In the distant past, the races of Panbios united against a terrible and unstoppable enemy. Countless hundreds of millennia later, a soldier of that war awakens to find Panbios replaced with the new and unfamiliar land of Equestria. Confused and alone, he realizes that he must complete the goal he failed to achieve in ancient times. As forces of Darkness and Light gather against him, he directs his final mission: to end the Choggoth War, regardless of the costs.
