking at Twilight.

Gohan dashed at Sunset once more!

So, in response, she took to the skies.

Gohan jumped and flew after her.

She put her hands over her head once more, and made another fireball.

Gohan stopped to start charging another one-handed Kamehameha.

Sunset hurled the fireball!

However, this time she did something vastly different.

She waved her arms around with a black aura around them to perform a teleportation spell.

She appeared behind Gohan before he could fire his Kamehameha...

Gohan noticed it a little too late.

Sunset cupped her hands together, held them over her head, and brought them right down on his back!

Gohan crash landed, adding more money for damages.

Sunset flew around her blast, grinning.

It was on course for the girls!

So, on instinct, they all huddled over Twilight once again.

Only this time...

It's a direct hit...

BAKOOM!

Gohan got on all fours, looking distraught at the damages...

"No...!" He yelled, slamming his fist against the ground.

...But now he's confused.

'How could I- Wait... T-They're still alive. They're... Wait, what's that energy?' He thought, looking ahead.

Sunset started cackling.

Victory for getting six people. What a successful conquest.

But, the smoke died down, and...

They had a magical purple barrier around them.

"What!?" Sunset asked.

"I'm not gonna lie... I'm just as confused as you." Gohan said, standing.

The girls realized that they were... Okay.

They all spread out and held hands except Twilight...

"The magic contained in my Element was able to unite with those that helped create it!" Twilight said.

Then the element of Harmony, or the crown started emitting magic towards the group...

And now they all started flying and transforming into their true furry selves.

They each got longer hair and lost their ears.

In place of that, they got pony ears painlessly.

Only Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Twilight received wings.

And Twilight got the biggest wings.

'Where did this come from!? They possess some serious power...' Gohan thought.

"Together with a crown, they create a power beyond anything you could imagine, but it is a power you don't have the ability to control! The crown may be upon your head, Sunset Shimmer, but you cannot wield it, because you do not possess the most powerful magic of all: the magic of friendship!" Twilight said.

Now they each grabbed each other's hands and got in a heart shape.

Then a double rainbow flew right outta them into the sky, only to go into a light and form one giant rainbow down at Sunset Shimmer...

Now this was an extreme surprise to Gohan, it was incredibly powerful.

"That slow attack won't work!" Sunset yelled.

She was ready to move out of the way, but-

Then Gohan suddenly put her in a full nelson, pinning her in place by holding her arms.

"Gah! Let go of me!" Sunset demanded, trying to move.

"This attack's hitting you whether you like it or not!" Gohan yelled.

"You're gonna die too!" Sunset yelled.

"I won't die." Gohan said.

The rainbow circled around her with sparks and stuff....

"No...! What!? Is!? Happening!?" Sunset yelled.

She could feel her power being stripped away...

'I feel like I'm tripping now...' Gohan thought, very confused at all this.

"Here and in Equestria, it is the only magic that can truly unite us all!" Twilight said.

Then a single rainbow zap went to Flash Sentry...

Which also moved to all the other students to knock them out of their zombie state.

And then two more rainbows for the unconscious Snips and Snails.

And just like that...!

Huge flash of light, all the girls are on the ground, and Sunset Shimmer and Gohan are no longer in the sky.

No rainbows anymore.

Spike woke Twilight up by licking her cheek, and so she sat up and he jumped into her embrace.

But there is another huge ass crater now along with the other huge ass craters.

Man, this is going to cost a fortune.

All the other girls got up to see what's inside...

Twilight got really close and saw Sunset Shimmer inside, completely powerless.

She was on all fours with Gohan standing beside her, looking down at her with pity.

But hey, at least she's completely healed!

Gohan still has those cuts, man....

But she is crying...

The fight is over, her plans have failed...

She is defeated.
