“Wolf, why are there soldiers in the street?”

“I don’t know Amethyst.”

Me and Amethyst was standing in my front yard and what we saw was soldier’s walking down the street, they looked like ponies but they had fangs and bat wings? What the hell.

“They look like Princess Luna’s night guard.”

I looked at her with question look. “Night guard? They look like bats.”

“I never seen them but I heard that her guards have fangs and bat wings.”

Okay, that’s just creepy. How the hell want to look like a bat? More important, what the hell are they doing the Crystal empire? One thing I know is that they are heading for the castle and so are I’m.

“Where are you going?” Amethyst ask me.

“I’m going to find out why they are here.” I followed them.

“Wait for me.” Amethyst followed me.

When we arrived at the castle a large group had gathered, I also could see most of the crystal guard had gathered and their weapons was drawn and pointed at Luna and her guard. Me and Amethyst manged to push us through the group and up front, a crystal guard step forward and it was Ace?

“My name is captain Ace McCloud.” Captain? Not bad. “What’s is your business her princess Luna?”

“I ned to speak with king Sombra.”

Ace lifted and eyebrow. “You need to speak with our king? You march into the crystal empire with all of your night guard and want to speak with king Sombra, I could take this as an act of war and have you thrown in the dungeon.” He shouted that last part.

“If you don’t let me speak with king Sombra you are going to have a war soon.”

Ace was now angry. “That’s it, guard’s. Throw the princess and her night guard in the dungeon.”

The crystal guard was about to move to arrested them when.

“That’s enough.” In the door to the castle stood Sombra. “Guard’s stand down, NOW.” The crystal guard put away their swords, Sombra walked down the stairs with his arms behind his back and towards Ace who was kneeling. “Explain yourself captain Ace.”

“I’m sorry my king, I was only following the rules.”

“I know that but the last thing we need is a bloodshed her in the open.” He then turned his attention to Luna. “What are you doing her Luna? Did your sister send you?”

“My sister does not know that I’m here.”

“Then why are you here?” She didn’t answer him at first. “Answer me Luna.”

“I would like to talk with you in private.”

He walked straight to her and some of her soldiers drew their sword as so did Sombra’s guard, they were face to face.

“You come to the crystal empire with your night guard as you own the place, you are going to tell me why you are her NOW or you going to have deal with me.”

He was actually breathing hard. After that I felt terrified of him, I can’t explain it but it was like his personality change. He went to nice king to bad King in like a second, I looked over to Amethyst and she was shaking. I put and arm on her should to pull her closer to me, she looked at me and smiled and I smiled back.

“Alright Sombra, have it your way.” I could her that Luna was scared. “My sister has declared war against the crystal empire.”

Right after she said that I could her ponies talk among them self, Amethyst but arms around me and gave me a hug. I could tell she was afraid.

“Declared war? Why?” Now that’s a good question.

“She said that you should have accepted her demands.” Luna answered him.

“Her demands were absurd, she wants me to resign as king and rule the empire herself.” Seriously? What a bitch. “Well that’s not going to happened, I’m not going to give up the demands to a pampered princess.”

I could hear a lot of gasping coming from the crystal ponies around me and I’m pretty sure that Luna’s brain stopped working. Me? I just smiled, Nice word of Sombra.

Luna chough, probably to get over what Sombra said. “I completely agreed with you Sombra, maybe not on that last part.” Yeah, sure. “The part I’m here with my night guard is I’m here to help.” Didn’t see that coming.

“You are her to help?” I could her the confusion in his voice. “What are you planning? Are you here just to help your sister to take over the empire?” Now that’s a good question.

“I’m not like my sister, unlike her I want peace with crystal empire not war.”

Sombra studied her face. “You’re not lying that’s for sure, if Celestia is really has declared was with the crystal empire she would have a tough time attacking us. Oure forces are a lot stronger than last time.”

“This time she has help.”

“What do you mean ‘help’? Who’s helping her?” I think I know.

“About a week ago a crystal pony came to our castle by the name of Shield.” Knew it.

Now that got Sombra attention, I could see it on his face. “Shield? What’s that traitor doing with your sister?” I think I know that part to.

“He said that he wants revenge for what you and some pony by the name of ‘Wolf’ did to him.” I knew it.

“Wolf?”

Sombra looked in my direction and I think ever one ells that had showed up looked in my direction, and then I mean literally every one.

“Sure, blame the one in the empire that’s not a pony.” Fucking Shield.

Then one of Luna’s guard had brilliant idea. “If this creature is the reason then I say we kill it.” He drew his sword and took of straight at me, I pushed Amethyst out of the way so she wouldn’t be hurt.

I waited to the moment he took a swing at me with his sword and the I doge it, barely. Then I slam my elbow in his nose so hard that I could hear it shattered, he fell down on the ground holding his bleeding nose, I looked over to the rest of her night guard.

“Any one ells that want to try to kill me?” None of them moved. “Thought so.”

Luna looked over too two of her guard and nodded her head toward the soldier that was lying beside me, they saluted and walked over to him carry him back to the others. Sombra brought his attention back to Luna.

“If you really want to help Luna I suggested that you control your solider, I don’t like that they attack my friend.” Did he just say that I’m his friend? Cool.

“Do you acted my help then?”

I could see that Sombra was think. “I acted you help BUT, there are one condition; your guard’s is going to take orders from my guard’s, I don’t care how rank they have right now they are just ordinary guard’s. Are we clear?”

“Yes.” Nice answered Luna.

“Good, captain Ace. “Ace walked over to Sombra and saluted. “Show Luna’s were her guards can sleep, I’m going to have a conversation with Luna in private.”

After that Luna’s guard followed Ace while Luna followed Sombra into the castle the crowed disbanded leaving me and Amethyst alone.

“Wolf, is it true?” Amethyst asked me.

“What’s true.”

“That’s you’re the cause there’s a war.”

I think my brain explode when she said that. “How? What? When did they mention that it was MY FAULT?” I didn’t mean shout that last part but can you blame me.

She back away from me. “I heard that Shield want revenge for what you did to him.”

“And that makes you believe that is my fault? Here’s what happened six weeks ago; I was in the castle and watch Shield trying to kill a mare, I challenge him and won.” I calmed down a bite. “And I maybe have humiliated him in front of his guard, but that’s it.”

She ran over to hug me. “I believe you, I don’t know why I said that. I’m so sorry.”

I patted her on the head. “I know you are.”

“What do you think will happened now?”

I didn’t answer her because I know exactly what will happen, war is coming.
