Oh how time flies, as soon as we wrapped up winter, Celestia and Zecora got the weird cravings. Celestia ate TUNA, she had fish and then was craving steak. I wasn't going to touch that with a ten foot pole, and Zecora. She wanted the freshest tree bark, what the actual fuck? Eating meat and trees, I've heard of smoking trees. Before you ask, yes I have been known to light up a blunt every now and then. I'm a marine, I've got PTSD, I've killed people. I may have a hotel in my foot but I'm no boogly moogly moogly! It was poker night, Zecora and Celestia retired to bed early and I personally wondered when Celestia was going to announce to the world that she had been pregnant. We had a private doctor come in and give her an ultrasound. My company is starting to produce human technology, but without destroying the environment. Yes I know we mainly persist on being a lumber manufacturing company but they also replant trees that get cut down. Why? Because of Fluttershy, I also created clean fuel, remember when I said that I basically made electricity? It was with solar and wind farms.

But like I said, it was poker night. Shining Armor, Big Mac, Discord, Luna, Luke, Bogeden, Filthy Rich and I were all huddled around a table. Discord shuffled last time and then I threw an Uno card at him. "Shuffle it regularly." I told him, "Or else I'm going to turn you into a flying avocado."

"I still can't believe you can do magic." Luke said.

"I can't believe you're still trying to give Mac a foot job under the table." I mentioned. "By the way, that's me you're trying to rub off." Everyone started to laugh except for Luke who got red in the face.

"I'm just teasing you, but seriously stop. I'm married." I said and he did.

"As much fun as this is. What really concerns me is the color of your magic." Luna pointed out.

"It's black, so what?" I asked as I shuffled the next hand.

"You're very easily able to be tempted to the dark side of magic." Luna said.

"You mean that eye glowing magic? Yeah I already got that." I said as I dealt the next hand. "Turns out I make dark magic my bitch, it's easy to control and I have no problem with it."

Discord and Luna fell out of their seats. "H-HOW?!" Luna questioned.

"You've never seen the horrors of modern warfare." I looked up at Luna and Discord. "I held people that I considered my brothers as they died. Try to get darker than that." I said and that shut both Discord and Luna up.

With poker night concluded, we all stayed for drinks. I was busy mixing drinks together. Shining asked me, "How are you so good at mixing drinks?"

"I worked for a bar while I was a freshman in college. I got real good at mixing drinks." I start humming a song.

Luke stopped talking with Mac long enough to hear what I was humming. "Is that the Cool Patrol song?"

"Um...No........" I said. "It's not......"

"Liar." Luke told me. "You are embarrassed to love that song." He pointed out.

I take out my phone and plug it into a speaker system and play the song.

Everyone started to laugh, I flew along with the song. Rainbow was looking at me with a shocked expression, after the song was over Rainbow flew up and kissed me. "Why didn't you tell me that you could fly?"

"I don't know." I shrugged. "I know flying is important to you but why are you so excited?"

"Because we can teach little fire to fly!" Rainbow giggled at her own pun.

"That pun was bad and you should feel bad." I looked into her rose colored eyes and she looked down.

"Alright that was bad." Rainbow admitted. "But I still can't believe you can fly!"She kissed me again. "Let's go to the nearest cloud. I got an idea." Rainbow tried to tug me outside.

"What do you want to be grounded for 10 months again?" I joked and everyone laughed, Rainbow blushed.

"No, one is enough." Rainbow said. "I'm getting my tubes tied."

"But you're such a great mom!" I said.

"I know that much, but I have to be a mom to Scootaloo and Firefly. I have to mentor them. I just don't know about giving birth again." Rainbow said.

"I think this is a conversation that's meant to be private." Shining pointed out and I floated down to the ground.

"I agree, let's talk about this tomorrow. Tonight we're having some fun." I served Shining's drink. "Sorry for taking long." I told him.

"It's fine. I'm glad to have the night off of Flurry's crying, and then there's Pupa." Shining said, "You remember the changling baby? She was actually revealed to the public and they took it very well. Sunburst and Cadence are taking care of the both of them. So I can get drunk."

"WOO BOOZE!" Bogeden smashed a beer bottle against his head and grabbed another. "I can drink all day!"

"You're an idiot." Luke said.

"Yeah, but he's a drunk 300 pound idiot. So don't piss him off." I mentioned while making my favorite drink. By mixing Blue Moon and Guinness I make a drink called Dark side of the Moon. The two eventually made layers and then I drank it. Luna liked the sound of the drink so she had some as well, she really enjoyed it.

The next morning Rainbow woke me up earlier than usual. The sun wasn't even up, I got up from in between the tangled bodies of the other girls. I looked at the clock. "Rainbow, it's 5 o'clock in the morning. What are you doing waking me up at this time?" I whispered.

"We're going flying, everyone else is still asleep. You're coming with me, but don't worry I made you some coffee." Rainbow said as she dragged me out of bed.

I got dressed as quietly as possible and when I walked out of the walk in closet Celestia was getting up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes she asked. "Mickey? What are you doing up?"

"Rainbow, that's why." I replied.

"Going flying." Rainbow whispered and pulled me outside with the cup of coffee in her hand. "Drink this, I made it the way you like it. Sugar and milk with barely any real coffee." She handed me a styrofoam cup and I drank from it.

The sugar kick started my thinking process and I got ready to fly. "Alright let's go." I surrounded myself with magic as Rainbow took off and I followed right after her. I caught up to her shortly and she soon landed on a cloud, I landed next to her and she looked at me.

"Cloud walking spell?" She asked and I nodded, "There's a reason why I wanted you to come out here this early." She continued. "This is the spot where I first saw you."

I looked at her. "Oh, you mean."

"When you first arrived in Equestria, I saw the smoking wreck of metal and thought what was going on? But then I saw you inside that burning wreckage, at first I thought you were dead, but then. I saw you were breathing, I'm not as kind as Fluttershy, but I knew that I wasn't going to watch you die. I just didn't know that they were going to do those things to you after you got better." Rainbow looked down.

"You blame yourself don't you?" I asked her.

"Yes." She wiped some tears away.

"I was angry at those ponies at first. Asking me to basically be a sex slave, I grew to resent ponies in general. Except for two, you and Fluttershy." She looked at me through her watery eyes. "I was inches away from death, and a alien being that you didn't know. I'd bet you good money that this won't be the last time I'm that close to dying, but I never hated you for what happened to me Rainbow. In fact, you gave me a chance to live, I love you for it. Thank you."

"I've never heard you say that before." Rainbow said.

"Well I am." I held her hand. "Is this the only reason why you brought me out here?"

Rainbow looked at her Daring Do watch, "Almost time."

"For what?" I asked and she just pointed to the east. I followed her finger to see that the sun was rising. I smiled and put my arm around her.

"I wake up early every day and come out here. Seeing the sun rise, it's calming." She rested her head on my shoulder.

I snuggled into her shoulder, her rainbow mane and cyan fur tickling my face. "I love you Rainbow Dash." I turned to kiss her on the cheek.
