The ponies were all confused.

"Wh...What happened to Goten?" Twilight asked.

"I don't know..." Shining Armor said.

Well, our two princesses knew.

Goten was erased from existence.

Not dead, just nonexistent.

Celestia and Luna held their heads down.

"He's... Gone." Luna said.

"Gone...?" Scootaloo asked.

"Destroyed." Celestia said, looking saddened.

Everyone gasped.

"D-Destroyed...!?" Fluttershy asked.

Everyone was saddened.

Pinkie... Her mane flattened while she had a shocked face.

"I was going to take out the whole planet, but he just happened to be in the air. Let's try for a second time." Beerus said, walking in front of Gohan.

That voice only made Gohan even angrier.

He started grunting loudly...

"You killed him." He said grimly.

"Yeah, yeah, I don't care." Beerus said.

With that, Gohan snapped.

"You don't care...!?" He asked, looking up at Beerus.

Uh...

Steam just randomly came out from some parts of Gohan's body.

Like the arms and such...

Gohan stood up, surprising everyone.

He was grunting angrily with each breath.

This very moment was just reminding him of the Cell Games yet again...

16's soothing robot voice telling him to let go...

"I have waited oh so looong... Please don't tell me-" I'm done.

Actually...

"HELLOMYNAMEISSIXTEENMAYIPLEASEKILLYOU?"

Okay, but REALLY...

"Let it go. Please... Drop your restraints."

Just imagine if Gohan was actually named Ox In The Box.

Ox In The Box goes Super Saiyan 2 for the first time.

Mystic Ox In The Box.

I'm done.

But at the very same time, for some reason, Krillin happened to pop up with these words.

You know, to try and calm him down...

"Happy thoughts, Gohan, happy thoughts! Breathe, Gohan, you're a leaf! A leaf in a calm stream-"

"F**K THE STREAM!" Gohan screamed.

"Pardon?" Beerus asked.

Everyone gasped at that language!

Shortly after, Gohan appeared in front of Beerus as if he jumped.

Beerus was caught off guard by this, and was instantly met with a kick to the face!

He actually grunted while being pushed back a few feet!

His feet dragged across the ground because of this.

"Nngh..." Beerus responded, touching his cheek.

"I actually kind of felt that one." He said.

Gohan screamed to the skies.

Gohan's aura flared intensely while he screamed.

Rage was evident.

He put a huge crater into the ground that came really close to affecting the castle.

The louder he screamed, the bigger his aura was.

Beerus was intrigued by Gohan's sudden awakening...

So was Whis.

Goku's limp body just remained motionless.

"What is happening!?" Rainbow Dash asked, covering her eyes.

"He's screaming!" Twilight yelled.

"No fucking shit, Sherlock!"

Gohan's aura was also very bright.

So bright that most of the ponies couldn't see.

Gohan finally stopped screaming, but he tried containing it while letting out grunts.

His aura remained strong.

Beerus looked... Actually a little pleased.

"Your power is continually rising... It's actually very impressive." He said.

"Your compliments mean nothing to me!" Gohan yelled.

"Fine. I'll make you a deal. If you manage to beat me in a fight with your newfound power, then I won't destroy the planet." Beerus said.

"You won't destroy the planet because I'll KILL you before you can do it." Gohan said.

"Hmph. I'll give you an extra chance. I'll be using my full power this time." Beerus bluffed.

"I don't care, I'll finish you!" Gohan screamed.

Right after that, his aura died down to a small trickle.

But his rage was still real.

He dashed off the ground, shaking the earth around him!

He threw a punch while screaming!

Beerus blocked with his hand, putting yet ANOTHER crater into the ground.

It's like the moon at this rate.

Gohan threw a roundhouse, only for Beerus to jump back.

"HRAAGH!" Beerus yelled, lunged forward at speeds unimaginable.

Not even Gohan could react.

He punched Gohan right in the gut, making him cough!

Beerus just stopped there.

He thought the fight was over, so he just stood there.

But he was dead wrong.

Gohan made his aura flare before punching him in the cheek!

Beerus moved back a few feet for recovery.

He was obviously angered by that, so he grunted before he punched Gohan downward!

But it didn't send him into the ground.

Beerus kicked Gohan in the side and punched him!

And that punch sent him flying!

Way beyond the horizon.

Beerus quickly flew after him.

The main cast ponies all rushed outside.

The two were just gone.

"Should we follow them?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"We need to tend to Goku right now." Cadence said.

"Okay, who actually wants to see it go down?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Only she raised her hand.

"Oh, come on!" She complained.

Gohan was still flying...

He was right above the forest beside Foal Mountain.

Beerus appeared behind him, and caught him in a chokehold!

"So what are you going to do now?" He asked.

"Kidney shot!"

Gohan quickly elbowed Beerus, getting a kidney shot in.

That caught him off guard.

"Kidney shot!" He yelled numerous times as he elbowed Beerus repeatedly.

"Kidney shot, kidney shot, kidney shot, and pause..." Gohan said.

Beerus was somewhat dazed by the attack.

"Stomach punch!" Gohan yelled, punching Beerus right in the gut.

Beerus coughed, but quickly recovered.

He grunted angrily before kicking Gohan in the stomach and kicking him again, but down to the forest.

Gohan managed to stop himself from crashing into the ground, but Beerus was flying right at him from the side.

Gohan received a body blow, being sent farther away.

He crashed into a few trees, but he recovered while flying backwards.

He and Beerus landed on separate tree branches.

They quickly charged, parrying with a punch, a knee, and another punch, causing debris to fly everywhere!

The trees around them started to deteriorate with each blow.

Finally, Gohan got a hit in with a screaming rising uppercut.

Beerus didn't fly upwards very much, but he was visibly annoyed.

Gohan tried getting another punch in, but only ended up getting kicked really hard by Beerus.

I mean, wow.

As soon as Gohan finally reached the ground, he was dragged across the entire forest.

In fact, he even blew through a part of Foal Mountain.

He was headed for... Neighagra Falls!

Well, he was just above it now.

Beerus appeared above Gohan to perform a double axe handle on him!

Right into the lake!

Gohan managed to stop himself from landing in the river.

There there were a bunch of ponies looking confused as to what was happening.

Beerus dove down at Gohan.

"Tell me, mortal." He said as he threw a punch.

Gohan barely dodged.

"Why do you persist?" He asked, kicking Gohan into the lake.

Gohan made his aura flare and put a huge hole in the water.

"Because you killed my brother! I'm avenging him...!" He yelled, charging at Beerus.

He threw numerous punches at him.

"It's rare to see a Saiyan consumed by a flaw such as pride!" Beerus said, dodging every one.

He kneed Gohan in the stomach, but Gohan punched him away.

The two ended up falling down to the bottom of the lake, but the water parted as if they were Moses.

They kept clashing and breaking the ground beneath them.

Gohan kept letting out a war cry with each attack.

He was hell bent on getting his revenge.

The ground beneath them crumbled, and our fighters fell in.

The hole was quickly clogged up with rocks.

Eventually, the two reached a cave with water beneath them.

The two separated from their clash and jumped away to gain some distance.

They stood on water that was originally there.

Gohan was panting. Exhausted.

His aura kinda shortened.

It was evident that he was burning out.

"Tired out, are we?" Beerus asked, not having even a scratch on him.

"Be quiet...!" Gohan yelled.

"You should know that I'm not happy either." Beerus said.

"What...?" Gohan asked.

"I still haven't even come close to using my full power in this fight." Beerus said.

"What!?" Gohan asked.

"Yes." Beerus said with a smile.

Gohan grunted.

"Then I'll just have to get stronger..." He muttered.

"Mortals without divine power can never defeat a god. Accept your fate." Beerus said.

"I... I challenge my fate." Gohan said.

With that, his aura flared brighter.

"What...? You STILL persist?" Beerus asked.

He looked a bit irritated.

Gohan looked ready to fight yet again.

"I'm gonna give it all I got!" He yelled.

"You'll die trying." Beerus said.

Gohan darted right at Beerus.

Beerus darted right at him, too, screaming.

He elbowed him in the chest, knocking Gohan over.

His aura died out.

Gohan managed to jump and stand again, but Beerus was already in front of him, kicking him in the shoulder and the side of the knee.

Gohan managed to actually blast Beerus away a little.

He chased him, throwing a heavy punch.

Beerus bent over backwards and kicked Gohan upwards.

He back flip kicked, to say.

Gohan put two fingers to his head and teleported before hitting the ceiling.

Beerus didn't realize that he was behind him before he punched him in the back of the head.

Beerus turned around, only for Gohan to repeat the teleportation, trying to get a chop in.

But Beerus jumped up preemptively to dodge.

He started throwing numerous ki blasts.

Gohan did the same right back at him.

Now ki blasts were clashing and flying right off course, making for a neat light show if you were able to see it.

While the other ponies treated Goku, Rainbow Dash, Cadence and Twilight were tasked with tracking the fight.

These three were just flying through the skies.

They scanned the ground beneath them.

A few pegasi could be seen around them.

"From what I can tell, they went east before eventually going north..." Twilight said.

"I feel horrible for Goten..." Cadence said.

"We know..." Rainbow Dash said.

Our three eventually reached Neighagra Falls, where the water was still parted like the Red Sea.

A bunch of ponies were confused as to what was happening, because for a split second they saw a monkey with red fur with flames and a purple cat fighting and enter the ground.

"I'm willing to bet they're down there..." Twilight said.

"I can hear the blasts." Rainbow Dash said.

These blasts were still going.

But Gohan was about to change it up.

He stopped his blasts.

"You fool!" Beerus yelled, adding more blasts.

Gohan stood still for a moment, and closed his eyes.

Every blast in front of him seemingly stopped.

"It's over now." He muttered.

He instantly did an... Instant Kamehameha upwards.

He destroyed all of Beerus' blasts, and his beam was headed for Beerus!

Direct hit!

"Is Gohan winning?" Cadence asked.

"I dunno." Rainbow Dash said.

Then...

BOOM!

A giant blue beam just shot out from the parted ground!

It was truly random.

"YEP!" Twilight yelled.

***

The blast died down.

The smoke hadn't parted yet...

Gohan panted, as he put a lot of power into that.

He just got on his knee.

The smoke just parted instantly.

Beerus was still there, but was definitely irritated.

He blocked with his arms.

He looked pissed.

'Oh no... How...!?' Gohan thought.

Beerus remained in the air, and screamed loudly.

His purple aura flared, and a bunch of ki blasts flew everywhere.

Gohan couldn't muster the strength to dodge...

The first blast hit him the head, knocking that backwards.

More pounded his chest and arms, and now he was being burrowed into the ground.

The ki blasts also hit the cavern, so rocks started to bury Gohan.

Beerus ended the all directional blasts and focused them all at Gohan.

So Gohan was being pounded deeper into the ground as rocks fell on him.

"Doh! Ack! Ow!" He yelled.

"DOOOOOOODGE!"

Beerus finally ended his blast and watched as the rocks crumbled upon Gohan.

"Do you see the error of your foolish ways yet!?" He asked.

No response.

Beerus closed his eyes.

"Rest. It'll be the best thing you do right now." He said.

"It's over." Beerus said.

Gohan couldn't rest.

He had to do something.

But...

'I can't...! Damn it!' He thought.

Beerus flew out from the cavern, and the three ponies saw him exit.

"Uh... Is that a good sign?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Doesn't look like it." Twilight said.

...

The rocks kept piling on.

His body began to shut down.

Muscles hurt to much, his breathing slowed.

He closed his eyes.

Gohan was about to just let go again.

You know, finally accept his fate for once?

Until he heard these words...

"Can you still fight?" He heard.

'W-What...?' Gohan thought.

'Goten...?'

"I asked if you can still fight."

"I... I want to fight." Gohan said.

"In that case... I'll lend you my power."

Suddenly, a few imaginary energy drops entered Gohan's forehead.

He felt sudden... Jolt.

As if he had been pumped full of energy.

But that was a fassad.

It was a feeling, but not a fact.

Gohan couldn't help but imagine a spiritual form of Goten in the formal wear, the same as his father was just a little while ago.

And with that...

He opened his eyes.

"No..." He muttered.

"It's not... OVER!" Gohan yelled.

"Hraaaaaaaagh!" He screamed.

Beerus looked intrigued, as were the ponies.

In an instant, a giant yellow aura destroyed some the crumbling rocks around Gohan!

Gohan still screamed, traveling through all the rocks and rubble in an instant.

His aura destroyed anything in front of him.

But something was off...

Why could we see a transparent Goten in front of Gohan?

Gohan was about to reach the surface, and burst through the ground.

The debris remained with him for a while, but once he got close to Beerus' level, it got off.

Gohan stopped there, looking up at Beerus with a death stare.

His aura kept flaring.

The three ponies cheered.

"All right!" Rainbow Dash cheered.

"He's got this!" Cadence said.

Beerus just screamed in annoyance.

"You've ruined my perfect ending, you stubborn freak of nature! Will you just stay down already!?" He yelled, pointing at Gohan.

But then he looked intrigued again.

Something was different this time...

Gohan's aura...

It was much bigger than he was.

But what was inside it was the kicker...

A giant mirage of a base Goten could be seen behind Gohan.

As if that's his regular aura.

He was in the same pose as Gohan, too.

"What am I looking at?" Twilight asked.

"Wasn't he...?" Cadence asked.

Gohan wasn't done yet.

It's time for round...5. Wow.

Okay, so TECHNICALLY this was an incomplete chapter.

But it's taking too long for me to post, so this is what I got.

As you can tell, Gohan's perception of Goten is imaginary, but for some reason, his mirage is there...

Just to clarify, this isn't Goten's return. Not even related.
