"Let's see...if I were a psychopath hell bent on world wide destruction, where would I place a bomb in a city?" Ruby mused to herself as she and Lyric walked down the busy streets in their pony forms.

"From what I know of those kinds of people, they'd want to make it as flashy but as subtle as possible, while also causing the most devestation." Lyric spoke, thinking of what he's experienced with the likes of Hack Wonder and his goons.

Ruby thought for awhile until she stopped and looked up. She held out a hoof to stop Lyric and placed it under his chin before moviving his head up to look at the top of a large building in the centre of the city. Once Lyric caught sight of something glowing red, he noticed that many wires were hidden with concealing magic, all connected to various red crystals handing from the top of the skyscraper. "I think we found our bomb..."

"Oh...well, I guess we get Metal and Twilight then get rid of it...but how?" The timid Colt asked as he looked around. "We probably can't move it, and we definitely can't blow it up...and that magic in those crystals can cause serious harm to us...what do we do sis?"

Ruby thought for a moment before nodding. "Metal can control the Apocalypse Magic within the crystals, but if he were to absorb it, it would interfere with this timelines Metal and his planned course."

"We can think of something later, right now we've gotta get that thing down and away from the civilians." Lyric and Ruby turned around and began to run down the street to find the path Twilight and Metal had taken.

"...and that is why to this day I will never step foot inside a barber shop." Metal finished his more light hearted story, causing Twilight to giggle. "True story."

Twilight wiped a tear from her eye after laughing, after thinking of ways to rid him of the bad memories brought about by the city, Twilight had suggested that he focus on more positive memories and asked him to tell her some stories from his life before Xram was defeated in his timeline. "Wow, I can't believe Luna would ever do that."

"My Luna is most likely different from yours, mine was more outgoing and playful at times, yours seems to stick to her more serious but still soft tempered self." Metal explained as he looked to the rings on his fingers. Twilight expected him to become depressed, but was suprised to find him chuckling. "Heh...it was crazy with all three of them...it was a good run."

Twilight placed a hoof on his shoulder and gave him a small smile. He stated at her fir a second before sighing.

"Alright, we aren't gonna find any bomb or Maniac by standing here looking on old memories, let's get to it so I can make sure the same thing doesn't happen to this timelines version of me."

Twilight nodded and they continued on. As they were about to turn a corner they caught a glimpse of a hooded figure ducking into an alleyway. The two turned to each other and nodded, Metal readying his claws while Twilight readied her horn. After moving through the crowd of ponies easily, with Metals size intimidating the ponies causing them to stay clear of him, the two jumped into the alley and spotted the figure trying to climb the brick walls. Metal growled and jumped up, grabbed the hood and slammed the figure into the ground.

Metal backed off and let Twilight stand in front of him. The figure slowly got to its feet and stared at the two with glowing yellow eyes. "How are you? If you're wearing those robes and are fleeing from us you must be a Maniac." Twilight demanded as she got ready to cast a powerful spell if things got ugly, with Metal putting emphasis on the spikes around his body.

The figure sighed and pulled its hood down, revealing a female humanoid. A dark purple featureless face with two yellow eyes, black hair seeming to be like mist. "My name is Pyre Psychopath." She admitted with annoyance.

Metal blinked and narrowed his eyes. "Psychopath?"

Pyre rolled her eyes and glared. "Yeah, my dad's last name is Psychopath, everyone but me forgot his real name."

Twilight just stood there wide eyed. "Um...I'm not going to ask further..."

Metal took charge and walked up to Pyre, getting right up in her face and glaring at her with his red glowing eyes which accused her to shift under his gaze. "Where is the bomb?" He demanded sternly.

Pyre attempted to teleport away but a layer of red energy blocked the teleportation, causing her to smack against it before falling back. "What the hell was that?!"

"Apocalypse Magic used by someone who can actually use it right." Metal stated before stepping her her and holding her down, each claw holding down a limb. "Now...tell me where the Apocalypse Bomb is located or you and your father are going yo be ripped to shreds and then wiped from existence." His voice was dark and echoed slightly, his body emitting a drank red aura which caused Twilight to back up in uncomfortableness and caused Pyre to cower. "Tell me, now!"

"Ease up there big guy, we found the bomb." The three looked to see Ruby and Lyric standing at the entrance to the alley.

"Where?" Metal asked with a hushed voice.

"Tallest building in the middle of the city, look for the building with red crystals hanging off the roof."

In a flash Metal was gone, instantly appearing in the centre of town. He flew up and found the crystsals. Using his tail he cut the wires in a specific order as to not activate the device. After that he stood with his hands held out, the crystals glowing and turning into energy, losing their crystal forms. The energy formed a ball between Metals claws before it formed into one tiny gem which he placed in his storage unit. "There...once the other Metal starts looking for this I can have Ruby give it to him."

He sat down on top of the building, looking out at the sky in silence. He looked to his rings again and smiled softly.

"I'll find a way to see you again..."
