A British Army Royal Engineer named John Davies is met with a peculiar phenomenon whilst on tour. Unknown to him, he will find himself stranded in a strange new world which seems to be shifting around him.
Political turmoil looms over the new territory he finds himself in. Soon enough he is expected to once again serve, except under the allegiance of a new crown. Though some events may first appear straightforward, darker shadows will soon find themselves being cast over the strange new world.
Will he be able to easily accept the hand he has been dealt?
Can he adapt to this new world?
