Shard groggily opened his eyes, his head feeling light and a weird taste in his mouth. Slowly he sat up and found he was in the school library, in the exact spot he had brought Ditzy to when she had fallen asleep a few days prior. When he became fully concious, he got to his feet and looked around, finding Ditzy, Rayleigh and Aniese sitting at the side talking to each other, concerned looks on all of their faces/robotic eyes. "Ugh...hey, what happened?" He asked as he trudged over to them.

Rayleigh floated up and examined his master. "Someone had spiked your drink sir with something containing a high alcohol level, you passed out and we brought you here."

Shard raised a brow and held his head. "Wait...how'd I come down so fast then?"

"Your cousin, Miss Sapphire, stopped by with one of your family's herbal remedies, specifically hers." The robot explained as he held up an empty class that had a slight blue patch at the bottom.

"So, she finally found her herbs huh? Well, at least she cared enough to help me." Shard smiled softly, while his cousin may be cold at times, she, like all of their family excluding Grandfather Shard, would do anything to help a relative. He was about to apologise for causing Ditzy trouble when he suddenly felt a large pain in his head. "Agh! Damn...guess the headache is still gonna be there..."

When he had felt the surge of pain, Ditzy saw his hair flicker for a split second, causing her to gasp and jump back with a look of fear in her eyes. The three others noticed this, and the two robots backed up, giving their masters some room.

Shard was confused at first, with confusion immediately turning into deep concern as he slowly approached the girl. "Ditzy? What's wrong?"

As he approached, Ditzy saw the gentleness and care in his eyes, which reassured her at first, but then the image of him in her nightmares flashed in her mind causing her to panic and making her heart race. Shard immediately recognised the fear in her eyes, which were locked on him, so he reluctantly pulled back and gave her some room, making sure to keep a safe distance.

"Ditzy, calm down and talk to me, what's got you acting like this?" He asked softly as he sat down.

Aniese rushed over to her master to make sure she was ok, resulting in Ditzy immediately hugging the tiny robot to bring herself into a sense of security. Shard could only watch with a broken heart, seeing his girlfriend in such a state yet unable to do anything, as it seemed she was afraid of him for some reason.

"Ditzy...please...tell me what's wrong?" He asked with desperation in his voice, he was confused and didn't know what to do or even know how to make her feel better, which made him feel slightly guilty.

Ditzy managed to calm down slightly, but avoided looking at him. "I...I..." She began shakily. "I'm sorry." She spoke quickly before running off.

"Ditzy wait!" Shard called out as he began to chase after her, but his path was blocked by Rayleigh.

"Master Shard stop at once!" The robot demanded as he extended his limbs to prevent him from proceeding.

"Rayleigh what the hell are you doing?" Shard demanded back, glaring at the robot.

"You need to give Miss Doo her space, she doesn't know how to feel right now, please just let her sort through her feelings." Rayleigh pleaded.

"But..." Rayleigh placed his claw up to Shards mouth to silence him.

"No buts...trust me, it's best to keep your distance for awhile..." Rayleigh spoke in a saddened tone, which suprised Shard as he had never heard that level of negative emotion in the robots voice before.

"Ray what is going on?"

Rayleigh sighed and lowered his limbs, receiving a message from Aniese that Ditzy had left the building with one of her friends perusing her. Knowing that Shard could not catch up to her at that moment, he floated to his masters side and remained silent. "It's not my place to say, when she is ready, Miss Doo shall tell you herself. I'm sorry."

Shard just slumped back against a bookcase and slid down to the floor, a sting in his heart and confusion filling his thoughts, trying to piece everything together. Why was she a fried of him? Why couldn't he do anything to help her? These thoughts raced around in his mind. Suddenly, he got a text from someone. Pulling his phone out, he saw it was a text from Mise.

Mise: Change of plans, we need to move out tonight, can you make it to the local airfield in the next three hours?

Seeing it as a way to get his mind off of the current situation, he responded.

You: I can, I'll be there as soon as I can

He waited for a reply, but it never came. So, he got to his feet and began walking out of the building, Time Turner having watched both he and Ditzy leave with Lyra at his side. "What's going on?" Lyra asked in a hushed tone.

"I don't know, Bonbon is away with Ditzy right now, let's get Carrot and go after them, it seems as if there's something Shard needs to do, so we'll leave him be." Turner answered as they turned towards the ongoing party.

"Do you think Shard did something to hurt Ditzy? If he did I'm breaking his spine." Lyra spoke with a growl as she cracked her knuckles.

"He'd have you pinned before you even got close."

"Kinky."

Turner groaned before taking in a breath. "No, I doubt he would have done something like that, something else is going on here. Let's go." With that, they entered gym and began looking for Carrot Top while Shard ran off towards his home to get out of his cosplay and to retrieve his weapons.

Meanwhile in the main city, a helicopter landed on the top of a hotel, with a young woman in a light red Japanese dress stepping off with a large man dressed in a dark brown suit. "So, this is the city Shādo Arashi lives in?" The young woman asked.

"Yes sweetie. Now, come along, we have much to prepare." The large man spike as he strolled over to the nearby stairwell.

The young woman looked out at the city abd smiled. "Soon we shall be together at last, Shādo." She spoke in a hushed tone before following her father.
