Walking into the lobby of the ruined Pegasus dorm, Diamond, Topaz, Emerald and Amethyst are dragging two students each. Throwing his two in front of him, Diamond groans.

"Take these humans to the mirror and release more of our people..." Diamond commands while walking away to look around at the dorm.

Glancing at each other, Topaz and Amethyst bow before taking the humans downstairs to the basement two at a time. Looking concerned, Emerald walks over to Diamond who appears deep in thought.

"We didn't retreat earlier just to kidnap more students, did we?" Emerald queries while folding her arms.

"No. That, for lack of a better word, boy, holds a lot more within him than I thought at first. I thought I saw someone I haven't since the war in Camelot... You remember Ventus?" Diamond asks, glancing at Emerald.

Emerald turns to Diamond, frowning more as she looks confused.

"When we decimated Pegasus House, did we not hear he got himself blacklisted as a familiar back then for betraying Merlin?" Emerald asks, unfolding her arms.

"Either that changed or the boy has a blacklisted ancient familiar and is playing with power far beyond his understanding..." Diamond rubs his forehead, groaning harder.

"Let us hope he won't pose much of a problem, though that seems evident at this point." Emerald states as she looks around at the dorm wreckage.

Diamond shakes his head and sighs, walking over to a nearby pillar.

"We'll set up here, so we might protect the mirror during our invasion. Bismuth will just have to do what he can to repair and fortify the dorm." Diamond's attention is drawn by two coloured people walking up the basement stairs and over to them.

The first girl is short, around 5'0 with light green eyes and messy short dark green hair wearing the same black uniform. The other girl is taller with light blue eyes and matching hair, wearing the same uniform as her smaller comrade.

"Peridot and Aquamarine, ready for service." They both state as they kneel in front of Diamond.

"Excellent, would you kindly scout the docks, Wyvern House and Hydra House... Those two are my first targets of a long-awaited revenge." Diamond commands making them nod and quickly leave the dorm.

Taking a deep breath, Diamond holds out his hand for Emerald to take. Looking a little confused, she does so with a smile, letting him lead her down into the basement of the dorm and through the tunnel to see the mirror. In front of the mirror, Topaz and Amtheyst are moving the unconscious students who were used to revive six more gems. All six bow to the pair, the first is a girl that has long hair with a swirling mixed rainbow pattern, her eyes sharing the same. The second is a male the same average size as the first girl, having pitch black short hair and eyes.

"Opal and Onyx, if you could please keep watch in the woods nearby." Diamond commands making the duo nod before leaving the basement.

The third is a tall, skinny girl with pure white hair and eyes, standing beside her is an equally tall but not as skinny girl with dark blue hair and eyes.

"Pearl and Lapis, it would be beneficial if we could construct a gem forge in the basement storage area." Emerald commands beside Diamond, making him smile slightly.

They both nod before walking past them to get to work, shifting the crates, barrels and boxes somewhere else. Turning their attention to the remaining pair, the fifth revived gem has taken the form of a largely built, slightly tall man with a more vivid multi-coloured short hair and eyes, leaning against them with their arms closed was a short girl with bright orange hair and eyes.

"Bismuth and Garnet, I trust you require no instructions for your assignments?" Diamond asks, looking at the pair.

Bismuth smashes his knuckles together, chuckling heartily.

"Leave the fortifications and conversion of this new base to us, even this hovel shall be fit for a Gem Lord." Bismuth states proudly before leaving with Garnet.

Sighing lightly, Diamond turns his glance towards Topaz, who raises an eyebrow.

"I'll be taking a trip back with Emerald for a short time, can I trust you to hold the fort while I am absent?" Diamond asks, making Emerald look confused.

Topaz nods and bows slightly, "Of course, so long as your energy remains, you should have no problems coming back through without needing to drain more."

Diamond nods before passing through the mirror with Emerald, Topaz and Amythest sharing odd looks.

Stepping out of a rippling mirror situated on top of a hill, Diamond takes a deep breath, Emerald following not soon after.

"Beloved, if you'll excuse my curiousness, after waiting so long to get out of this world... Why do we return so soon after?" Emerald asks taking his side.

The world around them is bright and vibrant, the grass a lush dark aqua colour, the sky a lively mid-tone green. A large vast multi-colour empire lays before them below the hill, airships and planes made from various gem parts flying flawlessly through the sky.

"Because it's our home, my dear. Despite how long we have been trapped in this cursed mirror dimension, we conquered it and all that was once here. We built our vision, carved from the very essence we plucked from below its surface. This, all of this, is the empire we strived to create centuries ago in the waking world. The blueprint for the grand plan that we now have a second chance to build out there. Our empire, our dream. That is if you still want it." Diamond states drawing her attention to their seemingly decorative prison before holding her hands.

"Of course it is, my love... You know I've always supported and wanted to help you fulfil that dream. I'm content and satisfied to be by your side." Emerald holds Diamond's hands back, smiling gently.

Diamond sighs slightly as he stares at Emerald, smiling happily.

"You know I'm nought without my Emerald beside me. Out of all those trapped in here with me, you took the closest interest in my wellbeing, stayed the closest to your Diamond. Believe it or not, I've come to be content with this world... So long as I have you I do not care where I live, however, I strive to satisfy those under my rule and this means building the kingdom I promised them." Diamond takes Emerald's hands and begins dancing around the hilltop with her.

The pair dance around for several moments, Emerald's form shifting back into a regular girl with long dark green hair and matching eyes, her features a lot more beautiful than previously seen gems. Laying her head upon his chest, Emerald sighs gently.

"You've been so generous towards me, so kind and loving..." Emerald takes deep breathes while they dance.

"You're my perfectly cut and beyond beautiful Emerald, with a clarity unmatched by any other Emerald. We can go back at any time you'd like." Diamond states, the pair performing a very calm, beautiful waltz across the hilltop.

Emerald nods slightly, her head still upon DIamond's chest as she relaxes to enjoy every second of the moments they spend together.
