It’s been two weeks since Luna had arrived with her guards and told Sombra that Celestia had declared was against the Crystal empire and let me tell you it’s been hell, I’ve seen crystal and bat ponies come back from the field dead or injured but that’s not the worst part. The entire empire is blaming me for this was, which is absurd. Fuckin war.

The only one that’s not blaming me Is my friends and my girlfriend, Sombra isn’t blaming me either but he can’t say that because he is the king and he need the ponies to trust him. I would like to say that thing can’t get any wore but it’s long past that part.

I was lining on my back on the cough just looking at the celling, I haven’t had any work in two weeks thanks to Luna and it is pissing me off. I was almost out of food and I was starving, I looked over to Fang who was sleeping on the floor. I knew that he was also hungry but I can’t go hunting any more. Then someone knock at my door.

You must wonder who that can be. “Wolf? It’s me. Cobalt.” Now that was unexpected. I got off the couch and walked to the door, I unlocked the lock to let him in. “Since when did you lock your door?”

“Since almost every pony in the empire think that I’m the responsible for this war.”

He walked in and I locked the door and went back to cough to lay on my back, Cobalt sat down in main chair.

“But, you’re not responsible. Celestia is.”

“Try to tell that to entire Crystal empire.” I sighed. “How goes the war?”

“Bad, very bad.” I looked over to him, he was looking down on the floor and his ears was hanging down. “We are losing more and more soldiers, both crystal and bats ponies are dying every day. We had over 200 and now we are down to under 100.” Holy crap. “If Celestia would to attach us we won’t stand a change.”

"That’s it I had enough of that bitch, it’s about time I did something.” I got up and slam my hand on the table scaring Cobalt and waking Fang up. “If she thinks I would let her invade this place, she is wrong.”

“But what can you do Wolf? She is an alicorn, one of the most powerful ponies in Equestria.”

He got a point, she would probably kill me before I could get close to her and she won’t listen to Luna, wait a minute, Luna, family, that’s it.

“Cobalt, you got to let me see Sombra.”

He just looked confused. “Why?”

“I have an idea to stop this war.”

After that me, Cobalt and Frost Fang were on our way to the castle to talk to Sombra, after I told Cobalt what my idea was thought I was crazy and I don’t blame him.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” Cobalt asked for the tenth time.

“For the hundred times, yes. Can you please stop saying it?”

“But what you’re planning to do is suicide.”

“Probably, but everypony is busy with this war I’m the only one that can do it and besides, I want to do one good deed before I die.”

When we arrived at the castle they would not let me inn at first but luckily Ace was there, well inside me, Ace and Cobalt was on our way to Sombra. When we arrived at the room he was in with Luna we saw two bat ponies standing guard outside, they draw their swords when they saw me.

“What’s he doing her?” One of them asked us.

“We need to speak to king Sombra.” Ace told them.

“He and princess Luna are currently busy with this war he brought to the Crystal empire.”

That was the final straw, I had it with these fuckin ponies blaming me for all this. I walked over to them and grabbed them by their helmets and before they could react I slammed them into the wall knocking them out.

“What are you doing Wolf? We are short on solider as it is, we don’t need you to make it worse.” Ace said with anger in is voice.

I turned to him. “I’m sick of hearing the I’m the cause of this war.” I looked at the door where Sombra and Luna was and I kick it in, on the other side I could see a couple shocked ponies just wondering what just happened. Sombra and Luna with two bat ponies.

Luna was the first to say something. “What is the meaning of this?”

I walked over to the table and slammed both of my hands on the table scaring them. “Get your solider out of her Luna.” That made her furious.

“You came in her uninvaded and dare to give me orders? You better watch what you’re saying.”

I gave her a looked so cold that could freeze a person soul. “I said get your solider out of her NOW.” I could see the fear in her eyes.

“Guard, leave us.” They hesitated. “I said leave us.” She said with a louder voice and the got up and got out of the room. “What do you want Wolf?”

“I want you to tell me where your father is.”

She cocked an eye brown. “My father? Why do you want to know where he is?”

“Because I think he is the only one that can stop this war and I’m going to convince him to stop Celestia.”

The room was silence after I said the and I don’t blame them, my idea maybe be crazy but sometimes you need a crazy idea.

“Are you insane Wolf?” Ace asked me and he was right.

Luna looked at me as I crazy. “You want to know where my father is so you can convince him to stop Celestia?”

Didn’t I just say that? “Is there an echo in here? Because I just said that, are you going to tell me where he is or not?”

She leaned back in her chair. “I don’t know where he is.” What?

“Say what?”

“About eighteen months ago we lost our mother to sickness and after that out father just became an empty shell, he didn’t eat or drink, he had difficulty sleeping and one day he just disappeared leaving me and Celestia with control of Equestria.”

“And you two are doing a wonderful job.” I said with sarcasm in my voice.

I don’t blame them, taking over after their father like that can’t be easy for them that for sure. But I think he’s the only one who can stop Celestia and Luna don’t know where he is. Just my luck.

“But I wonder Wolf, why are you doing this? Are you trying to be the hero? To save the day? Make the crystal to worship you?” That last part was just sick.

“I’m no hero, I’m just a guy that want to something right in his life before I die.”

She stared to laugh. “Either you are incredible brave or incredible stupide.”

“We just have to wait and find out wont we.”

“I know where he is.”

We all looked at scorched of voice and it was Sombra and let me tell you I didn’t not expect that.

“Did you just say that you know where he is?” I asked him and he nodded. “And how the hell do you know where he is?”

“He paid me a visit about fourteen months ago, I think.”

“My father was here? Why?” I could see that Luna was desperate to know.

“He told me what happened and that he need a place to be alone so I suggested a cave by the three snow mountains.”

Luna got up from her chair and she looked pissed. “When were you going to tell me? When Celestia has won?”

Sombra was as calm as ever. “Never, I promised your father that I would never tell you where he is.”

“But are telling me now.”

“No, I’m telling Wolf not you.” He’s got a point.

“Is this a joke to Sombra? I should…”

I cut her off. “Hey, can we stay on topic her?” I glared at Luna. “You need to calm the fuck down princess.”

“Calm down? I just find out that Sombra has keep information about my father for over a year and you are telling me to calm down?”

“Yes, because right now we have more important issue than daddy problems. So, shut up, now.”

It looked like she was about to say something but she just stormed out of the room, Sombra leaned back in the chair.

“That went better than expected.”

“What makes you say that.”

“She didn’t kill me.”

I snorted. “I know how you fell.” He cooked and eye brown. “Let’s just say I did something without asking.” And I’m glad I’m alive.

“If you say so.” Then his face become serious. “But are you sure you want to find him?”

“No, but apparently everything is my fault so I’m going to end this war. One way or the other. So, where is he?”

Sombra pointed at the map that lay on the table, he pointed at some mountains. “I told him about a cave at three pointed mountains, these mountains are exactly the same length.” That’s explained the name, I think. “He’s probably there.”

He then looked at Ace and Cobalt that was standing by the door.

“Captain Ace and private Cobalt.” Both saluted. “I want you two find everything that Wolf need for this three day trip, that means food, water and warm clothes. Is that understood?”

“Yes sir.” They said at the same time and they were gone.

“I need to talk someone before I leave so I’ll be back.”

I arrived at hospital with Fang and let me tell you I was not welcome there that’s for sure, ponies there gave me looks, dirty looks. Well they tried that’s for sure, they should go home and practise in the mirror. Lucky for me the pony I was looking for sat in the front desk, when Amethyst saw me she was happy and concerned at once. I walked over to her.

“Wolf? What are you doing here?”

“I need to talk to you.”

“if you haven’t notice, we are in a middle of a war. We have wounded soldiers coming in every day, I can’t leave my post.”

“This is important.”

She stared to rube her tempest. “Fine, met me outside the hospital in five minutes.”

I walked outside and went around a corner to wait for her I didn’t have to wait long for her to arrive, she didn’t look happy.

“What were you thinking Wolf? You know that that my boss hates you.”

“So does the rest of the Crystal empire, so what’s your point.” I just realized what I said to her. “I’m sorry Amethyst, I just have been under a lot stress lately. Every pony hates me.”

“I know I am also sorry, I have also been under a lot of stress thanks to this war.” She tubbed her arm. “I wish it could end.”

“I know and that’s why I’m here, I have an idea to end this war.”

“And what’s that?”

Here’s the moment of truth. “I’m going to find Celestia and Luna’s father.”

“You’re going to do what now?”

“I’m going to…” She interrupted me.

“I heard you the first time Wolf, the question is why?”

“Because almost ever pony in the empire think I’m the reason there’s a war right now and I’m sick of it, so I’m going to find one pony that can stop it and that’s their father.”

“But how are you going to find him? I heard that he disappeared a year ago and nopony have seen him since.”

“Sombra know where he is and I’m going to find him.”

I was trying to read her facial expressions but it wasn’t easy, right now it looked like she had none and it was a little creepy. Then she did something that caught me of guard, she kissed me. I didn’t fight it I just pulled her closer. We eventually stopped.

“What was that for?” I asked her.

“A good luck kiss.” She then looked me in my good eye. “Promise me that you will come back to me.”

“I promise that I will come back and I always keep me promises.”

I gave her a kiss on her forehead and then I turned my attention to Fang who was standing guard. “Hey buddy.” I got down on my knees and he turned around to face me. “I want you to protect Amethyst while I’m gone, can you do that for me?” He just licked my face. “I take that as a yes.”

“Are you sure that’s wise decision Wolf?”

“Probably not but something tells me that you need him more than I do.”

I gave her one final kiss and headed off to the castle. When I arrived, I could see Ace and Cobalt waiting outside for me with bag and clothes.

“What’s all this?” I pointed at the bag and the clothes.

“In the bag is food and water, the clothes are to keep you warm. It’s could in the mountains.” Ace answered.

He gave them to me and I took them, I but the bag on my back. I decided to put on the warmth clothes later.

“Are you sure about this Wolf?” Cobalt asked me.

“No, but something has to be done and since is my fault I have to do it.”

“You got to stop and blaming yourself Wolf, It’s not…”

I cut Ace of before he got to finished that sentence. “Shut the hell up Ace, you have no idea how my life was before I came here, I was a criminal.” That shocked them, that’s for sure. “That’s right you pal Wolf O’Donnel was criminal before I came her and I’m sick of hearing that’s it’s my fault, so like I told Cobalt before I want to do one good deed before I died.” I left as soon as I said that so they couldn’t say anything

For four days, I have search these mountains and now sight of him and this fucking blizzard isn’t helping either, I haven’t had a decent night sleep in three days, I hate this place. Right now, I was standing in front of a chasm and a wooden bridge and thanks to this fucking blizzard it was not safe, it sways from side to side and I’m getting sick in my stomach by just watching it.

But I must cross it because I saw a light in a cave on the other side and I’m hoping that he is inn there, now that I think of it, I never ask for his name. I can ask him when I find him if I survive this bridge.

I stared to put my right foot on it and carefully walked on it and the moment I did that the wind pick up, I back up. “Fucking weather.” I tried again and this time I was lucky, I stared to move as fast as I could but at the same time I tried not to fall down in to the chasm, I do not fear heights but this time I was scared.

When I came to the middle of the bridge the wind pick up again and the bridge stared to sway from side to side, I could actually see my life flash in front of me and the only good thing I could see was Amethyst the rest was all the people I have killed. Yeah, my life isn’t something of a hero that’s for sure.

Then wind stared to get even more furious so I stared to run, that was maybe not the smartest thing to do. While I ran, the bridge stared to fall apart under my feet, I could see the other side so I jump the last feet and I landed on the other side, barely. I stared to kiss the snow, so happy was I to survived that.

Safely on the other side of the chasm I stared to search after the cave and it didn’t take long before I found it, when I looked in the cave I could see a faint light so I was hoping that he lived here. I could feel it getting warmer as I walked further into the cave so I was on the right track. I finally reached were the light was coming from and boy I got a shock, I could see furniture, a bed, kitchenware, this guy had it all. But I couldn’t see him and that’s just great.

I stared to look around the place to find a clue to where he was but before I could start. “I can’t move.” Something was keeping me from moving and I was guessing it was magic. I could hear footsteps behind me and when I finally could see who it was I got quite a shock, he looked like Celestia but he had a beard and his hair was different, beside that he looked like Celestia.

“Who are you and what are you doing here?”

“My name is Wolf and I’m guessing you are Celestia and Luna father.”

“That I’m am, what do you want?”

“I want you to stop Celestia so she doesn’t invade the Crystal empire.”

He just looked confused when I said the. “You want me to stop Celestia?” I nodded. “Why and how did you find this place? The only one I told about this place was Sombra, did he tell you?”

He stared to strangle me with his magic when he said that. “Yes… he… told… me… can you let of my throat?” He stopped choking me and I gasp for air.

“Dammit Sombra, what’s this about Celestia invade the empire?” He asked.

“About two weeks ago she declared was against the empire and I’m afraid she will invade and kill everypony there, that including your younger daughter Luna.”

“What are you taking about? What’s Luna doing in the Crystal empire?”

Just great now I have to explained everything to him so I did, I told him that Celestia invaded the empire right after he left and that she had made several trips to convince Sombra to give up the empire to her. When I was finished, I could see that he was thinking.

“If you are telling me is true, then I can do nothing about it.”

What the hell. “What do you mean you can’t do anything? You are the fucking king.”

He punched me in the face. “My name is Solaris and you will respect that and what Celestia and Luna is doing is nothing of my business, they were meant to rule together.”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, here is a father that don’t care that one of his daughter has totally lost it. What and asshole.

“Your pathetic.”

That got is attention. “What did you just say?”

“You hear me, I said that your pathetic. You lose your wife, run away and let your two daughter run a country together something they can’t. You’re not pathetic, you’re a loser.”

He looked me right in my good eye. “Mention my wife one more time, I dare you.”

“I don’t have to I don’t think you deserve her in the first place.”

I was slammed into wall so hard that it knocked the breath out of me, I land hard on the ground trying to catch my breath. Then I felt a hand around my neck and I was lifted up and what I saw furious alicorn.

“Don’t you dear talk about my wife, she was loving wife and a mother.”

“If she was such a loving mother why did she do such a lousy job with Celestia.”

That got him even more angrier, he punched me so hard in the stomach that I cough up blood. If you think that my plan was to make him mad your wrong, my plan was to make him realize that Celestia must be stop. Right now, it wasn’t working very well.

“My wife and I did a wonderful job with Celestia, we raised her to be a caring ruler. What you are saying is a lie.”

“Well your ‘caring ruler’ is about to go to war against the Crystal empire while you are hiding in a cave, you and your wife fuck up.”

“Say one more thing about my wife and I will kill you, do you understand me?”

“No I don’t.” That got him to coke an eyebrow. “Why can’t you understand than the Celestia wasn’t ready to be a ruler, hell I don’t think Luna is either. And now they are going to war against each other, is that what you really want?”

“Your lying, Celestia would never go to war against her little sister and this conversation is over.”

All of sudden his horn stared to glow and I thought that he was going to kill but instead I saw a bright light and then was staining in a forest. “What the hell happened?” I looked around and it looked like the forest I ended up in when I arrived in this world.

“That fucking bastard teleported me.” Then I felt something in my stomach. “Oh crap, I think my breakfast is coming up.” Then threw up. “Memo to myself; the next pony that’s is teleporting me I’m going to punch in the face.”

Then I stared to sniff in the air. “Do I smell smoke?” I looked up to see if I could see any smoke and I did, it was in the direction of the empire. “Oh fuck.” I stared to run towards the smoke.
