Amnesia: Twilight Sparkle
Chapter 4

Twilight walked down the hallway that led to a dining room, a long table with some chairs surrounding it, and it looks like they were eating when all this happen. The food was still on the table and on the plates, wine was still in theirs glasses and some chairs had fallen over as if they left in a hurry.
“No wonder they left in panic” Twilight said to herself as she was walking beside the table and saw the red organic mucus everywhere on the walls and the floor.
A white light filled Twilight’s mind, a new flashback was on its way.
“Laughs and cutlery clanging could be heard. Somepony clanged his glass to get everyponys attention. It is good to see all of my dearest friends and theirs family here tonight, this dinner is held because of my, I mean ours biggest discovery ever. Unfortunately Twilight Sparkle my dearest student could not join this dinner with us. If you excuse me I need to use the rest room, but please don’t mind me, enjoy your dinner and enjoy probably the last day in your lives.” Flakk left the dining hall and locked the door behind him. The guests just sat there quiet and wondered what he meant with those words, but one slightly drunk pony broke the silent with a song, and just seconds’ later everypony burst into song, and they didn’t notice the red organic mucus gathering on the walls.” The white light filled Twilight’s mind again.
“Yes that dinner I remember accepting no on it because I didn’t feel good that night. But all those people did they die or what?”
Twilight heard a strange squeak noise from a closed door. She walked over to it and it was looked.
“Damn! Is every door in this castle locked or what?” Twilight shouted, and just seconds after, something hit the locked door with a demanding force, making a small hole in the door so Twilight could see what was behind the door.
A mare was behind the door, she had a big metal ring around her neck with spikes cutting in to her throat, and chains hung down from her front hooves, her coat had a slightly yellowish color and her mane was a bit pink. Something was wrong with her eyes though, her eyelids were sewn together. She was blind in other words. Twilight knew she had an advantage. If she moved quietly enough she could get past this monster without it even noticing her. When it finally had knocked down the door and entered the dining room it let out another squeak. Twilight on the other hand had seen enough strange and fearful things so she just stood still were she was, not moving a muscle following the monster with her eyes, but that was a stupid thing to do. Her mind started to make cracking noises and her vision became a bit strange, like it was zooming in and out on its own, all these things happening to Twilight’s mind almost communicated with the monster. It turned around and faced Twilight letting out a sigh mixed with a squeak. Twilight quickly looked away and stared to walk in the other direction, with very unstable steps almost falling to the floor. She needed to stop to get her brain back in focus. She had forgotten all about the monster behind her. When she stopped she heard another squeak behind her and before she could react she had a deep claw wound on her back. The pain from the wound made Twilight’s brain realize the situation, and quickly tried to get in focus. In the meantime Twilight let out a scream of pain and almost fell to the floor but she managed to slightly run away. Twilight ran in the doorway the monster came from and found a door on the left. She opened it and it was only a small room, in this room was a wardrobe, Twilight opened the wardrobe doors, and a body of a mare fell out Twilight held back a scream from the sight. The body didn’t fell to the floor though; it was chained to the back of the wardrobe. She heard a shuffling noise from the hallway outside the door. She didn’t have time to think about what to do; she pushed the body back in the wardrobe and joined it. She heard the monster approaching the door, struck it down and started to search for it’s pray. Twilight held back a sob as the wound pounded in her back she felt blood sliding down her back and dripping on the wardrobe floor, forming a puddle of blood, Twilight knew that if she didn’t do something now she could bleed to death. The monster let out a sad squeak and left the room. Twilight recognized the squeak this time, it reminded her of Fluttershy. With easy moves she opened the door to the wardrobe making sure the monster had left and exited the small room and continued down the corridor.
“That squeak and yellowish coat, I… I know it from somewhere, can it be Fluttershy? No! It can’t be!” Twilight said to herself.
As Twilight continued down the corridor she came to a door. The sign next to the door said.
“Small Operating room”
Twilight slightly pushed the door and it was open. She entered the room and saw an operating table and some papers.
The White light filled Twilight’s mind once again
“Twilight… You… You can’t do this” A mare said.
“If you just stay still, everything will be just fine” Said Twilight with a smile on her face.
“But… but, No…”Squeaked the mare.
“Paint the flesh, cut the lines. Paint the flesh, cut the lines!” Twilight said repeatedly still with a smile on her face.
Twilight put her scalpel to the mare’s hips and cut out the cutie mark which was three butterflies.
Fluttershy let out a scream of pain and sadness.
“Twilight why are you doing this, what have happen to you” Said Fluttershy holding back a sob “Ever since you’ve got that artifact from that cave you have been acting strange. Please just let me leave!”
“I can’t do that I’m not the one in charge. Flakk told me I needed to make sacrifices to stop the shadow. And you know I’ll do everything to save Equestria.” Twilight said as her smile slowly faded.
Twilight continued to cut in Fluttershy and putting metal things on her and stitched her eyelids together and injected her with some sort of liquid to make her sleep for a long time.
The white light filled Twilight’s mind again
When she realized what she had seen in the flashback and what she had done to Fluttershy, she burst out into full tears and sank to the floor. Crying about the horrible things she had done to Fluttershy she started to think if she had done that on all of her friends.
Twilight stood up wiped some tears from her cheeks and started to search around for something useful. After she had moving around stuff opening boxes and other things she found two bottles of laudanum and some bandages and a note. Twilight drank one of the Laudanum bottles and patched herself up. After she had rested a few minutes on the chair that was in the room she stared to read the note.
“I have completed one of four sacrifices now and Flakk says he is happy with me. He says that the shadow will completely leave when I am done with everyone of them. The strange thing is. I don’t feel anything, I’m not sad or mad about killing my friend I did it for a reason, If I have to kill all my friends to save Equestria I will, and I will do it with honor!
Twilight Sparkle”
When Twilight had read the note she started to cry again.
“How… How could I do such a thing and to Fluttershy of all ponies? What had she done to deserve this?” Twilight said to herself between her sobs.
Twilight couldn’t stay in that room much longer, she had to get out and continue her search for the wine cellar.
“I wonder what horrible things I have done to my other friends.” She said as she walked out from the room and down the corridor. When she reached the end of the corridor there was a big heavy door. Twilight got surprised when it was open. She pushed the door open trying not to put too much pressure on her back. When the door was open enough for Twilight to squeeze through, she found herself in a very big room with a quite large fountain in the middle. She saw something shining in the water of the fountain and she walked to take a closer look. As she got closer to the fountain her head started to make cracking noises and her vision became just like what it did when she looked on what remained of Fluttershy for too long. The water in the fountain became thick blood and she heard a very high pitched note. She looked back. And from the door she had just exited came the monster with the big sword arm and the repulsive head, Twilight backed off but she didn’t get far before she fainted.
