Twilight, Whisper, Jibanyan, and Sgt. Burly were all training Yo-kai at the repaired training grounds. The four of them were holding clipboards and pencils and charted down all of the facts and figures of the regime. The four of them, apart from Sgt. Burly, were wearing black caps and whistles, and used them to alert the trainees.

During their session on the hill, Rarity, Pinkie, and the rest of their friends walked up to meet Twilight and her entourage of Yo-kai. They were all accompanied by Dazzabel as they approached Twilight, Whisper, Jibanyan, and Sgt. Burly.

"C'mon, everyone! Feel the burn!" Burly shouetd at the Yo-kai running the obstacle course. "Bring those knees up and run that course, you chunky chicken nuggets!"

"Hello, Twilight." Rarity gently tapped Twilight's shoulders.

"Whoa!" Twilight almost leapt into the air when Rarity's hoof touched her shoulders. "Oh. Hi, girls. Didn't see you there. Did you come to train your Yo-kai too?"

"Training? Is that what this was all about?" Applejack looked at the course and saw all of Twilight's Yo-kai friends running across the course. "I thought this was some oddly-shaped barn you were building."

"You call that training?" Rainbow turned her head and blew a light raspberry. She shot her wings out to the side and flew up to the sky, striking multiple clouds with a single kick, knocking them against each other. "This is training!" She shot into the air and drove down through the clouds in a spiral formation, drilling straight through them, causing them to vanish instantly. "See? Gone in a snap. And there's more to come." And with that, she darted off through the air towards the remaining clouds in the sky.

"Ooh! A special training area for Yo-kai only?" Pinkie Pie watched one half of Twilight's Yo-kai beginning another lap of the course while the other half ran onto mats and began to stretch their limbs. "Cool!"

"I agree. I am quite intrigued by this outlandish dojo of yours." Red Snow smiled and examined Twilight's hoof-made obstacle course. "I can only assume that this is to prepare Yo-kai for the upcoming battle with King Void. In which case, it would be wise if we could all use our Yo-kai on it."

"Don't mind me then." Dazzabel flew towards the course.

"Dazzabel, darling, wait!" Rarity reached out for her Yo-kai friend.

"Don't worry, Rarity. I need this if I'm ever going to become a better fashion artist." Dazzabel cupped the tip of her umbrella with her hand and slid it through her, cocking it like a shotgun. "You'll see what I mean soon."

"Come on, everyone! Let's kick it up a notch!" Twilight called to the group of Yo-kai. "Harder! Faster! Stronger!"

"Pump it up!" Whisper added. "The best way to make yourselves stronger is through hard training and lots of sweat!"

"Everyone! All together now!" Sgt. Burly threw his arms up high. "Feel. The. BURN!"

As the song filled the air, golden inspiriting flames were launched from Sgt. Burly's body straight onto all of the Yo-kai in the vicinity, including Whisper and Jibanyan. Slowly, but surely, they picked up the pace and found themselves training ever harder, and at a much more rapid pace. The sweat was practically flying off of their bodies as they became enveloped in their workout.

"Whoa. They're really going at it, aren't they?" Twilight watched the Yo-kai working harder and harder to improve. "Even Whisper and Jibanyan are training!"

"That's the power of Burly's Beat Camp, Twilight." Sgt. Burly put his hand on her shoulders. "Not only is it a workout, but it also helps a Yo-kai reach their true potential. Once they start, they don't want to stop until they become the best of the best." He looked back at the Yo-kai. "C'mon, Noway! Star jump higher! Be as strong as the Impass you want to become! DImmy! Negatibuzz! Strike that bag like it's your mortal enemy! Keep it up!"

"Well, it definitely beats the Ponyville Gym, that's for sure." Twilight nodded.

"Hold on. It's only getting started!" Burly grinned and stoked the flames that he had cast onto the Yo-kai.

"Whoa. Get a load of that!" Spike pointed at the Yo-kai as some of them started to glow a bright shade of white. "Twilight's Yo-kai! They're changing!"

"Changing? Whatever do you mean, Spike?" Rarity asked, examining her Dazzabel most of the time. Sure enough, she watched her Yo-kai get wrapped in white light as well, to the point where she had to shield her eyes. "Ooh! It's even brighter than some of my dresses!"

"Hey, Burly? Do you know what's going on with these glowing Yo-kai?" Twilight asked.

"Certain Yo-kai evolve after rigorous training and combat. Something a stark gamer would refer to as a level-up." Burly turned to face her. "After enough level-ups, Yo-kai glow and transform into bigger and more powerful versions. These Yo-kai have stronger inspiriting powers, have more power overall, and generally look like they've matured once they shed off their old selves."

"I see." Twilight watched the light slowly begin to fade. "So there's Yo-kai fusion and Yo-kai evolution?"

"Yep. Course, there's some that don't evolve, but they're still just as strong." He nodded. "Speaking of evolving, hey, Roughraff! Pound that sack!"

"You got it, Burly!" Roughraff gave the punching back a powerful string of attacks, followed up with a thrust kick that threw it to the ground. As soon as that transpired, he too began to glow.

"See? Training really does pay off when you're a Yo-kai." Burly looked back at her. "Soon, all of your weak and wimpy baby Yo-kai'll grow up big and strong, ready to give King Void a real butt-kicking." He blew Twilight's whistle a took a few steps forward. "Alright, everyone! Your workout's almost done. Just follow my moves and that's all for the day!"

"Alright, everyone. That's all for today." Sgt. Burly nodded and patted the backs of all of the Yo-kai that had taken part in the exercise. "Look at all of you. Big and strong, just like I had planned. I know you'll all do Twilight Sparkle proud." He vanished in purple smoke, taking his flames with him.

"Get a load of all of these new Yo-kai." Jibanyan scurried around them all. "There's Impass, Moskevil, Badude, N'more, Rattelle, Kelpacabana, and many more!"

"Sup, Twilight?" Cutta-nah's blade had gotten longer, but it was now split into five blades with curls instead of points. "You really did me a solid with Burly there. Now, I'm a Cutta-nah-nah. Extra strong laziness inspirits and all."

"Cutta-nah-nah?" Twilight opened the book and looked at the medals that she had gathered. With a bright flash, some of the medals transformed into medals of the newly-evolved Yo-kai. "When did I get your medal?"

"It's simple, Twilight." Whisper hovered beside her. "When Yo-kai evolve or fuse, it's quite common that they give you their medals straight away. Or, if you were already friends with that Yo-kai when it evolved, then the medal changes as well."

Suddenly, Whisper's Yo-kai Pad was snatched away by a lasso, carried by a purple bird that bore a great resemblance to Peckpocket, but was bigger, had longer feathers on its' head, and had a sack underneath its' arm.

"Name's Robbinyu." He spoke in a gruff voice as he took the Yo-kai Pad. "Unlike Peckpocket, I can steal stuff without the help of a human. Just one swing of this lasso, and it's mine, all mine!"

"Robbinyu?" Pinkie tilted her head at the name. Then, she realised what it was about and smiled. "Oh! It's a portmanteau of robin and you! I've said it before and I'll say it again. That's clever!"

"Oh my..."Rarity looked at what Dazzabel had transformed into. "You look incredible!"

Dazzabel had grown much more, to the point where she now had a full skull with a bottom jaw, a poofy-blonde haircut, and glowing green eyes. Her umbrella was now opened, and was shading her from the heat of the afternoon sun.

"Hello, Rarity." She flew over to her. "As you can see, I've changed much for the better. I'm not ditzy little Dazzabel anymore." She gave a twirl. "From now on, my name is Ratelle. Far more sophisticated, more experienced in the world of style, and ready to serve however I can."

"At long last, I no longer have to be a Noway." He said, with an entire roof with two golden points on it. "I am Impass at long last!"

"How many Yo-kai evolved from that one workout?" Twilight looked at all of her new Yo-kai friends with big, bulging eyes.

"Like Burly said, exercise does pay off for Yo-kai." Whisper floated down to her side and nodded, glancing at all of the new Yo-kai Medals that replaced the old ones. "Now I think we're one step closer to putting down that heinous King Void once and for all."

"Totally. Badude's got your back, Twi." Roughraff was now a much taller and wore a black and yellow vest. He was carrying a nail-covered bat and gently smashed it against his hand menacingly.

"Whoa! Twilight! Are you okay?" Rainbow Dash landed back next to Twilight. "I saw some lights shining over where you were training your Yo-kai. Did I miss any—" she looked over at the Yo-kai "—thing?"

"You've only just missed out on the best training session ever!" Whisper threw his arms up and flexed his muscles, causing them to grow heavily. He also grew a massive eight-pack and bounced each separate muscle without any effort. "Thanks to Sgt. Burly, I'm ripped!"

"What's even better is that we've now gotten a major upgrade." Twilight nodded and walked around all of her Yo-kai. "With the fact that they've evolved into these secondary forms, their Yo-kai powers should have increased significantly as well, to the point where it puts the old versions to shame."

"Yeah!" Jibanyan jumped onto Twilight's back. "You've done great, Twilight. I couldn't be prouder to have you as my master!"

"Technically, Jibanyan, you and all of your friends did great. I just sat on the sidelines and watched you all working out like crazy." Twilight chuckled and levitated Jibanyan onto the ground. "But thank you for the praise anyway."

"Nyo problem." He nodded.

"Now all that's left to do is wait until King Void makes his next attack." Twilight looked up at the sky, feeling the wind blowing through her mane and tail as she took a deep breath. "Kin, Gin, another Dark One. He's going to unleash one of them soon. But I don't really know when..."

Nurarihyon, Inumaro, and Nekokiyo were fighting off hundreds of Dark Yo-kai on an open plain, with a purple and green sky hanging overhead. Inumaro and Nekokiyo themselves had also transformed, to the point where they had become buff monsters with sharp claws, ripping and tearing through their enemies.

"Begone!" Nurarihyon spread his tentacles out in all directions, impaling Dark Yo-kai with every strike, causing them to disappear from the face of the world. Smashing them down on the ground again, he sent shockwaves that destroyed even more of them, only for reinforcements to reappear instantaneously.

"Know your place, vile fiends!" Inumaro thrust his hand out and shot fire at his targets, turning them into ashes that soon dissipated afterwards.

"No-one lays a finger on the Yo-kai World except the denizens that live in it!" Nekokiyo stomped the ground, causing massive stone spikes to strike down more Dark Yo-kai. "Under Lord Nurarihyon's word, I will destroy all of you Dark Yo-kai!"

"Witness the end!" Nurarihyon took in Soultimate Energy and became fully charged within seconds. With his eyes glowing red, he leapt into the sky and pointed his tentacles at every Dark Yo-kai that he could find. Black orbs appeared on the tips that he then shot out towards the ground, directly into the path of the Dark Yo-kai. "ETERNAL HELL!"

With an endless chain of explosions, all of the Dark Yo-kai were decimated and reduced to pieces as Nurarihyon landed back alongside Inumaro and Nekokiyo. His breathing became exceptionally heavy as he scanned around for more Dark Yo-kai, only to find absolutely nothing else.

"Is it over?" Nekokiyo asked, slobbering drool as he turned towards Inumaro and Nurarihyon.

"As much as I'd like to believe that, it's not." Inumaro shook his head and cracked his knuckles. "I sense a darkness nearby. One much more powerful than the Dark Yo-kai that Lord Nurarihyon destroyed."

"Well, well, well. Aren't you a perceptive little cat?"

"And to think, you serve a creature who would fit better with King Void rather than Queen Ephemer. Where is your honour, Inumaro?"

"I demand that you show yourselves!" Nurarihyon roared to the air, trying to find who was talking to him.

"So strong, yet so misplaced at the same time. It sickens me." Kin appeared before the group with Gin by her side.

"It wonders me how Queen Ephemer spared your lives after the atrocities you committed to the Yo-kai World." Gin examined Nurarihyon and his cohorts. "Ever the fool, Nurarihyon. And forever a being of the darkness!"

"My lord! These are—"

"Yes." Nurarihyon put his hand over Inumaro's mouth. "The infamous Time Witches. The former servants of Dame Dedtime and the Wicked Yo-kai." He lowered his brows and glared at the two of them. "Kin and Gin..."

Now before I leave you, I want to ask you an important question.

Have I written Nurarihyon, Inumaro, and Nekokiyo's powers correctly? Seeing as how the second Yo-kai Watch Movie is still in Japanese, I'm not really sure how exactly their powers work. If you think I've done him wrong, then be sure to let me know and I'll amend that as soon as possible.
