Mason was sitting on top of the train car that the Main six were in thinking about his life. He was questioning why he wasn't freaking out as well. He felt as if he should be terrified of the whole 'outside of the known universe' thing. But something was making it so he wouldn't. It didn't feel like he was unable to feel it just numbed. He mentally filed this away to think about later.

He then turned his attention to KD who was running beside the train. It amazed him how much slower this rain was compared to the ones he rode. Granted there was a couple hundred if not thousand years of difference in technology. Although he did find it strange they used solid gold armor. Gold is heavy and soft, it may very well be the worst metal you could choose for armor.

Stupid armor choices aside Mason decided to jump over to KD. But to be nice he figured he would tell the six mares in the car below. Walking over to the door Mason leaned down and knocked on the top of the door. Pulling his head up so he wouldn't hit it on anything. He waited for a moment for the door to open and when it did the pink earth pony walked out and looked around.

Clearing his throat Mason said, "Hey pinks I'm gonna jump over to KD could you tell the others so they don't think I killed myself."

Pinkie jumped a little from his voice being above her but nodded and walked back indoors. Walking to the opposite side of the train from KD to get a head start. He then sprinted as fast as he could and jumped off of the train. He saw he wasn't going to make it and double jumped then grappled to KD. Landing on his Titan with a loud thud he then opened the hatch on top of KD and jumped in.

"KD how long do you think it will take for something to go horribly wrong?" Mason asked with a loud sigh.

"I give it five minutes."

"That sounds about right." Mason nodded and started to reload his weapons and restock his explosives.

Just before he was done something went horribly wrong in the form of a giant bird. Mason sighed and took control of KD's weapons systems.

"Yeah, that seems about right. Damn lazy author." Mason said shaking his head.

"Pilot that's not a bird. That is a dropship with very broken wings." KD said as if this fourth wall breaking was completely normal.

"Ah well, that makes my life easier. It's gonna hit the train isn't it."

"Yes it is. It would seem Murphy's law is actually a thing here."

"Can we grab it with the shield grabby thingy?" Mason asked.

"Did you really just call it a shield grabby thingy?"

"Yes."

"*Robosigh* Yes I can." KD said exasperated.

As the dropship continued to hurtle towards the train Mason opened the hatch and jumped back to the train. Beginning to run across the top of the train witch Mason realized was nowhere as easy as action movies made it look. He punched a hole into the top of the train car that the mane six were in and tore it open as if it were made of tinfoil. Jumpin into the new hole in the roof he landed in the middle of the car full of very surprised mares.

"Oi purple, can you make a shield?" Mason asked Twilight in a rush.

"Yes, why?" Twilight said confused and somewhat scared.

"OK then make your strongest shield as we speak we have a hundred tons of metal flying at us at the speed of sound. Mason said still in a hurry.

Twilight nodded and created a shield around the train car. Mason jumped out of the hole he made and bent it back closed. He then jumped back to KD who caught him and quickly put him in the cockpit. Scanning the area around them KD saw a ledge on the other side of the train. She sprinted faster then began to run to the side at the last second before she hit the train KD activated the trusters propelling herself over the train. Continuing to move to the side KD began to turn further to the ledge. Once the falling dropship was in reach KD planted a foot firmly on the ledge ran up it slightly then jumped off. Quickly activating the thrusters she began to climb towards the dropship. Mason meanwhile was thankful he installed the viper thrusters.

Once the dropship was in reach KD used the as Mason put it 'shield grabby thingy' to grab the dropship. She then reangled the thrusters to slow down. After slowing down she noticed that they weren't going to slow down in time. She made a decision to just friggen throw it. Reangling the thruster to push sideways KD began to move the ship sideways once the ship was far enough away from the train to not seriously damage it she let it go and moved out of the way. KD and Mason watched in silence as the ship rocketed to the ground but not before seeing one thing, the symbol of an IMC scout ship.

"Well shit" Mason summed up the situation it two words.

Flying back down to the ground KD sprinted back up to the train.

As KD ran next to the train as Mason pushed open the hatch on top of her. He climbed out of KD being careful not to slide off. Once he had managed to stand, he mentaly calculated the jump. Mason then took a step back careful not to fall off. Then he sprinted forward leaping off KD right as he started to fall he jumped again midair then grappled to the side of the train. Reeling himself in Mason grabbed the top edge of the train and climbed on top. Once he was on top Mason waked up to the purple shield encasing the train car. He leaned down and knocked shortly after he did so the purple shield dissipated. Mason jumped down between the train cars landing skillfully on the hitch between the cars. Mason slid open the door and walked in closing it behind him.

What he found inside was a sleeping rainbow dash, Fluttershy half sticking out from under one of the benches, Twilight hyperventilating, Applejack sitting there trying to calm down Fluttershy, Rarity worrying about some fabric she had dropped and gotten from nowhere, and pinkie bouncing happily as ever in her seat. Mason simply shook his head not really finding this terribly strange compared to the last few days he then had a thought. 'KD can you mark the place where the ship crashed so we can check it out later?'

'I will do that pilot' KD replied marking the coordinates of the crash.

Mason nodded and sat down next to Twilight. Mason raised a hand and patted Twilight on the back. Not really sure what to do he decided to turn on some music. He looked to the small screen on his arm and started to look through his rather large library of music he decided to turn on 'on top of the world' by an old band called Imagine Dragons. He began to slightly nod his head side to side as he listened to the music. Meanwhile, Twilight began to stop hyperventilating and noticed Mason holding his head.

"What are you doing?" Twilight asked.

Mason turned his head to look down at twilight. "I'm listening to music at the moment."

"How I don't see a gramophone or something like Vinyl's turntable things, or whatever she calls them," Twilight said mumbling the last part.

Mason chuckled a little and took off his helmet placing it beside him. "That's because my helmet has internal speakers, they usually get used for things like when they tell me KD's ready but I hooked up a music player in it. Because I get bored a lot there really isn't much to do in spaceships."

Twilight nodded a glint in her eye that Mason felt he should be wary of. "That's really interesting think of the things Equestria could do with technology like that! What are the spaceships like?

Mason scratched his chin for a moment before replying. "Well in science fiction you think of spaceships as enormous ships that are miles long. But in reality, the biggest ship Mankind has ever built was a mile and a half long and it's a cargo freighter, not a military one."

Twilight nodded "So how did your species first start to go to space?"

"That Twilight is a very long story that I will tell you later but it appears that we are here," Mason said smiling and standing up.

Stretching a bit Mason grabbed hold of the rails on the ceiling so he doesn't fall. As the train came to a stop the main six all got up to stand in front of the door. Mason reached down to the seat and grabbed his helmet carrying it underarm. The doors slid open and the group all stepped out with Mason in tow. A lot of ponies froze in fear staring at Mason before realizing that he was with the main six and cautiously continuing with their days.

Some ponies screamed as KD walked up to the station with heavy booming steps that shook the ground a bit. She kneeled right next to the station platform as Mason began to walk over to her. Luckily Mason didn't need to dodge any ponies as they all got out of the way of him as he moved. He stepped up to KD who reached out and grabbed him she stood up and placed Mason on her head.

Mason looked back to the six mares who were motioning for him and KD to follow. As KD started to follow them Mason took the time to look at his surroundings. Ponyville was a small town with small houses and shops lining the streets. Ponies walked around minding their own business for the most part but casting curious glances towards them. Mason, all in all, liked the way that the town looked. They did have a few building that looked a bit out of place such as a building that looked like a gingerbread house. Sighing to himself Mason realized just how weird his life was about to get.

Wow, it took me a long fukin time to write this sorry about that.

So a filler chapter that is sorta boring why? Because I completely forgot about this story up until now so I'll try not to do that again on the upside I'm no longer failing my math class! So small victories eh?
