If anyone was stressed about medical appointments, it was Trixie. The thought of having to go to them always terrified her, even if they weren't something to be scared about. But today? Oh today, she was scared out of her mind. An appointment had been scheduled in a few days, for her to go see the dentist. She lost a tooth in the midst of a run, in which she smacked her forehead and fell down from a large height, which involuntarily hit her jaw.

The appointment had been made by her parents for her to go see the dentist to try replace the tooth that had been lost. Now, she was more than capable of driving herself down to her appointment, as she had a driver's license. But the stress of just going to the appointment was enough to scare her out of her skin. The sounds of the other doctors working in other rooms, usually followed by some sounds of screams of pain. They were a constant thing with her when she heard them working, and she always imagined that she would be next. It was like entering a scene in a horror film, and she would be the next character planned to die.

"Trixie?"

Trixie nearly jumped, making Adagio jump.

"You have been shaking like a leaf for the past few hours since the day started, are you okay?" Adagio asked.

Trixie pouted. "No..."

"Well, what's wrong?"

The geek sighed. "I... I have... an appointment on Saturday. I have to go see... the dentist."

Adagio blinked.

"And the problem is...?"

Trixie moaned. "I'm horrified of the dentist, that's the problem! The last few years were scary for me ever since I've been getting braces on and off!"

"Um... okay."

Trixie shook her head. "You don't know what it was like Adagio. Every two months, I had to get constant checkups on the braces. EVERY. TWO. MONTHS. It was torture for me!"

Adagio wasn't sure how to reply. All she could do was just slowly nod her head in response.

"But you've survived, haven't you?" Adagio said.

"Well, yes, but--"

"--Then I'm positive you won't have anything to worried about. You do brush your teeth constantly, right?"

"Always! Every day, after every meal, every chance I get. Sometimes a little more excessively than I should," Trixie chuckled.

"Then you shouldn't worry. If you always brush your teeth when you can, then I'm sure you should have no problem."

"But that's the thing!" Trixie shouted. "That's not the problem! The problem is I have to get a new tooth filled in, I've never had to experience that before! I don't know what they'll do, and I... I'm scared."

Adagio frowned, hearing her whimper and pout. Admittedly, she thought it was a bit much for a teenage girl to be this stressed out over something like this. But she understood where Trixie was coming from, and could tell she very anxious. But she knew just the thing.

"Hey, how about this. Why don't I accompany you to the dentist, I can keep you calm. Besides, you're usually calm when you're around me," Adagio smirked.

A moment of relief hit Trixie's heart. And with it, her smile.

"I-I'd like that."

Adagio smiled back.

"It'll be alright, Trixie, I promise. Plus, I'd like to point out the little gift from a certain sister of Pinkie Pie?"

Trixie blinked, until she realized what she meant.

"Oh..."

"Maybe a gold tooth to fill that place could be just the thing. Who knows... maybe you could look sexy with a gold one," Adagio said with a racy grin, winking at her.

Saturday came faster than a car down in a racetrack. Adagio and Trixie were now at the front door at the dentist office. And Trixie was still shaking like a leaf.

"Oh, I wished I never came back to this place..." Trixie moaned, her legs wobbling like they were about to snap.

"Trixie. Its okay. Just breathe in, breathe out... its okay."

Trixie's fingerless gloved hand pushed through the set of doors, and the lovers walked on through. The waiting room looked like your usual dentist waiting room. Plenty of chairs to sit and wait in, some toy baskets in a corner for little ones to skim through and play with, and a TV playing some local news.

Walking with her to the front desk, she approached the woman who sat at the counter.

"Hello. How may I help you?"

"We're here for an appointment, scheduled at 10:00?" Adagio asked.

"Oh right, the appointment for Miss Lulamoon. Just have a seat, she should be up in a few."

"Okay."

Adagio and Trixie sat in the waiting room chairs, side by side. But Trixie was still a bit shaken up. Trying to calm her down, Adagio intertwined her fingers with Trixie's, holding her hand.

"Its okay. I'm here for you."

Trixie took a deep breathe to try and to calm down, taking a few solid breaths.

"Alright. I just need to stay calm, that's it. Just... need to stay calm."

Just then, one of the staff came out of a hallway.

"Miss Lulamoon?"

Trixie gulped and felt her heart racing. Now it was time. She wasn't ready for this! Not this fast! But she had to stay calm, she just had to. So with her body shaking, she slowly walked forward with Adagio holding her hand and taking her down, following the staff.

Once inside the room, Trixie sat in the dentist chair, while Adagio sat on another chair, right by her side.

"Oh I'm so nervous..."

"Just relax, it'll be okay."

Just then, the doctor walked inside.

"Ah, hello Miss Lulamoon."

Trixie shuddered. "U-Uh, H-Hi... D-Doc."

"Nervous?"

Adagio nodded. "She's a bit stressed at the moment. If you don't mind, I said I'd stay here to accompany her."

"Oh its no problem, Miss?"

"Adagio. I'm her girlfriend."

"Oh, that's rather nice," The doctor replied, smiling.

Adagio smiled back. What a friendly man.

"So, what is the patient here for today?" The doctor said, adjusting Trixie's chair to lean back so he could take a look at her teeth. As she was leaned back, her eyes winced at the light that was brought to her face.

"I'm afraid she hit her jaw really hard on something that caused her to lose a tooth," Adagio replied, cringing a bit to see the spot where she had lost it.

"Ah, I see. Well that should be no problem whatsoever. I can get that tooth replaced, as well as a quick clean."

"Perfect. So, are you going to be putting any gold in her mouth? Because a friend of ours donated some solid pure gold and--"

"That won't be necessary. What some of our patients fail to realize is that applying gold, or what I keep hearing from the teens, the 'grillz' teeth unfortunately aren't entirely safe for the mouth. But we can give her a silver filling."

Adagio looked down. "What do you think Trixie?"

Trixie whimpered. "W-Whatever's safer..."

"Silver filling it is then."

The doctor pulled a tray over, which held a few dental tools.

"T-This isn't going to hurt, is it?"

"No, it's not going to hurt. Its just a simple clean and fill. Though I must warn you, there will be some mild sensitivity to it."

Trixie felt sweat run down her head. As soon as the dentist put his mask down, he pulled the first tool out.

"Actually, sir. Before you continue, may I say something?"

"Of course."

Adagio leaned over some more, stroking Trixie's cheek.

"Now, sweetie, I want you to listen to me. You know what helps me when I'm really stressed?"

"W-What?"

Adagio smiled. "Thinking about something else. So while that man is cleaning your teeth, I want you to think about something that relaxes you, makes you happy."

Trixie sighed and nodded. "Okay, I'll... I'll try."

Adagio just smiled at her some more. "And don't worry, I'm right here."

She cupped Trixie's hand, holding her.

"Alright, well, now that we're settled down now. Just open your mouth and say, 'Aaah...'"

The next hour moved by really fast. Trixie wasn't even focused on the whole operation. Her entire mind was just deep away in thought...

Before her eyes, she found herself in a much more sunny and warm atmosphere. Looking down, she found herself on a plaid blanket. Her entire body rested on the warm cotton, underneath the shade of a peach tree. She wore a summer dress which fit perfectly with the warm weather. And right by her side was none other than Adagio. She looked so adorable in that purple siren's outfit which hugged her skin.

"Oh Trixie, this is just wonderful..." Adagio smiled.

"I'm glad you love it. I wanted to make everything perfect for us."

A racy grin was on Adagio's face. "You know what would make it even more perfect?"

"W-What?"

Adagio rolled over and pounced on Trixie's body, making her grunt. The siren grinned as she looked down, and Trixie smiled as well. That cute face, and that long hair that reached over her bare shoulders and down her back. Her hand reached up and stroked Adagio's cheek, making her purr like a kitten. The siren leaned down closer, lips only centimeters from reaching each other.

"Never forget Trixie... I'm always here for you." Adagio smiled, her hand brushing some of the hair out of Trixie's eyes. The geek's eyes watered under her glasses and a smile of pure joy followed.

"Oh, Dagi..."

Adagio smiled and gave her a peck.

"Never forget, okay Trixie? Trixie? Trixie..."

"Ahem!"

Trixie snapped and pouted. "What, what?"

The dentist smiled, pulling down his mask.

"We're done."

Trixie couldn't believe it. "W-What?"

"The cleaning's done, and I got that tooth filled."

She blinked and raised a finger up. "How long was that?"

"I'm not sure. But I can say it was long enough for me to get that done, and with no trouble I might add."

Adagio leaned over, taking a look. She grinned at her, seeing the final result.

"I gotta say, Trixie, I think I was wrong. I think silver works better with you. It certainly fits that beautiful hair of yours," Adagio cooed.

A mirror was raised down, allowing Trixie to see. Once she opened her jaw, she could see the new tooth in place. It sparkled and gleamed against the mirror, a small flash of light.

"Oh..." Trixie said, moving her head, looking at the tooth at all directions. "I... I like it."

Adagio gave her a side hug, nuzzling her. "That wasn't so bad, now was it?"

Trixie shook her head. "No, I... I guess not."

"I'll let you two have a moment while I get the papers for your next appointment," the doctor replied, stepping out of the room.

Trixie looked into Adagio's eyes, along with that smile. Such a smile that always made her happy.

"So? What did I tell you?"

Trixie rolled her eyes, chuckling. "I know, I know, stay calm..."

Adagio nodded, booping her nose. "Out of curiosity... what did you think about that made you stay calm?"

"Well... you."

"Me?"

"Yes, you."

Adagio smiled. "Oh, Trixie..."

Trixie leaned over and pecked her cheek, holding her close. Adagio giggled and she moved closer, giving her a hug. She relaxed in her arms, enjoying the warm embrace. she never wanted the moment to end.

And there was no doubt about it. Trixie felt a bit proud inside. Not so bad as she thought after all. And she would definitely need to have that confidence some more.
