It's been quite a while since Gohan came to Ponyville.

Many of the denizens liked Gohan.

But many hated Gohan, he wasn't a gryphon or a pony.

It wasn't normal to them.

Gohan lived outside of Ponyville, actually. In a small shack.

Built by himself, mainly because he'd eat out the entire pantry of wherever he had lived.

He could've went to Sweet Apple Acres, but that wasn't a good option either.

Actually, he didn't even ask.

He just didn't want to repeat the mistake of eating everything.

He comes into Ponyville to see Twilight to discuss mathematics, or to read a book.

He also helps Applejack down at Sweet Apple Acres, plans a few parties with Pinkie Pie, and was part of the weather team with Rainbow Dash.

Despite not being a pegasus, he could still move clouds.

And, boy. Was it difficult for Rainbow Dash to get him in.

Some serious begging and testing.

In Mayor Mare's office...

Three individuals were.

Rainbow Dash, Mayor Mare and Gohan.

"I deny him a job on the weather team!" Mayor Mare said.

"But why!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"He's not only flightless, but an overgrown monkey! It's absurd to even consider him for the job!" Mayor Mare said.

"Mayor Mare, if I may..." Gohan said.

"I can fly." He said.

To prove it, he jumped up and floated in mid-air.

He spun around the room.

Then, he stood on the ground again.

"I know I seem strange, but I swear, I won't be a nuisance." He said.

"Hmm... You seem to mean well... However, since you are no pony, I suppose I can let you join after testing..." Mayor Mare said.

"I'll do it!" Gohan said.

"If you are as Rainbow Dash says... Then this will be a tad dangerous. The town is running low on metals, but the mines are full of bats. That's why they're barren, as reports show attacks hospitalize ponies." Mayor Mare said.

"So you want me to get which minerals?" Gohan asked.

"It's not necessarily the minerals we seek, it's the removal of the bats. I know it sounds weird, but nopony's daring to go in there." Mayor Mare said.

"I guess I'll do it. Bats aren't much of a problem." Gohan said.

So, now Gohan and Rainbow Dash were outside the mine.

It happened to be inside the mountain harboring Canterlot.

Rainbow Dash wasn't going to go in, but Mayor Mare gave Gohan a helmet with a light.

Gohan just tossed that to the side.

"Good luck, Gohan. I know it's going to be difficult, but I bet you can do it!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh, I have the perfect plan." Gohan said.

"What is it?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Well, I was going to use a cow, but I realized how useless that is and how cruel it is. So, from studying bats, I know something they really dislike." Gohan said.

"What?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Artificial light. You might want to stay out of the way for a quick moment." Gohan said.

He dashed right into that hellhole of bats.

Rainbow Dash stepped to the side like she was told to.

She was just standing there, soon to be bored.

"What's taking him so long...?" She muttered.

Then she saw a bat flying out of the mine.

"Finally!" She said.

Then a few more came out...

Then...

There was a huge barrage of blasts flying straight out of the mine!

"What the...!?" Rainbow Dash asked, completely flabbergasted.

Bats were desperately flying out of the mine.

None were harmed, but were they desperate.

Eventually the bats and the blasts finally stopped.

Gohan slowly walked out with a smile.

"That was so cool! You got every one out!?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yep! Not a trace in there! But they were very hostile. They look like they're going to the Everfree Forest." Gohan said.

As it turns out, they were.

And that's how Gohan got the job.

He eventually had gotten enough money to buy more of his father's gis from Rarity.

Gohan spends a lot of his time training, alone.

Rainbow Dash tried sparring with Gohan once, but Gohan accidentally punched her into a rock and she went to the hospital.

Let's watch.

"Are you sure about this?" Gohan asked.

The two were in a field with a few rocks.

"Yep! I wanna see what ya got!" Rainbow Dash said.

"All right. Let's do this! Come at me!" Gohan said.

Rainbow Dash flew at Gohan in a flash!

She threw a very swift forehoof!

...Gohan dodged and punched her to the side.

He added a bit too much strength, and...

She smashed into a rock.

Gohan gasped and rushed to her.

"Rainbow! Are you okay!? I'm so sorry!" He said.

Apparently she's unconscious now.

"I need to get her to the hospital..." Gohan said, carrying her and flying quickly.

And that's how she landed in the hospital.

Usually, Gohan does 10,000 push ups and sit ups.

He also practiced his punches and kicks.

Occasionally, he fired a Kamehameha wave into the sky.

Sometimes, Gohan could be seen as a Super Saiyan in Ponyville in order to keep his stamina maxed.

This has led to some rude remarks from some of the townsfolk.

But that hasn't harmed Gohan badly, and he's fine.

Gohan has had his moments where he let his rage speak, rather than himself.

Such as the time when Trixie came.

"What are you? A monkey? The Great and Powerful Trixie shall turn you into a pony at once!" The 'Great and Powerful' Trixie exclaimed before shooting magic at Gohan.

"Like! I! Said!... I DONT CARE!" Gohan yelled, swatting the beam away and throwing a ki blast at Trixie.

Trixie dodged, and nearly got hit by the blast.

"How dare you attempt to strike the Great and Powerful Trixie!? The Great and Powerful Trixie has managed to defeat an Ursa Major with her powerful magic!" Trixie yelled.

Many ponies gasped.

"The Ursa Major is only a constellation! I prevented the entire Solar System from being destroyed, and I can increase my power hundreds of times over!" Gohan yelled.

"That's a load of hooey!" A pony yelled.

"Oh yeah!?" Gohan yelled.

Gohan made his Super Saiyan transformation extra dramatic by yelling, causing an earthquake, and turning his hair blond and black again multiple times.

Many ponies began to run away.

Trixie was standing still, despite being scared.

"That's enough!" A shy voice yelled.

Gohan went back into his base form as Fluttershy stopped his tiny assault.

"Gohan! Don't scare the other ponies away! Ignore her, I recommend you go home." Fluttershy said.

"Oh... Oh gosh, I'm so, so sorry Fluttershy... I didn't mean to-" "Don't worry, it's alright. You can lose it once in a while, you know?" Fluttershy interrupted.

"Y-Yeah... I'll see you around." Gohan said.

"You better run..." Trixie whispered.

There were moments where Gohan wanted to do something.

Like when Gilda, the gryphon came to town. She was even mean to Gohan!

Gohan was moving the clouds for the afternoon. It was scheduled to be cloudy, so he got quite a few.

Rainbow Dash and Gilda were racing, and having lots of fun.

Gohan watched them perform tricks and all, but he needed to use a few of the clouds they were using.

After Rainbow Dash finished her latest trick, Gohan approached the old school friends.

"Hey!" Gohan said, waving.

"Oh hey there, dude!" Rainbow Dash said, waving a hoof.

"Who's this... Thing?" Gilda asked.

"Oh, wait... I know what you are! I've read it in my textbooks before, I thought gryphons never existed!" Gohan said.

"Uh, Gohan? The Gryphon Kingdom exists?" Rainbow Dash said.

"What?... Oh, I'm sorry, I must have read it in my old home." Gohan said.

"Well, that's cool, 'dude'." Gilda said with a bit of anger.

"I'm Son Gohan, and who are you?" Gohan asked.

"The name's Gilda." Gilda said.

"I have to go do some weather duties, so catch you later, Gilda!" Rainbow Dash said, flying away.

"See ya, Dash." Gilda said.

"Alright then. I'm sorry to ask, but I'm gonna need a few of these clouds, is that alright?" Gohan asked.

"Beat it, weirdo." Gilda said.

"B-But... Can I just please take one?" Gohan asked, holding up a finger.

"I said beat it! Buzz off, you... Thing. Trying to use all of these clouds here." Gilda said, hugging the clouds closely.

"For what?" Gohan asked.

"Just get out of here before I pound you, smarty!" Gilda said, holding up a fist.

Gohan tried restraining his anger, this 'Gilda' wasn't making it easy.

Gohan sighed. "Fine. See you around, Gilda." He said before flying away quickly.

Like when the dragon snored smoke all over Ponyville, and he was ready to beat it up. But, he didn't do it.

The few leaves merely touched Fluttershy, yet she screamed.

"AVALANCHE!" She screamed.

The Mane 6 were running everywhere, trying to avoid the falling rocks.

Gohan threw many ki blasts to destroy the falling rocks and boulders.

It wasn't enough, though.

All of his friends could escape the carnage, but Gohan was engulfed by the avalanche.

After it stopped, the Mane 6 was looking all over for Gohan.

"Do you think he's...?" Applejack asked.

"N-No way, he's probably pulling a prank on us!" Rainbow Dash said.

During this, a faint yell could be heard. It grew louder in volume as time went by.

"Is the dragon waking up?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Why do y- Actually, I hear something." Twilight said.

Fluttershy hid behind a bush.

Gohan burst through the remains of the avalanche.

"Oh my, you're still alive and well!" Rarity said.

"Yeah, I'm alright!" Gohan said.

"But it appears your clothes have a few cuts." Rarity said, pointing a hoof at Gohan's ripped gi.

"It's alright. I could get it fixed later!" Gohan said.

"Yes, come by later. Now, onward!" Rarity said.

Everyone made it to the cave where the dragon slept.

Twilight tried to persuade the dragon into leaving, Rarity tried using her charm, and Pinkie Pie did... Whatever she did.

Rainbow Dash angered the dragon greatly, and she was sent flying at her friends from a yell.

The rest of the Mane 6, except for Fluttershy fell.

Gohan flew up to the dragon, and was about to attack.

"No Gohan!" Goku yelled from Other World.

Gohan stopped in his tracks and flew back a little.

"Dad?" He asked.

"Don't fight, there's a different solution!" Goku said.

"W-What is it?" Gohan asked.

"You should look behind you." Goku said.

Gohan turned around to see Fluttershy with an angry face.

"HOW DARE YOU!?" She yelled at the dragon.

Gohan flew down, and rushed to the rest of the Mane 6.

After a lengthy talk to the dragon from Fluttershy, he burst into tears.

There were times when he shined. Well, temporarily. Like when the Ursa Minor, then the Ursa Major came.

It was nighttime.

Snips and Snails summoned an Ursa Minor, but it was considered to be an Ursa Major.

All of the ponies in Ponyville were running and panicking.

Twilight managed to give the Ursa Minor milk, and to get it back in the cave it came from.

Everyone was cheering for Twilight, who thought she had bragged.

However, she didn't calm the Ursa Minor's mother, the Ursa Major.

Gohan felt it's presence incoming.

"Uh... Guys? I think we have a bigger problem than a cub." Gohan said.

"Now what are y- Oh my apples." Applejack said.

The Ursa Major, nearly ten times the size of the Ursa Minor, was ready to destroy Ponyville.

Twilight attempted to calm it, but her magic was far to weak to handle it.

"Oh no! That thing's going to destroy Ponyville!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Not on my watch!" Gohan yelled.

Gohan flew up to the Ursa Major, and punched it from side to side multiple times.

"T-That one's insane!" Mayor Mare exclaimed.

Gohan uppercutted the Ursa Major, launching it into the air.

He quickly flew behind it, cupping his hands together and performing a double axe handle.

The Ursa Major was falling to the ground.

Gohan didn't stop there, he quickly went back to the ground, moments before the Ursa Major would touch the ground.

He cupped his hands together by his side.

"It's time to put you back where you belong! Kamehameha!" Gohan yelled, unleashing the Kamehameha wave on the Ursa Major.

The Ursa Major was blasted away into outer space.

Gohan stopped the beam.

There was only silence.

Nopony cheered.

They all just looked in shock.

Gohan looked to the Mane 6.

"A-Are you guys alright?" He asked.

There's a lot more, but his father and his friends stopped him from acting in most of those times.

There are also times when Gohan didn't do what was expected of him. Not that he acted out of turn, but he wasn't like other ponies.

Like the first time he saw Zecora.

Everyone in Ponyville was inside. It was all strange, why is that?

Twilight and Spike were outside as usual, but noticed that no one was outside, at all.

Well, except for Gohan.

Gohan saw that the shops were closed.

'Strange...' He thought to himself.

'Why is everyone indoors today?' He thought.

Twilight and Spike were just pulled into Sugarcube Corner.

Gohan witnessed that. But he could sense another being in town.

There was a zebra, just digging. It stared at Gohan with mean eyes.

Gohan stared the zebra down.

Applejack's little sister, Applebloom was lurking around.

The zebra walked back to the Everfree Forest after quite the staring contest.

Applebloom followed.

Gohan stood there, confused as to what just happened. He had a staring contest with a zebra, and he won because it just walked away.

The Mane 6 rushed out of Sugarcube Corner.

"Gohan, lad! Have y'all seen Applebloom?" Applejack asked.

"Uh, no. I haven't. I just stared at a zebra for some random reason." Gohan said.

"That zebra is Zecora, and she may have taken my sister Applebloom! Lets giddy up to the Everfree Forest!" Applejack said.

"U-Uh... Alright..." Gohan said, following the Mane 6.

"Why didn't you run away from the spooky, scary and evil Zecora?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"For the last time, Pinkie, Zecora is probably not evil!" Twilight said.

"Uh... Yeah, Zecora was just staring." Gohan said.

Gohan has had a fun, saddening, and silencing time. Now, let's see where he is now!
