"So that's a Super Saiyan 4..." Beerus said.

"I'm not losing to you. Get ready!" Gohan said.

"You're so sure of yourself..." Beerus asked.

He seemed to be sure of himself, but really, he wasn't sure of himself.

Beerus seemed unfazed by his transformation...

"Well, then. Come at me with all you have." He said.

Gohan grunted before he flew right at Beerus.

He threw a heavy punch!

Beerus... He blocked with his hand.

Gohan didn't pay much attention to that, he started throwing punch after punch after punch.

All the while yelling that fabled "ATATATATA"

Beerus blocked the same way for every punch.

Everyone was just looking in awe and confusion.

I mean, now there are shockwaves from just the fists alone.

Eventually Gohan threw a much heavier fist, which Beerus finally dodged.

He instantly punched Gohan in the jaw, spinning him around.

By that, I mean he made Gohan horizontal and he's spinning a few centimeters off the ground.

So he's kinda like a helicopter.

Gohan used the painful momentum to cup his hands together and smash them into Beerus' face!

Right in the cheek!

Beerus was hit... Actually, he was knocked away into the air!

"All right! He did some damage!" Goku cheered.

"Now he can win this!" Goten cheered.

Celestia and Luna were confused.

"Did he just...?" They asked each other.

"Princesses..." Shining Armor said from behind, holding Flurry Heart.

Cadence was with them, too.

"I think you need to explain to us what's happening." Cadence said.

"Of course." Celestia said.

Beerus stopped his momentum instantly.

"All right, mortal..." He said.

Gohan put two fingers to his head and teleported way above Beerus.

He put his hands back together for another Double Axe Handle.

He came crashing down on Beerus!

And he actually hit him again!

Beerus was sent flying down to the ground, but just stopped himself before reaching it.

He still seemed... Unfazed.

Gohan flew down at him, winding up his fist.

He let out a small war cry as he did this.

He was about to punch Beerus until...

Well, he stopped right before he touched Beerus.

Why?

Beerus stuck his foot up and kicked him in the stomach right before it hit him.

So Gohan was pretty locked in place.

Beerus maneuvered behind Gohan and kicked him to the side.

Gohan was sent flying, but he made his aura flare before flying straight back at Beerus.

"Not yet!" He yelled, throwing more punches.

Beerus flew straight at Gohan, too.

From there, the fight continued on in the sky.

But they weren't cloud level.

Shockwaves from their attacks colliding could be seen from miles away.

Eventually, Gohan started throwing many ki blasts at Beerus.

Beerus casually blocked by crossing his arms.

Smoke flew everywhere.

He still didn't seem fazed at all.

Gohan teleported in front of Beerus inside the smoke.

There, he charged a Kamehameha!

The smoke quickly disappeared as he charged it.

"What the..." Beerus asked.

"Kamehameha!" Gohan yelled, unleashing the devastating wave on Beerus.

Gohan put as much energy as he could into this blast.

Beerus blocked, but was being pushed back.

Still no signs of seriousness...

"FULL POWER!" Gohan screamed.

With that, the Kamehameha blast exploded, creating a fierce blue light and huge smoke.

It could be seen from all over Equestria.

The winds were felt by the bystanders.

"I can barely see...!" Goku said, blocking his face with his arms.

"I can't see!" Goten said, closing his eyes.

The ponies were struggling to stand in place.

It finally died down, and Gohan was left panting.

'I should really not put that much energy in my blasts...' He thought.

'But... I think it worked...' He also thought.

"How disappointing." Beerus said, shocking Gohan.

Beerus made the smoke disappear in an instant.

He had his hands behind his back, no cuts, and still no signs of seriousness.

"Was that really it? That was no power of a Super Saiyan God." Beerus said.

Gohan recoiled a bit.

He's mocking him...!

'Wow. I suddenly feel like Vegeta.' He thought.

"That's child's play. With a blast as weak as that, it's clear. You're no arch rival of mine." Beerus said.

"Shots fired!" Goku said.

"I'm not done yet! I won't let you destroy the planet!" Gohan yelled, letting his aura flare.

"If you can't see your inevitable demise, then you truly are a fool. You want to experience utmost pain before you die...?" Beerus asked.

"I want to protect what I love... If that's considered foolish, then I am a fool! I don't care!" Gohan yelled.

Beerus was behind Gohan without him realizing it.

"That's not the only kind of fool you are." He said creepily.

Gohan turned around in surprise to be met with a punch to the cheek!

A crack could be heard.

Beerus angled his attack downward, and Gohan flew down to the ground.

He yelped when he crash landed again.

"No!" Goten said.

Gohan managed to stand up from that...

That knocked the wind out of him.

"I... I'm still in..." He barely said.

Beerus landed softly.

"Are you done? Or are you going to still persist?" He asked.

"You know the answer..." Gohan said.

He darted at Beerus!

"I'm done fooling around with you." Beerus said grimly.

Gohan threw his left fist right at Beerus!

Beerus actually caught the fist this time.

"You don't know when to quit." He said.

Beerus put his other hand in a finger flick pose to Gohan's forehead.

Well, that obviously confused Gohan.

"This is over." Beerus said, flicking Gohan in the forehead.

Gohan was supposed to be sent flying...

But Beerus held on to his arm.

So...

Gohan screamed in immense pain.

It felt like his arm was being pulled off...

But that wasn't all.

His arm eventually started to ripple...

Gohan screamed even louder, because all the bones in his arm were actually breaking and breaking and breaking.

This was pretty hard to watch for everyone...

Practically everyone looked away.

Beerus just had the same unfazed expression.

Gohan was desperate to get out of it.

He tried slamming his other hand into Beerus' arm in vain.

It just didn't move.

"You mean we're all going to die!?" Cadence asked.

"Er... Yes..." Luna said.

Cadence cried into Shining Armor's neck.

Shining Armor kept his composure, but was obviously having a tough time taking it all in...

Flurry Heart did not know about anything, so she was just laughing and acting like a baby.

"It's all because of me..." Pinkie said, genuinely sad.

"Don't beat yourself up, Pinkie... You couldn't have known." Twilight said.

But, then Fluttershy kinda screamed and covered her eyes.

Kinda screamed... As in a teeny tiny "Ah!" Not really an "AAAAAHHHHH!"

Rarity couldn't look either.

The Crusaders all covered each other's eyes.

"What in the hay are y'all-..." Applejack said before she realized what was happening.

"What the heck is happening to his arm!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"How is that even physically possible!?" Twilight asked.

"Uh oh." Applejack said.

Gohan was still trying to get free, because with each second passing, each bone was being broken in half.

Half in half in half in half in half...

The pain was unbearable.

"Stop!" He pleaded.

Beerus showed no sign of letting go.

Gohan kept trying in vain.

"Stop hurting my brother!" Goten screamed.

Beerus looked to his side to see a Super Saiyan 2 Goten charging straight at him.

Even Goku was following him in the same way.

It's like lookalikes.

Beerus finally let Gohan go.

Well, Gohan was still flying a few feet before he crashed on the ground.

He coughed a bit of blood.

"We're not going down without a fight! Take this!" Goku yelled.

Him and Goten started throwing as many punches and kicks as they could.

Beerus somehow dodged everything while standing in place.

This went on for a while.

Gohan struggled to get himself up.

Even to sit up was a challenge.

The forehead flick alone just knocked the wind out him, and the arm breaking/liquefying was the icing on the cake.

Speaking of which...

"Not again...!" Gohan managed to say.

Beerus had enough of Goku and Goten's relentless assault, and he widened his eyes.

He created a huge invisible force while also creating extreme winds...

Goku and Goten were pushed back immensely, while also taking a lot of damage.

Goten was knocked back too much, and crashed into the wall.

Goku managed to hold out...

As soon as the winds ended, he clearly took a lot of damage.

He was sweating bullets from just that.

But he didn't give up!

He made his aura flare intensely!

"Body... Don't let me down!" Goku said to his body.

His aura turned into a crimson red.

So it was Kaioken.

"You morons don't know when to quit." Beerus said.

Goku charged at Beerus, throwing a fist down at him!

But it was light, not hard.

Beerus dodged again, moving back a bit.

He was expecting a repeat of last time.

But Goku changed his pattern.

Goku jumped, getting into a cannonball pose and flipping over to behind Beerus.

He threw his elbow back at Beerus.

Beerus was somewhat glad Goku didn't just repeat his previous mistakes.

But nonetheless, it didn't matter.

Beerus jumped forward to dodge that.

He turned around to see Goku throw a ki wave at him.

Beerus just flicked that away.

Goku didn't finish there, he dashed forward to perform a sweep kick.

Beerus jumped up to avoid that.

Goku jumped upwards to throw an upwards kick!

Beerus decided to fly up higher.

Goku flew higher to come right back down with a double axe handle.

Beerus dodged and landed quickly.

Goku came down at him charging a Kamehameha.

"Kamehame..." He yelled.

Beerus held his hand up to block the incoming blast.

But, Goku did something new.

He disappeared from sight.

Beerus didn't realize that Goku used Instant Transmission.

And he looked behind him to see a-

"HA!" Goku screamed, putting as much into this blast as he could.

A direct hit!

The blast blew into the skies.

The clouds around it just disappeared or had a huge hole in them.

It blinded practically everyone nearby.

And after Goku finally let up...

Smoke was everywhere.

No sight of Beerus.

His aura disappeared, and he was a regular Super Saiyan 2 again.

He was panting extremely hard.

'Did I... Did I win?' He thought.

He recoiled a bit from the Kaioken.

Little damage on his body...

...

"Well, it seems you aren't the Super Saiyan God either." Beerus said from inside the smoke.

Goku was beyond surprised and scared.

'Holy...!' Twilight thought.

'Shit!' Krillin Rainbow Dash thought.

Beerus quickly made the smoke just vanish.

He appeared without as little as a scratch.

"Y-You..." Goku managed to say.

Then...

Beerus just stuck his finger into Goku's forehead.

And with that...

Goku was locked in place.

His pupils just disappeared.

Soon after, he revered back to base for and collapsed again.

He fainted.

"Dad!" Goten yelled.

He emerged from the rubble and charged at Beerus again.

"Stupid kids...!" Beerus said, starting to get annoyed.

Goten threw a punch, and Beerus...

Well, he caught it with his index and middle finger.

"You stupid, arrogant brat!" Beerus yelled.

Goten tried comedically getting his hand out.

He tried pulling out the traditional way, then he used his feet to try and push off of Beerus.

"L-Let go of me you big meanie!" Goten yelled.

So Beerus let go.

Goten flipped a flew times before finally falling to the ground.

He stood up once more.

But he grabbed his hand in pain, because Beerus had a fingertrap grip.

"Ow! You bully!" Goten said.

"I'm not your playmate, little one. I'm tired of your childish games." Beerus said.

"You're one to talk! You're all mad because of some lousy pudding!" Goten yelled.

"What... You dare downplay my dessert tragedy?" Beerus asked grimly.

Beerus grabbed Goten by his shirt angrily.

"It might mean nothing to you, you pudding spoiled brat! But I've never tasted it before! I have no idea what it's like! Is it more creamy?" He yelled with an angry expression.

Goten just cowered in fear because a purple cat was screaming at him.

"Or gelatinous?" He asked with sweat all over his face.

"Is it savory or sweet?" He asked with a regular face.

"Lumpy or smooth!?" He asked with a shiny angry face.

"Is it a rustic flavor?" He asked with a sweet face.

"Or experimental!?" He asked with a chalky angry face.

"Rich or tart!? Or spicy!? It could be a brand new flavor, refined on your planet for THOUSANDS of years! And I would never KNOW! It could've shattered my whole understanding of what food is! I'll spend eons wondering 'What if?'! Do you still think that's trivial, boy!? DO YOU!?!?!?1?" Beerus screamed into Goten's face.

(Yes, that was intentional.)

Goten was tearing up throughout the whole thing...

And now he's crying.

"Is this just a completely one sided fight? This is just getting weirder and weirder." Twilight said.

"We just saw a purple cat scream into a little boy's face and now he's crying." Rainbow Dash said.

"Ugh, now you're even crying like a child!" Beerus yelled.

He just tossed Goten aside.

Goten just tried calming himself down while sitting up.

He wasn't a Super Saiyan anymore.

"Are there any more contenders available? Or can I finally destroy this planet in peace?" He asked.

"N-No...!" Gohan said.

He finally sat up.

"Oh, come on! You already had a go!" Beerus yelled.

Gohan reached into his senzu bean pouch...

'Only one...!? Come on...! Who ate them!?' He thought.

Scootaloo happened to burp at this moment.

"Excuse you." Sweetie Belle said.

'Better make this one count...' Gohan thought.

He ate it.

With that, his arm was back to normal and his stamina was restored.

He jumped back up.

Beerus was surprised.

"How did you...?" He asked.

"Senzu bean. Healed me right up." Gohan said.

"...A wonder drug...?" Beerus asked.

"Of sorts." Gohan said.

'Now... How am I going to beat him...?' He thought.

Beerus sighed.

"I just want to get out of here already, and yet you insist on wasting my time." He said.

"I refuse to let you destroy this planet without a fight!" Gohan yelled.

"That's it." Beerus said grimly.

And with that...

Beerus appeared in front of Gohan, surprising him.

He grabbed him by the arm.

"This will be over in a second." Beerus said, taking his grab back and putting his hand over Gohan's face.

Gohan couldn't see at all...

Everyone watching was just confused as to what was happening.

...

"Sleep." Beerus said, forehead flicking Gohan yet again.

This time, with a little bit more force.

And in an instant...

Gohan flipped over and his head was dragging across the ground.

He was dragged very far...

Once he finally stopped being dragged across the ground...

He just laid there.

He lost all of his energy.

He couldn't get up.

All the bystanders were shocked.

Well, except for two.

The Royal Sisters.

"I'm afraid this was to be expected..." Luna said.

"W-What do you mean?" Twilight asked.

"We knew from the start that nopony can even fathom Lord Beerus' true strength." Celestia said.

"We did not think he would come here, but we were wrong..." Luna said.

Goten finally managed to stop crying.

And then he saw Gohan just downed in one hit.

"Gohan!" He called, running after him.

He was at the fallen one's side, trying to get him up.

"Get up! Gohan, get up!" He pleaded.

Beerus just looked on. No cares.

"It seems you're letting me destroy the planet after all. Oh well." He said.

He held his hand to the ground with some purple energy.

"Gohan, please! You never failed us before, and you can't do that now!" Goten pleaded.

Gohan heard everything.

He managed to gain the tenacity to move.

Even though it was just a little flinch, Goten and Beerus managed to notice.

"You cannot be serious." Beerus said, stopping the blast.

Gohan moved his arms a bit...

He groaned as he slowly pushed off the ground.

Goten started chuckling joyfully.

"Yeah!" He said.

"For my sake!" Beerus said.

Everyone looked pretty happy and surprised that Gohan was getting up!

Gohan managed to get on his feet, and stood up with a hunched back.

He seemed ready to fight yet again!

...Until he couldn't bear to stand and got back down on one knee.

...Wow. That was short lived.

As shown on the expression on everyone's face.

'Oh, thank me.' Beerus thought.

He walked up to the now downed Gohan.

"You fought well, but this is over." Beerus said, aiming a palm at Gohan.

Gohan just sat there...

He wanted to fight on, he wanted to keep going.

But he couldn't muster the strength to stand for even a moment.

'I want to fight... But... I can't...' He thought.

Some destruction energy appeared in front of Beerus' palm.

"...I'm sorry, everyone." Gohan said to himself.

Goten obviously overheard that.

"I couldn't protect you this time... I can only hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me for my weakness..." Gohan muttered.

A tear came to his eye.

That made Goten think.

Gohan... All he had done for him...

He... He couldn't leave without giving something back.

Beerus finally was about to deliver unto Gohan his end.

"Hakai." Beerus said.

...

"NO!" Goten screamed.

In that instant of a moment, Goten acted.

He jumped, and shoved Gohan out of the way!

Gohan did not expect that, and was actually shoved away.

Beerus looked surprised as to what just happened.

He already let the destruction rip.

Gohan managed to look back at Goten for one last time...

And before the destruction hit him, Gohan could read Goten's lips.

"Thank you."

With a bright smile...

But then...

He screamed in agony.

As the destruction energy slowly tore every bit of him apart and into nothing...

Nearly every bystander looked in horror.

Gohan couldn't believe it.

"N...No!" He called.

He reached out to Goten's disappearing body in vain.

And then...

Goten was gone.

Destroyed.

No trace left.

He gave his life to spare Gohan, even if it was just as little as a few seconds...

Gohan desperately looked around.

He moved forward on his knees and tried feeling for anything Goten.

No matter what he did...

Goten was gone.

He was... Gone.

Gone forever...

Only a feeling of total sadness and anguish filled Gohan.

He held his head low.

"Hmm. That was unexpected." Beerus said.

Gohan grunted.

That voice...

The voice of the bastard that did this.

The bastard that took Goten away.

The feeling of sadness quickly washed away with the feeling of intense anger.

"You... killed him." Gohan said.

I finally got this out. Took my ass long enough.

Family issues and major contemplation caused this to be overwhelmingly late.
