Back at the castle...

Most of the guests had left. The party was not only ruined, but it was dangerous to stay there.

Our main cast were still there.

Shining Armor, Celestia and Luna were trying to get Goku back on his feet.

With KiPR magic.

They tried numerous spells to wake him up.

Flurry Heart was on Shining Armor's back, sucking her hoof.

She was sound asleep....

The Crusaders were crying, and everyone else was trying to help them cope.

Except Pinkie.

Pinkie was just sitting in the corner with her Mane flattened, because she genuinely felt bad for all of this.

'It's all my fault...' She thought.

"Come on...!" Shining Armor said, performing another spell.

It was electric.

ZAP!

And...

Goku jolted awake, sitting up in an instant.

"Gohan! Goten? Chi Chi?" He asked, looking around.

"Wait a second... You're not- Oh." He said.

"Oh, thank goodness you're awake." Celestia said.

"It took a lot of spells, because your body is really stubborn..." Shining Armor said.

"Oh... Really? Wait, where are my sons?" Goku asked, looking around.

"Gohan's off fighting Lord Beerus, and... uh..." Celestia said, trying to find the right words.

Goku wasn't listening.

"I can sense Gohan in that direction... I also feel somewhat of Goten... In the exact same place? Huh?" Goku asked.

"What are you talking about?" Luna asked.

"Sorry, but I've never felt Gohan like this before. I need to see what's happening." Goku said, standing up.

"Wait, you just got up! Aren't you exhausted?" Shining Armor asked.

"Uh... Not really." Goku said.

...

"...Bye!" He said, flying off.

"...Did we use a regeneration spell?" Shining Armor asked.

"Possibly." Luna said.

"What the heck... The other pudding spoiled brat?" Beerus asked.

Gohan's aura was huge, but that mirage of Goten was just a little smaller.

That mirage soon disappeared, and Gohan's aura turned back to normal.

"What happened to Gohan now?" Twilight asked.

"It looks awesome!" Rainbow Dash said.

Beerus retaliated with his own aura.

You could just hear the Hero - FLOW song.

時に- I'm not going to write the song for you.

Our two warriors charged at each other, with Beerus screaming his head off.

He had his purple aura while Gohan had his yellow sparkly aura...

They both parried a punch before flying off course.

But they charged back at each other clashing a kick this time.

And they charged back at each other again, only for Beerus to block Gohan's punch.

Beerus retaliated by throwing his own punch, but Gohan actually teleported beneath it.

He punched Beerus in the stomach!

A direct hit!

Beerus was sent flying away.

At an angle of which he left Neighagra Falls but also reached the clouds.

Gohan instantly chased him, leaving nothing but a darting sound and winds behind him.

Our two flew straight into the skies, ignoring the bystanding pegasi.

They kept throwing punches and kicks, and only occasionally they hit the other person.

So much parrying...

Their auras clashed in the air as well.

First Gohan finally managed to hit Beerus in the face, but then Beerus managed to hit Gohan in the face, then Gohan managed to punch Beerus in the stomach, and immediately afterwards Beerus punched Gohan in the stomach.

This is happening in the midst of some barrage of punches.

Gohan threw an extremely heavy punch at Beerus, getting him right in the face!

Beerus was sent flying past the clouds, spinning repeatedly.

He almost hit a pegasus.

Gohan teleported even above that to drop kick him straight down.

Our two flew all over the clouds, punching, kicking, clashing, nearly knocking into the neighboring pegasi...

There are so many holes in the clouds, holy fuck knuckles.

I am high as a kite.

Meanwhile... Our three main ponies...

"They're moving so fast! Can any of you catch any of this?" Twilight asked.

The other two shook their heads.

"Nope, totally lost." Goku said, startling everyone.

You know, with an "AH!"

"When did you get here!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"When they started to fight." Goku said.

Our fight was taken to the upper atmosphere, WAY above the clouds.

You could see space.

Shockwaves from the mere clashing of attacks could be seen from the lit surface.

Our two separated for a quick moment, only for Beerus to smile lightly and lose his aura.

Gohan charged at him again, and they started the clashing all over again.

"If you like dishing out death, then FINE!" He screamed, punching Beerus in the face.

"The human body is comprised of approximately 70% water!" He screamed, kicking Beerus away.

"I am 100% death!" He screamed.

His aura flared at it's brightest.

The mirage of Goten in the exact same pose appeared once again. (bent over with bent knees while looking up.)

Gohan cupped his hands together, a blue light appearing in between them.

Mirage Goten did the same pose.

"HAVE SOME!" He screamed.

Beerus was about 100 feet away from Gohan at an upwards angle of 45 degrees.

"Go on!" Beerus yelled, aiming his hands upwards.

He formed his Sphere of Destruction, a sphere that resembled a yellow star.

But it was much smaller, yet more destructive.

It was a nice big ball.

"Feel free!" He yelled, throwing the ball down at Gohan.

"Kamehame... HRAAAAAAAAAAA!" Gohan screamed at the top of his lungs.

The two attacks clashed, making for a mini sun with some blue lasers.

But those two attacks were making ungodly winds, they could be felt from all over Equestria.

"I think that's his Kamehameha!" Twilight said.

She covered her eyes because it was hard to see.

"No kidding!" Goku said, barely managing to see.

Gohan put nearly everything he had into his blast.

Both his and Beerus' blasts were just clashing there.

"If you're just going to kill my brother, then FINE!" Gohan screamed.

"I'll just do the same, FOR YOU!" He screamed.

At that moment, flew into his own Kamehameha.

"You know it's pointless to- Huh?" Beerus asked.

Gohan was performing the Dragon Hammer!

Well, Kamehameha then a Dragon Fist.

He wound up with left arm.

"SUPER DRAGON FIST! HRAAAAGH!" He screamed.

In that moment, Goten's mirage disappeared.

But in his place, a giant golden dragon emerged!

It instantly destroyed Beerus' blast, exploding it to tiny ki droplets!

It was headed straight for Beerus!

Beerus seemed unprepared for the attack...

He screamed right before the dragon came in contact, and...!

BOOM!

Yellow smoke and explosion!

It was as if a solar flare occurred!

On Equestria, it was just pure confusion.

What the hell is that in the sky?

The clouds are being moved and it sucks!

Now the weather team has to put them back!

Everyone was just confused.

Back to our, well, fight.

The explosion finally started to die down.

We could see Gohan, who was no longer a Super Saiyan 4, but a mere Saiyan.

He was panting, out of energy.

He looked up to the smoke with a grin.

The taste of vengeance...

'I did it for you, Goten...' He thought.

...

"Was that really all?" Beerus asked from inside the smoke.

Gohan looked in shock.

"N-No... Way..." He said.

Beerus just made the smoke clear all at once.

"That was a pretty impressive attack. You had me get serious for a moment there." He said.

"It... It can't..." Gohan said, in major disbelief.

You know, kind of like how a bunch of people were when Trump was elected?

"But that's enough. It's my turn." Beerus said.

He created yet another Sphere of Destruction.

"No...!" Gohan said.

'How...!? The dragon fist couldn't do it...!?' He thought.

"Now, how about you have some death!?" Beerus yelled, throwing the massive, starlike ball at Gohan.

"I... I have to stop that from hitting Equestria...!" Gohan yelled.

He grunted angrily.

"Damn it!" He yelled.

The Sphere of Destruction was very close.

Gohan mustered the little energy he had left to try and push it.

He grunted in extreme pain, trying his hardest.

He ended up going Super Saiyan, and his aura flared everywhere. It had no pattern.

The scorching ball let off some residue, making it even harder.

Alas, the ball pushed him back very slowly.

Beerus aimed his finger at the sphere, and fired two more blasts into it.

Now there was a bigger and stronger sphere.

At this point, the scorching got so intense that Gohan's arms started bleeding.

"I WON'T LET YOU!" He screamed.

"Come, now. Stop fighting and rest in peace!" Beerus said.

"SHUT UP!" Gohan screamed.

The ball was really too much for him, that he gone slightly enveloped by it.

"SHUT UP!" He screamed again, as if he were about to cry.

Goten had to be avenged, and Equestria needed to be saved.

Gohan desperately smashed his fist into the sphere in a fit of rage, actually managing to shake it.

He screamed in utmost pain.

The sphere was just too powerful!

He started to think of a plan...

But there was none.

"What's happening!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"That's not good...!" Goku said.

"What!?" Cadence asked.

"Gohan's already exhausted too much energy! That blast is going to kill him!" Goku said.

"Then what do we do!?" Twilight asked.

Goku did the only thing he knew what to do.

"I have to help my son." He said.

He darted straight for Gohan!

"Are you insane!?" The three asked.

Gohan put all of his strength into pushing the ball back, but it was no use.

His body was shutting down.

Then....

He finally gave up.

He took something reminiscent of a last breath.

Gohan closed his eyes, and the sphere just started to take him.

He reverted...

It was pointless to fight...

But... It made him think.

He remembered all the good times his world had given him...

The acceptance, happiness and forgiveness...

His friends, both human and pony...

Sunset...

Goku...

Goten...

And...

And...

Gohan clenched his fists.

It's as if someone just blasted him full of energy again.

Gohan sprung back up into the ball!

He was determined to stop it at all costs!

He powered up into a Super Saiyan 2, screaming his head off.

Voice cracks and everything!

I think he needs throat surgery...

Gohan powered up, and his aura... Had a hint of blue inside yellow?

His pupils just disappeared, and then...

With a flash of light...

BOOM!

That star attack is gone!

It's remnants of plasma flew everywhere in space, and eventually disappeared.

Beerus was shocked.

Gohan was revealed to be back to his normal form.

Panting, and no more energy.

His gi was a little torn and dirty.

He was falling towards Equestria.

He had no more fight in him anymore.

For real.

No round 6 bullshit, he was done.

No more.

He did all he could.

"Gohan!" Goku yelled.

He was flying after his son.

He caught Gohan before he combusted.

"Oh no... I'm too late..." He said.

Beerus flew down so that he was on Goku's level.

"...How'd you do that...?" He asked.

Gohan managed to open his eyes and looked to the side.

"W...Wha...What?" He asked in between pants.

"What was that power?" Beerus asked.

"I... I don't... Know..." Gohan said in between pants.

"Save your energy, my son." Goku said.

"D-Dad..." Gohan said, looking up to his father.

The look on his face meant that he accepted fate as well.

"You don't know...? What a fascinating creature." Beerus said.

He aimed his hand at Goku and Gohan, holding some destruction energy inside it.

Goku and Gohan accepted their fates...

Until...

Beerus just stopped.

"What the...? Why'd you stop?" Goku asked.

"I just want to hear you say that you give up." Beerus said.

Gohan looked over to Beerus with the tiny strength he had left.

"I give up... I gave you all I had... In the end, there's no way for me to beat you." He said.

"You're a god. I'm just a human. I don't compare." Gohan said.

"Well, I'm glad you've finally realized the terror that is Beerus the Destroyer. But I know strength when I see it, and yours is formidable. I've lived for much longer than you can comprehend, and in all my travels and fights, you're the strongest mortal I've ever met." Beerus said.

Gohan made a weak chuckle.

"Thanks, Lord Beerus." He said.

"I'm so proud of you." Goku said.

"Thanks, dad..." Gohan said.

"...But you're only the second strongest warrior I've faced." Beerus said.

"Huh? Well, that's to be expected..." Gohan said.

"Who's the first?" Goku asked.

"Where is he..." Beerus said to himself, looking around.

And Whis just happened to be there.

"Hello!" He said.

"See my attendant, Whis, over there?" Beerus asked.

"Yeah..." Our Saiyans said.

"While it's true that he waits on me hand and foot, he's also my teacher." Beerus said.

"Seriously? Does that not mean you're the strongest in the universe...?" Goku asked.

"It depends on which reality you're referring to. I'm the Destroyer of this universe. The seventh. But there are others, too. Twelve universes altogether. And some have spawned warriors even mightier than us." Beerus said.

Gohan couldn't help but weakly chuckle.

Despite being told he's weak.

Beerus finally aimed his hand at them once more, ready to finish this.

"Wait, Lord Beerus." Goku said.

"What is it now." Beerus said.

"We want to say goodbye to everyone... Before we die." Goku said.

"...Please. It's our last request to be together." He pleaded.

...

"...All right, fine. Only because your son put up an amazing fight." Beerus said.

"Thanks, Lord Beerus." Goku said.

The castle...

The Crusaders finally stopped crying, but Pinkie was still all sad.

Our three spectators came back to the castle.

They landed.

"Twilight, Cadence, Rainbow Dash..." Celestia said.

Shining Armor and Cadence hugged.

Cadence took the baby with her magic.

"Did you manage to see the fight?" Luna asked.

"Some parts... They moved too fast for us." Twilight said.

"Where is Son Goku?" Luna asked.

"I think he's up there with- Oh. There he is." Rainbow Dash said, pointing a hoof.

Beerus, Whis, and Goku holding Gohan were coming down.

"...It seems Gohan has finally accepted defeat..." Celestia said.

"Huh... Didn't think it would go out like this." Shining Armor said.

Our four landed...

"It isn't often that I give a last request, but he put up an astounding fight, so I'll allow your goodbyes." Beerus said.

"Thanks, Lord Beerus." Goku said.

Celestia and Luna looked at each other, as if to say, "When does that ever happen?"

The other ponies all rushed outside.

"Are you alright?" Fluttershy asked Gohan.

"I'm fine... Don't worry about me." Gohan said.

Gohan tried to get up from Goku's arms, but he was too weak.

"It's okay, Gohan. You don't have to hurt yourself anymore." Goku said.

Pinkie came closest to Gohan.

"Gohan... I'm sorry..." She said.

A tear came to her eye.

"It...Its okay..." Gohan said.

Pinkie couldn't understand that, but yelling before they all died isn't a good idea.

"I'm sorry I couldn't win... I gave it all I had..." Gohan said.

"We can't be angry at y'all..." Applejack said.

...

"Are you done?" Beerus asked.

"I suppose so..." Celestia said.

Beerus aimed his hand at Gohan.

Destruction formed in his palm.

Everyone got together for a group hug.

Well, with Goku and Gohan at the center.

"Goodbye, everyone..." Gohan said.

Beerus was about to end it all.

But, suddenly...

"Ugh... Urgh..." He grunted.

"Is something wrong, my lord?" Whis asked.

Suddenly, Beerus started screaming as if someone was stabbing him.

Everyone was just shocked and confused.

Then...

Beerus just vanished.

"Er..." Whis responded...

Then he suddenly turned to stone.

Now everyone was just confused as to what just happened.

And then he just vanished.

What just happened...?

In the Land of the Kais...

Everyone was dead.

By that, I mean every Kai there had slash marks on their chests.

They died.

A shadowy figure stood beside their corpses.

The Kais all vanished, since that's what happens when they die.

The figure just laughed, looking into the crystal ball.

"Beerus the Destroyer... Pah! Couldn't even realize what was happening under his nose."

The shadowy figure looked to the skies.

"My next stop... Equestria..."
