Rarity knocked on the door...

"Is everything alright in there?" She asked.

"Everything's fine!" Gohan said, his voice slightly muffled.

"We're leaving in a limousine!" Pinkie said excitedly.

"Am I able to come out or are you not done yet?" Gohan asked.

"We're done!" Rarity said.

Then the door opened.

"Good, because you took two hours to- Woah..." Gohan said.

Everyone looked just fabulous!

But he ignored everyone else, he just focused on one person.

Fluttershy...

His cheeks very, very slightly burned up.

...But it wasn't noticeable unless you were right in his face.

'Holy... I mean, she looks flattering...' He thought.

"Impressed, are you?" Rarity asked, breaking his trade of thought.

"You all look amazing." Gohan said.

"You mean awesome!" Rainbow Dash said with a smirk.

"Awesome, too..." Gohan said.

"And beautiful!" Rarity said.

"Beautiful, too..." Gohan said, getting a little annoyed at the additions.

"And supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" Pinkie said.

"And super- What!?" Gohan asked.

"Is that even a word?" Applejack asked.

"It is, but it hasn't been used for a while..." Gohan said.

"When?" Fluttershy asked.

"Around the 1940s." Gohan said.

"Wait a second... Something seems off." Rarity said.

"What do you mean?" Gohan asked.

Rarity started looking around Gohan's body, and...

"Aha! Your footwear!" She said.

'Oh, dang.' Gohan thought.

"These are your boots! Why didn't you put on the penny loafers?" Rarity asked, reaching for one of the boots.

"Uh... Well, I wouldn't recommend taking that o-"

Rarity managed to get it off, but...

It was stuck on the ground, and Gohan's bare foot showed.

He wiggled his toes a bit.

She tried to lift the boot with both hands, but she barely lifted it.

About 2 inches off the ground...

She grunted a bit...

"W-What is this made of...!?" She asked.

"See, that's one of the reasons I didn't want you to take it off." Gohan said, kneeling down and taking the boot with one hand.

He stood up again, shocking Rarity.

"How heavy is that boot!?" She asked, standing up too.

"It's really heavy." Gohan said.

"Let me try." Rainbow Dash said, aiming her hands out.

"If you really insist..." Gohan said, walking over and handing the boot to her.

Rainbow Dash barely managed to hold it with two hands...

"Ack...! How do you walk around like this!?" She asked.

She grunted and bent her knees for support...

"It's a matter of getting used to it..." Gohan said.

"You don't wear socks?" Applejack asked.

"See, that was the reason why I'm not wearing fancy shoes." Gohan said, taking the boot back from Rainbow Dash.

She let out a sigh as soon as that happened.

"You'd destroy them with your bare feet..." Fluttershy said.

"Exactly." Gohan said.

"I mean that literally, don't you get blisters?" Fluttershy asked.

"Not anymore." Gohan said.

"You should've came prepared for that!" Rarity said.

"I'm really sorry..." Gohan said, putting his boot back on.

"If it helps, it ain't too noticeable." Applejack said.

"It's still not good, but I didn't want to ruin anything of yours." Gohan said to Rarity.

"While I don't agree with it... I'll let it go. I understand." Rarity said.

"I didn't even notice it... Rarity has pinpoint eyes." Fluttershy said.

"Anyway... We shall depart at once, the limousine is waiting outside." Rarity said.

"Oh, cool. My family could never afford that. At least nowadays..." Gohan said.

"Is it because they can only afford you eating like an elephant?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"No. Actually, perhaps... I know most of the reason is something vastly different." Gohan said.

The group started walking towards the door.

"Why can't your family afford it?" Fluttershy asked.

"That's a story for another day..." Gohan said.

'Grandpa's castle burned down with all his treasure... Or so dad told me. And mom ran out of the prize money for the World Tournament dad won, too.' He thought.

Ah, it's nighttime.

Fall Formal time!

Students were showing up in dresses and suits...

The moon was in it's waxing crescent phase.

Then the freaking limo showed up.

All the girls and one boy came out from the same door way in the back.

Spike even came with Twilight...

In a top hat and bow tie.

Gohan stood still as soon as he got out.

'Well, time to put my knowledge on mom and dad's relationship to the test... Which is doing absolutely nothing related to what they did.' He thought.

"What are you doing?" Fluttershy asked, at least 10 feet ahead.

"I'm just... Well, daydreaming, I guess..." Gohan said.

Fluttershy came back to him, and wrapped her hands around his bigger arm.

"We have to go!" She said excitedly, walking with him.

Gohan blushed, since he wasn't really moving himself at his will.

"U-Uh... Yeah...! We better...!" He said.

'I'm suddenly having the strange feeling of deja vu... What's this feeling?' He thought.

They went up the steps, with Gohan acting bewildered and Fluttershy kinda leaning on his arm.

Wow. In that one moment, Fluttershy wasn't shy for once.

Mostly because she felt protected around him...

Hmm...

Then Flash showed up in his cool lightning car.

Rich guy.

"Uh, Twilight!" He called, closing the door of his car.

Aw, he's got a neat tux.

Even has a rose! Ooh!

Apparently she stopped at the doors as everyone else went in.

Even her dog.

Flash ran up to her, jumping over two steps then another six.

Who is he, Mario?

"Look, I know you said no about going to the Fall Formal with me, but would you reconsider and at least have one dance?" He asked, he shrugged.

He blushed and rubbed the back of his head.

"I didn't say no... I mean, I did, but... I didn't mean no, to you." Twilight said, blushing and screwing up with her words.

"I was... Well, what I mean is... yes. I'd love to dance with you!" She said.

Then Flash leaned forward for an arm link...

Twilight instantly linked arms, and they walked forward.

...Only for Flash to walk into the door.

Flash gestured for Twilight to enter first, and he did.

He excitedly followed her inside.

Wow, what a dance.

The lights are dim, and there's colored spotlights everywhere.

Flash and his band were playing a rocking song onstage.

Everyone's dancing like there's no tomorrow except for that one awkward guy.

Yeah- Gohan.

Even Spike's dancing, hah!

I mean, he's just standing right next to Fluttershy dancing who's next to Rarity who's next to- You get it.

At least the dimmed lights made it hard to notice him...

Flash Sentry and his band were onstage, with him playing guitar and the others playing drums and electric piano.

Then Twilight had to ask...

"Anybody see Sunset Shimmer?" She asked, lightly dancing.

"Maybe she was too embarrassed to show! She's gotta know you won by a landslide!" Rainbow Dash said, freaking dancing everywhere.

"Maybe..." Twilight said.

"Actually, she's just outside." Gohan said.

"Oh... Then she's here." Twilight said.

"Why aren't you dancing?" Fluttershy asked, ending her dance.

"I'm... not a dancer..." Gohan said, rubbing the back of his head.

Then someone bumped into him as they walked away.

"I-I think you can try... If you want to." Fluttershy said.

"Uh... Okay..." Gohan said.

He just balled his fists and put them in front of his stomach.

Then he just swung them up and down as he leaned from side to side.

"That's the spirit." Fluttershy said, doing that exact same thing.

Only with more enthusiasm.

"This feels weird..." Gohan said.

"I mean... I don't like the thought of other people looking at me..." Fluttershy said.

"I guess that's what I'm feeling right now..." Gohan said, looking around.

Randomly ancing all over the place seemed normal for everyone else, but he felt out of place just doing that tiny dance.

"Don't worry... If it helps, I think you look cool right now..." Fluttershy said.

'Rainbow Dash is rubbing off on me...' She thought.

"C-Cool...? Do I look cold?" Gohan asked, taking it literally.

Fluttershy giggled.

"No, I mean cool as in... Nice? Awesome?" She asked.

"Oh, right... Sorry." Gohan said, kinda feeling better.

...But then Scootaloo bumped her elbow into his back while doing a chicken dance.

Then Rainbow Dash was showing her moves for some random reason, and started spinning around.

"Woo-Hoo!" She yelled, blindly throwing a roundhouse kick at his head.

"Ack!" Gohan yelped, ducking and kicking his legs repeatedly.

A Cossack dance, it seems.

"H-How are you doing that?" Fluttershy asked.

"It's utilizing both my legs to jump individually! I don't know why I'm still doing it!" Gohan said, a little confused.

He stopped the kicking, but he kept squatting with heels down on the ground.

"That looked like a good dance..." Fluttershy said.

Rainbow Dash looked down at him, not dancing.

"I was about to say sorry before you started that..." She said.

"Don't keep doing that dance, you'll hurt someone." Gohan said, looking up at her.

"It's hard to take that seriously when you're down there and squatting." Rainbow Dash said.

Gohan finally stopped squatting and did a tiny hop to get back to is feet.

"Sorry, I need to use the bathroom..." He said, walking away.

'No disrespect, but I'm feeling really awkward right about now... Plus, I really need to go use the bathroom.' He thought.

'Is he alright...?' Fluttershy thought.

'Does he even want to be here? Oh... I hope he does... If he doesn't... What does he think about me?' She thought, afraid to be a nuisance to him.

Then the song ended with Flash having a stroke on the guitar.

Claps, claps.

Micro Chips handled the lights and sounds, so he turned off all the tiny colored lights to turn on all the regular lights.

The stage was lighted up, with Flash and his band walking away.

Celestia was coming onstage with Luna.

"First off, I wanna say how wonderful everything looks tonight." Celestia said.

"You all did a magnificent job pulling things together after the unfortunate events of earlier. And now, without further ado, I'd like to announce the winner of this year's Fall Formal crown." She said.

Luna was next to her with an opened chest, with the crown inside.

Ooh...

Tense moment!

Luna handed an envelope to Celestia, and she opened it.

"The Princess of this year's Fall Formal is..." She said.

Dramatic silence for suspense!

"...Twilight Sparkle!" Celestia said.

Then everyone cheered.

Holy shit, did everyone cheer.

Twilight and Rarity were locking fingers, Applejack and Pinkie hugged, and Rainbow Dash grabbed Fluttershy by the hips and shook her for some reason.

But she stopped that and went to Twilight to congratulate her.

Fluttershy also instantly forgot about it.

Twilight walked up to the stage...

...But Snips and Snails came in unannounced, wearing their usual attire, but also with a bow tie and a fake tie shirt.

And top hats!

Twilight walked up to Celestia, who held the crown.

"Congratulations, Twilight." She said, placing it on her head.

Aww...

...

"Twilight! Help!"

"Spike?" Twilight asked.

Apparently Snips and Snails were about to leave with Spike...

He was trying to scratch the shit outta Snips and growling.

But he and Snails left in a flash.

Twilight jumped off the stage and ran.

"They've got Spike!" She yelled.

She burst through the doors in pursuit.

Snips and Snails were now running, and took a sharp left turn.

Twilight ran a little too forcefully, because now she slid right into the lockers.

They just waxed the floors, see.

All but one of her friends followed her!

Now the six of them were chasing Snips and Snails!

They just happened to pass Trixie by the vending machine...

Snips and Snails ran out the side exit, and so Twilight followed that.

They went around the school and towards the main entrance.

Then they rushed to the Wondercolts Statue.

Then Sunset stepped out with a sledgehammer...

"That's close enough!" She yelled.

Oh shit! She's gonna destroy the portal!

Twilight and her friends had to stop in their tracks.

"Twilight!" Spike called, until Snails grabbed his jaw and muzzle and shut him.

"Don't hurt him!" Twilight yelled.

"Oh, if you want that so badly, then relinquish what I desire." Sunset said.

"Give me the crown, and you can go back to Equestria tonight, along with your precious little dog. Or keep it and never go home, and never see him again!" She yelled, really ready to swing at the portal.

It's an ultimatum...

If she gives up the crown...

Then Equestria has lost it's defenses.

If she keeps the crown...

Same thing.

Plus, her dog will have his neck snapped.

See, this is the logical thing for Sunset Shimmer to do.

Blackmail!

"Tick-tock, Twilight. We haven't got all night. The portal will be closing on its own in less than an hour. If you don't hurry, your precious dog will be killed. So, what's your answer?" Sunset asked.

Spike was trying to speak to her, but he's too weak.

Well, after thinking about it...

"Fine..." Twilight said, admitting defeat.

I mean, it's hard.

"Wise choice." Sunset said.

Her friends were kinda sad to see her stuck like this, but it's somewhat reasonable...

Twilight took the crown off, and... Held it out to Sunset.

Sunset swiped that instantly, adoring it.

"Okay, so, what's going on here?" Gohan asked, appearing out of nowhere.

"Jesus!" Pinkie yelled.

"No, it's just me..." Gohan said.

"How nice of you to join us." Sunset said, with the same evil smirk.

"Why do you have the crown? And Spike...?" Gohan asked.

"Oh, don't worry, I was about to give him back. Let him go." Sunset commanded.

Then Snips and Snails dropped him, and he rushed to Twilight.

"Spike...!" Twilight said happily, getting on her knees.

"Twilight!" Spike said happily, jumping up into her embrace...

"...You shouldn't have done that!" He yelled.

"Well, I had no other option!" Twilight said.

"Don't you remember what Princess Celestia said!? Sunset Shimmer will wreck havoc here!" Spike said.

"Wait, what!?" Gohan asked, very surprised.

"Uh... Oh... No...!" Twilight said, realizing her fuck up.

It was at this moment she knew... She fucked up.

Sunset Shimmer laughed to herself.

"At last! More power than I could ever imagine!" She said.

"What kind of power!?" Gohan yelled.

"You'll see soon enough!" Sunset said, placing the crown upon her head.

Then, in that instant, the element of Harmony glowed black and blue.

It created weird circles around her...

Then, an explosion of blue aura emerged!

"Oh no...!" Gohan said.

It went really high up...

She was being carried up into the sky by it!

Everyone couldn't see too well...

Blocking the light with their arms didn't do much.

The light managed to get other students to come outside to see this.

Sunset Shimmer, inside the aura, teared up in the pain.

But, her eyes suddenly glowed white, and her physique changed dramatically!

Plus, she got an immense power boost!

Now the aura completely fizzed out, and now Sunset Shimmer was in a crimson and fiery aura...

Which instantly died out.

She had red wings, fiery clothes, devilish eyes and claws for hands.

She became twice as large, and her eyes were black with blue pupils.

Overall, she looked devilish and fiery...

Holy crap.

"Where did this power come from...!?" Gohan asked.

"I completely forgot about the magic...!" Twilight said, standing up and holding Spike.

"This is the power of magic!?" Gohan asked.

Then Sunset Shimmer cackled loudly as the thunder roared.

She loved her new power!

Then, she charged two blue orbs with her hands using the power of the element.

She fired at Snips and Snails, and they were absorbed by blue orbs.

They created flashes of white light!

Instantly, the orbs disappeared.

They were given some of her power and the same kind of devilish forms...

Snips was blue, Snails was orange.

They look like Vegeta ripoffs with wings.

"This is gonna be so cool!" Snips said excitedly.

Gohan had to lead the charge somehow...

But how?

He accepted in that instant that his powers couldn't be hidden.

"This isn't good..." He muttered.

Some students started running away!

...But once Sunset Shimmer stared at them with her crown emitting a black and blueish aura, along with black smoking eyes, they rushed back inside the school.

Closing the doors...

She landed right in front of the stairs...

"I've had to jump through so many hoops tonight just to get my hands on this crown, and it really should have been mine all along." She said angrily.

"But let's let bygones be bygones. I am your princess now, and you will be loyal... to me!" She yelled.

She waved her hand around with blue magic, and clenched it into a fist.

The entire front entrance doors was crushed to pieces!

Sunset hurled the rubble aside!

Now that she flew down into where the doors were.

She started using her magic to make her eyes glow blue.

In turn, every student but our main seven was put under a mind spell!

They were under her control!

They acted like zombies, groaning and moaning, and they had blue eyes too.

"Round them up and bring them to the portal!" Sunset demanded Snips and Snails.

"No, you won't!" Gohan yelled.

He jumped really high up!

Then, he came crashing down on her neck with a knee!

It didn't really do much, but he jumped in front of her to confront her head on.

He was about 60% her size...

"Woah! He jumped really high!" Pinkie said.

"Hah! Your power is so weak! I think you forget who your ruler is!" Sunset yelled.

She tried using her mind again, making her eyes glow blue...

...But it had no effect on him.

Gohan jumped and threw a fist at her face!

Sunset felt it only a bit, and got only pushed back a back.

Gohan got back on the ground, ready for anything to come at him!

"I'm surprised my magic had no effect on you! My compliments. However, your muscles aren't anything compared to magic!" Sunset yelled.

Gohan grunted angrily...

"The key is speed, strength and willpower!" He yelled.

He jumped towards her and threw a kick upwards!

Sunset dodged fairly easily, and flew back up.

She was above Snips and Snails now.

"Spoiler alert: I was bluffing when I said I was going to destroy the portal. I don't want to rule this pathetic little high school; I want Equestria! And with my own little teenage army behind me, I am going to get it!" She yelled.

"No... You're not!" Twilight yelled.

"She's right." Gohan said, suddenly appearing in front of the group again.

"H-How did you...?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Oh, please! What exactly do you think you're going to do to stop me? I have magic, and you have nothing!" Sunset yelled triumphantly.

"She has us!" Rainbow Dash said.

Then her friends looked mean and ready to fight!

They came to her side, all behind Gohan!

Sunset started laughing.

"Gee, the gang really is all back together again." She said, laughing some more.

"I've been through some training that'll keep us alive. I took my father's role as protector of this planet, and I won't let you destroy anyone!" Gohan yelled.

"Hah! Against the magical power of an Element of Harmony? Don't make me laugh. Now step aside." Sunset said.

She had her eyes glow blue again, but she created a small but dense fireball in between her palms...

Then she held it over her head, and it became a REALLY huge fireball!

"You have interfered with my plans one too many times already! You're all powerless!" She yelled.

She hurled that son of a bitch at the group!

All the girls hugged each other for a final defense...

But Gohan?

He put his hands by his side, charging up the Kamehameha.

He had a white aura surrounding him...

"I'll show you just how much of a fight I can put up!"

Then he aimed his palms at the fireball.

"Even just by myself!"

With that, he fired the Kamehameha right into the blast!

It actually managed to stop the fireball's movement...

They collided, making blue and orange sparks fly.

But it was taking a lot out of his regular form...

He kept grunting loudly...

Sunset Shimmer cackled.

"You think you can win with that kind of power?" She asked.

She aimed her hand towards the blast.

Her hand emitted a blue aura, and more power was instantly put into it.

Gohan's blast was being pushed back...

"Ngh...!" He grunted, since the blast was literally eating up his own with ease.

It was pretty fast.

Then, eventually, he found it impossible to use the Kamehameha and now had to use his hands to 'delay the inevitable.'

"No...!" He yelled.

The scorching ball was being held back by Gohan.

It was a struggle. He had to prevent the blast from hitting his friends and destroying the school!

Inch by inch, he was slowly being pushed back. His boots grazed the ground beneath him.

Eventually, Gohan kinda lost his grip for a moment, and the ball moved onto his chest.

"Gr...Graagh!" He yelled.

The fire burned the front part of his suit...

It also pushed him back a little faster.

Gohan finally pushed it back, but he pushed himself back in the process...

The fire burned his sleeves off, revealing the weighted wristbands and part of the weighted shirt underneath.

It also kinda burned his pants in the front, also the revealing some of the orange pants in the front.

Then the girls finally looked to see Gohan struggling to push it back...

"What are you doing!?" Rarity asked.

"You'll die!" Twilight yelled.

"No... I won't!" Gohan yelled.

"You're still going at it? It's already over!" Sunset taunted.

Gohan let his yellow aura flare...

"It's... Not... Over!" He yelled, managing to push the fireball back.

"What is he doing...!?" Fluttershy asked.

In an instant, Gohan shined brighter than the fire.

"This is the power of a Super Saiyan!"

Making everyone else around avert their eyes once more.

He turned into a Super Saiyan!

In an instant, he was able to push the blast back quickly.

"GRAAAH!"

He yelled, actually kicking the damn ball at Sunset Shimmer.

She was shocked, but nevertheless moved out of the way to dodge.

"What the!?" She asked, looking down at the Saiyan.

He had a yellow aura, an angry face and now more defined yellow hair.

Snips and Snails were very confused...

Once the girls finally opened their eyes...

Fluttershy gasped.

"It... It's you...!" She said, pointing at him.

The man who saved her, yes.

"W-What happened...!?" Twilight asked.

"What makes you think we know!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"You possess magic...? That's strange. It stands no chance against my magic, I'm afraid." Sunset gloated.

"I don't know about any magic, but..." Gohan said, grabbing what was left of his suit.

He ripped it off, fully revealing the gi underneath.

Rarity gasped angrily.

"Those who don't value the life here will be taken down. I'll be the one to defeat you!" Gohan yelled.

It's time to fight...

Gohan has shown his power, but it's time to put it to the test!
