Take Back the Night
As Blaze ran towards the light (Literally) he saw that it was one of the generated structures in the game, a village. And it wouldn’t be complete without villagers, villagers that were running, in fear, and had the same voice.
“*Sigh* oh boy,” Blaze sighed as he saw most of them escape into houses whist some ran from the mobs that chased them and that Jockey leading them “So that’s where you went, alright then,”
“Oh, and before I continue a Jockey is a skeleton that has mounted a spider giving it much better mobility, and with a mod installed they can essentiality lead other mobs,”
Blaze brought out his sword as he charged at a zombie as it cornered a villager named ‘Villager #5’ Blaze then pierced its chest as he tackled it to the ground before finishing it off.
“Hey you alright?” Blaze asked as he looked around for any trouble
“Yes, thank you horsey!” The villager said in an odd voice as it ran off with its hands still in its sleeves
“I’m not a horse,” Blaze mumbled as he kicked a creeper away from behind him as it exploded
Blaze then charged towards the Jockey as he slashed away at mobs and kicked some into fires as they burned.
*BAM*
Blaze was then knocked off his feet by a zombie as a spider followed up and pinned him between his sword as Blaze saw a creeper slowly approaching him as he fought to get the arachnid off him as he saw his health bar.
Health: 10 hearts
“Damnit I can’t survive that creeper blast like this!” Blaze cursed in his head as he kept struggling to shake the spider off
His eyes then widened as he saw a skeleton trying to shoot him as he got an idea. Blaze then used all his strength to shove the spider to his left as an arrow pierced its abdomen making it screech in pain as it changed target and leaped towards the skeleton.
Blaze only had a few seconds to roll away as the creeper exploded beside him. He then quickly ate the last of his apples as he saw his health return in no time as he ran towards the Jockey as its hollow eyes narrowed.
He stopped and held him blade in his right hoof-hand.
“End of the line bone-boy,” Blaze said with a grin as it shot an arrow that Blaze blocked as he saw it climb the tower to its right as Blaze ran for the entrance.
He soon found the ladder and began to climb the cobble tower as he soon reached the top and saw the jockey waiting of a spire. The area on the tower was bigger than the actual game which made it easier for a brawl.
The Skeleton then switch out its bow for an iron sword which shouldn’t be possible as waited for Blaze to make his move, to which he gladly accepted.
Blaze ran for the skeleton as it waited to block but didn’t anticipate Blaze sliding as he cut all eight of the spider’s legs as it hissed in pain but Blaze soon silenced it as the Skeleton jumped off as Blaze stuck his blade into its back as it died off in a puff of code.
*SLASH*
Blaze fell back as the skeleton stuck his side with its blade as it approached him and kicked him a few times in the chest as he chocked for air. The Skeleton then thrusted its blade towards his head but Blaze blocked it with his metal leg as he turned and kicked the skeleton back as he ran forwards and connected blades with the Undead.
Blaze narrowly rolled away as the Skeleton's blade smashed into one of the cobble spires as he dragged it through the rock towards Blaze as he blocked the attack quickly as he smelled the burning iron fill he nose.
Blaze then smiled slightly as the skeleton twisted its head in confusion.
“Looks like your intelligence doesn’t go too far,” Blaze mocked as he pointed to his left with a free hoof
The skeleton looked and soon felt Blaze’s blade slash at his skull as it stumbled back and looked at the rising sun and then the descending moon. The night was over.
*SMASH*
The skeleton’s skull so felt Blaze’s sword smash a side of its skull off as Blaze’s blade broke into pieces as the bag of bones fell back and over the edge of the tower as it burst into code before hitting the ground, leaving its sword.
Blaze smiled as he looked at the rising sun in glee before walking back towards the ladder and descending to the bottom.
As Blaze exited the tower he was greeted by 4 villagers. 1 in full white, 1 in all purple, 1 in with a black apron and the last in all brown.
Brown: Villager #14
White cloak: Villager #5
Black apron: Villager #12
Purple cloak: Villager #1
“See, this was the nice horsey that I told you about!” Villager #5 said as Blaze frowned
“I am not a horse, I’m a pony, big difference,” Blaze said in annoyance as Villager #12 spoke in the same voice
“Well thank you for saving our village from the scary monsters, I don’t want to lose my emeralds,” He said in a slightly sad voice at the end as #5 kept petting Blaze as he groaned in frustration
“Well still why did they attack, its only zombies that attack not all mobs?” I asked as I pondered on it before #1 spoke up in a more elderly voice
“Yes ever since yesterday all the mobs have acted different, and if you didn’t show up we may have all been killed,” He said as he bowed
“But what of you pony, I don’t remember seeing any mobs like you in the game before?” He asked in curiosity as the other 3 moved on before #12 spoke
“Oh little pony take this, it wasn’t made of Emeralds so I don’t want it,” #12 said as he handed Blaze the skeleton’s blade.
Rattlebone’s Sword
Enchantment: Sharpness 1
“Cool thanks, and if I find any emeralds I’ll pay you,” Blaze said happily as he waved goodbye as Blaze put his new blade away as he turned to face the Elder
“Well first how do you know you’re in a game and not the others?” Blaze asked quickly as he sat down on a wooden step
“I don’t know, it all started since yesterday and since I’ve never seen something like you before I assumed you might know,” he explained as he coughed slightly
“Well to say this wasn’t my fault would be a lie,” Blaze said frowning slightly as he began to tell the ‘Elder’ as he called him about Equestria and how Elder’s world came to be
“And so there you have it, I’m the one who caused this mess even before that ‘thing’ was involved,” Blaze finished as his eyes looked towards the ground as he felt the Elder pat him on the head as he smiled
“No, it’s not your fault you were sure about your plans and ideals the monster it behind this so you have nothing to be a fault with,” He concluded with a nod as Blaze cheered up a bit
“Thanks Elder, but due to the attacks would it be alright if I set up camp here?” Blaze asked as he nodded "Good because I have plans to make this place a little more of a landmark,"
Blaze then grinned like a mad man as his brain conjured up so many ideas that would put even KAI to shame.
“I do believe after the night before we should have a lot of free space,” Elder laughed slightly as Blaze followed suit
“Well then I better get to work, a lot of ideas be buzzing and I have little time to work with!” Blaze said as he grinned in anticipation before the Elder booped him on the nose making him lose his train of thought
“Sorry but I really had to do that!” He laughed as Blaze gave him a deadpan expression “What, I’m old, I think I have the excuse to pull a joke here and there,”
“yea, yea just don’t pet me on the head, I feel like a pet when someone does that,” Blaze responded as he swung his axe around in his hand “Now then let’s get to building!”
On the other side of the village, facing Blaze and the Elder was a forest that hid some surviving mobs that slipped into the shadows and another being who’s eyes glowed bright.
