Evening,
A prison cell, Bakoe Camp

Rainbow Dash sat in her cell weeping for herself. Normally she wasn’t one to cry, however she couldn’t stop herself now. Here she was, the greatest flyer in all of Equestria, powerless to halt her imminent death via firing squad.

She thought back to all the life experiences she would never get to enjoy. She would never get to grow old with her friends. She would never get to tell Fluttershy her true feelings. However, the worst part was that she would never get the opportunity to raise Scootaloo and take care of her. She only wished that Twilight or one of her friends would take care of her adoptive daughter. Rainbow Dash hoped she would be able to find happiness in her life even without her adoptive mother to be there.

Rainbow Dash’s thoughts were interrupted by the sound of her prison cell door grinding open. Without having to be instructed she rose from her cot and approached the cell door. Following her captors, she entered into the dimly lit hallway and with them down the corridors, presumably to her execution spot. She had given up any hope of escape and thus followed without a struggle or any resistance.

Opening a door, her captors led her into the freezing night. Rainbow Dash immediately felt her whole entire body began shaking from the frigid cold of the Russian winter. However, she knew that it ultimately didn’t matter how cold she was. She would be dead in a few minutes.

After a few more minutes of walking, her and her captors approached a snow covered berm. In the moonlight she could see a group of armed soldiers standing approximately ten feet in front of the berm. Obeying her captors instructions, Rainbow Dash marched to the base of the berm, knowing full well what was in store for her.
Suddenly a searchlight turned on, illuminating the position where she stood. As soon as her eyes adjusted to the blinding brightness she looked around the lit circle where she stood. On the ground beneath her hooves was glistening red blood, evidence of an execution just hours or even minutes before.
The commanding officer of the armed men stepped forward and said, “Rainbow Dash, you stand accused of numerous crimes against the Soviet people and are hereby sentenced to death via firing squad. Any last words before you are blindfolded?”
“Rot in Tartarus you bastards! And you can keep your damn blindfold!” shouted Rainbow Dash.
“Fair enough.”
“Ready!”
Rainbow Dash flinched as her executioners rifles lifted.
“Aim!”
She braced herself for her imminent shooting.
“Fire!”
However, all Rainbow Dash herd was the sound of just under half a dozen hammers clicking as her executioners dry fired.
For several seconds Rainbow Dash stood still, trembling in fear, confused as to why her executioners were laughing. The commanding officer stepped forth and said, “Come now! Why so serious? Can’t you see this is a prank! You’re execution isn’t slated for another week!”
A prank! Part Rainbow Dash felt like charging at the human and beating his smug grin off of his face. However she knew that this would only bring further suffering upon herself and thus decided against it. “It’s pointless,” she thought to herself, “they’re going to kill me anyways.
