"Just fill it up..."

"Sure chica..."

Aria Blaze, the "thug" of the Sirens. The "purple grump", the "tomboy" the "bad ass"...was a few shots away from a drunken mess. Fingers laced her now greasy and stress ridden hair, glazed eyes dug at the sights of the shady south side bar. Aria was..well, smashed. And she knew it. And for what it was worth, it felt amazing. Yanking the well worn glass from the bar, the MMA fighting bitch chugged at the hard alcohol poured for her from the hefty bartender.

"Been a few hours, want something to cut it with at least girl?"

Aria glared over the rim of her glass at the near seven foot of man before her. Gorrz Fang, or Big G if you knew him well enough. Which the regular that she was to the watering hole, Aria could call him that. He was gentle despite being as wide as a door frame, built like a over weight wrestler and with pig tails to match her own, she liked him. Probably why the fighter constantly attended his establishment "The Den" . Tonight wasn't any different then any other night, save she was hitting it extra hard. The words of the oddly wise farmer still pouring over her every action, Aria slammed her glass down and starred up at the black slashed with blonde haired tender, she gave a drunken gaze to his well established black and grey tattoos, partially in envy, the "animal" claw marks fitting his roguish atmosphere.

"Just keep filling it Big G...got a lot to get rid of tonight..."

With a low throated snort, the bear of a man did as he was told. His ink coverd arm extending with the "house select" bottle of vodka, filling its wanting mistress pint.

"Last one dog..."

"Psh, fuck dat, you gonna fill it till I pass out..."

"Ahem, no, your fat ass is heavy, I aint gonna lug you back to my couch, again!"

Sneering at the personal, and friendly jest, Aria snapped up her drink and promptly presented her middle finger to her old friend.

"HA! You love it, face it big boy, you want dis ass!"

"You are so drunk..."

"What you gonna do about it?"

Slamming down her promptly drained glass, the tomboy leaned forward, her booze soaked breath washing over the huge human male, a stray purple finger dancing over his wife beater clad belly and pecs.

"You don't want any..company..tonight?"

Snickering, Gorrz caught his best customers hand in his own paw like grip. Leaning over, the oddly pig tailed male grinned, his face but inchs from Aria's.

"Girl, any other night. You got a date...but not tonight, besides, I aint even bought you dinner yet."

A dull blink, a jerking jaw, and then a howling laughter all burst from the fighter as she leaned back and slapped the bar with intent.

"Yo..y..you kill me dog, I swear...any human, It would so be you! bahahahaha!"

"Aria?"

Her mirth ended in an instant as the husky voice of her Sisters wife filtered past the almost gallon of booze washing her mind. With a snorted breath, Aria glanced over her scar clad shoulder to spy the helmet tucked under one arm biker.

"Damn big G, I am getting predictable."

"If you mean getting wasted in my pub..ahem, duh? Drink girl?"

"No thank you, I am here for her."

"Tsk, good luck."

With that the bear like male wandered off. Aria jerked her hand towards him, the drunken gesture clear at her intention towards the human. Swallowing her pride, she lowered her arm and turned to glare fully at Sunset.

"What..."

"Aria, your Sisters are worried. The girls are, I am! What Aj told us..."

"Fuck that damn giant! She tell you she basically told me to fuck off from my own family, MY SISTERS!"

Taken a seat next to the grumbling drunk, Sunset set her helmet on the bar and took a calm posture.

"Aria, she didn't mean anything..."

"Fuck she didn't! That damn truth spewing cow has had it in for me since day 0! Look, I get it, I got some problems, but I would NEVER let them affect Rayray! You have to believe that!"

"I do! So does Adagio! Damnit...damn..it..this shouldn't even be happening! Aria, come home with me."

"Psh..."

Turning back to her glass, the purple fighter took a long pull from it.

"I don't have a home..."

"Bullshit!"

Blinking at the rare vulgar term out of the fat hipped boxer, Aria stared at Sunset in shock.

"You have a home with us!"

"What...being the drunk cunt in your basement?"

"YES!"

"..wha..?"

Taken her sister in laws hands into her own well worn grip, Sunset leaned in, using her bulk to draw them together.

"You are Aria Blaze, Sister to me, to my wife Adagio and Sonata! You-are-family! I would wish you no place else but in that very basement! I can rest my eyes every night knowing how safe Sunray is with you at home! You watch her like a guard dog, you are at every door knock, every odd sound in the middle of the night..and I am pretty sure you made that delivery guy from UPS shit himself the other day when you surprised him from behind. But more then all of that, we, I, need you around!...I can not imagine a day in our Daughters life without her Auntie Aria there...why are you doing this? Is it really because of what Applejack said?"

Turning away, the scar clad fighter grunted and toyed with her glass.

"The bitch was right. I am...a waste."

"Stop it!"

"No! No Sunset...I am. I am a, sigh...no matter how strong I push myself to become, I am just a weakness."

Swallowing the last of her drink, she cast a drunken gaze to the worried look of the huge human she had come to call a friend. While out of ear shot, the bartender, Gorrz, kept her in sight, always.

"Do you see how he looks at me. I could have him you know. I could make a life with him. A family...of my own. But..."

"But what? He seems nice, and is clearly in your thoughts?"

"I wouldn't do that to him, he deserves better. You, Adagio, Sonata, the girls. You all deserve better."

"Aria.."

Reaching out for the upset fighter, Sunset wasn't shocked to feel her touch pulled away from.

"Don't, just..don't. I spent thousands of years guarding my Sisters. Taken the blows, howling the war cry, guarding, loving, protecting...All I can be is a shield. Not a wife, a mate...a mother. And I can not be an Aunt either. Back...back at the hospital, when I was a stupid bitch and forced to leave, I swore my niece would never have to know that side of me. Now though...it is all I am, all I can be."

Casting a gaze, and locking eyes with Gorrz, she waved him off when he made to come over and refill her drink, instead, her sad eyes just lingered in his oddly purple ones, before pulling away and returning to her Sister in law.

"Come home Aria, come to your home, our home, our FAMILY. Please, for me, for Adagio...for Rayray. She loves you so much, the joy in her squeal when you are around..."

Taken a low breath through her nose, the fighter, the brawler, the drunk, the smoker, the biker, the depressed bitch gave a weak smile and a nod.

"Lets...go home..."
