Everyone gathered around the crater Gohan and Sunset were in.

Gohan aimed a palm at Sunset, and formed yellow ki...

That elicited some gasps...

"What are you doing!?" Twilight asked.

Gohan looked up at her.

"Huh? What do you mean? I'm finishing her off." He said.

"You were actually going to kill her!?" Twilight asked, completely surprised.

"I don't want to have to deal with something like this again." Gohan said.

"I dislike fighting like this." He added.

"She doesn't possess the power to hurt anyone anymore. It's pointless to kill her." Twilight said.

Gohan took his hand back...

"If you insist." He said.

'Dad would let her go, but Piccolo and Vegeta would end it now...' He thought.

Now...

"Sunset Shimmer... You will never rule in Equestria. Any power you may have had in this world is gone. Tonight, you've shown everyone who you really are. You've shown them what is in your heart." Twilight said.

'Didn't Fluttershy say that everyone knows that she'd rule them until graduation...?' Gohan thought.

Sunset looked up at Twilight was tearful eyes...

"I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't know there was another way..." She sobbed.

"What?" Gohan asked.

"You're from another world. You had opportunities to make friends everywhere, but you chose to control everyone." He said.

"I didn't realize..." Sunset said.

"You didn't-... Whatever." Gohan said, ending it.

'That's stupid. If you're going to apologize, at least admit your mistakes.' He thought.

"The magic of friendship doesn't just exist in Equestria. It's everywhere." Twilight said.

"You can seek it out, or you can forever be alone. The choice is yours." She said.

Sunset pitifully crawled out from the hole to Twilight.

"But... But all I've ever done since being here is drive everyone apart. I don't know the first thing about friendship." She sobbed.

Then Twilight took her hand and stood her up...

"I bet they can teach you." Twilight said, referring to her friends...

Then Gohan leaped out of the crater and landed next to Sunset.

"I wasn't sure at first about sparing you, but... I guess I'll help you." He said.

Sunset sniffled...

"Thank you... I'm sorry that I..." She said.

"If it won't happen again, I'm not complaining." Gohan said, crossing his arms.

"...And I'm sorry that I had to put you through that pain. Now that you're totally defenseless, I won't do it again." He added.

"Those are my girls! Woo-hoo!" Spike hollered, clapping.

"Did that dog just talk? Whoa. Weird." Some guy said.

"Seriously? The talking dog is a weird thing about all this? There's that guy." Spike said, aiming a paw at Gohan.

Rarity picked him up and started scratching his ears...

"I, for one, think you're adorable." She said.

"Oh, yeah..." Spike said, enjoying this...

Twilight snickered a bit...

"I believe this belongs to you." Celestia said from behind, holding the crown all of a sudden.

Twilight suddenly turned around and got on one knee.

"A true princess in any world leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand with her." She said, placing the crown on Twilight's head.

"We have all seen that you are capable of just that. I hope you see it too, Princess Twilight." She said.

"I do." Twilight said.

For some reason, that sparked a whole bunch of-

"YAAAAY!"s and such.

Then Celestia turned her attention to Gohan.

Oh boy.

"Although we were under Sunset Shimmer's spell, we were able to witness your bravery and resolute valor in the face of despair." Celestia said.

"Oh, uh... Thanks...?" Gohan said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Thank you very much, Son Gohan." Celestia said, bowing her head.

"Er... You're welcome." Gohan said, not knowing how to respond...

'I didn't really do anything other than delay the inevitable... But I added damages because of this fight.' He thought.

The people just started clapping for him after that.

"But I do have to ask... How did you get that hair?" Celestia asked.

"It'll take a long time to explain it..." Gohan said.

'I'm a half alien, so... I don't want to freak you out any more than I already have.' He thought.

Then Flash just had to ask...

"Would now be a completely awkward time to ask you for that dance?" He asked, holding his hand out to Twilight.

Twilight looked at the moon, and...

'Yeah, I guess I got time.' She thought.

She giggled and took his hand.

What a big night.

Dancing, Rainbow Dash adding her wings to everything she did, music, Twilight spending time with Flash, and a group photo...

And Gohan conveniently waited outside, sitting on the steps...

He wasn't a Super Saiyan, and he was just resting...

He just waited to say his goodbye to Twilight and go home.

'Mom will kill me when I get home... She'll blame Fluttershy, and then I have to fight her unbeatable illogic...' He thought.

"...What are you doing out here?" Fluttershy asked.

She stood a little bit away from him at the top of the steps...

"I'm resting." Gohan said, not looking at her.

"Do you mind if I join you...?" Fluttershy asked.

"No, you can sit here." Gohan said.

Then Fluttershy took a seat beside him.

"...Why aren't you in there with everyone else?" Gohan asked.

"Well... I wanted to check on you... You've been out here all alone..." Fluttershy said.

"I'm fine... I'm tired, but I'm okay." Gohan said.

"...I thought you were really brave when you fought Sunset Shimmer..." Fluttershy said.

"I did nothing, you six are the ones who beat her." Gohan said.

"You saved us, and... and you really put up a fight..." Fluttershy said.

"If she didn't attack us, I think you would've beaten her yourself..." She said.

"Regardless, in the end, we won because of your powers." Gohan said with a smile.

"I'm thankful that there's something else really powerful to defend the Earth..." He said.

For some reason, that made Fluttershy feel powerful and optimistic...

"Speaking of which... What were those hair and beams?" Fluttershy asked.

"Super Saiyan and ki. Super Saiyan is very complicated... It's some legendary transformation that was passed down for thousands of years... I'll explain it to you later. Ki is life energy that can be used by all." Gohan said.

"Oh..." Fluttershy said.

"...I'm sorry I had to hide this from you for all this time." Gohan said.

"That's okay... I understand. You could've scared everyone..." Fluttershy said.

"Yeah..." Gohan said.

"You still left some really strange clues... Like changing the direction of the dodge ball with your hands." Fluttershy said.

"Yeah, see- I'm banned from gym because of that... I can't really suppress my strength to a normal level." Gohan said.

"Oh... I see." Fluttershy said.

"My mother hates it, but I sneak out sometimes to train in a wasteland." Gohan said.

"So... You want to build up that strength, huh?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well... Since it's peaceful times, I've been a little lenient lately..." Gohan said.

'Peaceful times? Oh, right. It's time to get him to remember me...' Fluttershy thought.

"...Did you fight the Androids?" She asked.

"Well, I had to say it eventually. Yeah. For over a decade, I fought them." Gohan said.

"Oh... Did you defeat them?" Fluttershy asked.

"...Yeah." Gohan said.

'I finally killed those heartless bastards.' He thought.

"Oh..." Fluttershy said.

"Did you defeat them at Pepper Town?" She asked.

"Yes, I d-... How'd you know that?" Gohan asked, looking at her.

"I was there that day..." Fluttershy said, looking back with a smile.

"Really? Where?" Gohan asked.

"I was right in front of the Androids... And then, a shining golden warrior with a gi just like yours swooped in and kicked one of them into a building..." Fluttershy said with that same smile...

Then, it hit Gohan.

"No... Y-You weren't... I... I remember you now..." He said, completely flabbergasted.

"Dah...! You were about to be killed by Android #17...!" He said, pointing at Fluttershy.

"I was scared for my life...but someone brave and powerful saved me... I've always wanted to meet you, but I never knew you were right in front of me this entire time." Fluttershy said.

"I can't believe that I... Oh... I'm really sorry that I didn't recognize you at first..." Gohan said.

'She was there that day!? This is a really weird coincidence...' He thought.

"To be fair... I was half and half about remembering you." Fluttershy said.

"Without the Super Saiyan look, I guess you couldn't really put a proper finger on it... I was too focused on the Androids, I was really hyped that day." Gohan said.

Fluttershy giggled...

"I think you look cute with the blond hair..." She said.

"W-What...?" Gohan asked, confused as to how that was cute.

'A warlike expression is cute?' He thought.

...Then Fluttershy wrapped her arms around him from the side...

'Uh...' Gohan thought.

"You're my hero... Thank you." She said, leaning her head on his shoulder...

Gohan kinda blushed from the side hug...

He was a little confused as to why she was being weirdly affectionate...

'Is... Is this...? What is this?' He thought, unable to move his arms because of her arms.

...

"...What are you doing...?" Gohan asked.

Then she realized what she was doing, and...

"Eep...!" She yelped, immediately breaking off and blushing.

The two just awkwardly looked away from each other and...

Yeah.

It is time to say goodbye to Twilight.

The group was outside the portal...

"Good luck in Equestria, Princess." Gohan said, holding a hand out for a handshake.

Twilight shook his hand.

"Oh, and, say hi to me on the other side. If you can." Gohan added.

"Well, I'll try to find the pony who can do all the things you can." Twilight said, taking her hand back.

"We haven't seen anything like it, so sorry if we can't find you." Spike said.

"You did hide this stuff from us until now." Rarity said.

"Yeah, we should've guessed it when you said you lived over 200 miles away." Rainbow Dash said, flying overhead.

Gohan just lightly chuckled.

"Good luck defending this world. Everyone needs you and your magic." Twilight said.

"Thanks, and... I don't use magic." Gohan said.

"You don't?" Twilight asked.

Gohan shook his head.

'Then how did he...?' Twilight asked.

"It's something called ki." Gohan said.

"It's in every living thing's body. Almost nobody utilizes it." He said.

Twilight then noticed Sunset Shimmer watching from afar, from behind a wall.

"You'll look out for her, won't you?" She asked, now getting everyone to look at her.

"Of course we will. Although I do expect some sort of apology for last spring's debacle." Rarity said.

"I have a feeling she'll be handing out a lot of apologies." Twilight said.

Vice Principal Luna handed Sunset a trowel, and a completely healed Snips and Snails came by with a wheelbarrow of bricks.

"I just hope she changes for the better." Gohan said.

'Otherwise... I don't even want to think about it.' He thought.

"We better get going." Spike said.

Time for the final goodbye...

"I know we've only been friends for a short time, but I'm gonna miss all of you so much." Twilight said.

Then she sighed before turning the other way towards the portal...

Spike followed her...

"That crown really does suit you, Princess Twilight." He said, adding emphasis on that princess.

"You know what, Spike? I am starting to feel a little more comfortable wearing it." Twilight said.

"And the wings?" Spike asked.

"I've been walking on two legs and picking things up with these!" Twilight said, showing off her hands.

"Wings? I'm thrilled that's all I'll be dealing with back in Equestria!" She said.

And with that, the two jumped into the portal.

And only a few seconds later...

The moon suddenly became a full moon.

Then the girls all just so happened to lose their pony parts...

And Rainbow Dash fell on the ground.

Pinkie Pie rushed to the portal to get those parts back...!

...But slammed into the slab and fell on her bottom.

"Oh, bummer!" She said.

"I don't know what you were expecting, she told us the portal would close like this." Gohan said.

"Ugh. Do you still have your powers?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Why wouldn't I? My powers are not dictated by magic." Gohan said.

"Hacks! I call hacks!" Pinkie said.

"It's not-... Whatever. I'm heading home." Gohan said, beginning to walk away.

"...Oh, wait, I almost forgot. I don't need to do this anymore." He said, stopping.

"What do you mean?" Applejack asked.

Gohan cupped his hands over his mouth, and...

"Nimbus!"

...

Suddenly, the Flying Nimbus came flying in, stopping right in front of Gohan.

"Woah!" Pinkie said.

"What is it?" Fluttershy asked.

"It's my Flying Nimbus." Gohan said, looking over his shoulder.

"Used to belong to my dad. This is my ride." He said, patting the seat.

"This is that Kinto'un I was referring to, Fluttershy." He added.

"Oh... I see." Fluttershy said.

Gohan jumped on and sat down.

"Why do you raise so many questions...?" Rarity asked.

"I'm full of surprises." Gohan said,

"That ain't a lie." Applejack said.

"See you all on Monday." Gohan said, waving his hand weakly.

Then he flew off at the speed of sound and the Nimbus left a yellow streak which instantly disappeared.

...

"Oh, come on, he rides a freaking cloud to school?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"How did none of us see it?" She asked.

"I think he just parked it really far away." Fluttershy said.

"Oh. Still..." Rainbow Dash grumbled.

Everyone is still waiting outside the portal...

Have they been waiting there for three days?

Then Twilight came through the portal on her hind legs...

Then she came back down on all fours.

Finally...

"Twilight!" Fluttershy said.

Then her friends all surrounded her.

"You're back!" Rainbow Dash said.

"You've got your crown!" Rarity said.

"I knew you could do it!" Pinkie said, hugging her.

"Oh, we were so worried." Applejack said.

"Sunset Shimmer, is she alright?" Celestia asked.

Twilight pondered about that before responding.

She thought about how a Super Saiyan 2 Gohan slammed her head on the ground numerous times...

But...

"I think she's gonna be fine. I left her in good hands." Twilight said.

...

"What are hands?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Oh, you know, those damn things you've mentioned a million times before this?

Then Spike flew into the back of Twilight.

"Oh, finally!" He said, getting a feel for his fingers again.

"Spike!" The rest of the cast exclaimed.

"Wait... Princess Luna, you said that the inhabitants of this other world couldn't defend themselves, right?" Twilight asked.

"Of course." Luna said.

"You were wrong. I met an extraordinary warrior who hid his powers from everypony until the fight against Sunset Shimmer." Twilight said.

"Really?" Rarity asked.

"Sunset Shimmer got the crown?" Celestia asked.

Twilight made her horn glow, and created a magical image of the fight she had just witnessed.

It had clips and bits of Gohan and a devil Sunset Shimmer going at it.

"His name was Son Gohan, and it wasn't magic that he used! Strange, right?" Twilight asked.

"Interesting..." Luna said.

"How is he flying without wings?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Is that what those things look like over there?" Rarity asked.

"Y-Yes." Twilight said, ending the clips.

"Son Gohan... I'm afraid I've never heard of such a name..." Celestia said.

"Perhaps he exists here in Equestria. He wanted us to say hi to him here." Twilight said.

"He could be a serious asset in the defenses of Equestria..." Luna noted.

"We'll find him later." Cadence said.

"Please, tell us all about the adventure you had there." She said to Twilight.

Twilight and Spike looked to each other...

And they each took a deep breath.

"So..." They began.

Back on Earth...

Gohan entered the house, and...

"Mother... I'm home..." He said weakly.

This was the kitchen, where Chi Chi and the Ox-King were dining.

"Oh my gosh!" Chi Chi yelped, standing right up from her chair.

"What happened to you!?" Ox-King asked.

"I got into a bit of a scuffle, but we won..." Gohan said.

"Oh dear, we need to get you bandaged up right away!" Chi Chi said.

Now Gohan is sitting on his bed, having his mother cover his arms, chest and head with all sorts of white bandages.

"Ugh, this is all that Fluttershy's fault! I should've never let you go!" Chi Chi said.

"Mom... It's not her fault." Gohan said.

"She couldn't have foreseen what happened..." He said.

"I don't care!" Chi Chi said.

"Mom, you can't unfairly demean her like that, she's genuinely a nice person with no malicious intent." Gohan said.

"It was the enemy who inflicted damage on me. They tried to kill her and my friends, so I had to fight." He added.

Chi Chi just grunted and kept applying the bandages.

"Does everyone know that you're a delinquent?" She asked.

Fun fact: In Japan, kids who dye their hair blond are considered delinquents.

"What do you mean...? Super Saiyan?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah, that. Super Delinquent." Chi Chi said.

"Sorry, but yeah. Everyone knows that I'm a Super Saiyan." Gohan said.

"Oh, I don't want them thinking that my poor baby is a delinquent..." Chi Chi said.

"I had to fight tonight, mom. I'm really sorry." Gohan said.

"Oh, it's fine... You're the only person left to fight for Earth... But your studies are more important!" Chi Chi said.

"Uh... I won't let my grades fall, but I think the world is more important than my studies." Gohan said.

"Nope!" Chi Chi said.

A dead Future Goku placed his hand on King Kai's shoulder.

"Yep. That's my boy." dead irresponsible father He said, taking his hand back.

"I'm proud of him." He added.
