-Everfree Forest-

The Tyrannosaurus Rex was surrounded, no doubt about it. Ponies had him trapped against a cliff face and were jabbing all-too-familiar taser guns into his legs and chest. The Indominus Rex had dealt quite a number on the tyrant saurian. A long gash ran along his back vertabrae and down his right leg. More red was visible on the tyrannosaur's neck than his normally brown scales. His ankle and several ribs, were broken from a tumble down a steep hill as well.

In a fit of anger, the massive dinosaur lunged forward, snapping up a pony in his jaws before throwing it into a different taser-wielding police.

"Fire the tranqs! Do it NOW!" Colonel Obsidia ordered, pulling her own tranquilizer pistol from a holster and carefully aiming at the creature's neck. The light weight gun unnoticeably bucked in her hoof before firing a red feathered dart. The drug filled piece of ammunition whizzed toward the Tyrannosaurus Rex before breaking the skin on it's thick neck. With a furious roar, the saurian shook his head and thundered passed the ponies, his vision blurring and his muscles weakening.

"Toucan, I want you to stay on it's trail and let us know where it falls." the military pegasus ordered the gryphon flying above.

"Roger." the former pterosaur replied, banking to his left and following the giant, slowly gaining on the predator.

Suddenly, out of the blue, the Indominus Rex rushed toward the Tyrannosaurus, her head low as she slammed into his thigh with 12 thousand tons of force, throwing the dinosaur down. The Tyrant Lizard King tried to lift to his feet, but the sleep dart's affect on his brain prevented him from doing so. Slowly, his eyelids dropped and he reverted to the form of a massive unicorn stallion.

Dawn slowly shrank until she as well was a unicorn again. She gazed down at the snoozing, wounded pony and rolled her eyes before dragging the former T Rex by his tail, oblivious to the pain that it might cause him in the process.

Dawn was soon met up with Colonel Obsidia... Hopping out of a Jeep, the pegasus aided the albino unicorn in pulling the stallion along... That was the easy part... The hard part was getting the stallion into the bed of a truck.

The colonel beat her wings as hard as she could, even harder than while chasing down the giant mutated lizard, Zilla during Operation: Final Wars. Unfortunately, no amount of her muscle could make the stallion lift into the air even by an inch. "Here, let me try." Toucan said to her, grabbing the unicorn and beating his wings. With little effort, he had the former dinosaur into the back of the truck.

"You cheated." Colonel Obsidia said, jokingly pointing a hoof at the gryphon with a playful glare.

"Nah... It's just these muscles right here that did the work." he replied with a smirk, lifting his wings and flexing them.

"Suuuuure..." the uniformed pegasus replied, climbing into a jeep. "Now hop in." she told Toucan with a smile. The gryphon chuckled and stumbled into the passengers seat.

-Road to Canterlot-

"So you came from Terra, eh?" Colonel Obsidia said over the sound of the Jeep's tires against the dirt road, lifting an eyebrow. "What's it like? I heard that there's a lot of pollution... I can't even begin to imagine what THAT'S like." she continued with a scoff.

"Yeah, well... It's not pleasant being stuck in a cage with no flying space. I love flying... It's so... so relaxing to just go soaring above the clouds." Toucan acknowledged, a soft smile on his lips at the thought.

"And your friends? What's their deal? I heard your leader actually tried to attack Princess Celestia and KILLED King Sombra. He must be nice to have around..."

"He can be thick headed sometimes... And reckless... And a jerk... And-"

"Okay, I get the gist." Colonel Obsidia interrupted with wide eyes.

-Canterlot Royal Pond-

The aqua blue siren weaved her way between the stems of lily pads, air bubbles flowing freely from her mouth. It had been a couple days since she was able to get her fur wet, and this swept her up in a refreshing coolness. As water flowed over her sleek shape, groups of Neighponese Koi darted out of the siren's path.

Swimming to the surface of the pond, Mosey took a deep breath of air before submerging once again, her tail momentarily breaking the water's surface.

As she dove, she noticed an electric blue tall fin adjusting itself at the pond's bottom, stirring up mud to conceal itself. Curiosity drove the siren mare to inspect the spot. Using her tail to sweep away the cloud of mud, she saw a strong aquatic pony lacking hind legs... It was another siren. The siren stallion swam from his hiding spot to meet Mosey eye-to-eye, a confused expression morphing across his muzzle and eyebrows. Waving a hoof to say hello, the siren stallion pushed himself to the water's surface, his tail sweeping back and forth to propel himself upward. Mosey followed, wanting to get a good look at him.

As she breached the waters surface, Mosey scanned her surroundings for the siren, lifting an eyebrow when she saw him basking himself in the midday sun.

"Uh... Hi?" she said to him questionably, approaching the siren.

"Mm, hello." he replied, lifting his head and looking the siren up and down. She was unlike any other siren that he had seen. The siren mare was tall, to start. And whereas most had extended vertabrae that made up the dorsal spines, she had a short fin similar to a shark's. Her elbows also lacked the similar fin shape. Even stranger, her tail fin was more like a fish's, rather than the structure of a siren's dorsal fin. If anything, she was not a normal siren. "Th' name's Thunderstorm." he said at last, holding out a hoof.

"Mosey." the former Mosasaurus replied, shaking Thunderstorm's hoof.
