Three Hours Later,
Interrogation Cell

Rainbow Dash once again sat tied down to a chair in an interrogation cell. Once again she was being questioned by her captors. However, this time she wasn’t resisting them and was instead answering their questions.

“Do you confess to being a member to an anti-Soviet conspiracy?” asked one of the inquisitors.

“Yes I do,” said Rainbow Dash, fighting back the tears that came from the humiliation of “breaking” under torture.

An hour earlier, the guards had began the interrogation with a beating. Then they proceeded to the questioning part of the interrogation. Initially, Rainbow Dash had refused to say anything, opting instead to remain silent in the face of violence.

However, when they began striking her solitary wing with their batons, she broke down. The excruciating pain of her right wing getting broken was too much for her to take. It was then that she decided to confess to the allegations being waged against her. Everyone has their breaking point.
However, she refused to answer truthfully to questions on details about the Equestrian Air Force and its Special Operations Wing. She wouldn’t ever endanger the well-being and safety of others in order to save her own hide. She would rather die than betray her country.

A Week Later, December 12, 1948
A Soviet courtroom in Azerbaijan SSR, USSR

“Will the accused please rise for her verdict,” said the judge.

Rainbow Dash did as she was instructed and waited for the judge to read out her sentence. Rainbow Dash knew that she would be convicted at the end of this show trial. However, she hoped that if she played her role and followed her script then she would be given a lenient sentence and someday be released back to Equestria. Pleading guilty to the litany of ridiculous charges the NKVD had provided to her was one of the most humiliating things she had done. However, she knew that it was her only hope of avoiding execution.

“The accused, Ms. Rainbow Dash, is hereby sentenced to death for espionage and other crimes against the st-”

The judge was interrupted by Rainbow Dash loudly screaming and wailing at her death sentence. Angered, the judge ordered one of the guards present to remove Rainbow Dash while he continued reading the long list of charges that she was “convicted” of.

However, he would have to wait until Rainbow Dash was completely removed from the room, her hysterical screaming and incoherent pleads for mercy delaying a continuation of the Stalinist show-trial.

Rainbow Dash was soon to become just a nameless statistic in the long list of victims of the Stalinist state.
