It's the day of the Fall Formal.

But it's Friday, and it's still a school day.

It's lunchtime...

So far, only five people were wearing the CHS sweater and fake pony ears/tail.

Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.

Twilight wasn't there yet, she's coming later.

Gohan was not participating- He doesn't sing.

Well, they were all separated, with Pinkie being the only one in the lunch line.

All the students were conversing and eating...

Pinkie started banging a lunch tray to a certain beat.

Bam, bam-bam.

Rarity stomped her feet to the same rhythm...

Only going both feet, then one at a time.

She then clapped her hands to the same rhythm.

Fluttershy did the same with two glass cups.

Applejack started doing the same, clapping and banging her hands on the table.

Rainbow Dash did the same thing as Pinkie Pie with her lunch tray.

Then Spike happened to be in the corner with a speaker with an MP3 player attached...

He hit play, and now the beats and sounds were being played for them...

Then they jumped up and started singing!

(Forgive me, I wouldn't change much. Call it laziness or not; I don't want to bore you with the literal exact same thing with tiny droplets of Gohan clapping for something.)

Success.

Everyone's practically set on voting for Twilight!

School pride is at an all time high.

They're singing and everything!

Sunset Shimmer's plans are failing...

And she noticed this.

She was watching this debacle of singing and dancing...

Behind a door.

For some reason, her own subordinates were dancing behind her with those fake pony parts.

"Take those off!" She demanded.

Snips and Snails instantly hid their fake pony parts.

"I have something I need you to do." Sunset said with an evil smirk.

It's a last ditch effort...

The bell rang, classes are over.

Everyone is wearing those pony ears and tail!

Well, Gohan refuses, obviously.

It's like they're all furries!

Our main cast of seven were walking through the hallway.

"I still can't get over the fact that you all have beautiful singing voices." Gohan said.

"Thank you..." Fluttershy said.

"You keep telling us that, why!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I haven't listened to music in years. Or... Actually, since I was a toddler... I think." Gohan said.

'When have I ever listened to music?' He thought.

"Why didn't ya join?" Pinkie asked.

"I'm embarrassed to sing." Gohan said with a nervous smile.

"Doesn't everyone look just fabulous?" Rarity asked.

Again, bunch of furries.

"It was a great idea, Rarity!" Twilight said.

"And... Thanks for your help." She said to Gohan.

"Me? What did I do?" Gohan asked.

"Your request for omission was perfect!" Twilight said.

"Oh! Uh... The main reason was that I didn't want attention, really..." Gohan lied.

Well, half lied.

"...Anyway... You're going to the Fall Formal, right?" Applejack asked.

"Yeah." Gohan said.

"Please promise me you'll wear proper attire... You wear the same thing over and over again, I'm surprised you don't stink." Rarity asked.

"I have tons of these gis, and I know how to retain proper hygiene." Gohan said.

"Although... I might have some trouble coming here tonight..." He said.

"How come?" Fluttershy asked.

"Apparently my mother is scared that I'd be taken away from her or something along those lines. Don't know why, exactly." Gohan said.

'Oh... I-I don't want to do any of that, Mrs... Er.. Son...! Or Gohan...? Is that his first or la- My head hurts thinking about this again.' Fluttershy thought.

"Ooh! Someone has a date!" Pinkie said.

"A date?" Gohan asked, confused.

"Wait... You didn't know?" Fluttershy asked.

"I know what a date is, but who am I going with?" Gohan asked.

Fluttershy was just shocked as to how stupid he sounded.

"...Oh, wait... Oh!" Gohan said, finally realizing.

He looked at Fluttershy, who in turn just looked completely shocked at his stupidity.

"I'm a moron..." He muttered, facepalming himself.

'I'm 23, she's freaking 16!' He thought.

That isn't exactly why Fluttershy was shocked, she doesn't know that about him.

"No, it's alright..." Fluttershy said.

"Well, perhaps she doesn't have to keep you home if you can't go." Rarity said.

He took his hand off his face.

"What are you insisting? That I shouldn't go home to ensure that I can go?" Gohan asked.

"Precisely." Rarity said.

"Then how am I going to get my suit?" Gohan asked.

"Not to worry. I will fashion you a brand new one! In fact, I'll make proper attire for all of you!" Rarity said.

"Are you sure!?" Gohan asked.

"Rarity is a fashionista..." Fluttershy said.

"She has dresses for anything. Suits, too. She has a business." Applejack said.

"Oh. If it's not too much trouble, then...?" Gohan asked.

"Of course. Just come with us when we leave school." Rarity said.

"Actually, I don't want to make my mother immensely angry, so I'm going to go home first..." Gohan said.

"How long will that take?" Rarity asked.

"It depends on how fast I f- I mean... Half an hour." Gohan said.

Then Applejack noticed Sunset Shimmer and her goons strutting across the hall.

Looking pompous.

"Don't know what she's smilin' about. Twilight's the one that's gonna be Princess of the Fall Formal." Applejack said.

They were still able to scare the bejesus outta everyone nearby.

Our seven passed them as they went to Vice Principal Luna's office.

Sunset knocked on the door...

Then she put on an act.

Luna came out through the door, and Sunset was all sad and ugh.

"Vice Principal Luna! Something terrible has happened!" She said, really fooling her.

Holy shit.

What happened to the fucking gym!?

It's ruined to shit!

The disco ball was torn open, nearly every table was smashed or flipped over, chairs were broken and there's messes of drinks and snacks everywhere.

"Isn't this just awful? And after Pinkie Pie worked so hard to make things so perfect! Why would Twilight Sparkle do something like this?" Sunset asked.

What an act.

"Why would you think Twilight was responsible for something like this?" Luna asked.

It was odd, how could she-

"Because I have proof." Sunset said, handing Luna a file of pictures.

Flash Sentry just so happened to listen in on that...

He raced away.

What was he gonna do?

Wow, Luna has a dark room.

Why aren't the lights turned on?

Anyway, Twilight was sitting down...

"But... But I don't understand!" She said.

Luna showed Twilight the photoshopped pictures of her destroying the gym.

"This is clearly you in the photographs, is it not?" She asked.

"Yes, but..." Twilight said, unable to retort.

"I think it should be fairly obvious that the school cannot let someone who would do something like this compete for the Fall Formal crown." Luna said, putting her hands on the table.

How could Twilight respond?

She knew she didn't do it, but denying it wouldn't help against this fabricated evidence.zip!

Yeah, she was ready to throw in the towel.

Until...

Knock knock knock.

The door opened, and it was Flash Sentry!

He had photographs?

"Vice Principal Luna. I found these in a trash can in the library." He said, handing them to her.

It was photos of Twilight playing soccer, but with her cut out.

Luna started combining the pictures to fill the gap, and it matched.

"Thought you should see them. Someone obviously combined these photos to make it look like Twilight was the one who trashed the gym." Flash said.

"I appreciate you bringing this to my attention, Flash." Luna said, going over to sit down in her chair.

"In light of this new evidence, you may of course continue your bid to be crowned the Princess of the Fall Formal." She said.

Twilight was joyful!

Very happy!

She ran up to Flash and give him a big hug.

The blinds of the windows somehow went up to let the sunlight in, and the room lit up.

"Thank you! You have no idea how important this is to me!" She said.

...Then she realized that she was a bit close, so she blushed and backed away.

Flash played it cool, though.

He stuck his hands in his jacket pockets and chuckled.

"What was I gonna do? Not prove your innocence? Wouldn't be much of a Canterlot Wondercolt, would I?" He asked.

"I am afraid enough damage has been done to the gym that we will have to postpone the dance until tomorrow night." Luna said, standing up.

She walked out the door.

"If you will excuse me, I need to let my sister know about this latest development." She said.

Now that the two lovebirds were alone...

"So, uh, I was wondering. If you aren't already going with somebody, wanna go to the Fall Formal with me tomorrow night?" Flash asked.

Twilight blushed, and looked up at him with puppy dog eyes.

"That would be..." She said.

Then she realized...

"Tomorrow night!? No, no-no-no-no-no, no no no no no! Nonononono! I can't! The portal! That'll be too late!" She exclaimed, grabbing her bag and running out the door.

Now she ran in the hallway, and Flash just got out.

His heart was kinda broken...

"One 'no' would have been fine!" He said.

Then he walked off in despair...

For some reason, Twilight just so happened to know the location of Rarity's boutique...

She bolted inside, where her girl friends were about to try stuff on.

Gohan wasn't there yet.

Anyway, she ran into a changing booth and quickly closed it.

She dropped her bag on the chair and sat against the wall on the floor...

Spike jumped out from the bag.

Rarity was concerned...

"Everything okay in there?" She asked.

"Yes!" Twilight said loudly.

Then she was just speaking with Spike.

"Only it's not okay. It's not okay at all! If I don't get my crown tonight, I won't be able to go back to Equestria for another thirty moons! Oh, what are we gonna do...?" She asked, completely lost.

"Hmm... Tell them the truth. Let them know what's really at stake if you don't get the crown tonight. They'll help us figure somethin' out." Spike said.

"But what if they won't? What if when they find out how different I really am...?" Twilight asked.

"Twilight, they rallied around you 'cause they saw what was in your heart. They aren't gonna feel any differently about you when they find out you're a pony princess in Equestria." Spike said.

...That made Twilight feel better.

"I'm glad you followed me here, Spike." She said, petting him.

"Me too. Unless, of course, we get stuck here for another thirty moons." Spike said.

Outside the booth...

Gohan finally came in, and the bells rang.

"That was quick." Rarity said.

"Yeah, she's letting me go, but..." Gohan said.

"Tell that girl to keep her filthy hands off you!" Chi Chi yelled.

"...she wasn't exactly happy." He said.

"Oh..." Fluttershy said, trying on a purple boot.

She wasn't happy that Gohan's mother didn't like her already.

Rarity was looking at cubbies of shoes...

Everyone else was just hanging around.

"So, Fluttershy, you've been hanging around this guy?" Rainbow Dash asked, aiming her thumb at Gohan.

"We're friends, so..." Gohan said.

"How did you two meet?" Rarity asked.

"I'm a transfer student. She was the first person I talked to, then we became friends." Gohan said.

"We have a ton in common, too." Fluttershy said.

"...But he is kind of an oddball..." She said.

"Well, the lunch he eats is massive!" Pinkie said.

"I'm genuinely surprised that you aren't overweight." Rarity said.

"Where do you live?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Section 4, 39 East." Gohan said casually.

Pinkie started taking in a really deep breath.

...Still going.

...

"WHAAAT!?"

Gohan's hair flew back for a moment...

"T-That's quite a yell you have... Close to 130 decibels..." He said.

"Well, it's well deserved for where y'all live!" Applejack said.

"Why? What's 200 miles?" Gohan asked.

Then everyone had to yell at him...

"THAT'S A THREE HOUR CAR RIDE!"

"But I don't even drive a car... I don't have a license." Gohan said.

"Then how do you get here!? East Mount Paozu is on another body of land! The ferries are expensive! You said half an hour, but how did you get from here to there and back to quickly!?" Rarity asked.

"It's easy, I can run." Gohan said, hiding the idea of the Flying Nimbus.

"You can't run across water!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Y'all ain't Jesus!"

"Actually, with enough force, speed and precision, you can." Gohan said.

"That's just strange..." Fluttershy said.

'He can't take transit... He... Who is he!? Does he fly!?' She thought.

"I have other means of getting to school, but I'll indulge another time." Gohan said.

"Okay, who's your date?" Rainbow Dash asked Gohan.

...

"H-Her..."

He pointed at Fluttershy while looking away...

He had a very tiny blush...

Fluttershy also kinda blushed and also looked in the opposite direction.

"Ooh! Fluttershy's got a date~!" Pinkie sang.

"S-Stop it...!" Fluttershy said.

Then the curtain booth swung open.

'Oh thank goodness.' Gohan and Fluttershy thought.

There was Twilight.

"...You okay?" Applejack asked Twilight.

"The Fall Formal isn't happening tonight." Twilight said.

"WHAT!?" Pinkie screamed.

"It had to be postponed because Sunset Shimmer had Snips and Snails ruin all of Pinkie Pie's decorations." Twilight said.

"WHAT!?!" Pinkie screamed.

"But the Fall Formal has to happen tonight!" Twilight said.

"WHA-"

Applejack just shut Pinkie's mouth with her hand.

Twilight took a deep breath.

"You see..." She said.

Then Pinkie moved Applejack's hand, and spoke the word of the Lord!

"You're from an alternate world and you're a pony princess there and the crown actually has a magical element embedded in it that helps power up other magical elements, and without it, they don't work anymore, and you need them to help protect your magical world, and if you don't get the crown tonight, you'll be stuck in this world and you won't be able to get back for, like, a really, really long time!"

She squeed and had a big smile.

Twilight was extremely shocked.

Her jaw was wide open.

Even Spike was shocked.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that isn't the reason." Rainbow Dash said.

"Nope. She's pretty much spot on." Spike said.

"He can TALK!?" Rarity asked.

"Oh, yeah! And back where I come from, I'm not even a dog! I'm a ferocious, fire-breathing dragon!" Spike boasted.

He had a smirk.

Fluttershy just had to shove Pinkie and Rarity away to see this.

"This is so amazing! Tell me, what are you thinking right now?" She asked, getting down on all fours and being right in Spike's face.

She had this weird creepy smile...

Then Spike looked over to Rarity and walked towards her.

"Sure would love a scratch behind the old ears!" He said.

Rarity was just taking a really hard time taking it in, so she wasn't really for that...

"Uh, maybe later." Spike said, a little embarrassed.

"How did you know all that!?" Twilight asked.

"Just a hunch!" Pinkie said.

"That's completely illogical. The odds of you guessing all of that are comparable to lottery odds. In fact, it should be near impossible since she's never disclosed anything about it to anyone." Gohan said.

"Don't question it." Pinkie said.

"What about you and being able to run 200 miles and back?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"What? It's not humanly possible?" Gohan asked.

'I'm pretty sure Tien or Krillin could've done it.' He thought.

"Wait a minute! Lemme get this straight. You're a pony?" Applejack asked Twilight.

"You're a princess?" Rarity asked.

"You're from another world?" Fluttershy asked.

Twilight blushed and nodded.

"That. Is. Awesome!" Rainbow Dash said excitedly.

Now all the girls surrounded her with cheers and squeals.

"Told ya." Spike had to say.

Then he caught Gohan looking indifferent and away from the crowd.

"Wait... Why do you look so careless?" He asked.

Now all the cheering stopped and all eyes were on him.

"Huh? Me? Oh. I just don't find it to be a big surprise." Gohan said.

"What!?" Twilight asked.

"That's crazy! Where else can you see a talking dog?" Spike asked.

"Just outside. I'm pretty sure you were there when I explained the anthropomorphic dogs who could talk." Gohan said.

"Then what about me being a dragon?" Spike asked.

"I've had a pet dragon named Icarus. My other dragon friend is Todo, but he was too big and lives in the mountains. I think he has a baby dragon now..." Gohan said.

"Then what about someone from another world?" Rarity asked.

"I've already met other-worldly beings." Gohan said.

"Okay, you need to explain!" Pinkie said.

"Are you also a pony prince or something?" Applejack asked.

"What!? No! That's completely absurd!" Gohan said.

"Then why isn't she absurd?" Spike asked, aiming a paw at Twilight.

"Spike, the king of the world was a dog at one point. If she's from another world, which I've already seen, it isn't much to me. It's interesting that her world has magic, but it's nothing new." Gohan said.

"What have you been through...?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well..." Gohan said.

Let's recap all the weird things!

Fighting dinosaurs at age 4.

Being abused by Piccolo at age 4.

Saiyans show up.

Watching someone blow up.

Watching someone lose their arm.

Watching someone sacrifice himself for him.

Watching his dad get every bone in his body broken.

Then there's Namek. No more words needed.

Then the Androids.

"...The list is too long to explain at the moment." He said.

"...The more you talk, the more you raise questions, you know?" Applejack asked.

The gym.

It's completely ruined.

"I simply cannot believe they did all this!" Rarity said.

"I'm pretty sure we've all seen worse." Gohan said.

"If I only had some kind of... party cannon that could decorate everything super fast!" Pinkie said.

"I know it seems impossible, but, maybe if we all work together?" Twilight asked.

"Now that's the kinda can-do spirit I'm lookin' for in a Fall Formal Princess! Let's do it, y'all!" Applejack said, putting a hand out.

Everyone else but Gohan and Twilight put their hands on top.

"Absolutely!" Rarity said.

"Rock on!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Yes indeedily!" Pinkie said.

"Yay!" Fluttershy said.

Now they're waiting on Gohan and Twilight.

Twilight put her hand in...

"Alright, then. Let's work!" Gohan said.

"Put your hand in!" Pinkie said.

Gohan did as instructed...

Then everyone else was going to raise their hands up to the sky!

...But they tried that against Gohan's hand, so...

"Ow!"

"Ack!"

"Augh!"

"My arm!"

"Ouchie!"

"Ah!"

Everyone else was rubbing their arms because of Gohan's iron wrist.

"Huh? Oh. Sorry...!" Gohan said, taking his arm back.

"What is your freaking arm made of!? Jeez!" Rainbow Dash asked.

"No wonder you destroyed everyone at dodgeball!" Pinkie said.

Gohan just shrugged with a nervous smile.

'I'm screwing up here...!' He thought.

Now a montage of cleaning!

Twilight and Spike went into the closet.

She got brooms while Spike carried a bucket of water with his paws...

She threw them at her friends.

Rainbow Dash caught hers with one hand, spinning it around like a staff and instantly stopping.

Applejack just casually caught it.

Rarity dramatically pushed herself back for a moment, but was okay.

Pinkie jumped up to grab hers with both hands...

Fluttershy was about to let the broom smash into the back of her head by turning around, but Gohan caught that for her.

With one arm, too.

Fluttershy blushed and rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment.

Gohan held the broom out to her...

...Then he caught the next broom with the other arm. Also, without looking.

Which confused Fluttershy, but what do you expect?

She finally took the broom.

Alright, now the floors are being sweeped.

Pinkie did it energetically while Rarity desperately tried to stay as far away from the garbage as possible...

Also, Spike was chasing her.

Ugh.

The garbage on the floor was now in bags.

Everyone stood behind Gohan as he said:

"Check it out."

He grabbed two garbage bags from across the gym, and hurled them both!

They flew in an arc before they landed right into individual trash cans!

Everyone behind him clapped.

Twilight was struggling to lift a broken table, and two students happened to walk by.

A brown haired boy with a football uniform, then an orange Vegeta haired boy with a red jacket and brown pants.

They noticed Twilight, and decided that they should help.

They walked up to her and took the table with each other.

They slowly walked with it...

...Then Applejack came by casually, walking faster and carrying one table all by herself.

They were shocked, and Twilight giggled at the comparison.

...Then Gohan came by holding five of them tables over his damn head with both hands.

Breaking no sweats!

How did he keep the balance?

Now Twilight was just flabbergasted, alongside the two boys.

Now Fluttershy and Rarity are throwing streamers around the gym again.

For a little pizzazz.

Then two girls happened to walk by, and they came in.

Over time, more and more students came by to help out.

In fact, every one did!

Almost...

Excluding Sunset Shimmer, Snips and Snails.

Streamers, setting snack tables, photo booth, the stage for the band, speakers, lights, chairs, tables, and more.

Now that they're done, our main cast of seven stood up on the stage, where the band set up microphones and instruments.

All but Gohan just linked arms over each other's shoulders.

"This... looks... sooooo... GOOD!" Pinkie yelled, breaking the arm linking.

She jumped up in excitement.

"I'm very impressed. You're a leader, just as a princess should be." Gohan said.

Then everyone stopped talking because Celestia was clapping.

Luna was alongside her carrying a chest.

"All right, everyone! Fall Formal is back on for this evening." Celestia said.

"YAAAAAAAAAAY!"

Everyone cheered happily...!

Was everyone that impatient?

"So you better get out of my sight and start getting ready." Celestia said.

"Oh, and don't forget to cast your ballots for Fall Formal Princess!" She added.

Now there was a line by the exit.

Luna had that chest with a small opening for ballot papers.

Everyone put their ballots in.

"You got my vote, Twilight!" Some guy said.

"Mine too!" A girl said.

"Mine too!" Another one said.

"Mine too!" Another one said.

"And me makes ten! I think." Pinkie said.

"N-No, Pinkie..." Gohan said.

Sunset Shimmer and her goons just so happened to be watching all of this inside the sports closet.

It had soccer balls, baseballs, footballs- Everything.

"You're lucky she was able to pull this off. Next time I ask you to make a mess of things, try to show a little restraint! I need this Formal to go on tonight just as much as she does." Sunset said, smirking.

Back at Rarity's...

"I still can't believe we pulled that off!" Fluttershy said.

"The chances of nearly the entire school staying an hour after classes ended are pretty low. But we could've done the cleaning ourselves." Gohan said.

"Enough chatter." Rarity said.

"We need to get ready, and we need to look fabulous!" She said, pulling a whole line of dresses out of nowhere.

She hurled dresses at the group...

...Then Gohan instantly vanished.

Pinkie ended up catching a bunch of dresses.

"Wait, where'd he go?" Applejack asked.

Then a door to another room closed...

"...There's our answer." Pinkie said.

"I came prepared for that, at least..." Rarity asked.

Apparently that's the room Gohan would've stayed in anyway, so...

Insert montage of the girls trying out dresses and other additional stuff while Gohan changes and waits patiently in the other room.

This is their big night!

But damn, they're trying on a million damn dresses.

Twilight wasn't even bothering yet, everyone else was doing all sorts of crap.

In the end, it took them a few hours.

Fluttershy wore a light blue butterfly hairpin as opposed to her usual white, but she wore a blue dress with half of the skirt being yellow and going all the way down to her legs. It had butterflies in the top of the skirt, too.

Then she had blue and pink boots with butterflies on the shoe strings.

Rarity had a blue dress with one shoulder exposed. It was sparkly, and she wore white boots with diamonds on top...

Rainbow Dash had red boots, a rainbow outfit with a blue skirt and purple arm covers. For sports, I'd guess.

Then Applejack had a rose on her usual cowboy hat, along with a scarf around her neck, yellow wristbands, and a blue dress with apples on the bottom of the skirt.

She had cowboy boots with apples on the tops.

Finally, Pinkie wore a tiny party hat, blue wristbands, blue blouse, purple and pink skirt overlapping each other, balloons on the purple flap, a yellow bow on the skirt, and purple boots with bows on top.

Then it's Twilight's turn...

Rarity pushed her into a changing booth with a sparkly purple dress...

Then literally, five damn seconds later, she inexplicably came out with new purple boots, but she had the dress on.

Had no shoulders to cover, so...

Apparently it looks the best to everyone else, do they just had creepy amazed smiles and adored it.

Well, that took a while.

Yeah, see, the girls were worried about their hair, earrings, necklaces, different dresses, shoes, lipstick, and more.

What did Gohan have to do?

Pick out the black blazer, pants, belt, tie and a white shirt.

That's it, quick five minutes to get it on.

Those girls and their two hours bullshit...

Little did anyone else know, he wore his gi underneath!

You know, since he had weights and he refuses to part with the gi.

Well, not entirely that...

He had the boots too.

He just waited patiently, alone in that room of one bench and empty cubbies.

He didn't want to accidentally see something he didn't wanna see.

'I wish I had a book or something. Oh well. I really need to keep secrets better... Ugh.' He thought.

Time for the dance!

What will happen?

Will Sunset manage to get the crown in her hands?
