Chapter 14: A bad day

"Dagi don't get mad! It isn't anybody's fault, you know how Ari can get!"
"Listen ya'll, I said what needed to be said. I am sure she is curled up in a bottle somewhere and will be just fine."
Adagio felt pure hatred pour from her as she glared up at the giantess that was Applejack. The evening out had been, magic. From drinks to dinner to even a bit of dancing at a local club, Adagio had forgotten how much fun it was just to, live. Ever eager to get home to there little girl, the married couple barely stayed out past midnight. The news that greeted them at the door however, turned it south, fast.
"Ya and she did attack AJ!"
"Not helping Pinkie!"
"But it's true! I was like super uber scared! I haven't seen Aria like that outside the ring. She could have taken Applejacks head clean off!"
Sonata crossed her arms and put her blue nose in the air, disengaging from her argument with the chubby construction worker.
"Darlings, please! Applejack, while a bit brutish in her choice of phrase, is more then likely correct. I am sure Aria is just fine."
"Well I'm not."
Sunset, having gone to check on Sunray stormed down the hall, her knee length boots tromping in a march of annoyance. Coming up to the huddle of women trying to calm a raging Alpha Siren. The leader of the rainbooms took her place at her wife's side, slipping her boxer broken and worn fingers into the trembling fist of rage that was her mates hand, Sunset pulled the growling women close.
"I am going to go out and look for her. She maybe your sibling, but she is also mine. And like hell if she is moving out. I kinda like having her as our own personal guard dog."
The old joke bounced off the now teary eyed Adagio as she nuzzled at her mate, gripping to her in desperation.
"She can't go...she isn't strong enough to be alone. I..I need her here Sunny..please, find her! Bring her HOME!"
Ruby eyes snapped from her lovers bosom and cast a heated glare at the arm crossed form of Applejack.
"You...who are YOU to say those things to her. SHE IS MY SISTER! I put up with her flaws because that's who she is! Just like with Sonata or myself, we are NOT perfect you damn bitch! Who the FUCK are you to drive away MY family!"
Raising her farm work worn hands in defense, Aj felt fear well in her gut as she watched the petite women become like a howling storm.
"Now just done hold on there..."
"No! Well if you are going to play police officer in MY family. Why don't I just wander down to your farm and give the fifth degree to Applebloom for all the weed she smokes?"
"W..what? S..she wouldn't?!"
"Oh gee, did that just knock you down a peg? Get out, get out of our home...all of you!"
"Dagi I..I tried to call you..."
"I know Sonata, go home."
With her hand taken by her soon to be wife, Sonata was reluctantly escorted out by Rarity. Pinkie lingerd for a moment, her normally poof of wild pink hair, lank and limp like a river of bright color it washed over her chubby frame in sorrow. The plump women left shortly after, leaving the couple to stare up at the now silent farmer.
"I...I didn't mean any harm. I just want whats best for little Rayray that's all."
"Having her FAMILY, is what is best for OUR Daughter, Applejack."
Adagio blinked as her wife spoke up. The words loud and powerful. While still a head over the biker in height, Applejack felt lower then a worm. She lowerd her head and slinked past the duo. Pausing at the door the giantess turned and with a heavy heart, removed her hat.
"I am sorry. Ya'll are as close to me then my own kin. I..I just, don't like the idea of someone with so many problems being a major influence on the little tyke, you know?"
"Your complaint is noted, now get out."
The mated pair soon found themselves alone. For a long moment the couple shared they're gaze, only for Sunset to resolve herself with a loud snort.
"Go to her, I know you want too. I will find OUR Sister."
"Sunny please, please, bring her home! Bring her to HER home!"
The wide hipped mother smiled and dusted her mates cheek with a warm kiss. The embrace broke with a jingle of motorcycle keys. The slam of a garage door, the howl of a well maintained bike, and its echoing path that haunted the street, and she was alone. Steeling herself Adagio made her way into the nursery. Her hand constantly calling, and recalling her purple fleshed siblings cell, she placed the phone down to kneel at her Daughters cribe.
"Auntie Aria is going to be ok little one. Momma's here, your Mommy is going to find her, bring her home and all is going to be perfect again."
Running her fingers through the now growing puff of yellow hair her multi toned eyed daughter possessed, Adagio could only find herself thinking about when she was a foal. How her and Sonata would spend hours cleaning they're sisters scales, nuzzeling and keeping the every proud siren safe, warm, loved. Sure there was the times they took of other beings energy, but that was just nature. And as she looked down at her little girl, the proud Alpha whisperd.
"Bring her home Sunny...please..."
