I once heard a friend say that True Friendship never ends. I have seen it come to life with Storm Chaser and Ditzy Doo I can see that forming in Misty and Daisy only time will tell.

Over the following days was relaxing even with the intense training Misty and Daisy did off and on throughout the day. We managed to get quite a lot done outside communications was restored Dj Pon3’s broadcast was received loud and clear. That wasn’t all we started get transmissions from Enclave command in Navaro we locked down all outside communications scrambling our transmitter and receiver no one can gain access to our systems remotely or communicate with us unless the encryption was known. We used a new Encryption code that was never implemented only known to me and Rainbow. We also limited the access to the com room to myself and Storm. You needed to have clearance to access and use the com system. That way no one could betray our base location. We even manage to reacquire the bases link to the SPP towers observation eyes. The Security system on the spp almost seemed Happy when we reconnected and helped us conceal the links connection which was odd.

With said acquired we quickly located our would be hunters. It has been two days since we were alerted to them so they were making slow but good progress to New Appleloosa. They should make it by Nightfall would have cut down travel time by at least a day if they had a means to fly everywhere like we could. I realized that Flight was a luxury that most do not have access to. I accessed the base intercom “Attention all Personnel report to the Briefing room I repeat report to the briefing room that is all.” I said as I clicked off the intercom.

Moments Later I was in the briefing room where Storm Misty and Daisy stood at attention. I walked up to the podium turned to them. “At ease take a seat girls we will drop formalities for the time being speak your mind I want opinions and options from what I have determined the group hired will reach New Appleloosa sometime tonight or early morning tomorrow I want suggestions options and opinions on how best avoided fighting them or eliminating them I would rather have more ponies to help us out at least one more pony a Five Pony team is always quick easy and properly trained can get passed any problem without requiring support. I am of the same as Watcher on this I would hate to see ponies with potential through their lives away against what very well could be the only true military operation left in Equestria.” I said looking them in the eyes.

“Well Littlepip did share with us the needler schematics we could make some form of sleep dart or needle with something that would knock them out we could bring them here lock them in the brig and talk to them.” Misty offered up as a suggestion.

“Hmm. not a bad Idea plus if we use the manufacturing equipment we have access to we could even improve on the design this is after all a homemade weapon never even thought of back then would be a good way to capture them without killing them.” I said nodding “Get on it I want it as an option look into it see what the medical would suggest as the best knock out for a needle type delivery system.” I said as an added thought holding a hoof up to delay her departure.

“I would like to keep this at all possible without bloodshed but be prepared to defend yourselfs should things not go accordingly. If at all possible avoid killing blows but incapacitate them. I like the Idea of a needler it would be non lethal unless a lethal dose was administered. Make sure if we do we have the right clips marked for what they are loaded with would not like to have the wrong things happening.” I said getting nods from all around.

“I was thinking along similar lines as Misty but using our stealth tech to lay them out. But with a Needler it would be a simple as hitting them with a dart and there out instead of having or potentially having to visit medical because of head trauma.” Daisy said.

I nodded. “That is still an option we need to make sure we would even have the Needler option armor could play a real big part in that if there wearing leather barding no problem but if its enhanced barding like Littlepip has with metal it will not work unless we know where the armor plates are.” I said.

“Got anything Storm?” I asked looking at my longtime teammate.

“Well we can always surround them and attempt parlay before Knocking them out taking their unconscious bodies through them in the brig possibly breaching our security. I would not like to have unknown or untrusted ponies anywhere near the base if possible but we do not always have the chance in being picky do we I agree with you Cj we need personnel but can we truly trust a bunch of mercs who’s only goal in life is caps not the job doubt these 3 really thought about what they were getting into when accepting that job High number of caps anypony could be bought we know that well enough Cj.” Storm said and I had to nod in agreement.

“That is sadly true Even in high placed military officers have betrayed their ponies for Large amounts of bits in the past or to just look the other way as infiltrators stole classified information.” I said with a sigh.

“The question is do you think we have a chance to getting them as recruits do you think we might be able to if so do we have the means to keep there mouths shut about this place. At this moment we do not have anything to offer that could counter a million caps unless we sold 100 or so High grade military weapons with the best deals available we might be able to but do we really have the necessary material to replace said weapons granted right now we probably do but could we keep it up plus we would want to arm guards for caravans and or convoys with the best weapons to defend said convoys/caravans. If we can manage to spark that fire that was there before what happened to them to drive them to merc work we might be able to get them as guards for caravans I’m hoping Ditzy will be able and willing to be our liaison with caravans and or convoys yes that would mean we would eventually have to bring her here. With them having a Flyer we would be able to send one of the Tortoises with a caravan/convoy as added protection.” I said.

“There is another matter we do need to discuss as well what is our next move we have info stating we might have more equipment in Fillydelphia but it’s a dangerous place to be we do have the raptor but we need ponies to truly be able to use her completely and fully. I can fly her that's not the problem it’s keeping her in the air without the 10 ponies that operate the bridge stations not to mention the engineering staff required we can’t steal the bases maintenance crews of droids. So if we go to Filly we will need to prepare for a long trip plus with the reports of these hellhounds along the route. I wouldn’t want to be on the ground around along that roadway. I thank you for informing us of the dangers of hellhounds Daisy. Besides that the point is we have potential Steel Ranger armor designated for this base and other equipment we would need to one get more flyers. Two we would need to have a complete battalion of steel rangers to escort us which would never happen. I want to be prepared to have again full tortoise and supply wagon If this information again was left to us by Rainbow.” I said.

“I wouldn’t want to leave equipment that could be useful to fall into the hoofs of others that would abuse the equipment or just plan out destroy it. I also have to be of the mind that It could have already been stripped. I also know that Rainbow wished me too go there for some reason what that reason is I do not know.” I said.

“Well looks like we have another MAW facility to visit What are we expecting there ma’am.” Storm said.

“Well from what I understand the shipment of ranger armor is there according to what Rainbow said and this card kind of points me to Fillydelphia for what reason I have no clue but I have a feeling it is important call it a hunch call it intuition I do not know but its just a feeling I got when replaying that message.” I said sighing. “I wish I knew for sure.”

“So we have some hired hooves to deal with need to prepare to head into Slaver territory packing as light as possible without leaving vital supply behind and hit a defunct supply warehouse for things that may or maynot be there sounds like fun.” Storm Wing said.

“Fun sounds to me like a vanity project and or that we are looking for trouble with not only the Rangers there but the slaver army that has almost complete control of the city and you call it fun?” Misty asked.

I looked at her for a moment. “Misty do you know how useful the equipment we can acquire not to mention how much we would need said equipment If we want to really help the wasteland. Lets not forget that we might be able to acquire more armor’s to equip guards with but also more material to keep this base operational I’m not just looking at the short term here I’m thinking in the long run with the equipment available that we can acquire at this underground warehouse we would be able to train more ponies earth ponies and even unicorns in the use of power armor right now we only have one power armor available for an earth pony. And a hundred pegasi. How likely are we going to get pegasi on our side in the coming days very slim we have more chance to get Earth and Unicorn ponies then we would Pegasi but we still have that armor available on the off chance that we do somehow get pegasi willing to join us plus we need to get things the base can use to keep it operational we have countless supplies right now but they're not infinite. Sure we can recycle damaged or burnt out components making new ones from them but even that takes small amounts of supply that once we exhaust its gone then we will have to hunt for the components or materials to keep our supply up. I do not like putting everything at risk like this but risks need to be taken if only to gather the information needed to truly help everypony. Believe me when I say this Going to Fillydelphia is the last thing I want to do but it also means the mission to help Equestria and its people whether its Pony Griffon Zebra any of the other races that survived. No pony said this was going to be easy I know I never said it would be. The road we and I do mean we you me Storm and Daisy are on is going to be a hard one to follow we will have opposition there will be resistance to change. Hell we may end up fighting a big battle sometime who knows I can not predict the future All I know is what I know all I can do is do the right thing. I am as scared as you are Misty I may not show it but I am things I have heard scare me hellhounds are probably what happened to the Diamond dogs now there the most feared thing in Equestria.” I said.

“Look we have to at least look into this for one it could be vital. I will not go into this without a plan or course of action We are connected to the SPP network we should be able to look at Fillydelphia from the tower there At least see If there is anyway to effectively avoid any patrols or slaver teams maybe we could free some ponies and they could assist us with pony power. As free individuals with all the wrights we all have.” I said.

“I’ll see if I can pull up the feed from that tower after we finish discussing what to do about the hired mercs.” Storm said getting a nod from me.

“There is something about them that confused me. I was looking at the feed that we have access to know The thestral is a mare not a stallion there kind can be hard to tell they like to keep their armor the same only reason I figured that out was the fact that she was taking a moment to pleasure herself I did switch views to other locations nothing other then that Rather blatant act being out in the open like that.” I said.

Misty and Daisy burst out into a fit of giggles.

“Anyway back on topic These mercs will be In New Appleloosa by tonight or early morning Ditzy will notify me of what they shop for and when they depart her shop we will then need to be watching for them to either attempt parlay knock them out with a sleep dart or take them out completely I want to be prepared for each option available. So get to it Dismissed.” I said as my teammates went to follow their orders.

Standing in the command center ( Overmares Office ) I was checking out information and Enclave activity when I heard the broadcast of Dj Pon3.

“Good morning, wastelanders! How is everypony doing? This is your pal, DJ Pon3 and, well, it’s that time again… that’s right, time for some news! I hear rumor that Monterey Jack, cheese shop owner up in that oh-so-hoity-toity Tenpony Tower, has been arrested for deciding that being a thieving jack-ass is the appropriate response to an act of kindness. “In other news, somepony’s finally arrived to fix my toaster. Hallelujah! It’s breakfast time! Here’s a little Sapphire Shores to get you through the morning.”

I could not help but Laugh out loud at hearing that a Toaster repair pony had come to fix Homages toaster but knowing that Littlepip probably was that Toaster repair pony. Come to think about it took her a few days to get there wonder what held her up. Eh! Wasn’t important. I had more things to look into but It was good to know that Littlepip was alright she’s a sweet filly smart but has some issues she’s probably going to have to deal with sooner than later.

A knock at the door. “Yes?” I asked. “Ma’am do you have a moment?” Misty asked.

“Of course come in Misty.” I said As the door opened and Misty walked in.

“What’s on your mind Misty you seemed troubled about something.” I said noticing her frown and look of uncertainty.
“The weapons manufacturer terminal accepted the Schematic for the needler and came up with a few based designs for improving the design as you requested one is for a needler rifle that should have no issues punching through standard leather barding and scout reinforced armors the only thing is that the range is not very high keeping in mind that it’s pretty much a spring loaded needle it is silent. The medical system recommended a sedative that would put somepony asleep yet there is none of it available we do have one that will temporarily paralyze a pony that is a mild poison in low doses Lethal in high doses to render the pony in question to a state of unconsciousness would require 3 needles to each target depending on bodie ration.” Misty said.

“I see so the needler is still a valid option. Has the rifle or pistols been made?” I asked.

“Yes Ma’am they have total of 4 have been made needles too enough for 10 clips each. We just have to coat or load the needles with the what is to be used though that's where the snag is Ma’am we have the manticore poison but it’s being held for making antivenom and there is more than enough to do that and make the darts needed to put the mares to sleep.” She replied

“I see.” I said as I pulled up the Medical authorization and released what was required.

“Hmm. Request has been granted provided we bring in more poison glands of the manticore at least 5 the medical system is asking for a resupply on glands.” I sighed “Just great now I’m getting requests for supplies thought I would have enough time before we had low supply on.” I said.

“Yeah Manticores are not much of a problem it’s finding some and making sure the glands are intact.” Misty said.

“What’s on your mind Misty that wasn’t the only thing bothering you is it.” I said looking her in the eyes.

“May I ask you a personal question ma’am?”

“I suppose. What’s up?” I asked.

Storm raised an eyebrow and walked over and looked at the database I had up she didn’t even last a second before her face was as red as ours was. “Estrus relief devices.” She squeaked.

“Was that really necessary for Equestria’s recovery?” Storm Chaser squeaked again.

“Like I said Captain Do you think we should make some or do you think it is even Vital to um even think of at this time.” I said.

“Well Ma’am I would say until recovery begins we should hold off but we should at least have some of these Relief devices available for the off chance we have a situation on our hoofs.” Storm Chaser said managing not to squeak this time but her wing were definitely showing that she was agitated.

“A wise precaution Captain. I shall have some made at least 3 for each of us ranging from the small to large variety Does that sound good to you?” I asked with a slight smirk Getting a nod from Storm.

“Ok well let’s see here.” I said as I requested the three selected Items requesting 4 of each of be made. Confirmation came as a beep then a message appeared items have been made.

“Well Girls our Estrus relief devices are ready I would not go to overboard in using them though we can’t always be stuck in our rooms playing with sex toys.” I said getting a groan from Storm.

“Well I suppose we pegasus mares are excotic down here not many mares down here with wings that thestral will make a good teammate should she and the others agree to drop this futile hunt of theres. I would rather them be allies then enemies.” I said.

“Well you are the first two I have ever met mares that is that are well Nice other mares are not very nice I know a mare in Friendship who isn’t nice. Anyway now that the venom from the manticores available our dart/needler plan is ready I’ll get the needles loaded with the charge.” Misty said.

“Oh now that’s another way we can do it. Provide a slight shock to their system will drive them into passing out like the tasers.”Storm said getting a nod from me. “Make it so.”

“We can do that while we go and get our new toys we can pick up Daisy along the way.” I said both nodded in agreement.

We left the CC collecting Daisy along the way she had been cleaning her armor and weapons after the intensive training she did today Motioning for her to follow which she did I lead the way to get the gifts for Daisy and Misty. Storm and I had used these before they have not probably didn’t even know they existed until I told Misty. When we got there I paused in front of the four unmarked case turning to my companions. “First I want to say I this you two have been working hard Training to better your understanding of combat and tactics used in a team environment. As such I have decided with the assistance of the Captain here to give you each a gift. Misty already knows what this gift is because she was there. I want you two to be able to relax even more so destress yourselfs Kind of wished we had a spa here in the base. We don’t so we have to find other means of stress relief besides taking it out on the target drones. So after a talk with Misty I did some looking in the database and found a little gift from a friend. So girls I present you with this case inside you will fine three Devices of the same type but of different sizes Storm Chaser and I have used these devices before and can say they do in a pinch. For that certain itch that we can’t always scratch.” I said as I hoofed a case to Daisy and Misty. Storm picked hers up with a snicker.

“Um what are these.” Daisy asked not even opening the case.

Daisy’s face went intently red and she peaked in the case snapped it shut and she squeaked.

“I was thinking about random things when I noticed your drink and forgot about one of the few things I completely forgot about.” I said getting a look of confusion in Daisy’s Eyes. “What do you mean Cloudy?” She asked.

“We have a bottling line here including cap production and capping of bottles of Sparkle Cola and Sarsaparilla. We have over 2 billion caps within this base at this very moment. With enough scrap metal to make an even million from just the weapons manufacturing. Not to mention the raw ore the base can process.” I said getting Daisy’s Jaw to drop. I heard a clatter and thud and spun around to see Misty Rubbing her head the chair she was sitting on its back she fell backwards probably overbalanced. “Are you alright Misty?” I asked getting a nod from here but she too had a look of shock on her face.

“With that kind of caps CJ we might even be able to contract Gawds talions to assist us and so much more.” Daisy said quietly.

“Question is should we take a million or two with us when we go out and about If we do two mil we can each carry 500k each or have one pony within the team designated as our trader who would then hold the caps and do all trade related transactions I have already spoken to Ditzy about possibility of her being a Liaison with trade caravans or convoys. I was also thinking of teaching members of each team we have with skills in bartering knowing what is in good condition so on so forth. I do not plan for us to be the only ones being sent out on missions to A scout out B gather intel C escort caravans or D being sent on patrol.” I said.

Daisy seemed to perk up. “Well Ma’am I am willing to do what I can to assist with trade related information as well as do trade for the team. Teach the art of trade and barter on our down time while we are in between missions.” Daisy said.

“I figured as much so you are the our barter and trader for this team which will be known as Alpha team. I am Alpha 1, Storms Alpha 2, Daisy your Alpha 3 Misty Alpha 4 you're also designated as team medic due to your medical spells as well as combat heavy support.” I said getting nods from both mares.

Storm walked in and froze. “Did I miss something?”

“No just assigning designations of the team mates your Alpha 2 Daisy’s 3 and Misty’s 4 Daisy is our trader and barterer she deals with sell and buying. Misty is our teams medic and heavy support. Until we get a fifth you and I will be designated as Leader/Scout me Second in command/communications. You and I are pulling double Duties Until we get that fifth pony we will not have a designated pony for coms. I am also thinking if we make the team’s six ponies each we could designate one as gunner. For the Tortoises we would be able to send out with the caravans/convoys.” I said.

We dump that all back at base to be recycled. We keep scrap in our armors for the repair functions.” I said getting nods from both Storm and Daisy.

“Oh right not sure if your armors got it or not but Mine, Daisy’s and Storm’s power armor has a repair talisman built in from a pouch or bin whatever you wish to call it has scrap metal that it will consume to repair our armors. Should damage be done to our armor We also have a doctor enchantment that will administer healing potions med x and radaway should we need it but Should our injury say we have a broken leg it will not administer it until medical clearance is given and leg has been mended or set. I said.

“That and if we come across a pony needing medical aid.” I said making Misty smile again.

Also sent the field medic qualifications to Misty’s pipbuck as well. I looked to Misty who froze. “Misty you can pass this Field Medic test look at the second file I sent to your pipbuck.” She did and relaxed. “You have the Field Medic in the bag it using your pipbuck the test you're taking is for unicorn ponies not the test Storm and I had to pass we don’t have the archan magic unicorns have. So you should pass the test easily your Field Equipment will be waiting for you in your quarters. You will also have all relative data sent to the terminal for the Field Doctors test and what you will require to learn to pass the test We will give you the time you need to learn it in Study it whenever you can even on a mission while you're sitting not doing a shift at pulling or com duty. While in flight would be a good thing too but remember do not forget to keep your ears open incase we come under attack.” I said.

“This test will register you as the medic allowing you access to the medical field loadout when you pass the Field Doctors test you will have access to even more equipment the saddlebags are heavily reinforced and armored to carry the medical supplies for a field team including triage.” Storm said.

“Plus I wouldn’t have placed you or registered you as the field medic and field doctor in training if you couldn’t pass the test for Field Medic We believe in you Misty you can do this.” I added

Misty smiled proceeded to the exam room. I followed to give her encouragement I watched as she took the test. I couldn’t help but smile as she answered questions demonstrated healing magic the mending spell to how to set a broken leg and even triage procedures. To see her happy put a smile on my face. The results of the test came in she passed with high marks. My pipbuck chirped at me and I looked at it requisition approved Medical loadout approved Misty Sparks Field Medic qualified. Recommended be promotion to Sergeant. I typed it in and approved the promotion. Also placed order in to have Misty’s Armor to be adorn with the Ministry of Peace symbol designating her as a medical pony. Misty came out of the exam room with a smile on her face.

“Nice Job Sergeant Sparks Report to The Armory bay with your Armor so your armor can be modified You are a Combat Field Medic now and have received a promotion to sergeant congratulations I knew you could do it.” I said smiling at her she just pulled me into a hug.
“How did you know I would be able to feel so satisfied being a medic I can honestly say My mother would be proud of me I am doing something that I feel I can really do I’m happy being able to help others even in a small way that certification has so much meaning sure it only writing on a paper but it means so much. And will mean so much to everypony out there.” Misty said.
Misty quickly trotted to collect her armor and report to the armory bay for armor modifications heavily reinforced armored medical saddlebags added armor systems updated and enhanced for combat field medic. Sergeant insignia added and Ministry of Peace Medical emblem added.

“Try it on Misty your armors systems have been upgraded to include medical diagnostics.” I said.

Misty put her armor on she didn’t notice much of a difference except she now had additional storage. Her pipbuck helped her organize her new improved inventory system. I posed an inquiry to the base computer knowing about current pre-war tech and the magical properties that we know would it be possible to modify A Steel Ranger Armor to be used by a Unicorn with no loss of containment. While the bases computer was working Daisy came in taking one look at Misty and smiled.

“Passed your test I see Congratulations Sergeant and got promoted as well nice.” Daisy said.

Misty Nodded. “Yes I’m happy I didn’t know that I would enjoy working medical as much as I did with plants. I always did have a knack for spells, but to know I have the ability to really be of use to the wasteland as a medical pony is amazing. That Oath I took just now as a medic I will not openly cause harm but I do know that I can not Not fight If it came to it so combat field medic I am being trained for combat field doctor. I could really help ponies with everything I’m learning. That is amazing in of itself.” Misty said.

We just need to get some more Steel Ranger armor to be able to modify it to this design no major changes to the armor itself except a treated metal alloy that we have in stock to allow the use of unicorn magic around the area where the horn would be on the helmet other than that its the same.” I said in surprise.

“So you're saying that we can make steel ranger armor?” Daisy asked.

“Yes we can provided we have the supplies to make the armors matrix and the actual matrix design we could. The recycle system within the base will take what is recycled and brake it down making it new So if we put a damaged or destroyed power armor with the matrix intact. We could have a completely repaired and brand new power armor. With our matrix master key we should be able to do more as well. I would like it if you could work with Misty Daisy you went through Steel Ranger power armor training your the one most qualified to train her work with her strengthening her up to be able to use the armor even we pegasi go through intense training to use power armor similar to the Steel Rangers. Our armor maybe enchanted to reduce its weight but it actually weighs about as much as your armor does Daisy but with the magic power flowing The enchantment negates the weight of the armor. Storm and I could effectively use Steel Ranger armor if we had to but it would cramp our wings being restricted as they would be.” I said and giggled at Daisy’s expression. “I take it you Didn’t know that.” I added.
Daisy shook her head. “No ma’am I didn’t know you could use Ranger armor.”

“I do not like to use it because Like I said in pins our wings and it can pinch them pretty badly amongst other things.” I said. “On another note because of my work with the Pegasus Power Armors I know the arcane matrix layout for the armor I helped design the the armor hell My armor was the prototype. The matrix is complicated but It has been programed into the matrix for construction should the need ever arrive or we need to completely repair the spell matrix on a Power Armor. Was to have a lot more Pegasi at the base. It might be possible for the systems to map and store the information for the Steel Ranger armor but it would take a lot of material to make a complete armor from scratch so Recycling a scrapped Power Armor even if we could reactivate the power systems would be cheaper on mats then making a brand new one. Because It uses the existing material after repairing it and we can input changes into the new armor the recycler makes so If we find a Steel Rangers armor or multiple armors that are damaged we can use that to make a Unicorn Steel Ranger Armor I would hate to throw a perfectly good power armor into the recycler just to get one made for Misty so working with her to be power Armor trained in the meantime. Would be beneficial.”

Daisy and Misty nodded. “Understood Ma’am we will get on it as soon as possible.” They said getting a nod from me.
“Don’t push yourselves girls we need to be alert and until we have more ponies to help us. So we can take time and remain at base we have to go out there and help as much as possible. I hate being understaffed but I can not help it at the moment.” I said with a heavy sigh.

Daisy and Misty nodded. “We agree with you ma’am would be nice to be able to Sit back maybe train others to guard and assist ponies but we are the only 4 mares at the moment that can do anything…” Looking around they could see all the good this base could do… “We have to protect this base but we also have to have access to the equipment and munitions it can supply us with there is only so much 4 ponies alone can do the more we have the better it will be in the long run but who can we really trust. I think we should find some armors that would work to get Misty some true power armor Might even have to make a raid on a small outpost of rangers We stumbled on they didn’t see us or if the noticed us on there efs they didn’t come to investigate.” They Said.

I looked at my friends and smiled. “We will find a way Storm and I have been through a lot of things this is just one new challenge for us to conquer. At least we have to friends to help us through this troubling times.” I said.

“Get some sleep girls I have one thing to check on at the CC and I’ll be turning in as well Want to see if those hired hoofs made it to New Appleloosa.” I said getting a nod from my three friends.

When I got to the CC I did indeed see that they had made it even with the thestral mare’s pause for self pleasure. I did see that they went to the inn and not left so they probably went to sleep. So I went to my quarters and laid down for sleep.

She will not be able to move very fast yet but the added weights are also increasing the armor protection she has an AP round is probably the only thing that can really get her through that armor unless its the head.” Daisy said as she had Misty walking around.

Last night, our Wasteland Savior...that kid from Stable Two, found and rescued the good folks of Gutterville! And what horror did she save them from, you ask? A psychotic ghoul scientist who was performing experiments with Taint and who had bred himself a small army of manticores! That, folks, is what they mean by crushing two radroaches with one hoof: she not only saved the lives of over two dozen ponies, but she solved Manehattan’s manticore problem too! I was drinking some Sparkle Cola and did a classic spit take “Oh great I’ll be smelling carrots for a month.”.I exclaimed while spluttering coughing “Oh boy Littlepip must have found her special somepony Homage is laying it on thick.” I add feeling a little Envious of that little filly.

Looking at it I noticed who it was From and opened the frequency. “Yes Silver Bell whats Ditzy have for us.” I asked the little filly on the other end. “Well momma says to use caution they have disruption grenades not from her they had some. She also says they purchased some Ap rounds and They bought that Energy weapon you sold her as collateral and Payment for services that have yet to be completed, The one with the strange wings has the rifle they bought. They got medical supplies as well as food then left the shop. Looking out now they're heading for the gate out of town.” Silver bell said.

“Thanks Silver. We will stop by when we get a moment we need to prepare for another type of confrontation Is it me or are we having more of them?” I asked getting nods from everypony.

“Ok girls gear up time to go introduce ourselves to the hired thieves. I want to know who hired us and what their objective is.” I said as Daisy got into her Armor Misty was already in hers Storm and I rushed off and got ours on met back at the hangar.

“Ok girls listen up they are to be treated as a threat there carrying Disruption grenades and Ap ammo and are now equipped with a Magical energy rifle. This info comes from Ditzy they had over a thousand caps to buy that weapon the quality and condition alone. Was worth up to a half a mil in caps according to Ditzy.” I said getting nods. “With that in mind we should try at least not bring this to combat. I will approach them and speak to them Misty I want you to be ready to take action should they strike at me Daisy and storm will be with me I want both of you to flank them. I want to keep em alive We need the information they could provide.” I said getting nods.

“Let’s go meat these group hop in the tortoise girls we will be hiding it after we land I want to be prepared use stealth bucks girls to sneak up on them Correction I want us together but MIsty with Daisy Storm I want you above them If they drop or launch one of them spark grenades I want you and Misty to Pop all 3 of them with The Darts 2 each Stay out of Effective range of the grenades if possible you won't be affected much buy it Misty but Storm would I want these three alive.” I said getting nods from everypony. “Ok Load up let’s go meet them we will hide the tortoise and prepare the ambush I checked there heading this way so lets give them a warm Hello.” I said getting laughs from the others.
A moment later we were out of the base we touched down and hid the tortoise we then found the best location to stop them to talk would be at I had placed a two way speaker unit near the location. I took up location farther back in sniper scoped Misty Daisy and Storm where at the speaker location ready to activate their stealth to flank them. 25 minutes later they stealthed up 5 minutes after that I took my shot into the ground at their hooves. “Hult. Not a step farther.” I said.

When the shot hit the ground in front of the leader she drew her weapon so did the others taking battle stances. A sigh was heard from the speaker. “Do you really think 4 trained military officers would be stupid enough to be where you could see us I am a sniper fully trained I could have ended this before it even began if I so choose to But I want to talk Peacefully as it should be oh! Before I forget Do not make any sudden movements my ponies have orders to take you out should you so much as twitch You are surrounded so I wouldn’t suggest you press your luck.” I said.

A moment later I deactivate my stealth in front of them My gatlings barrels spinning ready to fire. “Ok Fillies.” I said looking at the three in question who gasped at my appearance. “I am General Cloud Striker of the Equestrian Airguard you have been hired to track us and acquire our equipment and gear I want to know why and for what purpose would it serve anypony to have my equipment or the equipment of my team or is it what we had in the tortoise that got some ponies interest? That doesn’t matter right now what matters is that I have a Unicorn mare earth pony mare and a thestral mare hunting my team and the property of the Equestrian Military.”

The Merc Leader gulped when she looked at my weapons armor especially my sniper. “We were hired to acquire your equipment by any means necessary payed a big advancement to acquire what we thought we would need to get the job done. We do intend to complete our job one way or another.” The merc said.

“Commendable! But suicidal when you think about it You only know that there are 4 of us that is true…..” with a nodding notion Daisy Misty and Storm Dropped stealth… “I also know that we outgun you by quite a bit.” I said hearing the gasps from each one. “Oh buck we are so screwed!” The Thestral mare exclaimed while dropping her weapon with and putting her hooves up and wings extended showing no additional weapons.

After taking a look at the firepower around them the other two followed there companion's actions. “Sergeant would you mind securing their equipment, I do not want to approach them just yet. I want this done peacefully not with bloodshed.” I said as Misty using her tk removed all the grenades and weapons that they laid down.

“Why?” The merc asked.

“Why am I not killing you or why do I not want bloodshed?” I asked her in return.

“I know how to use a battle saddle we had one for training I can fire and use a wide range of weapons including wingblades. Mine got damaged beyond repair a few jobs back have yet to find a place that has any. I do not want to return home a disgrace. I left home to help ponies one thing after another forced us to become mercs to be able to help ponies.” Moon Lily said.

“Alright how about armor training?” I asked.

“Armor training?” She looked at my armor. “Do you mean Power Armor training?” she asked.

“Yes. I do have Power Armor available to flyers you may not be a pegasus pony Moon Lily but you are a flyer and the armor was designed to be used by winged ponies Like You me and Storm.” I said a look of ah on her face made me giggle.

“That is of course if you wish to join us you and your friends would be given a task to complete should they join with you. Your training included a wide range of weapons I take it included melee weapons and hoof to hoof so that wouldn’t be to hard to get you up to speed.” I said in thought. “As for you two Training would be harder its would not be easy you will be tested to see what weapon would be best suited for you than training in said weapon would take place. I am not a tough Pony to get along with I would and will not push a training regimen on anypony.” I added.

Since these are custom made Power Armors ordered by Rainbow Dash herself they are Not equipped with the Nova Surge Rifles at this time but the integrated weapons are there This armor comes with customizable battle saddle systems advance storage system medical doctor enchantment and automatic repair talisman to repair the armor. It has an Enhanced EFS system with addition of your pipbuck it now also has S.A.T.S available. You can choose your weapon loadout Although I would recommend at least having One Nova Surge Rifle being integrated into the Armors weapon energy supply as a backup. The armor is also enchanted to not way a thing to the wearer. Allowing them to still use there enate magic to cloud walk or stand on a cloud.this doesn’t stop you from using the full strength of the armor's weight behind an attack. Hence the reason I asked you if you had Power Armor training since you have had the physical training to use it properly you will be Issued one Moon Lily as for You Sharp Shot and Divenia you will be issued standard heavy duty power enhanced armor we happen to have power enhanced unicorn armor and are hoping to acquire more Power Armor for the ground pounders in other words Steel Ranger armor which can be modified to be useable for unicorns. But as of yet we are limited to having One Steel Ranger armor not assigned. Something might be able to be done about that as time goes on So both of you will be undergoing strength enhancing training so you could effectively use Power Armor. Knight Daisy Streaks will be incharge of said training. As for weapons we have a vast selection taking your talent Sharp You would be long range specialist of some sort whether that's sniping considering or long range shooting in general. Divenia I do not know much about you what you’re capable of or what weapons you prefer.” I said.
“My talent is in enchantments as for weapons I really have no preferences I generally use what is available to me.” Divenia said.

“I see very interesting not many enchanters out there from what I have gathered. It is a rare talent to have being able to enchant something even make talismans provided you know the enchantment to use. We might be able to help you with your education in enchantment considering we have the knowledge to teach such here. Take the Sergeant her talent lies with Hydroponics and magic dealing with medical she has picked up medical magic rather quickly learning most of the spells required to be a Unicorn Doctor she has to study up on the pony anatomy and medical procedures before being qualified as a full fledged doctor. She’s a combat Field Medic at the moment undergoing training to be a Combat field Doctor. You three will eventually be paired up with three more ponies and become a team yourselfs more likely to guard the convoys and or caravans that will be coming to trade. At this moment you're with us so do the jobs you're assigned to do.” I said.

Nodding I walked over to a Power Armor bring it out of the line. “Ok Moon Lily as I said we have not added the full complement of armaments for the armor but we did incorporate a Single Nova Surge Rifle into each armor system.” I said before pulling the armor away I hit a button the walls flipped over revealing weapon selection for this class of armor available and on hoof. “These are the choices you have available for selection until we acquire fully trained enchanter with talismans to spare flight based weapons are what we have available for each armor is what is displayed before you.” I said.
“You do of course have the option to go the full Nova Surge Rifle rout should you choose to we have the additional rifles available. You have three empty weapon slots available currently.” I said giving her a nod to make her choices.

Moon Lily looked over the selection and picked the twin .308 cal semi auto rifles and a .44 cal mid range sniper. I had an eyebrow raised at that. “Interesting choice.” I said giving a nod. Storm and I quickly connected the weapons to the armors systems after Moon Lily put on the armor we had to get the confirmation of the weapons being properly connected.

Moon Lily squeaked In joy when the armor was activated. “Now Lily you will notice an indicator with a lightning bolt icon that's your weapon power for your Nova Surge Rifle you will be getting notifications that connections being established for your weapon selection you will notice three empty ports.” I said.

“Yes Ma’am I see them.” She replied. “Good let us know when a successful connection are made when it comes to your mid range sniper you will get or should get a loading bar that pops up this weapon comes with a power armor scope function that's loaded into the power armors system so you can activate the scope. Once all weapons are installed I want you to run a status check on all systems Your pipbuck has already transferred your Identification and registered the armor as yours and Vise versa If i was to connect my pipbuck to this armor I would get your ID and loadout information. As well as the Armors status.” I said getting a nod from her.

We made short work with the help of Moon Lily she was squealing in joy bouncing in happiness and moving remarkably well her wings were fully flared as she looked at herself in the mirror. Storm and I couldn’t help it we cracked up laughing which was joined in by Lily a moment later when she realized that she was acting like a foal in a candy store.

“I’m just glad I have this helmet on or you would see how red I am.” Moon Lily said.

“Trust Us Moon Lily we have seen that reaction to New Recruits getting there Power Armor for the first time. Now that is done let us move on to your ammunition and get your weapons loaded so we can calibrate your targeting system The Missile Launcher pods are already calibrated. So you will not need to load missiles at this time but you will have them before we leave the base for a mission.” I said.
We loaded Moon Lily’s armor up with standard and ap ammunition for each of her rifles we did decide to load her missiles as well Moon Lily was shocked a bit as her ammo count rose higher. After completing loading her ammo we heard the click that she loaded the weapons.

“Ok Lily we want you to put rounds down range hit that target in the center aim for the critical shot the red marked area. We want to see how calibrated the weapons are and have systems get them properly aligned with your sights.” I said getting a nod we waited.
When Moon Lily fired she got some really good shots in the armors systems corrected the alignment so she would hit her target were she was aiming. I smiled.

“Very good Moon Lily lock your weapon systems down and get use to the armor. Fly around in the Hangar that is where you woke up at and is one of the only real place where you can fly. Do not go into any other location unless authorized to do so CC is off limits to everypony sept Myself and The captain unless you're given permission to enter. Most locations in the base are restricted The armory support bay are not restricted The Armory itself has restricted access. There is a reason. Now come along Sharp Shot Divenia we need to get you into your armor and outfitted.” I said as the turned and followed me.

I went to another section of the Armory where our standard power enhanced armors were located I stopped by two armors one Unicorn and one earth. “Alright you Two here are your armors for the time being they are enhanced partly with power you have an efs and an integrated targeting system For the battle saddle weaponry both of these armors are set up as reconnaissance and scouting 90% of our armors are set up for that so do not worry that you're getting the poor end of the board here We just do not have all our armors we had on order in the mission we will be doing is to see if our next supply list we have is still there considering it is an underground warehouse we will be visiting it is likely that it has yet been picked clean. Should we find what we are looking for we shall have more armor to assign out Now Storm Wing will assist you with your armors I will be pulling the selection of weaponry for the saddles out that we have for you..” I said I turned and walked through The Armory’s door to do just that.

When I came back out 20 minutes later With a push cart with weapons on it I stopped by the table and began to place down the weapons onto two tables the weapon selection was slightly different for one had a .50 cal battle saddle required sniper rifle and a few impressive caliber weapons. The other one had shotguns sub and assault weapon variety. “Ok Filly’s these are the selection of weapons you have two slots available to you on your saddles unlike the power armor verity this is what most front Line soldier had available to them when equipped with a battle saddle. Pick carefully for even though we can change weapon loadouts on these battle saddles easier then we can on our current power armors these were all meant for the type of armor you're assigned to at this moment with one exception the sniper here. This weapon was to go to a power armor primarily but is capable to be set on the armors battle saddle of the armors you're equipping with slightly reduced range due to power limitations. The scope on it will not reach the max range for the weapon. Plus she packs one hell of a punch.” I said.

Sharp shot took the sniper as I knew she would and an assault carbine. Divenia took a semi auto and an assault carbine.THe armor was equipped than they were lead to get ammunition for their weapons. “Be advised girls yoru armors do not have the storage capacity as The power armors or the enhanced storage of the Sergeants due to the fact that armor was a custom design for the shotguns she wields it has an enhanced storage system that also has been increased do to her role as medical officer. So we will have a stock of ammo for your weapons available should you run out in the field.” I said getting nods of understanding from both.

“Alright now that you're outfitted we will take you to see how well you can work well together as you girls came in with only three members until we get a fourth you will be tested as a team of six The Captain will be in command. Pay attention to orders or signals that might be given.” I said before Calling Daisy and Misty to report to the training room.

As we arrived at the training room Daisy and Misty were there and ready to go. “Alright Girls listen up Daisy you and Misty will be performing a team exercise with six ponies The Captain is of course in charge of this exercise You and Daisy are an established team As are Storm and I the purpose of this exercise is to see how you will work with your other teammates Eventually the whole team will be in there but somepony has to operate the controls. So for this Exercise You will be paired with Sharp Shot Daisy Misty you will get Divenia and Captain your with Lily. You are to assist your paired partner throughout the exercise along with following orders. This will give you a chance to develop camaraderie amongst the team so they work better together.” I said getting nods from all present.

“Alright everypony mind your partner follow direction and orders. Daisy and Misty have done this training they know what to do but everything is not always the same for each training session. Good Luck Ladies remember this is live fire exercise with low caliber ammo being used so no injuries are expected should one occur though training will be shut down and medical treatment administered. So do not worry I can see everything that is happening on that training field.” I said.

“Get ready when you hear the buzzer the training has begun.” I said.

I watched as they got into their paired partner for this exercise Moon Lily was moving with precise movements along with Storm. Daisy and Sharp were doing similar keeping the left flank covered. Misty and Divenia were protecting the right flank. Storm and Lily opened up On the drones Daisy and Sharp likewise engaged Misty and Divenia to began to fight when they came to there side to test their defences. I sent some to there Six seeing how they handled being surrounded. Storm Noticed that they were getting flanked and Misty and Daisy’s were directed to eliminate the flanking maneuver. Which they did Lily Sharp Shot Divenia walked out with Hits in pretty vital area’s.

“Alright lady’s not bad. You three need to work on communication with your partners. Sharp Shot Moon Lily Divenia you three are a team I can see you have worked together like this know this When working with a teammate you're not familiar with Like Storm and Lily they worked well together with some minor issues with communication Unlike you two Lily has guard training She has probably done a lot of these types of training most likely not with Live ammo though and sparing. So listen to you teammate they are there for to assist you we all work together or we will fall apart.” I said. “Keep that in mind We will test how you three work together as well.” I said.

“Alright ponies off to bed get some sleep busy training day tomorrow.” I said.

They left the room all except Storm. “They show promise Cj Moon Lily is probably the most trained out of them and she wishes to show what she can do. But she know’s were taking these training seriously. Shrap is pretty good with a sniper and I'm impressed with Daisy and Misty's performance. In that exercise.” Storm said getting a Nod from me. “Get some sleep Storm I’m putting the Armory on lockdown as well as the Entrances to the base. I do not want them CC is going to have posted guards Any one of them goes down will set off the alarms any attempts to access CC will set off alarms.” I said getting a nod of agreement.

“Good Night CJ.” Storm said. “Good Night Chaser sleep well.” I replied.
